I bought those calls in August 2025. Funny story as to why. I was first getting into trading in 2023 and was talking about flipping $2 stocks that I thought would double. So I was trying to double 1,000 dollars. My friend said I was dumb and told me to buy AXSM because he did research. It was $74 a share so I bought 13 and then sold immediately because I didn’t think it was good (he put in 10k). Fast forward to 2025 and I learned about calls and was doing ok on some tech stocks when I remembered AXSM. I did slight research and I’m a sucker for these articles (googles AXSM and hit the news tab) that say the stock could go up. At the time they were saying as high as $260 a share. I said fuck it and bought the longest call I could. Then I started hearing about the FDA stuff and heard they had a mile point at 4/30/2026 and my goal was to hold until at least then. Pre-conflict I was +20k and my wife got mad when I didn’t sell and gave me the eye when it dumped to +7k. But today (I was tempted to hold longer) I decided to take the win and see where I can invest next. I dabbled in futures and got my butt kicked so not there. Overall I started with 15k last year and am at $61k (now with a large tax burden)

Well today it’s down to 50 with AXSM trending down from the big jump. I assumed people are selling out to get their gains and it will continue to trend back up around April (based on news of their upcoming therapy product progress). I need to find a balanced approach with maybe some long calls and actual stock. I don’t own any stock at this point. I try to stay away from bitcoin mostly just due to the higher fees.
100 percent. I do so much better when I leave emotion at the door (still hard for me). I bought AXSM calls in August and so far I have stuck to my plan of holding til this September 2026. The calls had $15k day on the 30th I think it was which was insane for me. I briefly let my head get to me and literally almost closed them out the day before at total gain of 4k because it went down a grand from the days before. Overall I’m still likely trading with emotion or feelings than any real research. I’m up to 55k from 15k in one year but could be much higher if I was disciplined. I’m just doing naked calls and hoping they stick which is terrible investing.

Dude look at the history of AXSM. No, I am not saying that IXHL will go even close to on the same path. But good phase 2 results can lead to good phase 3 results etc. etc. Maybe also a buy out. I encourage everyone to check out the history/chart of AXSM.You can have an opinion without being a d--k. Say hi to your sister for me.

AXSM they are one of the few publicly traded companies with a black CEO and are working on non-stimulant/non-amphetamine ADHD medications. Those drugs would also support the need for ADHD meds when there is a vivance/Adderall shortage. Doing well so far....

Idk if this will be at all helpful, and I’m sure you already know this, but I do wanna give a warning out about that cuz I’ve seen like 300 people start this way, and I wish someone woulda told me this when I started. When I started, I bought Vaxart and saw it shoot up 80%. So I sold and went into AXSM. Same thing. Then into Sofi. I hit 3/3 and made like 2k each time. I thought I had a method that couldn’t fail. Figured I was ready to get rich and threw 5k out of the 6k I earned on a stock called ARBB. It went up to 8k. Then down to 1.6k in the blink of an eye. Basically what I’m saying is, you’ll never be quite as smart as you think you are in the market. Pulling out early is better than pulling out late (giggity) and stay smart. Congrats on doing so well on your first stock! Rooting for you
Damn I remember when VKTX was less than a dollar a share lol I had the same experience with AXSM. I had originally bought shares with them for like 7$/share; needless to say I was upset I sold around 20$/share 😅😂

The real winner here will be AXSM, with their new oral NMDA receptor antagonist, Auvelity. This is the same MoA as Ketamine, except much more stable (2x daily) oral dosing rather than inconvenient supervised infusions at clinical sites.

AXSM. Biopharma. They have an approved anti-depressent called Auvelity that is showing a lot of promise in pre-release script numbers. They also have several other drug pipelines that are either in Phase III or close to approval. Currently $3.5B, I see upside of $10B+ and some online think it could go as high $50B.

Nice! I was trying to penny-pinch and missed my chance a few times. Had tried to get 13000 at 60 cents but it didnt drop below 62. So stupid, of course. Should have just bought there. Ended up with 5600 at 85. I knew what was here after reading level 1 data. This will be a portfolio maker. AXSM did well for me, too. Now I just have to wait for NVAX to move back to respectability - avged down to 15 and change. Expecting a solid return there, too, eventually.
Well I saw it when it was sub-$1. Bought at that level and got a little nervous with the crazy volatility and sold for a slight profit. Started doing much more DD and then bought from $1.30 to above $5 due to some damn FOMO. Averaged in at $3. The latest safety study they released has me pretty excited. Hoping to see this climb steadily until phase 3 results. I made out really well with both CCXI and AXSM so hoping this behaves in a similar manner post-phase 3 data if it’s solid.
I felt this way for most of the last year or two. Luckily I diversified and managed to recoup my losses and make a small profit from AXSM, which I never thought would happen.

Hindsight Trading here. If there was ever a week to speed run a $100 account to 3 billion, this was it. Please somebody check my math. I’m dumb as a brick, but here’s what I’ve got: Monday, $100 into AXSM $70 calls up 1142.25% Tuesday, $1142.25 in FUTU $56.50 calls up 343.66% = $3925.45 Bet the house on Wednesday’s SPX 4050 calls for a 48,500% gain for a total of $1,903,846.33 Thursday the FIVE 180 calls were up 748.65% for $14,253,145.54 Roll all that Friday into the ENPH $335 calls for a 23,450% gain. That leaves you with an account value of $3,342,362,630.92 I don’t really believe the math because a five day winning streak turning $100 into $3 Billion seems just a little crazy.
What are your thoughts on AXSM now?
Hindsight Trading’s daily update- it looks like the $70 calls on AXSM were one of, if not the, best play of the day. Up a cool 1,142.25 % on the day. Better luck next time.

I’m loaded up on ARDX calls for the AdCom Wednesday (tomorrow) - but this is most definitely a large gamble. AXSM Monitoring PVRB going in to PDUFA. I don’t believe the stock will spike substantially upon approval. If it doesn’t, I’ll use the Theta decay to load up on calls for next month.

None since this is the first time I hear of them. My biotech watchlist so far is CRSP NTLA EDIT TXG RCUS AXSM NVAX TDOC But CRSP NVAX and RCUS are the only ones I did any thorough DD in and chose CRSP as the only one to have a position in (my entire portfolio is like 10, mostly value, companies I have big faith in)
There is this company with a new depression drug. AXSM. Perhaps try taking the drug when it comes out 4th quarter and in the meantime check out the bullish stock too. Perhaps a double cure?
