Missiles need to be replenished after conflicts and these conflicts are the things that make the morons in govt say oh shit we need even more missiles for next time. Glancing at LDOS itself right now... low p/e, low forward p/e, good p/s, good p/fcf, stock is in oversold territory... need to dig a little more but I'm interested.
I told yall to buy the dip on ENTG. Next runner will be LDOS

LDOS is severely undervalued right now. Just a matter of time before the Algos switch back on or enough volume flows in for them to cover
They are all pulled from DoD website. [https://www.war.gov/News/Contracts/](https://www.war.gov/News/Contracts/) Full details of the contracts are: |LDOS|$10.5B|DoD IT, intelligence systems| |:-|:-|:-| |BAH|$7.5B|DoD consulting/analytics (new awards post-Treasury cancellation)| |BWXT|$5.6B|Naval nuclear propulsion ($1.4B May 7 alone)| |PSN|$1.3B|Infrastructure/engineering| |AVAV|Ongoing|Tactical UAS (Switchblade, Puma)|
Been following some of these defense names for while now and this data is pretty solid. LDOS especially caught my attention since those congressional selling patterns stopping is usually good indicator something brewing. The timing with all these contracts dropping June 8th definitely not coincidence. One thing I learned from tracking defense stocks is that mid cap ones like these tend to have more volatile moves when contracts hit compared to the big boys. Your backtesting confirms what I've seen - LMT and RTX barely move anymore on contract news since everyone expects them to win everything anyway. But these smaller players can really pop when they land something significant. PSN looks interesting even without the political buying signals - that T+90 performance in your data is pretty compelling. BWXT worries me bit though with that low hit rate on longer timeframe, might be more of quick swing play. Defense sector overall has been getting lot of tailwinds lately so timing seems right for this kind of strategy.

Goin full reegard on LDOS...make the automoton boat that picked up our airmen
LDOS ? Sembra a sconto
I feel like there is value to be found, $LDOS for example popped up for me recently. Same with $DOX and $SAP. Not flashy but I would argue they are good value at the moment.
Yeah, we have $LDOS on our radar
LDOS needs to fall to around 129 before it can rebound.
Add LDOS to the baggie value trap list pls
Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) reported Q1 2026 results: $4.40B revenue (+4% YoY, +3% organic), net income of $335M ($2.56 diluted EPS), and Adjusted EBITDA $614M (14.0% margin). Non-GAAP diluted EPS rose to $3.13 (+5% YoY). Leidos completed the Entrust acquisition, raised full-year guidance, declared a $0.43 dividend, and ended Q1 with $48.4B backlog and $6.3B debt.
u/_hiddenscout, do you have any perspectives to share on LDOS? Seems to have pulled back some - is this a decent entry point?
Smart money rotaing out of BagholdVDA and into LDOS and PLTR
In an event of an attack fundamentals will matter a bit less, lol. CHRD is a clean play though, zero middl east exposure. In general in oil sector refiners will probably have a mixed reaction, depedening on crude access. Tankers will enjoy a rates spike because of disruption in Strait of Hormuz disruption . Defense stocks go up, may be RTX, LDOS, PLTR . I have XOM, HAL, SLB, HON, MSFT, MCD all having subsidaries in middle east but not sure how much they would be impacted. But whatever it will be , will be negative. All the susbidaries I have for CHRD are 100% in US
Anytime! The best thing I could find/think of is that CACI and LDOS takes because of the combo of market conditions and PSN/AMTM earnings. PSN/AMTM are peers and report missed. Not uncommon for peers to move on earnings reports from other companies.
Why'd LDOS drop so much today?
These aren't exactly small drops, if you are talking about the large defense companies sure it could be seen as a small correction because they weren't hit as bad, but for the smaller contractors, they took a big hit. SAIC down 16% PSN down 14% BAH down 12% LDOS down 12% CACI down 9%
I think some are from PSN earnings. Like LDOS and CACI probably selling probably because of it. Also AMTM missed their earnings, so wonder if there is some fear in the names.
LDOS down 10% on NO news?
March 20 Calls on LDOS at 185.00 and 195.00 please wish me luck.
