Sure is. If you look at the linked comment, it's in the replies there. **I am still optimistic**, for a few reasons. * Phase 2 test results were positive, but slept on imo. * I don't think people outside the SCI community understand the tangible improvements made to the trial participants. * Part of this is because the results primarily showed off 9-hole peg test results, and other benefits (better bladder control, ability to feel temperature, reduced fatigue, new pain \[exciting if you have no feeling\]) were not a part of the study. * The day after they announced the dilution fundraising they also [announced](https://nervgen.com/nervgen-announces-positive-independent-blinded-biomechanical-gait-analyses-demonstrating-genuine-neural-recovery-with-nvg-291-in-phase-1b-2a-connect-sci-study/) positive, blinded, biomechanical gait analyses demonstrating neural recovery with their drug - and statistically significant improvements at that. * Advanced Approval is still possible from the FDA and would be the biggest positive catalyst. * [Last year](https://nervgen.com/nervgen-pharmas-nvg-291-r-demonstrates-significant-functional-recovery-in-department-of-defense-sponsored-preclinical-models-of-traumatic-hearing-loss-and-peripheral-nerve-injury/) the US military did research using the drug for hearing loss, with positive effects on rodents. * There are [other potential applications ](https://nervgen.com/pipeline/)to the peptide beyond spinal chord injuries. Their current pipeline suggests it has application for treating strokes, MS, and Alzheimer's. Beyond just the drug itself, I think even the negative moment suggests something interesting. * [The dilution](https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/nervgen-announces-pricing-us-60-032700893.html) / raise was for $60 million USD ($2.50 compared to the $1.91 as of tonight) with warrants for more (at $3.58). * The day it dropped 44% (the 22nd of May) there were 12,000,000 shares traded. * Even today it was nearly 1,000,000 traded. Another -4% down though. * I figure the shorts are continuing to put pressure on it. * For context, average volume for this stock is \~40-100k on a busy day. 100x the normal volume implies to me bigger players were involved - for every sold share is a bought share. The shorts made a killing, but someone's also got to be buying these shares and given the negative reaction (and the fact this happened while most people were at work) from retail, I have to presume it's insiders and bigger players. Notably, SEDI reports seem to show Adam Rogers seemingly getting warrants (he is the CEO), and John Ruffolo from the board of directors buying common shares (50,000 of them) afterwards. I've always been bad at reading SEDI reports of insider trading, but suggests to me that at least for Adam compensation is wrapped up in how the company does, and he has (or has the right to) \~10.8 million shares. Beyond that, the value of the company is certainly >$160 million. I think $1B could one day be somewhat conservative for the market value. $300 million isn't unreasonable either - it was there literally two weeks ago. It's tough to put into words. I'm optimistic, but I'm also sad it got so battered. I'd buy more if I had the cash, but I already own 14,500 shares myself (averaging $4.19 US for 10k, $2.90US for \~5k), a small portion of which are on margin. Regardless, worth your time. I'm not going to talk anyone into investing, but I'm willing to wait and gamble with my own money on this one. I just... I just have a feeling about it, and generally my gut has been correct. (Funnily enough, the day before it dropped I thought "gosh maybe I should just sell it all." and waved it off as me being stupid. A message from the deep I guess.)
The primary market for this drug is actually SCI (spinal cord injuries causing paralysis), but the underlying mechanisms is preparing damaged nerves. There are no drugs on the market that restore the central nervous system. If this drug works for SCI then I don’t think it’s a major leap to suggest it can improve the lives of ALS, MS, Stork, or any other disease where the CNS is affected. This is why I think it’s under valued. It’s a long shot for sure, but if it works it’s my 10,000 X moonshot.
