Thoughts on $GLASF? They are joining NYSE on the 30th with the catalyst of Cannabis going from schedule 1 to schedule 3. Was thinking of going long on this through the end of 26.

Over 60% actually. TRLV is roughly 29% and GLASF is roughly 9% CURLF isn't uplisting until at least another 2 months have passed, and they need S3 for Adult Use so they don't have to deconsolidate their medical business.

Because they have real financials and good management who is financially and operationally literate/savvy. The cannabis space is a disaster but GLASF is actually a well run company in a space that stands to benefit tremendously if cannabis is federally legalized.

Honestly, when you anchor the comparison around fundamental powerhouses like Green Thumb (GTBIF) and Trulieve (TCNNF), the valuation premium on GLASF looks completely disconnected from reality. GTBIF and TCNNF represent the absolute gold standard of real, multi-state operational cash flow, yet the market prices them like boring value stocks while treating GLASF like a tech darling. On a Price-to-Sales (P/S) basis, GTBIF and TCNNF trade with strict institutional discipline at around **1.5x and 1.8x** revenue, while GLASF demands an eye-watering **3.0x to 4.7x** multiple—meaning you are paying double or triple for every dollar of revenue. The gap gets even stupider when you look at EV/EBITDA, where GTBIF sits at a crazy conservative **3.7x** and Trulieve is compactly priced around **5.4x**, while Glass House sits in the clouds at **18x to 19x**. It culminates in Price-to-Book (P/B), where GTBIF is literally trading below its book equity at **0.88x**, while GLASF stretches past **10x**. Investors are clearly discounting the retail-heavy, state-by-state models of GTBIF and TCNNF **to pay a massive premium on GLASF’s California greenhouse scaling, gambling that interstate commerce will unlock before its priced-for-perfection multiple snaps back to earth.** Also when you look at price action from past 6 months you see a clear disconnect from sector and imo is artificially propped up from lack of interest or lack of heavy short selling + other things, Glasf is up 82% while Gtbif is up 27% & Tcnnf is up 56%////// On march 30th you saw Gtbif & Tcnnf hit negative returns on the past 6 months from today, while Glasf was still up 23% on the 6 month chart. **There is no reason for a single state operator in the most saturated state in the USA to command such a premium over the best in breed operators of the whole sector.** On top of that, **GLASF First-quarter gross margins fell sharply to 25% from 45% a year ago, missing internal targets. Consequently, the company lowered its 2026 adjusted EBITDA guidance to the high $30 million range, down from previous estimates in the high $40 millions**, due to higher production costs and labor inefficiencies. The company issued a notice to redeem over 30 million outstanding warrants on May 28, 2026. Dilution for existing holders. I am bullish the whole sector but in no way will pay a premium for Glass house...... I am bullish tiers 1s & some smaller operators like MRMD, VEXTF, CXXIF, JUSHF, VREOF, TSNDF, AAHW

Glass House GLASF and GTII. Gtii IMO best balance sheet, business strength and branding. glass house because it’s the largest lowest cost producer in California, - some great diligence on GLASF by WAWD guys Vincent Daniel and Porter Collins

Doug is still pumping. "We have been aggressively buying $MSOS $GLASF $TCNNF $GTBIF and $TSNDF" "We expect rescheduling to be announced imminently. Cannabis investors have been taken to the woodshed and beat up over the last five years and even recently (despite the initial statement by @potus that he is recommending rescheduling)." I think his "confusion" at why anyone would sell on EO day is laughable considering he was first in line to sell, and was dunking on Twitter longs. For anyone new, Doug is a whale who periodically pumps and dumps this sector.

GLASF is setting up to break higher at anytime. It’s charted a flat base last couple months after hitting a 52-week high of 10.10 in December, with the all-time high charted two years ago at 10.50. The trading range during the flat base has dramatically tightened up, like never before, with volatility disappearing nearly entirely. The flat base is a bullish continuation pattern signaling high probability that the previous upward trend will resume. The stock has been working through a deep, much larger two year base. The recent test of the all-time high and now tightly consolidation in the flat base suggests this things rip to rip to new highs. The bigger the base, the more powerful the break out. https://preview.redd.it/las9lbrzzrig1.jpeg?width=397&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d3f4a8eb66b653431ec81c904d7275e77c5dd89

Yeah, it seems like selective swap hedging or custodial mechanics may explain it. GLASF has not been touched at all. I’ll continue to keep watching. They also just announced Alison Payne, Heineken USA Chief Marketing Officer, joining the board, though that’s probably unrelated to the months-long short neglect.

Shorts continue to neglect GLASF (up almost 1%) for some reason; I’ll be continuing to watch. Currently up on the day on very light volume (28,000 shares), with GLASF being 7% of MSOS. It seems that counterparty hedging isn’t as black and white as some project in here. Retail needs to do some DD for educational purposes into the swap structure, counterparty risk/hedging, and custodianship. There have been past deals that could affect familiarity between parties (not in a conspiracy or wrongdoing way). Ignored nonetheless for months now on low volume despite its “weight” in MSOS. Swap providers hedge portfolio exposure, not every stock proportionally.

