Been following CRBP for a while. I see it's made it on your list. Good news coming in at the end of the week and earnings on 3/11. Let's hope for some movement. Overall, it has a positive sentiment and is rated "oversold."
Very nice buy on VKTX! I've also owned it since 2022. CRBP cratered earlier this Fall (I think it was down 70% in a day?) because NVO's new drug that uses the same mechanism (blocking a cannabinoid receptor instead of GLP-1) lead to a lot of the same adverse effects as GLP-1s plus a bunch of neuropsychiatric adverse effects - irritability, sleeplessness, anxiety. Higher doses also didn't deliver stronger results. I think Sanofi had one in Europe at one point that was withdrawn. I haven't looked at CRBP in months and perhaps they have a better version ultimately, but I think adverse effects are an issue and if the weight loss isn't better and the effects are worse, is it going to be that commercially viable? So, I don't know - again, maybe CRBP has a better version but you have to be aware that it's different than VKTX and why it cratered a few months ago. I'd research the name a bit more and then come to a conclusion - and maybe consider diversifying to other fields in biotech, as well.
Thanks! I had pulled out my profits beforehand but this was a big move on my end and risky even for me. I always go here when I win big and had pulled out over 10k shorting Rivian and rising PLTR’s waves doing options. I switched my purchasing back to stocks in Rivian, PLTR, LEV, AND CRBP (this is a good one).

I ain't gonna lie I don't even know what an API is. I learnt about Technicals about 1 week ago. I'm just optimistic that Genting is taking minority control and is essentially forcing the company to become successful. I owned CRBP before its 30-1 reverse split @ .75 I owned ICU at .78 (sold at 1.06) I owned GSLI back at 9.2 Although I sold all of these at the wrong time (except for ICU), this method has given me some real potential winners. As risky as it is I just figure I'm young enough to start over if need be. Not even out of college yet. But honestly the main component of this is just taking the risk. These 4 companies are the only stocks I've used this method to find and have found moderate success in all. IDK, take whatever possible from my incoherent ramblings. I wouldn't say I'm a rocket scientist.

Had someone I knew do this. Never take heavy size. Guy would put 25-50% of his account into these trades a week or two before the announcements. Usually they moved up a bit before and he could just sell at a profit, but he would hold through to the announcement each time for some reason. He made really good money. Got up to six figures from five figures. But one time he was diversified between three different bio stocks, and I kid you not, each one of them deceased a minimum 40% in the span of a week, with one of them decreasing 80%. His over 100k account dropped below 30k in one week. He hasn’t recovered since. Probably something to do with how he views these trades. The main point is- yes you can make a killing, but in you own self interest be very careful with your risk management and allocation. Funny enough I shorted 500 shares of CRBP on Friday around 32s, netting solid profit before end of day. While shares being available are usually limited, my broker (IBKR) can usually locate at least some. Anyways good luck trading!
For everyone wondering how I found it… I’ve been trying out a new strategy since December that combines short squeezes with catalyst events focusing on pharmaceuticals and biotech. I found an awesome website that has a calendar of PDUFA dates and clinical trial result publication dates. I got the idea by screening stocks on Finviz daily. I normally look for value stocks but on the home page I started to notice that the majority of the top gainers for the day were pharma/biotech that had positive clinical results, FDA approval or PDUFA. A lot of small pharma companies have high short interest and a cheap price. Combining these two ideas of short squeeze and catalyst events seems to be giving me an edge so far. I’ve only been trading with real money since the start of the year so I don’t have much data if this can work long term. But so far it’s going well. I had one do 15% last week. Then today CRBP did +300% and then right before the market closed another released results and did 20%. If anyone else has success with this let me know!!

Yes, that's what I'm saying. I came to this conclusion while the entire market was still doing well, and all my other bullshit random plays were panning out based on pure luck. Meanwhile people on Reddit were hyping up hot garbage day in and day out. I forgot the ticker but I still remember some stock that half this sub was foaming at the mouth for, only to watch it lose like 80% over night. Half the front page was posts about how big this play was going to be lol. CTXR, HITIF, CRBP SNGX, just to name a few, all hyped as great long term plays here, all practically in free fall while the market is up 17% for the same time period. And I bet you anything someone is going to show up to this thread to try and convince me that these actually aren't trash and I'm just "not seeing" how a stock that went -85% in a year is actually a gem in disguise.

The drugmaker's shares are tanking this morning in response to a negative late-stage readout for lenabasum in patients with a rare autoimmune disorder known as diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis (SSc). Lenabasum, an oral synthetic endocannabinoid-mimetic that selectively binds to the cannabinoid receptor type 2, reportedly failed to outperform placebo on the trial's primary and secondary endpoints. The drug's other ongoing trials for dermatomyositis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and cystic fibrosis are unaffected by this late-stage miss, according to the company's press release. So what Lenabasum stood to become the first ever FDA-approved treatment for SSc. Corbus, in turn, would have more than likely had a blockbuster drug on its hands if the drug had passed this critical test. So, given the potential financial impact of this late-stage clinical failure on Corbus' future revenue, it's easy to see why shareholders are heading for the exits today.
