Good question, and I don't have good answers for pricing in general. I just know from experience that PH and especially the last 30 minutes or so the market moves farther than the expected move a disproportionate amount of the time. Take today for instance. At 3:30 the SPX ATM straddle was priced at $7.50 which means options were priced for a 7.5pt move on SPX. If you sold the straddle you were paid to take on 7.5pts of risk. In that last 30 minutes, SPX moved 16pts which completely blew out said expected move. You don't want to be an options seller in front of that steamroller. SPX ended at 6083 I think. I'd bet the 6080 calls were extremely cheap at 3:30, selling them would have been a nightmare. In general, my advice would be to not be short gamma in power hour.

Honestly, the last 30 mins is probably the worst time to trade spreads. So much blowout risk on underpriced options. Also, instead of trading 1000 $1 wide spreads, trade fewer wider spreads. Same risk but lower comms fees, faster spread decay, and some management options although it's hard to save anything that's 0dte when gamma comes for you in PH.

If the 3.33% dividend of SCHD isn't enough, you could supplement with some SPYI or QQQI Honestly though you're gonna be bored as shit lounging around doing nothing for 9-11 months out of the year in PH...I would also look into an online side hustle

I understand the skepticism when you look at their numbers. A $56 million cash burn against $800,000 in revenue does not look great at first. If approved, not only does it open up an entirely new market for LungFit PH, but it also unlocks a large cash payment from an international distributor. When you combine these factors the end of litigation payments, product improvements, growing customer contracts, and pending cash payments it is clear the company is taking the right steps to turn things around. You can see it in the earnings call going back to 2020. You can see the differences in the calls. The investors in the last 2 calls seem a lot more hopeful than in the last. And so do does the CEO and CFO.

Depends WHEN you buy. Stock market looks pretty rich to me right now, I would mostly wait until mid-May. If you spend only 5-8k on individual stocks instead of an ETF you should be okay, mix energy, industrial, consumer, finance, resources and tech. Look at lesser known stocks like PH, MUSA or MKL which have solid fundamentals and track record, or stick with better known ones like V or JPM, all safe.

Deere, Caterpillar, Doosan... everything from agriculture to large mining equipment. Clients prefer to stick with and only use one supplier for sourcing, so I don't think they will be going anywhere, but I'm still surprised that they've been growing so much. I thought they would be a really good dividend play.

Do the math - Add up India/Pakistan/Bangladesh and the desi diaspora and it's 2+ billion. Add up China/Taiwan/Singapore and the diaspora and it's another 2 billion. That's over half the words population. Plus like others have said, desis have more children than the locals where they migrate. These are also very endogamic peoples who in my opinion are quite obsessed with being desi or Chinese and have no desire nor pressure to assimilate to the host culture. A host culture needs common values. Look at all the heterogenous states that failed - Ottoman Empire, Austro Hungary. Meanwhile in India, China, Thailand, Phillipines many foreigners arent entitled to land ownership. In China you don't own the land, only the building with a 70 year lease to the land. In PH you have to be married to a PH citizen and I believe the same for Thailand.

There is a DD on a different subreddit from 4 years ago that lists the upcoming Trevena compounds in their development pipeline. Surprise, surprise, the same compounds are still in PH1, per their website, and may not make it to PH2 at this rate (average progression through PH1-PH3 is 5-7 years, with a majority in PH2/3). This is just as 50/50 as any other biotech.