\>how dependent they were on cheap labor in the first place I don't think that's the biggest problem with GLASF. All agricultural commodity production is based on either cheap labor or high automation. I believe all Cannabis cultivation will eventually be outsourced to third party commodity producers in optimal climates, while the MSOs/LPs focus on branding and marketing. The big problem with GLASF is they think unrestricted interstate commerce is imminent. I would be very surprised if we get it in less than 10 years.

GLASF *literally explained* the \~40% YoY revenue drop in their Q3 results by saying they *revamped hiring and staffing practices* after labor issues in mid‑2025, which led to temporary worker shortages and a planned reduction in planting and production. Their CEO said that scaling back production because of those workforce changes is why revenue plunged from \~$64M last year to \~$38M this quarter. Blaming that big collapse on ’staffing changes’ only highlights how dependent they were on cheap labor in the first place — and now they’re *publishing guidance* around it. That doesn’t look like responsible operational strength, it looks like a structural weakness being papered over. LOL maybe take the cheap illegal immigrant workforce tit out your mouth and this wouldnt be a problem

Honestly, you don’t need to speculate on Schedule 3 or other sector-wide narratives to be bearish. The one company trading at a huge premium......GLASF.........is enough......... negative EBITDA, 40% YoY revenue collapse and still priced like a leader, plus people act like downplaying the single most positive development this sector has seen in 50+ years is a winning strategy......good luck with that logic. edit: and for Swordfish who is too much of a coward to have discussions without comment blocking only to unblock me comment on the thread and re block so I cant reply formally. lol what a loser.

It's largely due to MSOS bias. The ETF has way too much power over how flows into the sector are divvied up. To give you an idea, YTD through Sept 30th, MSOS bought the following ($ cost is rough estimate based on avg price, but share count is real): 27,763,839 shares of $CURLF: ~$58,000,000 USD 6,664,172 shares of $TCNNF: ~$36,000,000 USD 20,667,716 shares of $TSNDF: ~$16,000,000 USD 2,308,623 shares of $GLASF: ~$14,000,000 USD 15,286,863 shares of $CRLBF: ~$15,000,000 USD 13,150,626 shares of $VRNOF: ~$13,000,000 USD And finally, 1,160,328 shares of $GTBIF: ~$5,800,000 USD Dan, $MSOS ETF manager, despises Ben Kovler and GTI, and prefers to buy just about any other weed stock other than GTI for that reason. Fundamentals be damned

r/weedstocksSee Comment

Literally couldn’t agree more on the topic of GTI. Another thing I find super interesting, is that compared to its peers GTI is trading at discount to relative to its peers. With the only exception being Verano, GTI is the most undervalued MSO. Verano is undervalued for good reason, there finances are a mess and if reform doesn’t happen soon they are in trouble. I personally would have thought GTI should be trading at the highest premium, for best performance and balance sheet by a long run and a safe place to park your capital. Apparently the market favors crippling debt and expansion over actual profits. But then we have GLASF that is the most overvalued MSO because they have a good balance sheet. Make it make sense lol It’s fine the market will catch up one day. I have never been more confident about this sector than I am now.

Robinhood listing is great but it doesn't solve the root issues of custody, volume and liquidity. GLASF is still traded OTC and is on the CBOE Canadian exchange instead of a major US uplisted exchange such as the NASDAQ or NYSE. Being available on another big brokerage like Robinhood is great, but it's not any different than buying GLASF on fidelity or schwab OTC which US customers were already able to do. We need these stocks to be traded on the NYSE or NASDAQ to see TLRY-level volumes and trading activity

r/weedstocksSee Comment

GLASF being on Robinhood is HUGE news...Hopefully, the other MSO's follow soon. Can someone confirm if there is any additional fee being charged? Would be cool if Robinhood lets you trade these for free, and causes Schwab to drop their silly $6.95 OTC charge, similar to them causing the other brokerages to drop trading fees when they came on the scene.

I sold all the $2.50 weekly calls I had at end of today - was buying with a gamble Friday and loaded more at end of day yesterday - not a recommended strategy. I saw Canadians showing strength and believe that MSOs are most always laggards to the Canadians when it comes to movements based on financials/earnings. I pretty instantly had sellers remorse because MSOS looks ready to move. Glass House GLASF closed strong and reported strong earnings after market close today. I'll be keeping an eye on the GLASF bids tomorrow open, and of course GTBIF and TCNNF since they drive MSOS.

Weed stocks are deep value now. I'm personally for prohibition, including alcohol and tobacco (also hold PMI) but there are some great cash cows, companies value at 2x cash while being profitable and even some literal net nets. Even companies with no US exposure (or only the options to use it) are beaten down (giving those options huge negative value!) But somehow jokers talk about things like Tilray... How many people here choose stocks based on brand loyalty, how many are actually going through financial reports? I've been buying TOKE, GLASF, CRON and a little SNDL. They don't need legalization to prosper.

