Bought into the CKB hype a while back - so far have suffered losses in YOK, Daruma, and Koi but am hopeful since it seems like a bunch of new projects are in the works.
Im super rekt on CKB as well. Initial buy at 0.015, ran it up to 0.033ish and didn't take any profits. Then bought more after that pump, threw it in YOK-CKB LP on yokaiswap dex, which their YOK coin has also declined a good 90%. Trash.
DarumaDAO closing up shop on Nervos Network. The Nervos L2 is a total cluster fuck ngl. DRM, KOI, YOK have all tarnished the reputation of Nervos/CKB big time. It's going to take a lot of work to recover. I'm re-entering a position on CKB while it's cheap. It's a smart team, I think they'll be able to rebuild the L2. Lots of questions though, so not too heavy of a bag here.
CKB is my biggest moonshot coin. Very hopeful it and YOK will be successful

In this case, I wasn't staking- I was providing liquidity for a trading pair of YOK:CKB (and a few others), and getting paid in trading fees + the a high APY paid out in YOK. Unfortunately, over a course of weeks, the price of YOK (the farming rewards token) dropped quickly enough that trading all my framing rewards in means I *only* lost around 18% of the CKB I'd started farming with before deciding to bail.
I cpuldnt agree more man. I jumped out of YOK at .2 after entering at .3 it’s a badass dex that should do well next bull run and after the ADA/BTC bridges are completed. I’m still mega bullish on CKB long term as well and will DCA out of DRM back to ckb
Watching YOK bleed has been quite depressing, but I'm going to wait and see. I'm excited about Nervos Network overall though and have enjoyed playing around with YokaiSwap and the IDOs etc.
It’s been pumping slowly even as CKB is stagnant and YOK is bleeding out. Felt right. Might lose $1500 might double it and get out in a month. We’ll see

For safety the Nervos dao gives 2% returns to protect against inflation. Now is a good time to jump into yokaiswap farm too though as YOK token has bottomed out I hope that’s like 250% return

I know what you mean, especially when it comes to crazy APYs that are advertised for new tokens! I'm pretty cautious and generally only play around with a small proportion of my portfolio e.g. for Nervos Network, I have <20% of my ckb converted to YOK and LPs for farming and pools, and I keep an eye on it regularly. But then I was one of the ones that got caught up in the tinyman exploit, so maybe I have no idea what I'm doing!

In a nutshell, when you stake your coins, your gaining rewards for verifying transactions on the network. When you farm, you are providing liquidity for that pair of coins. In your case probably CKB-YOK, as that is the most popular. When you do this you run the risk of impermanent loss, which is explained here, https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/impermanent-loss-explained. While you will almost certainly experience some loss, it would be offset by the rewards you get for providing liquidity. You normally get lower rewards for staking vs farming cause there is less risk. What you choose to do is up to you, but I do both, I farm a large portion of my CKB-YOK position, then stake those rewards further in the staking pools. Hope that helped. 😀

I'm providing CKB-YOK pair in the YokaiSwap dex. The APR is still pretty high, around 270% right now. It's steadily going down, but there's money to be made.
Same I’ve been averaging down hard on this dip though but farming on YOK and recent darumaDAO gains have more than made up for it though

I know you guys don't recommend it but I'm taking 50k out of my house, in addition to 50k of personal loans I've taken already in the past 7 months.. we're currently split between CKB/YOK, mm.finance and mimas.finance. Yokai swap right now sits at ~400% on their YOK token. But it’s in a staking pool. Otherwise, on Okcoin you can get 145% on Miami coin. Obviously more risk in both since they’re not stable.