LDOS calls for next week. And who knows, maybe 🥭 bombs something for the holiday.
Of course, LDOS, the only thing I’m looking to buy is green
PLTR RTX LMT LDOS RHMBY calls
Great company, don’t own. Solid run this year so far. There’s some other names in the space sector that are profitable and a bit under the radar. GHM, ITT, FEIM, CW, ATI, CRS, BELFB/BELFA, LDOS, AMTM, MOG.A are few other names to play space/defense with companies that are profitable.
Just bought some TOI last week. Always rad when you meet people that own the same stock lol. Creeme owns it as well. Yeah, no idea. Like a software engineer, I can kind of see some of the issues, with stuff around like head counts and what not. I do think the market is kind of over reacting, but I'm less confident about this situation as I was about like DOGE. Last year, I was pounding the table for names like LDOS, AMTM, and CACI as great buys because of the DOGE fears. This is a bit different and I do think software will end up fine, just you have to have that framing and conviction when holding these names. It sucks, but mr market is driving the narrative around it.
Yeah, PSN is one i watched but never bought because of the fundamentals. I own LDOS. LDOS and CACI where the two I was looking at, especially last year with all the DOGE news.
Here is a list of names that have space exposure that are generating profits and should benefit from any space boom: ITT, GHM, FEIM, OSIS, MOG.A, LDOS, AMTM, CRS, ATI, CW I post more in the daily and have been posting about these names for years, including RKLB.
Np! Yeah I did a lot of research into the sector, since I'm pretty bullish on it. There's other names too if you want more like defense/NASA stuff like AMTM and LDOS. However, names I listed above fall into aerospace with space exposure. Most of them are all like niche names. Like I love MOG.A for example. It's a boring name and pretty much no one will ever talk about this company, they are pretty under the radar. Valuation isn't too bad and you get a little dividend on top of it.
I own all of the above. I post way more in the daily thread. Also feel free to look at my post history, i'm always sharing anything interesting I'm thinking of buying or think might be a good buy. I pretty much screen daily and basically just a GARPy investor. Just bought some THR this morning, was hoping for more of a pull back, but I own a ton of niche industrial and aerospace/defense names, but their performance wouldn't fit what you are asking for. Also bought some TOITF as well, since I think some of the fears of software are overdone and it's kind of buying into market fears. I was telling people during the DOGE days to buy into some defense names like CACI/LDOS, since the DOGE fears were overblown. I might be more wrong on software, but it's a bet I'm willing to take.
Oh I agree, I longed LDOS hard into that lol
LDOS is such a good one, I remember you and I talking about it near the worst of the government efficiency selloff last year what a slam dunk since then
GHM, FTK, LDOS are some solid winners for me.
Breath in, limit buy LMT, RTX, NOC, BA, and GD Hold, calls KTOS, AVAV, LHX, HII, LDOS. Breathe out, “bring the rain.”
LDOS is the 5 sided palace golden child.
Depends on the company. I'm holding LDOS and planning on holding as long the company still continues to perform well. I also own some other defense names, but they are more equipment based than stuff like LDOS/CACI/
That sucks. I'm red overall, but at least have a few winners, but all earnings report related: $LDOS is doing well from their report this morning. $KKR is probably up because of $APO report. $STRL is up from their report yesterday. $SMID is probably up from $GLDD's report. $SHGC is up from their report. Also have some big losers too: $UBER, $RKLB, $SHLS, $PRIM are all down over 5%.
$LDOS Leidos reports Q3 EPS $3.05, consensus $2.72 -- Q3 revenue $4.47B, consensus $4.28B. -- Ups FY25 EPS view to $11.45-$11.75 from $11.15-$11.45, consensus $11.58. -- Backs FY25 revenue view $17B-$17.25B, consensus $17.19B. -- Raises FY25 adjusted EBITDA margin view to high 13% range from mid 13% range.
Agreed easiest add to LDOS ever this year.
Some solid returns on these companies that got hit hard because of DOGE. I think LDOS and CACI are now like up over 30% YTD. One of the easier calls of this year was buying into that fear.