Stocks closer to their 52 week high than low (above mid-range) OK looking at our Schwab account I have a watchlist full of cannabis stocks that I follow so it's easy to see which are performing better in their 52 week range. These are the stocks that are above the mid-range between 52 week-lows-highs in share price - all others I follow are below mid-range. I've arranged them in order with IIPR being the closest to their 52-week high. You've experienced less pain this last year and maybe even made some good money if you have had these in your portfolio. Currently Vireo Growth & Trulieve are in our portfolio. Innovative Industrial Properties, Inc. (IIPR) - very close to their 52 week high Glass House Brands Inc. I agree it's a stock with a hearty amount of pump. One holdup with a large producer is when the wholesales prices drop like they did last year to all time lows (like under $400 / pound of weed, crazy). I am surprised by GLASF price action, perhaps it's just the pumping working? I like Glasshouse product, great quality and good price point from a customer perspective. I don't like the fundamentals or strategy too much, but I can't argue with price action - i'd say it's one of the leaders in that category.

[Latest on GlassHouse](https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/glass-house-brands-commences-cultivation-in-greenhouse-5-at-the-socal-farm-877117627.html) I'll take GLASF. You can have columbia care or cannabist or whatever they are this week. There's a reason they are a takeover target. They have some nice licenses they do nothing with. They're garbage. I don't make my investments based off of Twitter personalities.

Isn't the root issue with the CA licensed distributors- the "discount distros" ? Or is it that everybody knows what's going on and are looking the other way because it's good business. Is $GLASF being singled out here because of their volume. After reading it just seems like those/that distributor/clearinghouse is knowingly selling to illicit customers. Almost as if they are all complicit in a humongous everybody look the other way set up. Not jumping to the defense of anybody here but why are the distribution/clearinghouse centers permitted to operate? Advance thanks for any insight.

GLASF has some real PR magic that brings in articles. I don’t believe in the business much band am surprised to find so much pumping on that name. Producer in Cali with greenhouses that are too large to manage proper production imo. Greenhouses cost money to operate as well, so if the wholesale cannabis prices really jump, maybe their business model will become more attractive. Seems like good old boys sharing and buying mostly. Scary

Aaron was a big supporter of AYRWF and GLASF. He gave John Sandelman a platform to lie and deceive his shareholders (retail). Though he has a pleasant disposition, understand that he's complicit in the actions of these companies. Their goal being, take retail shareholder money and give it to insiders and management. I'm sure Aaron gets his cut along the way.

Moral of the story is. Always do your DD. GLASF looked attractive to me, and I'm sure they are positioned well to make money, but that dirty cap table speaks for the valuation and price of the common stock. If something looks too good to be true, do some DD and find out if it is actually a good investment. This sector was my first forage into investing and I've made mistakes and learned a lot. Knowing how to read financial statements and look at the cap tables is the most important skill a new investor should learn.

$GLASF looks like a terrible investment for retail. They have Preferred Series B and Series C stock that pays out 20% dividends, basically diverting cashflow to VCs who funded those Series rounds. Common stock ain't worth shit with this preferred stock draining the cash flow through dividends. https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/glass-house-brands-announces-the-final-closing-of-the-series-b-preferred-stock-offering-fully-subscribed-at-50m-866989068.html >Holders of the Series B Preferred Stock will be entitled to an annual dividend at a rate of 20% for the first two years after the date of initial issuance of Series B Preferred Stock (the "Initial Issuance"), 22.5% for the third year and, thereafter, 25% until the 54-month anniversary of the Initial Issuance. The dividend will accrue and be paid quarterly with an annual amount equal to 10% of the initial investment being payable in cash and the balance of the dividend being paid in kind, accumulating and compounding on a quarterly basis until paid; provided that if the Series B Preferred Stock remains outstanding after the 54-month anniversary of the Initial Issuance, the annual dividend shall thereafter be payable solely in cash at a rate of 20%

I never comment here but the above is spot on. After bottoming in September the canna market has bounced a little. I'm up 60% on GLASF already since then. I have been in Canna stock since early 2020. It's been a legislative trade since then. IF Safe it passes, THEN it's time to buy to front run the institutional ownership with uplisting coming in 2023-2025. I hope this is the last cycle for the legislative trade. We are about to find out. One caveat, If it's added to the NDAA, that's good. If Safe gets added to the omnibus spending bill, no bueno. Safe Act must be the NDAA or a standalone bill. It will not get to Potus's desk.otherwise. That means 2024 and another cycle low.

People sure pump the GLASF (not accusing anyone here, mostly twitter), but I haven't seen convincing evidence or the investment thesis to date. They grow weed in Santa Barbra - cannabis at it's lowest wholesale price ever, while santa barbra cost of living is top top in the united states. IDK, someone show me the numbers to like GLASF and I may turn around and pick some up when it hits $2.25 again.
