A russian agent, set up as the president of the united states could not have done a better job. Ending US hegemon, depleting missiles stock, weaken the US military, force other countries to stop buying by american MIC, strenghten Iran, giving Iran proof that they always can blockade the straight whenever they want.

Iran already won, because they have the US by the balls exactly due to this. What's the US gonna do, send some 10-20k people to die in the desert again? It's blatantly obvious since the beginning the US has had no intention of actually reaching a deal. It just wants the appearance of attempting for its allies and it's domestic image. Well, Eisenhower was the first to warn us about the MIC. It's pretty well-documented at this point. There is an unholy union between US politics, the military, and industry. Yes, my main gripe is that there is no transparency - contractors are just presumed to be more efficient than the public sector. So we have private businesses considered vital to the national defense who can basically charge whatever they want.

The money goes mostly to defense companies and private mercenaries like Blackwater who are serving as advisors. Ofcourse a lot of money also flows to the oligarchs in Ukraine (let no one fool you that only Russia is ruled by oligarchs!). There is leakage in armament too where many of them will end up in the hands of militias, warlords and rogue nations. It is in US MIC's interest to see this war last as long as possible to make up for the lack of orders the last decade.

Meh, it's marketing for the MIC. Fear sells. China/America conflict = cheap Chinese real estate. That is if you don't mind the craters and stench. It's a mismatch and gyna knows it. They're not interested in a conflict with America, not over Pelosi anyway. Maybe to stimulate their floundering economy but not this. Too many factors work against them. They don't have the resources, they cannot produce oil and food in abundance, they lack the alliances, the tech, geographically they're immediately fighting a war on 2 fronts or most importantly they don't have the experience. America is a battle tested and hardened fighting force that will turn entire cities into rubble, from air conditioned trailers in North Dakota while separated by 2 oceans. It's all overblown. Taiwan is china's boogyman. Constant propaganda over there about it. Blah blah blah but they never do anything. So when a high ranking American official legitimizes Taiwan to the world Gyna is backed into a corner and has to put on a show of force. Otherwise they'll look weak at home but look silly to the West.

Chances of war ending are pretty correct, but you people are delusional if you think Ukraine can win this. Ukraine lost the war in the opening week. They're done and this war is being artificially prolonged by the US to give the MIC chance to make some money. The only way for the war to last for a long time is if NATO puts boots on the ground which they won't do because they know they would lose. They can send a million HIMARS and they wouldn't make a difference because there's no trained personnel to operate them. Ukraine retaiing anything, much less Kershon is a ridiculous proposition. And even if they got close to doing it, the Russians have their hypersonic arsenal that's capable of completely obliterating any large military grouping, including any NATO naval group. There's no defense against these weapons as of yet. If some of this bullish sentiment is riding on the idea that Ukraine can and will win, then you can bet that it's a bull trap of epic proportions. When Ukraine decides it had enough and cedes 50 percent of its territory and 80 percent of its industrial capacity to Russia, there may be a huge dip in the stock market. This is likely to happen this year.

Lol, no, the divisiveness is fomented SO nothing has to be done. If you have everyone arguing about abortion, identity politics etc. to the point where you convince a lot of people that it is imperative that you vote for their party then the "two parties" can happily find consensus on doing nothing about climate change, support the MIC, be pro-business, anti-labor etc. The "two parties" agree on much more than they disagree, but they have enough fuel for issues people are passionate about to stop most people from noticing.

You asked me a question and I gave you my answer. All this could have been prevented if retail investors did there research, all of it. Tuition sector was known to be exploiting Chinese citizens and against MIC/Xi's goals. Gaming was also a known issue because of how exploitative gaming industries have been in China. E-commerce? Trading? Either way, I've already told you if you did your research, you wouldn't be concerned and one step ahead of the rest. You can make money going bull or bear. Look at the U.S. stock marker and how much its dropped. Look at the examples I gave previously in my 2nd post of questionable regulations. Refer back to the examples given, JUULS just happened. What about the cannabis industry? Again, what about AMC,GME, MEME STOCKS, SPACS, and predatory mergers? I don't care to convince you, I truly don't. I need people like you because you're the easiest to take money from, the last to buy in, and the last to sell out. You don't have to do what I do or think how I do either. I'd rather you not because then I'd have to find a new strategy. I gave you enough information, if you're going to question me do more research and truly reflect on my previous posts before doing so. I am willing to go further if you do this if you genuinely want to learn.

