Wrong. Stop normalizing this magical thinking. Trump's ANNOUNCED speech from a few days ago was approved and endorsed by those in his administration who are equally detached from reality. In that speech he said "were here to help" and a few sentences later "we will burn it all to the ground if need be" or some shit like that That wasn't a tweet, it wasn't a backhanded snarky comment at a reporter's question. It was the OFFICIAL and voluntary statement of the White House as an institution, addressing its people. The PR people helped trump craft that statement. And they were okay with it. I didn't see any mass resignations you know. After all, what's a few little "surprises" as he calles them when talking with Japan's MP in a country of "insert di-humanizing word here" gonna do to threaten the US? They've done it before you know. I mean the US is not stranger to oblitration of civilians to end a conflict. The problem is that most of the Greenland projects people read about are either very early stage or controlled by private / foreign companies, so there isn’t really a clean “Greenland exposure” ticker you can buy on a US exchange. Because of that most investors who want exposure to the theme end up going one layer broader — things like rare earth or critical minerals producers instead of Greenland specifically. So you’ll usually see people looking at companies like MP Materials, Lynas, or broad critical minerals ETFs rather than something Greenland-only. The Greenland story is interesting geopolitically, but from an investing standpoint the pure-play opportunities are still pretty limited right now.

Dateline had a substantial gold resource - I don’t think MP’s Mountain Pass mine has that. Dateline also has a major strontium mine project in the works and just acquired the Music Valley heavy REEs property that may prove to be a major find. So Dateline’s California mining projects may eventually surpass the Mountain Pass mine by quite a lot.

I tried to play options on news. Bought USAR once the government took a stake in the company thinking it would skyrocket the share price the same way it did with MP and Intel. Currently down 90% on the options I bought and down 40% on the shares. I'm done every trying to play news 🤣 that was a very costly mistake. Options do have until May, but I'm not holding my breath that things turn around. Just gonna hold and accept my fate since theres no point in selling them back for $50 when they're already down almost a thousand each

??? It's down 3%. MP is a strong company, it had a pretty big EPS surprise. As Barron's stated "profitability is impressive". The fastest way to go broke in the market is to expect the market to act in a binary way. Nothing is black & white, good vs bad. Everything is grey and nuanced. I like MP as a company, but I stayed out of the earnings play because while I felt it would be weak and might fall, there was more than enough conflict in that assessment to keep me from putting on a trade. It is not just about the numbers. Or it is, but it's not.

Other Rare Earth compeny, $MP, which already in production, but the Market Cap is only $10B. I can be $16 to $30, Could be $50 depends on if there any trade war or more Gov investment, but wont be $250 this year.

I like your optimism but 50x isn't realistic. Current DTREF market cap is ~775 million. For comparison MP, the owner of the Mountain Pass mine just south of Colloseum, has a market cap of ~10 billion. 50x would mean Dateline would jump to almost 39 billion market cap. That's nearly 4x what MP is worth. That said DTREF does look like a good play and potentially a 4-5x bagger.
I'll take what Carney's done since April over the single bill that PP brought into law over his entire career as an MP.