Can recommend looking at Nervgen Pharma (NGEN). They just diluted their shares to raise cash for their phase 3 study of their drug NVG-291. This drug can restore nerve damage in people with spinal cord injury (SCI). They are fast tracked for FDA and their results from their phase 2 trial are insane. They are selling at a 40% discount right now, and I don't think we will see a price this good again. Beware, this is a biotech company, they don't have revenue and their fate is decided on their drug becoming FDA approved. NFA
Gotta increase my SCI holdings
No I had SCI. Not bragging or anything. Not sure I was downvoted. I have heard of it taking longer for people.
It’s tuff , because I was getting medically retired in 2018 my SCI was no longer needed because I left my ODA about a year before so there was no reason to have the Army to update it. If I went into defense contracting maybe I would have had it reopened I was originally going to work for triple canopy but my wife didn’t want me gone going to Syria and Yemen .
My TS/SCI recently expired I had the Clearance in the army as a 18C Special forces engineer but I went to JTAC and to call for CAS I need to talk to the jets and that requires a TS/SCI I was working for Merrill last summer and they ask me about my clearance ironically. I had it in my resume.

Iran "was" firing hundreds of missiles. Not anymore. Irans missile launches are down 86% since the start of the war. Literally 10 minutes ago, it has been officially confirmed that thousands of Kurdish militias just launched a ground invasion targeting the IRGC. Coincidently, Kurdish language specialists with TSC/SCI clearance went up a week ago across major defense contractors. With the information they will obtain and provide, this makes the 4 month timeline even more likely for the goals mentioned in my first comment. There is a reason Iran is trying to reach out to U.S. privately to end the war...
I didn't say the war would end in 4 months, Just the length of time to accomplish the above goals. There are some differences this time around. Literally 10 minutes ago, it has been officially confirmed that thousands of Kurdish militias just launched a ground invasion targeting the IRGC. Coincidently, Kurdish language specialists with TSC/SCI clearance went up a week ago across major defense contractors. It took the U.S. [3 months](https://www.britannica.com/event/withdrawal-of-United-States-troops-from-Afghanistan) to push out the Taliban and take control of Afghanistan. Building a stable Afghan government, security forces, and prevent Taliban resurgence was what made it last 20 years. Taliban was able to flee to Pakistan and hold out to draw out the war. This time around IRGC has no where to flee. Pakistan will not harbor them. Most of the surrounding regions are strongly allied with the U.S. now. Even Syria who we once fought had their President meeting with Trump in the White House. There is a reason Iran is trying to reach out to U.S. privately to end the war... They know their time in power is running out.
I wonder what ITAR, EAR, Trade Secret, Confidential, Secret, TS/SCI and other export control laws/regulations mean when Sam Altman will be allowed to transmit, disseminate, alter/modify, etc this data and potentially add it to its LLMs and be viewed by potentially foreign nationals that may be working at OpenAI???? #Calls on SCI (funeral services) since bols died LMAO🤌
SCI ok? Boomer's start turning 80 this year.
I enjoy a bit of contrarian investing! It’s not at all the main focus of my portfolio but it is fun, so I dabble just a bit in it. First focusing on geographical regions everyone talks about America, China, Europe, even Latin America on occasion. I never hear people talk about Africa or Australia. So I bought a little bit of AFK (African ETF) and FLAU (Australian ETF). Also any ETF focusing on global small cap would be good right now I think. I might add that to my portfolio next time I get paid. Stocks - SCI. They make stuff for funerals. Basically, as long as humanity doesn’t figure out immortality, they will be in business. It’s a quiet stock I never hear anyone talk about and it just moves along nicely and pays out a decent dividend. As long as people keep dying, I’ll keep holding. A few other stocks I have that are doing well and tend to often not ever make the news: CR, BAESY, ORI, and ETN. All boring ass companies that just keep going up and even if there is a sizable US market correction, I don’t think these companies will get destroyed in the downturn. I’m overall a bit of a value investor, so I don’t get excited for the big sexy growth stocks that monopolize headlines. Investing in that shit always has me checking stock prices way too often and I find my emotions get caught up in them. I like the good boring stuff.
