Holding: IPW: Low float, highest volume on record today. The entire float has changed hands almost 6 times today. Bears are leaving. AMC: Diluted, but because of the sheer amount of synthetic shares that need to be replaced with real ones, there's a buying frenzy happening. EGHT: A technical play, but there's a few fluff pieces coming out today . . . which is also writing on the wall. ZIP: Another technical play. This should turn out to be another example of "charting the news ahead of time".

I think EGHT wants to pop. Remember OCTO? Same company, new ticker. I think. Right?

EGHT is also in a good position for at least 10% - 15% gain to 2$

Pissed that I missed my call entry yesterday. Maybe I get lucky and the market dips one more time. Support is still about $397 so that is my entry target. Only a few good setups out there. RDFN, FIGS, CRNC all look good off the 20ma. I think the market still needs to consolidate from here. Choppy and unpredictable days ahead, avoid overtrading. Breakout watchlist: RDFN, FIGS, CRNC, EGHT, RPD, NU, IMVT Current positions: CYH, IQ, CRNC Good luck everyone!

SPY forming a bull flag structure now, and still consolidating. That is a good sign. It has reclaimed the rising 10ma, so there is a chance it could break out this week, but the more likely scenario is we pull back to the rising 20ma to form a full flag. I'm expecting a couple more red days at least and then a bounce off the 20, which will be a great entry for some breakout longs. [SPY Chart](https://i.imgur.com/4sbSJ7D.png) Because SPY is setting up there are lots of individual stocks setting up as well. A lot of names look ready to make a big bullish move soon, but some more time is likely needed. Sector focus will be important here. Standout sectors: Financials, Semiconductors, AI Financial and lending names setting up: WRLD, TREE, NU AI setups: CRNC. More aggressive chart than some of the bigger names in this space. Some other flags forming: TBLA, EGHT, SSTK, RPD. Again, some of these need time and are not great setups just yet. Just some names to keep an eye on.

I bought a $10 call on EGHT that expires the 18th with a break even of $5.10 and it's at $4.75 after Friday's rally. I would love it if it went to $6.10 so at least I could make $100

Nah, if you look at the balance sheet, the $137m moved from the cash and cash equivalents, to the short term investments column. So total cash only went from $316m to $302m. I'd have to dig deeper to see what that investment is. But I know that they only invest in AAA credit investment bonds. So overall it is basically as good or even better than cash, since it is getting a better return on the cash they are holding. At current losses, the company could sustain for 11 years, and their debt isn't due till 2026 and 2028 I believe. They also can easily switch back to profitability, as the only reason there are losses, is because if global expansion investments. There is basically 0% chance of insolvency any time soon, unlike some of the others you mentioned. The main reason for the stock being so low, that I can tell, is just the overall market has brutalized both small cap tech, and communications stocks, which BAND sort of fits under both categories. Look at VZ, T, CHTR, RNG, EGHT, TWLO. Every communications stock is at or below pre-pandemic prices. Bandwidth is low float and low volume, and is just getting dragged down with the whole basket. I personally thick the stock is grossly mispriced, and people in for the long term will make a boatload at these prices.

I am going in for a play on a currently-undervalued Zoom competitor that has strong growth potential, mostly because of what companies it owns under its banner. They're also bringing on more people from competitors like Ring Central and, ironically, Zoom in upper leadership :: $EGHT

I’ve liked EGHT for many years, but don’t see any posts on here about it. Does the fact that it has over 100% institutional ownership mean anything? I just don’t know enough about any of this to know if I’m doing well or not. Anyone else like this one?

Sorry for the TLA (Three Letter Acronyms) Business to Business Business to Consumer Mobile Virtual Network Operator Mobile Network Operator Short Messaging Service (text message) 8x8 (pronounced eight by eight) is a US telecoms company (ticker NYSE:EGHT) I think most are hopefully clear, but to explain MVNO v MNO. An MNO is a network operator, in that they own the network. Rest from Wikipedia who are summarising better than I can! " A **mobile virtual network operator** (**MVNO**) is a **wireless communications services provider** that does not own the [wireless network infrastructure](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Base_station_subsystem) over which it provides services to its customers. An MVNO enters into a business agreement with a [mobile network operator](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_network_operator) to obtain bulk access to network services at wholesale rates, then sets retail prices independently" [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile\_virtual\_network\_operator](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_virtual_network_operator)

Art mentioned on the conference call that if the expected synergies are achieved on this first set of acquisitions that Post Road could potentially expand the credit facility to $40 Million. Anyone questioning the balance sheet needs to look no further than VG or EGHT (multi-billion dollar companies) -- they all start with massive leverage, then end up taking it out with either stock based deals or offerings on a bigger exchange. This is a typical rags to riches story, and Art is executing to a tee.

MS Teams current downsides (which you are prob not aware of, wouldn't expect most to) \- almost no security compliances: HIPAA, PCI, FISMA, FedRAMP etc \- no SLA on voice uptime and voice quality. Funny enough they had a major outage on Monday that encompassed Teams and AD. Last year MS Teams in Europe was down for days. \- very limited call directional capabilities on the back end: call queuing, call groups, call forwarding customization is barebones \- almost no integrations. what if I want my calls to automatically log in my CRM? tough luck \- International calling? Good luck \- No high end contact center capabilities: multichannel intercations (voice, live chat, email in one interface), voice analytics, Analytics & KPI alerts. With this in mind companies like RNG, EGHT etc have integrations with Teams to supply the missing pieces. Teams is Microsoft's 7th or 8th attempt at Enterprise voice...they don't have a great track record & have a long way to go. The collaboration and team messaging components are great however

My current portfolio: AMC, 2 units at $5.50 USD (yest. closed at $5.61); BB, 6 units at $16.76 CAD (yest. closed at $15.87); EGHT, 2 units at $35.60 USD (yest. closed at $35.83); GME, 3 units at $61.82 USD (yest. closed at $51.10). \*\*\*, 5 units at $11 CAD (yest. closed at $11.22); \*\*\*, 2 units at $48.64 CAD (yest. closed at $48.59); I confess, it's kinda boring (the asterisk-labelled stocks are those with too low a market cap to be mentioned). As a beginner, I have yet to go all-out YOLO on anything. Today, I'm not going to fuss over this. Instead, I'm going to do some errands. Also, I plan this weekend to do some [reading](https://www.reddit.com/r/stocks/wiki/index) to better familiarize myself with the concepts of stocks. Regarding the few GME stocks I've got, since I am going to be away from the computer, I set a limit sale of $100 for them. I doubt it will reach that today (or ever), but, just in case the price does unexpectedly swing up, I'd want to take advantage of that. Otherwise, I plan to keep them as a souvenir, since the GameStop saga is what first inspired me to show up here.
