MTLS is a much better company than DM and most importantly it is profitable
Bullish on 3D stocks, ticker symbol DM, MTLS 🚀 LETSSS GOOOOO~ 💦💦💦 I like the stock 🍌
ADSK for sure but VJET and MTLS intrigue me
Hey /u/CranberryCurious8262 - I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: MTLS. We don't allow discussion of low market cap (less than 500mm) tickers to prevent pump & dump spam and scammers.
she is at it again...Cathie Wood's ARK active ETFs bought 112K shares of EXAS and 26K shares of TSLA. Conversely, the firm sold 21K shares of MTLS and 7K shares of ONVO
So calls on FATE and MTLS...
It seems like the crowd is split here so ima just double down and buy both calls and puts on the meatless stew stock $MTLS
I suppose you're right, I do have shares in ADT and MTLS as well but a lot of my money is in Gold and Oil
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, MTLS. The market cap of MTLS is **804445200** This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad keywords/phrases. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that.
OK but seriously $MTLS is worth a look? Its a premier 3D print service (not just one of dozens of OEMs) that is very competitive and high quality (personally used them many times). They report earnings early March. Stock is outperforming market daily since PRLB (protolabs a good comparable in that they both have major service operations in Europe and US) beat earnings and has gone up 20% in about 6 trading days . This company makes money and is undervalued!

PLBY, PSLV, MTLS, actually feel fine with the last two, been trying to get called out of PLTR for months
Big jump last year(jumped almost to 80) was also after Cathie loaded up on MTLS. I am not familiar with NNDM but doesn't look like they anywhere near where MTLS is wrt being profitable.
It looks like it is a company similar to PRLB and MTLS but not as established. I wouldn't say the current price is a bargain, but I can see your argument. I'll check on it PM. Thx for the heads up.
You should look into Materialise (MTLS), it's very promising
MTLS with the badonkadonk blow out Them earnings sticking out, I gotta walk around it
MTLS price is down to pre pandemic level & was profitable for Q2. CRSP $10.54/share for Q2, blowing past analyst expectations. Bullish these two stonks.
MTLS, KTOS, BFLY, AVPT are my 4 big losers.
I'm actually going bankrupt on SHARES ffs... seriously how retarded do I have to be to lose on shares! Not even options. God I actually hate investing, all it does is cause stress. Im angry at the stocks I missed, I'm frustrated at the stocks I hold and I'm disappointed that I was naive enough to think I could actually pick winning stocks... KTOS, MTLS, AVPT, BFLY, PLTR, VRTX, JD seriously what the fuck was going through my mind when I bought these shit piles? Oh I remember, I was trying to copy that whore Cathie.
But I'll lose the 26% gains I've made... even if it goes 100% in profit it will eventually go back down. I was 135% up on MTLS at one point, didn't sell cos "Buy and hold" mantra and now I'm -25% lol.
MTLS with the blowout beat, thats hot
We all have positions we know deep down are hopeless and we shouldn't keep adding them to but you just can't help yourself right? MTLS (3D printing shit stock) is my achillies heel.
I knew I should have just bought the index instead of stock picking. Every fucker on the Internet told me just buy the damn index and don't try to pick winner. So what do I do? Try to pick winners. KTOS, JD, BFLY, PLTR, AMD, MTLS, AVPT fuck my life, aside from meme stocks I don't think I could have picked worse...
I only have 13 stocks in the green out of 48. Thanks to 4 purchases this month ! SSOF ,+ GMER + NLST + DPLS. MMAT + MTLS + BSQR 35-55% down.
Permanently bankrupt thanks to Cathie. JD, KTOS, MTLS, BFLY wtf was I thinking, more to the point wtf was she thinking...
SOFI ....Check it out today! Hit a bottom yesterday- likely ready to finally take off. MTLS ...for an under the radar rebound (3D and Medical Software)
I like SSYS, they have some of the most revenue in the 3D printing space. They do aerospace printing. And the price is very low... So I went with SSYS.. next favorite was MTLS
SOFI If ppl stick with SOFI ... it may take 4 or 5 days, but it is going to have a big jump soon. MTLS is another to checker out (3D and Medical software. 2 recent upgrades. Currently all Buy ratings and $37 Price Target.... Price now is $24.
What’s your favourite stocks here? Thoughts on MTLS and stratasys
Should have big rebounds incoming- all well off year highs and already bottomed) DM (Chamath backed 3D Printing) MTLS (3D & Medical Software) XL (EV - and infrastructure) PTRA (Biggest potential beneficiary of the infrastructure bill.. EV Busses)