Well we're need a specific example of that. buying high is most unlikely if you're doing a reasonably good estimate of the Fair Value and know how undervalued the stock is As for the stock stagnating or having a collapse due to a bad quarter or two, usually those recover a bit more slowly I've had meltdowns with United Health, The Trade Desk, Adobe, Centene, Globant, Nike, STMicroelectronics, Teleflex, Zoetis. I'm not that terribly concerned. Ones that stagnated were Starbucks and Service Corporation International. The latter one was the funeral industry and it choked out with buying massive amounts of land for expansion of it's empire of graveyards, and all the recession, interest ratings and inflation woes derailed them for a while. I got out of both, just not making much of anything. I think SCI was like maybe a 4% loss Bought it was $72 and it's worth $85 now Missed out $87 dollars in November 2024 laughs, oh well only high risk companies I've touched are banks ......... Walden: Works great, until it doesn't and you actual bought high....without realizing it Well, that applies to Buffett too I never did understand his like of Sears, and Bank of America perplexed me. And Liberty XM and Sirius were perplexing as well. Buffett just kept it simple saying rule one was never overplay for a stock Rule two was never overpay for a stock I bought United Health like two weeks ago, and last week it dropped 19%. Not concerned, wished I waited, but what can you do. Other than Zacks suggested that UNH was not really a Buy but a Hold. When the next stock matures, or I get impatient, I'll yank it out and put some of into The Trade Desk, I'm tempted with Microsoft, but I'd rather put it elsewhere, and MercadoLibre MELI is promising for the year ahead, but it's a lousy time to buy. Value Investing is Value investing, whatever the time frame.
Check out Nervgen stock. Super cheap. "The FDA confirmed in a September 2025 Type C meeting that multiple regulatory routes are available to support approval of NVG-291 as the first pharmacologic treatment for SCI" There is a small community here on Reddit that discusses the results from the clinical trial including some that have participated... Life changing peptide and stock.
Nah my current position involves DoD CUI, no clearance. But if I want to apply to a TS/SCI job in future then best to keep record clean.
None. All of those capabilities are TS/SCI material. If any private company is even aware of those capabilities, they can’t talk about it as it would be a criminal violation of the National Security Act. Basically; you can go to jail for life, or even be executed, depending on the material and severity of the crime. Basically - no one who actually knows can answer you, and that information cannot be publicly released unless properly declassified.
SCI + CSV - they run funeral homes in the US, and a fuckton of people are about to lose their jobs/health insurance.
Black sky isn’t just the newest in the game. They aren’t remotely the best or have a competitive network. That would be GlobalEye/Maxar/Lanteris, which was bought out by LUNR in November; and Capella, which was bought out by IONQ in July. Capella is hard to value though. All of their federal contracts are black budget and classified. Lanteris has significant unclassified contracts, but as a bus supplier of intelligence satellites, a huge amount of their work and income is classified as well. That being said; both have been the poster children of emerging US satellite intelligence sector businesses, and no one is remotely close to being competitive with either. Unlike RKLB or BKSY now, both LUNR and IONQ now have access to secure classified manufacturing facilities that satisfy the requirements for working on TS/SCI systems. Also a massive point for anyone drooling over BKSY’s promises of resolution: resolution is considered a controlled material in the US. The easiest way to tell an imagery company is failing at finding federal contracts with organizations like the NRO and NGA - is if they publish their imagery metadata. In most cases, if under an IDIQ, that information is *highly* classified.