Why do i see 0,87% APR on Yokaiswap for YOK-CKB ?
YOK is the one you need to be buying in my opinion. .43 with a potential of $5-10 this year with all the new farms and launchpad offerings. ADA to be listed soon. Check out their roadmap for details

You have to swap half for YOK then create LP token then stake that in the farm. Or you can swap can swap foe YOK only and stake in the pool. The farm rewards are the highest though so I use that and put YOK I earn into pool to compound
The value of YOK has actually increased quite a bit since I got into this farm. For now I only have gains no losses.
I mean, it's likely the APY tanks due to a hyper inflationary token (YOK) and additional liquidity but the underlying pair are separate from it so there's only smart contract and typical IL risk for the coins in the farm.
Well, YOK is the token from Yokaiswap, currently the only DEX on Nervos Network. So I'm betting that if Nervos Network- CBK is successful then no doubt Yokaiswap will too

I honestly think 10x is very possible in next few years. It’s first dex yokaiswap has over $100m liquidity in 6 weeks and the YOK token is doing great with huge LP rewards. Feels good to be this early to a project of this magnitude

Yeah I’m keeping my farm profits in the YOK pool as well for those sweet compounding rewards. The TVL was like 30m when I got in and now it’s +100m. Very excited for launchpad to drop in a few weeks for new tokens and more bridges in the pipeline like ADA and BSC
I went all in when YOK was .24. I got in the farm for a while but got scared with Impermanent loss. Just staking YOK in the pool. Still making money even though the price has consolidated the last few days.
Hell yeah. Yokaiswap has saved my portfolio as well. I have 50% gains on the CKB I’m farming with. My only regret is not going all in when I started. YOK and CKB price have both held up exceptionally well throughout this downtrend too imo. Don’t advertise this shit too much if you want that APY to last much longer though lol

Yes, uniswap is very reliable, however I'm don't have a position in ETH right now. I'm staking Harmony One via the browser extension, and providing liquidity through Defi Kingdoms. I'm also staking CKB through the Nervos DAO and YOK through YokaiSwap on the Godwoken network (CKB/Nervos Network's layer 2). Also doing the governorship with Algo and plan to mess around with Algo Defi soon.
CKB would be 80x with SOL market cap and CKB is actually decentralized and secure. I also think the dex token YOK is going to be a big player when Nervos goes parabolic

That'll do. 1k usd will probably get you around 30+ YOK a day which is around 15 usd as of now based on the built in calculator. Of course, YOK may or may not increase in time but I'm enjoying my YOK earnings so far. But I like Yokaiswap so far.

It's still not too late, and I probably lost a lot initially due to general YokaiSwap instability the first couple of days and YOK being way overpriced. It got evened out by the insane initial APR thankfully, otherwise I'd be deep red by now lol

I just started using yokaiswap today and am pretty impressed so far. The transaction speeds are almost instant and gas fees fractions of pennies. I grabbed some of the dex token YOK for a gamble as well and have it staked for massive rewards. CKB seems like the real deal to me so far and we’re still early imo

It feels good being early on two projects I’m confident will be huge in coming years. Picked up more CKB and swapped it for YOK dex token two weeks after it’s launch. Got them staking for a cool 1600% APY.
That amount is based on current APY which will decrease also current price of YOK which will follow price of ckb. The way I see it the dex is brand new and price of yok already dipped hard after launch so it should keep increasing with popularity of CKB

Can’t get enough CKB and YOK
So far I’ve been staking my LP token for almost 24 hours and earned 616 YOK which is around 340$
Go on Meta Mask and on the browser go to yokai swap on the browser and link your wallet. Then on yokai swap go to your wallet and send CKB to the layer 1 address. I sent 200k CKB. Then on yokai swap you go to bridge so you can transfer the CKB to Layer 2. After that I swapped half the CKB for YOK. Then you add liquidity i did the 50/50 split of CKB and YOK. Then you go to earn and stake your LP token.

Yokaiswap (YOK) goes live tomorrow on Nervos Network Level 2. They were raising 8.4 million CKB for their IDO and got over 2 billion CKB allocated for it. Huge demand for the first DEX and DeFi on Nervos. Most of that extra CKB should be exchanged into a low supply of YOK and drive the price up for a bit with some nice APY%. Could definitely drop after like some other DEX listings but could be good in the future.