Might want to watch MTLS. They just issued at 24, I'm not touching it until it hits 10, 15, 20% off the issue price, but it's on my watchlist. Couldnt find the underwriter price but the 30 day rebuy period is set at the public issue price of 24. It's around 22 currently. PLNT and TSN both look poised for a short term turnaround but I've been buying the dips and it just keeps dipping. So tread lightly on these.
MTLS and VRTX fucking me bigly. I think there's a good chance MTLS goes bankrupt in the next year. If there's 1 rule everyone needs to follow, it's that you NEVER invest in EU companies. 99% of them are dog shit and the 1% that are good, the US has better.
I'm no expert, as I'm just learning about investing and how the markets work BUT I've been pretty heavily researching bio-printing technologies (3D printing skin and bones and other organs). It's a technology I was fascinated by 10 years ago when I heard about it on NPR, and now the tech is finally coming to the commercial markets. I expect it will take a little while, but CLLKF is poised to make a big break. They provide printers and proprietary processes to tons of major research universities and have a contract to provide bio-printed skin to health and beauty companies like Johnson and Johnson. They're sitting on a jillion patents and you can literally get your own natural bones 3D printed in San Diego RIGHT NOW for a bone graft in your jaw. Those who know, seem to think the sector is going to grow a lot in the next few years. CFMS looks like another wise choice in that space, and MTLS is positioning themselves to be a main provider of the machinery and hydrogels necessary when bio-printing becomes a really common procedure. I'm a poor person so I don't pick my stocks lightly (and frankly, I can't afford a lot of the safest bets that I like). But I have all my picks checked by a loved one in financial analysis and I guess this wasn't a bad choice. 🙂
They also did massive 4x share dilution at the end of 2020. No thanks. It’s like beating a dead horse. I do think MTLS will have a rebound next week, I opened a position when it dipped 22%.
Got dumped on by MTLS yesterday -18%, got dumped on by VRTX today -10%. So this is how it ends huh? Every position I have is gunna end up -90% this time next year cos "investing". I thought these were decent companies cos Cathie invested in them but I guess not.

I am currently in MTLS, a 3D printing stock, which is trading way below it's 52week high, recently dropped another 18% due to a share offering. But looking at their fundamentals I didn't find any reason for this extra need in cash, will be interesting to see which plans they have with this extra cash.
It's an old company that still isn't making profit though? They're gunna run their share price into the ground by the looks of it. I'll be interested to see if Cathie dumps the rest of her position or if she buys the dip, but she ain't been buying MTLS at all through this correction. Lesson learned, if a company isn't American or Chinese, don't fucking buy it!
MTLS fucked me hard. A Belgium 3D printing company, what the fuck was I thinking...
MTLS reminded me why I or anyone else, should NEVER invest in EU companies. They don't give a shit about their share holders, they just wanna get rich themselves through stock dilution
MTLS down 18% today cos the company decided the shares were worth $24 instead of $30... Cheers guys really appreciate it.
My watchlist, been waiting on 3D printing, MTLS and DDD may be doing just that The only moment that's interesting is what makes your target so high? ~ malarkish ----- [^^Info](https://github.com/trambelus/UserSim) ^^| [^^Subreddit](/r/User_Simulator)
Which chart? My watchlist, been waiting on 3D printing, know from experience MTLS only moves 2% up at open on big days, knew about the sector divergence between stem and chpt. Qs was just a bottom call. VUZI got lucky with momentum
Everyone’s favorite energy storage spacs (that are no longer spacs) are getting ready to run. STEM bounced hard, the other two likely will follow. In 3D printing, MTLS and DDD may be doing similar but I don’t trust them because volume is always so low
MTLS - Bought it around 40 and held through the top at 87 , doubled down at 50 and now I'm sitting on a -50% position. Still plan on holding long term
MTLS avg vol is 285k and ARKK has 4.6 million shares. Puts.
my May expiry MTLS leaps became dog shit when the stock jumped off a cliff