I have not ever dropped this as I was trying to keep it a secret because I hate when Reddit pump and dumps a stock, it hinders legit stocks and delays their growth imo. But I feel like it is about to become pretty known in the next three months anyways. They've spent all year setting up for uplisting and carefully planning their IND application for Q4. I am all in on NurExone, tickers NRXBF/NRX.VN. And by all in I mean 90% of my retirement portfolio was in it, but now only 70% because I got bored and found PGEN pre-approval which I believed in because of how bold they were stating on their own website when they would be approved and faith in their CEO, but now reconverting back to 90%+ conviction into NurExone because PGEN seems risky with dilution and slow on growth for now. TLDR DD: Their initial pipeline is spinal cord injuries and now glaucoma, but their larger goal is a drug delivery system with exosomes. They showed promising preclinical data with orphan designations approved, and now their catalysts are IND application >> uplist from pennymarket to major market >> combined phase 1/2a which will allow them to finish phase 2 quickly and get into phase 3. They are really building a solid foundation with help from major organizations that assist with planning, structuring, proper market uplisting, FDA approvals with special designations, and taking it slow and methodical but are now ready to explode EOY. I'm not political, but I do recognize that a lot of medical/financial success comes from Israel, and they happen to have a lot based out of Israel and Germany. I like that they are listed on USA, Canadian, and German markets, and I like that they got orphan designation both in USA's FDA and also Europe's EMA. I like that they secured their own master cell bank for consistent in-house manufacturing. I like that they posted youtube videos of their actual scientific work (severed rat spine unable to walk and then given ExoPTEN and now able to walk). I like that their main goal is the creation of an exosome delivery system which is why they were able to go from spinal cord injuries to also curing glaucoma with additional discoveries to be had. I'm very wary of medical stocks, but this one I've slept like a baby for the past year I've held it. I expect $1.50-$3.00 EOY, stagnate to $2.50ish Q1 2026, possibly pump and dumped to $12 Q2/Q3 2026, plateau to back and forth $6-$12 until phase 3 results, $14-$22 post-successful phase 3 results for their acute SCI ExoPTEN which really only targets recent MVA/slip and fall patients with insurance involved. Obviously this will go a lot higher if their glaucoma succeeds, and they also have a chronic SCI collaboration ongoing too. But I'm basing everything off of their acute SCI ExoPTEN since that was all they had when I first got into their stock. I am actually surprised that they managed to have very promising results for their glaucoma tests.
How the F would you know. There are TS-SCI projects going on pushing the boundaries of quantum. Just because shit isn’t out in retail doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. You’re a moron.
* 2024 * The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (“CMS”) finalized the 2024 Home Health Rule which includes exoskeletons in the Medicare brace benefit category, reimbursed by Medicare on a lump-sum basis. The Home Health Rule went into effect on January 1, 2024. * CMS revised its April 2024 Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (“DMEPOS”) Fee Schedule to include a final lump-sum Medicare payment rate for personal exoskeletons. * The MACs have begun approving previously submitted Lifeward claims for payment. * The CMS Home Health Rule and Medicare Pricing achieved by Lifeward is now fully functional with widespread approvals and the beginning of payments from our 2023 and first-half 2024 submissions. With the experience of access for Medicare beneficiaries, physicians are now able to actively write prescriptions with confidence that on-label SCI individuals have access to this innovative walking and stair climbing technology. * In June, Lifeward successfully launched the latest generation of Differential Air Pressure Anti-Gravity Technology with its new NEO product line. The NEO provides features that are aligned for independent clinics seeking to offer this advanced technology. * In June, Lifeward completed its FDA submission for its 7th generation ReWalk design which will further enhance use of the system in all aspects of daily life and further establish Lifeward as the most experienced personal exoskeleton company in the world. Lifeward initiated actions to further streamline its U.S. operations including closing two U.S. facilities to complete the integration of AlterG. The actions are expected to save the Company approximately $3 million in operating expenses and improve gross margins by approximately two percentage points when the full impact is achieved. * Lifeward began selling the AlterG family of products through its German sales organization which the Company expects will result in revenue growth from a more focused sales effort and higher margins with little incremental investment by utilizing its existing sales and support infrastructure in Germany. * Lifeward executed a successful launch of the AlterG NEO which was engineered with a new design to allow a lower price point to make the technology more accessible to a broader range of customers. Since the introduction of the NEO at the end of June, Lifeward has generated orders for approximately 40 units as the NEO is quickly becoming a growth driver for the AlterG product line. 2025: Achieved FDA clearance and subsequent U.S. launch in April 2025 for the ReWalk 7, the latest innovation in the ReWalk pipeline, with over 20 ReWalk 7 units installed to date with overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers. Expanded and advanced the pipeline of qualified leads for the ReWalk and achieved the highest quarterly total of ReWalk units placed for Medicare beneficiaries since fee schedule established in April 2024. Continued expansion of U.S. payer base for the ReWalk Personal Exoskeleton. On the Medicare front, a ruling by an Administrative Law Judge established a legal basis for medical necessity by affirming that the ReWalk Personal Exoskeleton is “reasonable and necessary” for a Medicare beneficiary. Additionally, the partnership with CorLife, a division of NuMotion, has already facilitated and accelerated processing for workers compensation claims, with the first paid claim. SCI is the largest holder of funeral homes and crematoriums in the US.
