Would love to see a poll here. I tend to agree with Cathy. We are on the verge of major technological break-troughs that will change our lives like the internet has done. Bio tech with CRISPR CAS technology, Machine Learning leading up to AI’s being able to find new medicines or correlations in diseases etc etc. Quantum computers having insane computational power so it’s possible to calculate the most complex models we currently can’t (think not only about medicine but physics, weather prediction, new research for new materials etc etc). NFT’s can change how the world handles intellectual property and smart contracts are already revolutionizing the financial industry and it’s not even started. Not to speak about AR/VR. All these catalyst are coming together in a very short time span and are all related to each other.

Honestly any hashrate is good if you’re using free electricity. I manually tweaked the CPU speed and voltage. Played around with these values until I saw big improvements in the hashrate. I enabled X.M.P., which basically optimizes the RAM. This probably has a different name for other motherboards, but this is what it’s called for the AORUS x570 elite motherboard. I changed the Infinite Fabric Frequency to 1600MHz (which is half of my RAM frequency, 3200MHz). I lowered the CAS latency from 16 to 15 (any lower would crash my computer). I’m still messing with the memory settings since I’m still learning how memory overclocking works lol.

They have permission to operate in multiple countries including the US as their newest agreement. They haven't even started marketing yet. Taking the head down and work approach. Keep an eye on them
Yes and no. It's different. I invest 80% in low cost index funds. And the other 20% goes in crypto and a few picked stocks/riskier ETFs. For instance, I'm investing in genomics right now with an ETF tracking the leading companies in that field. Because the CAS9/CRISPR technology is really interesting and has huge potential in medicine. It would be a game changer with potential to cure cancer and other similar diseases.
I’ve been holding $CAS for a few years now because I believe if their product is rolled out right it can be a giant. A couple months ago it was .005 everyone forgot about them now they’re hovering around .14 to .20. they did their joint venture called Unicas opening physical locations in India, on the presuppose of offering US, Canadian and Euro accounts along with coin burns. People forgot because their first years were lining up all of the licensing and partnerships in each country. Some of the biggest players in crypto are banking with them now on their platform.
Love hearing CAS mentioned. I bought in during the ICO in 2017? Been holding ever since! Would LOVE to seen it at $1!
The strange thing is that I think that, let's say Tesla is highly profitable on their core business... Then the best is a price crash of the BTC, to balance their accounting. Or Tesla has to pay in FIAT ( I doubt that some investors want to get satoshi as payments... they will ask for their $$$), and they start to sell a lot because they are forced to. Or, the market regulators decide that a stock market company cannot rely on cryptos to balance their accounts and show profits that way. A lot of things can happen. As well, the BTC price increase comes from new people paying higher than what you paid, seems stupid to remind it, but it is like that. As more and more companies use BTC, less and less will be willing to buy at higher rates. Sell yes, but there must be a customer/idiot to buy at those higher rates. And the only BTC price increase is in fact a speculation. That's why for me it is very 'fuzzy' what can happen in the future, and I would say today, impossible to forecase. Can be either way. But I think the Tesla crash can destroy BTC, and the BTC crash can destroy Tesla. Panic factor is something you can control when you 'have' something ( even if, OK, when you 'buy gold' at the bank, many times it is not physical gold, and they don't even have it to back it up...). But you feel comfortable. You have 1% of a dildo company shares that produces 10 millions dildos, you know that there is a product that you can touch and use, even if the market goes down or up. There are assets. Cryptos, there is nothing, not even a rural house in Somaliland that is related to the coin. That's why fear can come very, very quickly. And the more people and mainstream people are involved, the more they can be scared easily. There has been a couple massive crypto crashes over the year, and when it goes down, most people will expect it to crash, then sell to 'limit the losses'. The same if BTC crashes and Tesla does not sell, as an example, they can be accountable for poor management if they have at the same time debts (that would come as Tesla stock itself would crash), etc... That's why I think the situation is much more complex, and still there can be massive 'pull the plug' in the field, resulting in a total crash. Apart from any breaking news on the science side, if a new computing technology is found, etc... The day where SHA-256 can be cracked even in 6 months time, then BTC will be totally and irremediably over. It can happen very fast. I remember 30+ years ago, 'editing genes' was simply deemed impossible, mapping them was nearly impossible, and resequencing them. Suddenly, PCR came, then CRISPR-CAS, and nearly overnight a whole new era opened, that was predicted to happen 'in some hundreds years' in the 80's... Still, if you are shareholder of a dildo factory ( just an example), you know that there is a physical factory, there is a huge stock, and there is 'something'. Plus, no one can steal it from you. Cryptography is as good as the technology of today is, and the technology of the future. ENIGMA german ciphering machines can be cracked with a smartphone today in a couple minutes to hours ( except some specific ones that needed a dictionnary, but that's a different story). During WWII it was deemed that it would need a complete country working for a few 'hundreds years' to decrypt it, at the beginning. Which means, when there is a technical breakthrough in the computer science, you do not own any bitcoin, and if you do, they are not safe at all. It is the 'second problem' I see with Crypto as of now. For the time being, it is more enjoy the ride and make profits indeed when it is possible!