I’ll try to actually answer your question. Typically in the past, the market hadn’t been affected unless it lasts over three days which this could. I bought VIX calls yesterday and I bought 10 GLD 350C 10/3. I trimmed half so I am on the houses money. IWM and tech could be vulnerable due to the administrations support for them and how their fingers are in so many pies from AI to chips to crypto. Then their are the news effected tickers. Services short (BAH/SAIC/CACI/LDOS/MMS): (headline-sensitive). But simply VIX and GLD but know, MM’s are already priced in.
Fuck, I need a ticker ….. Usual suspects are all overpriced so hard to make a single bet : BAH, LDOS, CACI, NVDA, PLTR, etc.
Is this a sign to buy GD, LMT, NOC, RTX, LDOS & SAIC?
$LMT, $RTX, $NOC, $LDOS, Maybe $SAIC I'm currently a fan of the leveraged ETF $DFEN, I only see defense spending increase as it always have, and while Palantir is well positioned, their valuation is too ludacris. Russia's economic situation seems to suggest it won't stop at Ukraine, China has been eyeing Taiwan, I imagine since the strikes on Iran that won't be the last we hear from them, United States seems to be isolating itself more and more and losing the good will of allies internationally, suggesting a stronger reliance on hard power instead of soft power. international defense companies are a good bet too IMO. And if we don't engineer ourselves out of the climate crisis, resource scarcity is likely to cause more tension. That's reason alone for me, but if you're really looking for that X-factor to beat the market: [https://x.com/UFOB\_/status/1746144076385132829?t=jvX54tjV1HaKtRkUEIMLgw&s=19](https://x.com/UFOB_/status/1746144076385132829?t=jvX54tjV1HaKtRkUEIMLgw&s=19) [https://www.askapoluaps.com/p/exclusive-nancy-mace-says-on-contractors](https://www.askapoluaps.com/p/exclusive-nancy-mace-says-on-contractors) [https://www.democrats.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/majority-leader-schumer-and-republican-senator-mike-rounds-floor-colloquy-on-unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-provisions-in-the-ndaa-and-future-legislation-on-uaps](https://www.democrats.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/majority-leader-schumer-and-republican-senator-mike-rounds-floor-colloquy-on-unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-provisions-in-the-ndaa-and-future-legislation-on-uaps)
There are two public projects for quantum navigation the only publicly trade one is LDOS+FEIM project where LDOS funds FEIMs resurch and FEIM keep and rents the IP when it materialize
Don’t really follow $VOYG, but they don’t make money yet, so it’s something I normally wouldn’t buy KTOS is more of a trading tool than one I want to invest in. Fundamentals are too expensive for me, if you want to hold long term, I’d rather buy stuff like AMTM, LDOS or CACI. If you want just pure defense, ESP, TTMI or OPXS.
The chart on BAH looks terrible. I'd probably wait. LDOS doesn't look terrible, but AMTM looks way better because it got so oversold after the spinoff.
I do wonder if BAH and LDOS are worth buying again here or not... First bite of the apple worked well for me dont want to get greedy
I think LDOS has some exposure. [https://www.leidos.com/markets/aviation/air-traffic-management](https://www.leidos.com/markets/aviation/air-traffic-management) Same with LHX and RTX [https://www.l3harris.com/all-capabilities/air-traffic-management-atm](https://www.l3harris.com/all-capabilities/air-traffic-management-atm) Not sure about CACI, but they also do like modernization.
There were others that I didnt bite because I felt like the price was already high ish, like rtx, bieing, LDOS and LHX. Zena is supposed to be one too. Out of my full list, everyone except zena and rtx are up today.
LDOS *was* a good stock held them from 2020-Nov5th. LDOS, BOOZ etc are all in the same boat. Their margins are going to suffers as the gravy train slows. Still a good company imo
Solid man! I'm only at like 2.85% for the day. Only names red for me on the day so far are PLMR, LDOS, ISSC.