> "slightly". It's night and day mate. Tesla interiors are appalling quality compared to other cars in that price range. Especially the S, and especially compared to the Taycan. To say the difference is small is laughably ignorant at best. As for build quality, you can look up all the owner stories online of things breaking, falling off, and of course the dreaded panel gaps. Sounds to me like you're going off outdated information from a few years ago. Yes, Tesla's interior used to be terrible, but the MIC cars are a lot better than the Fremont cars, and Giga Texas and Berlin seem to be another step up. Also the refresh Model S is already clearly better than the old one, despite still being made in an outdated GM/Toyota factory. You can dislike the minimalist interior design (I'm personally not a fan), but that doesn't mean it's bad quality. > Porsche are among the best when it comes to build quality. Also, since you got desperate enough to mention vegan seats, Porsche also offer vegan leather... Which I guess indicates how much you know about it, as if the build quality comment wasn't the red flag. Fair enough, I didn't know Porsche also has that, although the fact that you said "offers" makes me think you probably need to pay extra for it. I don't see how mentioning how a seat is good quality despite using vegan leather is desperate though. > You're probably not going to listen to any of this, so atleast don't be arrogant and ignorant enough to think you know better than almost every car reviewer out there who admits the Taycan blows the S out of the water in terms of luxury and quality. I'm definitely listening, otherwise I'd just be wasting my time. I'd be careful relying on car reviewers and/or car media though. They're almost always sponsored, which Tesla doesn't do. That said, I already agreed that Porsche on average has better interior. I'm sure the Taycan meets these standards since it's such an expensive car, although it doesn't apply to all Porsches. For example, I drove the Macan Turbo for about half a year and it was one of the worst luxury cars I've ever driven, both in terms of comfort and interior. > Also are you talking about the S vs Taycan? Because you should be. Who would compare the 3 to the Taycan?? The S starts at £74k here, and the Taycan at £84k. Hardly a huge difference in price. And given the significant benefits I stated I'd say the Taycan's premium is justified. I was talking about the top of the line models. Although I'll admit after Tesla's price increases the Taycan is only ~50% more expensive. > Yes Tesla has better battery tech - that's well known and they've been developing it alot longer than anyone else. But like I said, thea difference in the real world for that tech, day to day, isn't noticeable. 99% of people won't benefit from being a few milliseconds faster, and 95% won't benefit from having a few miles further range. Everyone notices the Tesla being twice as energy efficient, since it saves you about $5-10 on every charge, 2-4x that if you're supercharging on the road. And no, most people won't benefit from a few miles further range, but everyone benefits from having 350 miles range instead of 200. And indeed, most people charge overnight, but being able to charge everywhere without worry and in shorter time, is still a huge advantage for most people. > Also I'm not sure where you get terrible software from? From experience. I've driven exclusively Audis, Mercedes and Porsches my entire life. My father still drives an Audi and the software is terribly outdated. It's like using a resistive touch screen when you're used to a capacitive touch screen. My uncle still drives a top line Mercedes and he recently cancelled his OTA update subscription because the experience was so horrible, despite being offered the subscription for free by the Mercedes HQ. The only car that had somewhat decent software that I've driven that wasn't a Tesla was the Polestar, and even that one was clearly a big step backwards from Tesla.

the thing there are a couple rules to the game Russia forgot. 1. Democracies can invade dictatorships, not the other way around. Just a pattern of what the international community will look the other way on. 2. What you can get away with id directly related to your soft power. Russia ain’t had it like that for a while. Saber rattling is not soft power. 3. Winning the conventional war is important. Or at-least not looking like a Joke. When the US invaded Iraq, Afghanistan or even Nam. They were able to equip, supply, and deploy troops thousands of miles away. And they did not lose the conventional war, they got sick of losing troops to an endless guerrilla war. (Not defending the MIC or imperialism, this just why sometimes people complain but no one stops doing business with the US) Russia can’t take territory effectively in a country that borders it. That’s not a super power to be respected and feared. Thats a tin pot dictator who gets hit with the sanctions stick.

Little unfair comparing Australia to Ethiopia for economic purposes. Australia is one of many recipients of MIC exports. "reappropriating the funds used for the MIC" is the "millennials just need to stop eating avocado toast" of budget plans. The "defense" budget was, what, $800B last year? Out of total spending over $7T, on tax receipts of like $2T. Our biggest problem isn't the defense budget, although as far as I'm concerned we can cut it by 90%. The biggest problem is the rest of the 4T of spending

"This generation" being the 3 generations after Boomers, all of whom have ALSO said we need to increase the taxes on the Boomers and need the Boomers to stop spending like it's the Cold War. Reappropriating the funds used for the MIC into the country itself instead of the pockets of war profiteers is what's being asked for.

> Are you joking? Tesla quality is rubbish. The quality was top notch, but MIC cars are better than the US made ones, so perhaps you saw one from a different factory. > Interior design is awful. Perhaps you're talking about the looks, which is subjective, but from a functional perspective the Model Y was by far the most spacious and comfortable car I'd ever driven, and I used to drive exclusively German luxury cars. > 1 big tablet as display is just a joke. That's subjective, but I personally believe this will age like those people saying a touch screen on a phone is a joke and that you need tactile buttons (I was one of them)

Haha yeah, you'll be able to keep to 3 for a lot longer probably. Since you're using km and euros, I'm assuming you live in Europe as well, in which case I would most definitely wait until the Model Ys sold over here are coming form Giga Berlin instead of China. Berlin will have a ton of huge improvements over the MIC cars, like the structural battery pack and the singe-piece casted underbody. Should do a lot for performance as well as (production) costs.

