I’m not sure, I’m petrified the markets going to turn on me the second I go long… I made solid money on Intel this am, & if I just stayed with that & called it a day I’d be in a totally different situation right now. I’m thinking of maybe putting in big into Intel 50 calls maybe 1-2 months out? Or, trying to bottom hunt DKNG & do 40 strike maybe 2 months ago. 1 or the other. Maybe split between both.

This would probably be me except before I started playing options I bought 1500 shares of DKNG at $14 that I sold at $30 and I bought 2000 shares of ASTS at $11 that I am still holding. 2026 was my first and last full year of options. Going to keep gambling but buying multiple weeklies and 0DTE every week is not an effective way for me to make money.
Devils advocate - UNH is not good however there are 400,000 people working there. Optum hires every level of clinical staff that care for patients. Statistically they are in the majority doing the right thing. Financially - signs point otherwise. Its not comparable to a stock like PLTR/RTX/MO/DKNG

If you bought the SPAC when it debuted you’re up 250%. All SPACs (except for a few exceptions) start at $10. DKNG has definitely lost their crown though. They lost about 50% from their high and other SPACs are doing much better

I’m not down 33m but the odds of me making it all back in short term are low. Long term outline and stick to it. Easier said than done: I know. With autonomy on the rise the future is very uncertain. Maybe hold what you have in VMFXX and then buy SpaceX at IPO. Or some other well researched growth potential stock. DKNG is a casino and buying the stock is like betting on the house. Look at RH last year. Options are rigged. And you’re playing against AI now. Who always makes the closest odds? Vegas. AI uses everything for its conclusions. I have been wheeling: SOFI, ACHR, JOBY, INTC, LYFT, RIVN, IONQ, QBTS, M, DKNG, and MRNA. I sell 25 delta puts 45DTE and if the delta goes below 10 and still has more than 21 dte I roll up in the same expire, if less than 21 DTE I roll out and re-establish that 25 delta. If we get close to expire and the delta is like 40 or 45 or maybe ITM at 60 delta, I just hold it and perhaps get assigned, then sell a covered call at 30 delta, 45 days out and then sell another put at 25 delta. Has been working so far. I usually have at least on call amd one put get hit. I also only do the Monthly expires so all my contracts line up.

It's a stock that will stagnate on growth. Increasing profits once gamblers have signed up mean messing with odds that go against gambling rules. DKNG isn't social media, but if they are able to turn it into one, then welcome the bots.
The best line I’ve seen about DKNG is ‘household name in the industry, shit stock to own’. Since the liberation day bottom you would’ve doubled money on NVDA, TSLA, and others. If you bought DKNG you were a loser last week before this weird $5 rally. Sportsbetting and iGaming face like 10 headwinds for every little morsel of good news. States want to tighten regulation or take a bit more of the pie every month it seems and DKNG isn’t even profitable.
This isn’t even the first time DKNG and ESPN got into bed. They broke up a few years back, later on PENN and ESPN hooked up. They broke up and now DKNG/ESPN is back together. You are vastly overestimating the impact there.

If you're looking for a somewhat conservative play just go all in on DKNG 35c for March. I'd be surprised if it doesn't do one of its casual runs to 40+ before then. Could probably buy like 70 of those.
No, no, it's definitely not gambling, that's regulated by the states. Here at Kashi (not to be confused with a high-fiber breakfast cereal fad from 1994) we offer "event contracts" that are regulated only federally by the CFTC since they're totally futures and not gambling on the outcome of say sporting events. Sure, some might say the only reason we have a business model is Trump Jr. is now on our board ensuring the money sieve we're stealing from regulated state gambling boards--and states who never legalized online betting--keeps HOOD stock pumping as we're one of their largest growth drivers this year. Meanwhile, for those of us who finally thought this was going to be DKNG's year...at least we have some pissed rich people with lawyers on our side. Meanwhile, the gambling continues apace, completely unregulated other than by people who mostly look at Randolph and Mortimer Duke FCOJ futures.