All depends on how the market acts in the 1st 1-hour but my attack list includes these names: DKS UNH LDOS NBIS
Was pleasantly surprised LDOS beat earnings and up about 2% today. Wish i bought more back in FEB
$LDOS perking up, was a decent Q the wholedoge selloff in def contractors I should have slammed way harder in hindsight it was all free money pretty much everywhere CACI, SAIC, AMTM, LDOS, BAH
Haven't been following to close, but will be interesting to see what they are saying about business. Also as a LDOS holder, hoping for some good news. CACI had a nice pop after their earnings.
LDOS and DOCN for me before the bell tomorrow, feel pretty good about both here which is bearish for sure
With the DOGE victims recovering now, I'm going to look into starting a position in PSN. Wish I held LDOS but I'm happy I grabbed AMTM during the downturn.
I nibbled some more LDOS today, CACI looked solid cant imagine LDOS isnt gonna have a decent Q
Yep. Still wish LDOS caught more of a bid, but nice to see some of the defense names looking stronger.
Of course. Always do your DD before buying anything. I'm a big fan of finding like under the radar names. Here's the latest investor presentation. CLMB might be in that niche for you. [https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/\_c5410dadd945c04b39bbe3b34aeda531/waysidetechnology/db/849/8034/pdf/CLMB+Investor+Presentation+-+March+2025.pdf](https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_c5410dadd945c04b39bbe3b34aeda531/waysidetechnology/db/849/8034/pdf/CLMB+Investor+Presentation+-+March+2025.pdf) If you looking for some other suggestions, things to check out, you might also dig EXLS. They are more consulting business, but they offer things like modernization for companies. LDOS is kind of the same thing, but more on a government contract level. CACI just reported, same kind of concept. Not cheapest name, but DOCS is another software name for the medical space. More of hardware play, but PSTG is interesting at these levels. CLS is a hardware play on data centers, but not bad at these levels in terms of fundamentals and what you're getting at the price.
Nice I'll take a look at some of those, I hold LDOS already and used to hold RKLB
There are few companies that will get you some exposure. For a smaller name ITT has some business in the aerospace market. [https://www.itt.com/our-solutions/aerospace](https://www.itt.com/our-solutions/aerospace) Since I can't list the names, here are two small cap companies that are extremely interesting: [https://ir.freqelec.com/static-files/4ae8baee-4fc6-4eb8-8acf-1cb274e0ebd7](https://ir.freqelec.com/static-files/4ae8baee-4fc6-4eb8-8acf-1cb274e0ebd7) [https://s201.q4cdn.com/767782554/files/doc\_presentations/2025/Mar/20/MPTI-Sidoti-Investor-Presentation-March-2025-FINAL.pdf](https://s201.q4cdn.com/767782554/files/doc_presentations/2025/Mar/20/MPTI-Sidoti-Investor-Presentation-March-2025-FINAL.pdf) \^both those companies will get your components in satellites and other industries. Not satellite, but some aerospace/defense names: CRS [https://www.carpentertechnology.com/aerospace](https://www.carpentertechnology.com/aerospace) AMTM/LDOS both are defense names, but have exposure to NASA contracts. [https://www.amentum.com/our-capabilities/space-systems/](https://www.amentum.com/our-capabilities/space-systems/) [https://www.leidos.com/markets/space](https://www.leidos.com/markets/space) If you really want to get more expensive speculative names KRMN just went IPO, they do like hypersonic missiles and other systems, kind of like RKLB [https://karman-sd.com/hypersonics-smd/](https://karman-sd.com/hypersonics-smd/) TTMI is a small company that does circuits for missiles and data centers, those are like 70% of their total revenues now. [https://www.ttm.com/en/markets-we-serve/aerospace-and-defense](https://www.ttm.com/en/markets-we-serve/aerospace-and-defense) I can keep going on and on. Been really nerding out on some of these names, since I just find the companies really interesting.
I bought more LDOS the other day. I'm willing to take the pain with some of these names, just feels like it's odd how we are looking at a possible 1T budget for the military and no one wants to buy these names lol. I've been nerding out on so many smaller defense/aerospace names of recent. There is pretty wild interesting names out there.
LDOS and AMTM are pretty strong today, feeling extra good if elon is gone from gov soon as well
I bought some ISSC and LDOS.