> The roadster 2 was announced the first time in 2011 and set to be released in 2014, it is still not out. That's not really relevant, is it? It makes sense for Tesla to delay it when it would come at the expense of the company's growth, and my point was simply that Porsche was always going to look better because it's a sports car. > Don't think you have ever driven the Porsche. Their quality control is on a different level. Not the Taycan, but I've driven many Porsches and from what I gather online, the Taycan has worse quality control than Porsches ICE cars. Also, I don't think you've driven MIC Teslas. :P

That's not even the Model S plaid, nor is it the top model Taycan. Of course if you take a slower version you're gonna get better range. Also, Teslas have a lot more range left at 0% charge than Porsches, so the comparison isn't even fair. I do agree the Porsche looks a lot better, but then again it's a sports car, not a sedan. You'd have to compare it to the new Roadster for a fair comparison, where I think the Taycan still looks better but the Roadster looks pretty cool as well. In terms of interior it's a matter of personal taste. I prefer the classic Porsche luxury look, but there's no denying Teslas are a lot more spacious and have that futuristic look that some people enjoy. If you're talking about comfortability, there's nothing like Tesla's chairs. As for the quality control, that's fair for anything coming out of Fremont. MIC Tesla's have comparable quality control to Porsches though and I expect the Teslas from Berlin/Texas to be even better.

What's everyones thoughts on $MIC ? will it boucne back?

r/stocksSee Comment

Perhaps, but it also had a serious negative effect. The amount of people that truly believe any or all of the following points is staggering: * EVs have a serious risk of catching fire when compared to ICE. * EVs take hundreds of thousands of miles to be CO2 negative when compared to ICE. * EV batteries cannot be fully recycled. * FSD increases risk of accidents. * Tesla's build quality is worse than other automakers' EVs (this is a tricky one, because it used to be true and for the Fremont Model 3 still is true when compared to legacy ICE cars, but legacy EVs have the same issue and Fremont Model Y and MIC models are already better than legacy ICE) * Musk pumped BTC and Doge for his personal profit * Musk pays almost no taxes. I could keep going for a while, but all of these legacy media talking points have definitely negatively affected Tesla's demand. It just hasn't affected their sales yet because the demand is still (much) higher than their supply, but at some point in the future it will have a negative impact. There will undoubtedly still be people believing this 3-8 years from now when Tesla might start to become demand constraint.

r/stocksSee Comment

You're living in the past. Tesla's Model 3 from Fremont is still subpar, but the Model Y and especially MIC models are on par with the rest of the industry, and the cars from Berlin/Texas are expected to have superior quality. And it makes sense. When you're ramping a product that's so good that you're heavily supply constraint, you don't want to be focusing on perfect quality. You want to sell as many cars as possible as people already want them with poor quality control. Now that they're heavily profitable, they can start focusing on quality. That's just common sense.

It's the past. There is no "the price" there's only the spread and the past. Someone paid $373.91 but that doesn't mean everyone selling is willing to take $373.91. Tap the little question mark beside "Market price" in the apps or Robinhood's website and you'll get a little box that tells you that what you're looking at is the last execution (the past) and gives you the spread which shows the best prices anyone is willing to buy or sell at in real time. The codes like XNAS and ARCX tell you the source of that piece of data by the venue's MIC. The past is only good to get an idea of recent directional movement. It's not 'the price' you need to place limit orders against or one you should expect your market orders to execute near. Look to [the spread](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bid-askspread.asp) for that. (And with the volume of $NFLX, you're not going to ever sync two devices well enough to grab the exact same last execution price consistently. Orders are executing at venues hundreds or thousands of times a second during market hours and you might not even be looking at data from the same venue.) Now, if the spread is being reported differently from the same venue at the same exact **exact** exact time, that's a problem.

The only good way to make money off of wars is to invest in something related to the MIC and even then it's not a good idea However, almost everything takes a dip when a new war breaks out. Then it returns to normal in a few days or weeks. Same with disasters in general. The world goes in shock, doesn't know how to respond and then chuggs along. Point is, when you see bad news on TV and you can't do anything about it, you might as well buy the dip. And if you feel bad about it, donate some of the profits to the victims of a disaster you can do little else about. It requires the ability to shut off your moral code or at least be able to enter a morally grey area, but it is also somewhat profitable to exploit people's feelings like that. People panic and sell. But the world goes on and in honesty, shit will be bad regardless of your actions. But of course you need some capital to engage in that and that's where I've been falling short since I'm always like 95% solid when shit happens.

> They’re also the highest costing cars to insure, so much so that Tesla started their own insurance lol. This was true at the time, but nowadays Teslas are pretty comparable to other brands in terms of insurance prices. Insurance is also only a small portion of the total cost of ownership. > Tesla also has the worst Initial Quality rating as well, so I’m wondering how these studies were quantified. This is also no longer accurate. MIC Teslas have comparable quality to other ICE cars, and much better quality than legacy automakers' EVs. And the Berlin and Austin-made Teslas will be even much better. Also, poor initial quality doesn't cause any costs for the owner. It's mostly just some panel gaps that cost nothing because they don't need to be fixed, or things that are restored under warrantee.