MTLS is one but there’s a long list of them
If I hit 50% gain and I have more than 1 of the option, I sell one and ride the other one closer to expiration. Otherwise I sell most leaps by around 90 DTE. If the technicals look good and I’m down 20% or so on a leap then I’ll keep it past the 90 DTE in hopes that it spikes and I hit break even. These are my general rules, but sometimes I play things differently. Playing things differently example: I had a single MTLS May $55c that I bought in the early december dip. It kept climbing and by the time the stock hit $70 I thought there was no way the call would ever fall out of the money, so I was going to keep it for a bit. I was up $2k on that single call at its peak. Then 3D printing stocks pooped the bed and now I’m just bagholding hoping to break even. It tends to have big ups and big downs so if the market turns back around I’m hopeful that I can recoupe some loss.
You think that's bad? Look at her MTLS position, she's been selling it non stop since August.
I mean... just look at that MTLS dip and try to tell me it isn’t the play
I believe 3D printing is the future and MTLS has been around for quite some time with solid products and sales. I’m also in DM (which took a similar beating in share price) and thinking about getting into the AONE spac
Bought MTLS on the dip because that’s one hell of a dip
Little bit concerned that MTLS is quite a large position in my portfolio and it's dropped 60% and Cathie still hasn't bought any more shares. If a 60% crash ain't enough for her to buy more then that makes me very fucking worried.

what the fuck MTLS is nearly down 70% in 2 weeks... That must qualify for a flash crash right?
True, although I'm thinking that's because MTLS had an incredible run up and she was trimming back her position to rebalance or something. It doesn't seem like she was straight up dumping the stock. MTLS is still ranked 50th across all the funds. That puts it above companies like NVDA, TSMC and others but admittedly a few positions below BEAM. I might scoop up some BEAM when I have funds available.
All 3D printing stocks dumped bigly... MTLS dropped 65% in 13 trading days.
I’ve had long call options on MTLS and AWK since November so you could say I’m living the dream right now
I have a few shares in MTLS, but I keep eye-fucking NNDM too.
CRSP, MTLS, and a bunch of other ARK pump stock that are censored here have been dropping 40-50% in the last month. Even AAPL is down 10%.
I'm about $5 away from capitulation and selling MTLS. What kind of stock loses 60% of its value in 12 trading days? Seriously Cathie wtf are you playing at buying companies like this...

16th Feb 2020 +122% profit on MTLS. 3rd March 2020 -10% loss on MTLS. How is this even possible?! Did the CEO get caught raping a dog or something? I have never seen a stock that Cathie is invested in go -60% in 12 trading days.
Cathie isn't always right guys, MTLS which was one of her core holdings in ARKQ is down 57% in 12 days. If it can happen to 1 stock in her portfolio it can happen to most of them. Watch out.
MTLS is down 57% in 12 trading days... The stock is actually crashing isn't it? It will be back to March lows this time next week if it carries on.

what are the thoughts on Materialise (MTLS) and why stocks are plummeting? from a quick glance, the company has just become profitable
>Materialise NV (NASDAQ: MTLS), a leading provider of additive manufacturing software and of sophisticated 3D printing services, today announced that it will release financial results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020 on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 6:30 a.m. ET/12:30 p.m. CET. look at MTLS performance during past few earnings. Stock price craters the day of, and usually the day after, then rebounds to ATH's. It's also worth noting that the stocks ATH before covid was $20 - and I cannot see how covid has doubled the demand for 3d printing companies. It's a good company but very volatile stock. Im thinking of buying a few shares after earnings if it dips to 30 or under. You do you.
Anyone else holding or thinking of buying MTLS? Or am I the only one stupid enough to hold this stock? 🤡
Anyone else holding or thinking of buying MTLS? Or am I the only retard stupid enough to buy this stock? 🤡
Of course not. I didn't buy MTLS to hold for a 5 year time frame to make a measly 100%. I'd buy an index fund instead.
I actually can't believe I was up 122% on MTLS and now I'm back to 0%. What a fucking joke of a stock. -53% in 2 weeks for literally no reason other than the overall market went down a bit. Jesus Christ Cathie sure knows how to pick the most volatile fucking stocks ever.

MTLS daily RSI lower than it was in March crash. 11 red candles in a row. -50% from all time high. Is the stock dead? Cathie is wrong? Not sure what to do... Looks like it could be going to $0?

I feel like I'm the only person in this sub who's holding KTOS and MTLS... Not sure if that makes me a retard or a contrarian investor.

u have to see his positions man, dont just say things like 5% off aths take a look at his position in MTLS, it makes sense that he says all of these because he invested in positions that are back to where they came from, now 5% off aths like u mentioned
Guys I don't know how to reconcile losing 5 months worth of gains in 8 days. I didn't trade on on emotion, I bought the dips, I held through the ups and downs. Everything you're meant to do I did but I'm back to break even on MTLS. 5 months of time wasted, 5 months of buys wasted. I don't expect parabolic upwards moves, but I also don't expect to be punished for following the investing rulebook to the fucking letter.
