I was going to invest in MP but now I'm considering inversing Reddit after reading this post
MYR would be a publicly traded company who installs power. My immediate thoughts on power is you want to find areas in a supply chain where there is a bottle neck. For example, transformers. That market is pretty saturated because everyone knows that transformers is a bottle neck and the stock prices have surged greatly. If you look at the next wave that is coming, it’s robotics (based upon NVDA investments and forecasting). So if you look at some bottle necks with robotics that aren’t yet fully discovered, you have interesting plays on magnets (MP, USAR) Or Ouster - which does the vision for robots but is the only company that allows robots or drones to see color at scale. Ondas is interesting as all foreign drones have received 100% tarriffs. You just have to be careful about dilution with some of these. If you want to stick with data centers, Iren is about to get their data center builds under contract - with Microsoft taking contract in October, November, and December. They are also building a hyperscaler in TX and have secured land and power. It’s trading at around $40 - where its main competitor is further along trading at $200. Seems like it has room to run.
Fair point, I picked up some of those for my son today actually as he just has a couple of grand to invest. I’m hoping these 5 would beat that index though, with a focus on the monopolistic businesses but I don’t know how much of VGT they’d make up. MP probably the only one with real 5 bagger potential but I’m hard placed to imagine a reason why the others wouldn’t at least double in 5 years and more likely triple.

AI spits out any genre, it has no specific bias on any specific genre, just whatever its trained it's model on, which is a metric fuck ton of songs in the most dubious, legal grey area that needs to be dealt with. MP3s compress, they do NOT compress that much. It would have to be a copy of a copy for those artifacts to show up. Why use something other than Suno? If it can get the job done in a matter of seconds and all you have to do is pay for their premium service to publish it, why even bother with another service?

There is truth to that. In my field many companies bring in large components for the equipment they are building and they calling it made in Canada when 80% came from China. I have complained about it to my MP's as they tell me to diversify and do work for Canadian companies, but they are bringing it in at almost half the cost. We have to look in our own back yard. But our suppliers are telling us to always lower the cost, so you need to use low cost countries. An average car will cost 70k before you know it.

Hmm, (IMO) it depends whether you feel that you have benefited from the nation. If you feel that you recieved value from that nation, you should (again my opinion) be willing to do a little service for them. The nation service doesn't have specialties? My Greek friend did his nation service in an Engineer unit and he said it was valuable experience and opened doors for him after service. Another Cypriot friend did his national service as an MP and then joined the police. My country doesn't have national service, but I did a 10 year enlistment. It's really not that bad, you might even find that you enjoy it. Since room and food comes out of your salary, you can invest everything you have left.

honestly, I think any that are producing in the US will be good. I've got TMC right now. I'm kind of banking on some asymmetric growth with their ability to scoop up nickel and other rare earths just sitting at the bottom of the ocean. USAR should start rebounding soon. MP is another play there as well. I'm long on the leveraged junior minors ETF as well. That should be pretty hot over the next year I'd guess. Commodities are going to be hot, both due to inflation as well as the demand the AI bubble is putting on them.
I have had huge composting bins where I have had millions of soldier fly larvae which are also edible and have a TON of room in my property to start farming insects for consumption. But, I wasn't looking into mass producing them for either consumption or sale. It was mostly as an alternative protein source that didn't involve hunting at the time when I was actually considering doing it at a small scale, mostly for educational reasons and to open up to it. As I said, I'm not particularly excited about the project, but want to gain knowledge and remove the yuckiness early on so when things do get tough, we could survive on them. My biggest issue is my wife and daughters were comfortably raised here in Australia and they're all princessy and irked by everything. Having lived all over the world and seen how people truly are has opened my eyes and made me really get away from cities. We live on the edge of the bush in a semi-rural town and I've gotten my house all sorted for being fully off grid now with 3 different sources of power/cooking/transport, have built community both in the neighbourhood, am friends with farmers, I have a huge seed bank, and the town at large where I'd say at least a few thousand people know who I am and see me as a good leader (I organised a team that helped a hundred families after a disaster, was on the news, MP said he would engrave my name in the records of parliament, etc). All these considerations of bugs and grubs was about 8 years ago when I first started to look into prepping. I sorted out my property fence after the disaster took it out and now a bunch of wallabes get into my backyard at night. I already bought a few snare traps or could literally just wait them out and just club them in the head when they peek into the fence lol. I have never hunted an animal, but know how to do it if I need to. Same as with the bugs and grubs. I have looked into it and if we have to eat them, we will.
I think MP can be the next multibagger: it combines rare-earth mining, refining and finished NdFeB magnet manufacturing, making it a leading integrated U.S. magnet player. Robotics, actuators, drones, defense, EVs and turbines could drive massive magnet demand while U.S. policy favors domestic supply.
