I did a DD on them; you can search the thread. In my opinion, INDI will be a 10x multibagger in the near future. Their systems will be used in the robotics industry and possibly in data centers. They have a photonics business within their company, which is currently worth more than INDI's entire market capitalization. So, in my opinion, it's worth investing 10% of your portfolio and waiting for the coupons to start rolling in.
I bought $INDI today because it has photonic products. I also bought $KOPN yesterday and today - ยฃ45K. Suddenly it announced another $21.9 million follow-on contract! Up 8.28%

Interesting, thanks. iโm definitely bullish on tech and semiconductors in general, but Iโm just not sure how I feel about particularly semis in the automotive industry. I like INDIโs big backlog, but I guess Iโm more concerned that a big player could easily come in and push them out.

Obviously like any stock pick of a small cap there is risk of significant upside or downside. INDI is being hammered due to the convertible notes and large funds hedging by shorting. The price action seems to point towards possible buyback of short positions and could move to the upside with any positive catalyst. Same could apply for the downside. Time will tell.
$INVZ and $MVIS still have better tech and are a way better value. You seem determined to pump this stock OP. Why is that? You know that car ADAS is NOT the future, right? If it was, all the cars would have it by now. The tech has been on the market for 5-10yrs. If $INDI canโt pivot to another industry, they wonโt survive.

Reminds me of $INVZ or even $VLN, but those are Israeli. $LAZR has this type of tech but $LAZR was a shitshow and their IP got acquired by $MVIS. Itโs in my watchlist and Iโll be buying some Monday. I can see something like INDI finally becoming profitable and catching some eyes. It's a laggard in the semiconductor sector, for good reason, but has been working towards profitability. It's one of those stocks in my port I never look at being down so much on it but once in a while I think to myself I should add because I do feel it has that potential.

Photonics are wild sci fi shit. Things like INDI say, "what if we can eliminate car crashes?" NVTS says, "what if we use a more efficient material for semiconductors". POET? "What if use LIGHT instead of electricity?" ๐คฃ That is up there with bionics for me. If successful, it would likely change the entire world. My conviction for longterm usually comes from a futurist view, how will tech advance 10 years from now? 20? Things like POET are spot on with my views
Been loading up on INDI for about 2 years now. When it starts running, I think it'll run hard
INDI, NVTS. INDI - Extremely comprehensive ADAS R&D, just needs to hit profitability and land a few big contracts and it will at minimum double (previous analyst estimates marked it ~13$ once profitable, currently sitting around 5$) NVTS - If they make a few more breakthroughs on GaN semiconductors, they will gain contracts with literally every Mag7, the biggest perk of GaN semiconductors being heat retention, meaning lower power usage. Hyperscaled Data Centers + GaN chips? Power dilemma solved.
INDI - long term value pick or too speculative to pay attention to?
INDI exists 2-3 degrees from main tech sector. They keep focused on R&D and contract wins, establishing a pretty signfiicant backlog for being such a small cap company. They are pretty fragile so even the degrees of separation they have impact them when Mag7/SPY/QQQ have action. Constantly gravitate between 7$ and 2-3$. I have more than tripled my investments in them
If you can compare them on revenue -- eg, similar sector & margins & growth -- then INDI does look like it's trading much higher. But... ECX is a Chinese company? Even Chinese cash-cow businesses trade much lower than their US counterparts. I remember Munger buying eg, BABA, because it was so cheap (based on comps). Shortly afterwards, the CCP disappeared Jack Ma, shut down their huge deals in progress, and made life incredibly difficult for these businesses. It was one of his biggest mistakes. China is a big risk factor here, and it'll probably be reflected in the stock price. Though I'm a little biased. Foreign companies going public in the US, instead of trading via ADR, feels like money-grabs to me. Just some quick thoughts. I don't know anything about these companies, and I'm not making any price predictions or recommendations.