One of the stocks should be funeral home stocks CSV or SCI. The rationale is self-explanatory
Probably thinking of when people bought the funeral homes stocks such as SCI and CSV during peak Covid deaths. Profit is profit but you can get backlash for saying it out loud.
Honest answer, no. They can't do it at the scale and effectiveness of Palantir. If those companies wanted to get in bed with the government, it would likely take 2+ years with lobbyists greasing the wheels every step of the way. Secondly, CoPilot and Gemini are dogshit. And not fit for highly classified medical information, let alone TS/SCI. Nor have the protocols to facilitate, and get validation/approvals within a 2yr timeframe for classified government contracts. PLTR is heavily entrenched in government contracts, which builds the moat. They've created an ecosystem within their secure platform for developers to build on as well. I do not see disruption without a remarkable capital investment, which these companies can absolutely do. Can they make a strong enough case to their shareholders they can win? I don't see the execution abilities of any of those companies on par with Palantir, candidly. That's a tough sell to the board. I invested in 2021, believed in it, 600@26.5. Not institutional, or wealthy, by any means. Had some dark days, but believed in the vision. I wouldn't buy more at this price point, but I expect it to go up.
Yeah, I hear you. I've mostly rotated into defensive stocks and I was weighing GOOGL along with AMZN, and went with the latter because I thought the selloff was an overreaction. I should have just bought EZCORP and SCI like I intended to before making a basic Mag7 play.
Full port WM and SCI would be diabolical
Have you looked at the death care industry, people will always die 😉. $SCI
Rivian Compass Pathways Any cannabis stock Quantumscape GE SCI - This stock will be great until. We uncover immortality. Not a stock but, AFK
NFA, but an actually not commonly publicized stock is $SCI. I held it for years before moving on to something else. They basically have a monopoly over the funeral home business.
MRK, PLMR, ODC, V, SCI I think MRK is due for a turnaround and the worries about patent expiry are priced in, which is attractive to me. PLMR is a bit speculative, but they’ve done stellar. ODC is a small company that my friend works at, and they just keep performing. V and MA are both good choices, but I like V ever so slightly more. SCI because people will keep dying.
seems legit.. to work there, you need TS/SCI security clearance.
I’m on the SCI train. I don’t think it will blow up, but boomers are wealthy and firing fast.
I've always like SCI. My thesis: old people gunna die with money, a lot and more and more. I knew some of the local higher ups, and it's a solid well run company as far as I can tell.
NervGen’s solid, but $NRX is coming at SCI from a whole new angle, exosome-based therapy delivered intranasally. Preclinical data showed restored function in paralyzed rats, and human trials are next. Global IP, in-house manufacturing, U.S. spinout… it’s still early, but could be a sleeper hit. Worth watching.
