Hey Logris! Autopilot currently targets ETH-denominated Autopools, focusing on correlated trading pairs that provide LPs with correlated exposure to ETH and, under normal circumstances, should experience very low impermanent loss (IL). When ETH LSTs/LRTs deviate from their backing, this usually occurs due to temporary liquidity crunches, after which discounts are typically restored. With this in mind, there is no IL protection mechanism on Autopilot. However, our automated system will trim positions if one of the pairs starts trading at a persistent discount. Rewards allocated to the incentives campaign were acquired with treasury assets. The incentives APR will continue to decrease as TVL inflows rise. Ultimately, Autopilot's value proposition comes from external sources of yield, making it sustainable even in the absence of TOKE incentives, which are meant to bootstrap Autopilot.

1) Tokemak v1 used to insure against IL. Is there a similar mechanism in Tokemak v2? > Autopilot's current fee structure consists of a 20% streaming fee and a 0.85% platform fee. 2) Can you explain these fees and where they go? What percentage of these fees are TOKE stakers eligible for vs going to fund development? 3) TOKE used to be one of the high-inflationary tokens and I attribute the 99% price drop to that design. Today I still see the autopool APR is dominated by TOKE. What's the current inflation rate and is the inflation still greater than the revenue?

Tokemak - It was clear after a while that USDC and ETH reserves were draining. I explained for a system that is trying to have liquidity, it needs USDC and ETH reserves. I brought this up multiple times in the discord that it was dangerous and won't turn out well, because at the time the system was bleeding more rewards to volatile pair tokens instead of subsidizing USDC and ETH deposits. Their value was dropping and the system needed to stop supplying rewards to every other token but them to boost the amount of available liquidity, otherwise USDC and ETH deposits would simply leave the system. I explained this pretty nicely on team on discord while still being nice about it, and was banned from the discord. I sold every token I had at $38 after months of farming at a massive profit. While it ran up to $60, it now sits at $0.35 because that's pretty much exactly what happened. Available ETH and USDC sits at around $10M, probably deposited by the team itself. They're probably on vacation while people in the discord are circlejerking "1 TOKE gIvEs yOu $7 oF lIqUiDiTy dIrEcTiOn", probably sitting at a 90% loss from top. Enjoy the losses.

I do but I stopped using ETH because I ended out spending over $1k usd on fees for what turned out to be a $200 investment after fees. ADA has a lot going on and after djed drops end of June, we’ll have top quality defi. ETH fees are better now a days, but still $25 to instake my TOKE coin… I don’t have enough ETH to exchange that toke for ETH lol. The fee was $35 the other day and I’m hoping it drops so I can do my trade. Moral of the story I am happily exploring the new ADA defi platforms with low fees and never lose my fees due to failed transactions. Their speed will be top tier after June. Lfg ADA

One solution provided by Tokemak is to use the protocol’s native token, TOKE, to absorb this risk. Investors only need to supply liquidity such as Ether to one side, and TOKE holders will provide TOKE on the other side to pair up with Ether to create the ETH-TOKE pool. Any impermanent loss caused by the price movements in Ether relative to TOKE will be absorbed by the TOKE holder. In return, TOKE holders take all swap fees from the LP pool. In this single sided LP pool, where is the upside for people who deposit ETH in the pool? If they aren’t collecting swap fees, why put into a LP?

So glad Ribbon is getting the price action it deserves. Been accumulating this one and expecting price to rocket once the Curve tokenomics are set in and liquidity mining starts in the options vaults. Seriously guys, on-chain options are going to be massive and Ribbon Finance is the blue-chip Ethereum Options vaults. Would not fade the token now. Yep. I hear ya. The archaic tax law tries to fit crypto into a mold. It can get messy fast. If you find a way around it for true eth staking though let me know. I am aware of opportunities to ‘stake’ eth in various protocols for a return but it’s not a true eth stake. (Tokemak has a single sided eth staking contract that rewards you with TOKE tokens for example)