I work in the BCI industry. I don't believe everything he says, but rather am a neuroscientist with intimate knowledge of the field. You don't have to believe anything Elon says, patients who have received the device with both ALS and SCI have spoken volumes about it. The FDA has continued to approve patients for Neuralink’s EFS trial, so you can believe them too. Again, I agree Elon sucks, but you are so clouded by that viewpoint that you can't see something wonderful for these patient populations, and would rather hate on him than hold a view of hope and optimism for those stricken by incurable conditions.
I appreciate your perspective on NervGen. However, NurExone has recently made significant strides that highlight its potential in the field of spinal cord injury (SCI) therapy. Just today, NurExone announced plans to initiate a Phase 1/2a clinical trial in 2026 for ExoPTEN, their exosome-based therapy for acute SCI. This follows promising preclinical studies demonstrating significant recovery of motor and sensory functions in rat models. (biospace.com) On top of that, ExoPTEN has received Orphan Drug Designation from both the FDA and EMA, which is a big deal in terms of regulatory support and potential exclusivity. While NervGen’s approach is interesting, NurExone’s unique delivery method and progress make it a very compelling play in my opinion. Wishing you the best with your investment and honestly, I really hope one of us ends up getting rich off this 💸💸💸🚀🚀🚀
Nursing homes have a choice on which patient they admit. I dont want a patient complaining to the state on the little things, nor do I want to treat a child molester with prostate cancer nor a 500lb “yo momma” with hemiplegia because my back. Patients with TBI or SCI requires specialized care and they are better served in a SNF with adequate tools and man power What pains me is that Nursing Homes do not share UNH bonuses to the CNAs. Long UNH, regards. This is fire sale.
Great picks! BRK, COST, AMZN, MSFT, V For a little more under the radar could look at: ROL, CNSWF, SCI, KNSL

Bought SCI stock for $4 a share in the early 2000. $15000 worth. Worth around $75 a share now
Not evil, but definitely feels weird to profit from. SCI - This company is all about funerals. More people die, more revenue they make. I'd say funerals make loads of people miserable.
I subscribe to that channel! I wonder if that's how I learned about SCI. I can't remember
YouTube modern MBA did a really interesting video on SCI and mortuary business as a whole. Really interesting and opened my eyes to the huge slush fund from prepaid burial sites they are sitting on.
Honestly, not a bad line of thinking. Deathcare is as recession proof as it gets. There *are* a few public funeral service companies like SCI, but if you’re looking to go broader, Surmount actually has a few recession-resistant ETF strategies you can automate. Less morbid lol
SCI is the largest funeral company that is publicly traded.
I bought SCI, a funeral and burial company, to see how "deathcare" does during the next 20 years. I am not really an idv stock picker, I am an index investor, but it wasn't a big chunk of my NW and it sounded like an interesting company to buy and hold.
SCI is the largest funeral home corporation as well as many other corporations descending in size and Matthews International has a great hold on The Americas in cremation products as well as cemetery products
SCI (stock ticker) is the nation's largest funeral services company. However, it's not immune to recession. When the economy is down, people will continue to die, but families will opt for less expensive funeral options.
SCI Huntingdon
Time to start stocking up on SCI.N
SCI, Service Corporation International. Funeral Goods and Services Company. Also buy Dollar General. Philip Morris. Smith and Wesson
I’m retired and my savings are disappearing. Good news is now they want me to go to the social security office to verify my identity. I had a TS/SCI clearance so obviously don’t exist.
Like everything else in the US, funeral homes are owned by mega corporations now. SCI is the biggest.
(SCI)...Service Corporation International is in the death biz
Lmfao Is there a ticker for suffering? $SCI is a good pick for the end of it.
Sure, let's shit on the stock that just recently secured their largest contract ever; [GTMR - CTM Subsidary](https://www.globenewswire.com/fr/news-release/2025/02/28/3034789/0/en/Castellum-Inc-Announces-the-Award-of-a-103-3-million-Contract-to-its-GTMR-Subsidiary.html)103 million total for the next 5 years guaranteeing half their current revenue till then even if they do fuck all till then which they won't because... They also secured a vendor agreement with SCI MAC with a value ceiling of 249 million [SCI MAC](https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2025/02/25/3031811/0/en/Castellum-Inc-Announces-Its-GTMR-Subsidiary-Has-Been-Selected-as-a-SCI-MAC-Vendor.html)... but wait, thats not all... They have yet to wait on hearing back on OASIS+ contracts and if there is anything to go by their bidding history (of which they are 4/4 on with a 100% capture rate), there is more yet to come... but that ain't even it chief... They just recently released their 10-K report [10-K](https://investors.castellumus.com/financials/sec-filings/sec-filings-details/default.aspx?FilingId=18274401) for 2024 and they eliminated all debt, increased EBITDA 7x, projected to end up cash positive by EoY, and DRASTICALLY cut operating expenses by 50%... but... WAIT there's MORE... That report doesn't factor in 2025's recent contract winnings and SCI MAC vendor agreement indicating guarantee growth for this year in revenue and increased exposure. CTM won't be a trillion dollar company anytime soon, but its a fantastic company growing rapidly with the excellent leadership they have at the helm. Respectfully, stfu, do your research before you talk. As a fellow Canadian, you give us a bad name.
Do your own DD and double check. Brief CTM catalysts. 1) 103 million Contract 2) 3 million contract 3) OASIS+ work orders; ten-year performance period and no ceiling value 4) SCI MAC vendor awardee with work order ceiling 249 million (Disclaimer: they haven't released if they have won any work orders yet, so technically $0 won so far)

For those invested in CTM, if you're in for short term idk maybe sell, market is too volatile, to say what the stock is going to do one way or the other. SCI = Good, solid business. Does excellently in pandemics.
CTM, 250 million contract Huge https://investors.castellumus.com/news/news-details/2025/Castellum-Inc.-Announces-Its-GTMR-Subsidiary-Has-Been-Selected-as-a-SCI-MAC-Vendor/default.aspx
I picked up SCI. Funerals and cemeteries.
TLDR investing in SCI FUNERAL HOME
SCI up 7% today…. You might be on to something
SCI (Service Corporation International) and CSV (Carriage Services Inc)
Same cashed out 1000 shares/just over $3k at 3:55 @ $7.05 share. Will run it back when it dips tomorrow or Friday. I’ve done some DD on this stock and if you look at their website they have massive job openings most of which require a TS/SCI clearance. I had one back in late 90’s early 2000’s and these aren’t cheap for the government to front the cost. Too bad government contracting pays sh** money.
I said I wanted to make this comment a couple weeks ago. But the climate was more about thoughts and prayers and get well soon toward California. And not about how do you make money off it. Kinda like investing in SCI at the peak of COVID wasnt something you could say out loud.
Should have bought more SCI. YTD gain +29.95%. Stock is as conservative, boring as it can be. Institutions own 96% of $12.9 B stock. The contrarians have an edge. Same applies to detention stocks since Trump will find business very soon.
Palantir makes their reliable money in the Top Secret/SCI space. Currently that is not a growth market, but they are not in danger of losing business there either. That's why I took some profits and left when they went above 50, I'd made enough and moved elsewhere (bought below 20). If they dip that low again I might buy back in, their stock cycles abit like that it seems.
$SCI is my buy and hold and forget…
SCI has been a winner ever since COVID
SCI. Funerals and cemetery services
Don't forget the AWESOME SCI-FI MUSIC!!
Calls on Funeral homes: Matthews International Corporation (MATW), Service Corporation International (SCI), Carriage Services Inc (CSV) Calls on casket makers.
this must be a Halloween play Service Corporation International (SCI): The largest publicly-traded funeral company, with over 1,400 locations in North America
thanks for the hot tip - loading up on $CMCO $SCI and $SWBI, let's see where this goes!
