I heard the company related to Anduril is $SPIR. Already listed but Anduril will be big.
I was fretting over a $5000 non-realized loss the other day, when lo, my investment in $SPIR took a poop, causing me to get a $10k loss. Like, a few hours later. Sigh
Indeed, check out the SPIR Global chart for the week and notice the hit it took at earnings. You’ll see the dip when institutional got out and the retail peeps just thought about the dip and kept on buying, even though the CEO stated that he didn’t know how they were going to be able to still function in the Q4 earnings report. Gotta love the ‘Gards.
SPIR lfmao
God damn SPIR down 50 perc 😱
Spire Global ( SPIR ) down about $10.40 per share to $9.50 after filing [this 8-K after market close](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1816017/000095017025017880/spir-20250210.htm) yesterday. Spire agreed to [sell their maritime business to Kpler](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20241112273569/en/Spire-Global-Announces-Strategic-Business-Update-Debt-to-be-Eliminated) for $241 million, but now it seems Kpler doesn't want to close the deal, so "As a result of the foregoing, on February 10, 2025, the Company filed a complaint in the Delaware Court of Chancery against Buyer"
went heavy into $SPIR today, even in my roth, cause of their partnership with Anduril, their -50% movement after hours will absolutely rape my port tomorrow. Luckily Fidelity doesn't show after hour price updates so I can enjoy a few more hours of green before tomorrow. https://preview.redd.it/te01l11ehlie1.png?width=3090&format=png&auto=webp&s=ab27b4835c57b0468909016bd05a8cf5cc9f423b
$SPIR - because of the rapid expansion of satellite data demand across weather forecasting, maritime tracking, and aviation logistics. As industries increasingly rely on real-time, high-resolution data, Spire’s growing constellation of satellites positions it to capture a larger share of this emerging market. $CORZ - because of the strong positioning within the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem. As digital currencies and blockchain applications gain broader acceptance, Core Scientific’s robust infrastructure and mining capabilities could allow it to benefit significantly from a resurgence in crypto activity. $TEMP - because of the rising global focus on health and wellness, particularly quality sleep. With an established premium brand and ongoing product innovation, Tempur Sealy is well-placed to capitalize on growing consumer demand for high-quality solutions.
Not sure how the Anduril and Spire Global partnership is going to work, by SPIR just hit 500 Million market cap after hours so can talk about it.
Watched my port drop 15k in the past week, mostly on $SPIR. Still up 15k overall on it. Now I’m starting to look at what to buy. Scooped some AMD at 125 which ofc I’m down on now but not worried about that too much.
The DoD/Intel and foreign governments already have contracts with $PL. They are not gaining traction there at all. Unless, unless the contracts are up and only $PL knows this. Unfortunately, $PL is relying on commercial contracts and that's not coming or at least at a rate they're hoping. However, they are in good in liquidity and have a hefty cash reserve...so they won't disappear in three years. There's too many competitors in this space imaging market. Such as $SPIR...
it's not that hard to just do a DD... **Planet Labs PBC (PL) YOLO DD – “To the Moon or Bust” 🚀🌕** **TL;DR:** PL is a straight-up *future of Earth intelligence* play. They’re scanning the whole planet DAILY with their sick satellite army 🛰️, selling data to everyone from tree huggers 🌳 to city planners 🏙️. Stock is dirt cheap at \~$3.50, Wall Street thinks it’s got \~18% upside minimum. Yeah, they’re losing money, but who isn’t in this economy? Buy some calls, hold tight, and pray to the stonk gods. YOLO. **The Full Degenerate Dive:** **What’s Planet Labs?** PL is the king of Earth imaging tech. They’ve got the largest squad of Earth observation satellites in orbit, giving them the power to see everything, everywhere, all at once (minus the hot dog fingers). They snap pics of the whole planet daily, offering juicy data for industries like: * 🌾 Agriculture (better farming!) * 🌳 Forestry (stop those trees from dying!) * 🏠 Urban planning (build cooler cities!) * 🌊 Maritime tracking (pirates beware!) **The Numbers (Cuz Degens Gotta Degen):** * Revenue: $220.7M last year, up 15.39% YOY 🚀 * Net Loss: $140.51M (don’t cry, it’s 13% better than last year). * Stock Price: $3.51 – AKA dollar menu territory 🍔 * Market Cap**:** $1.03B as of November 22, 2024 **Why It Could Rip:** 1. **Big Money Hype:** Wall Street nerds rate this a “Moderate Buy” with a target of $3.93. That’s like an 18% jump, but hey, options make it way spicier. 2. **Partnerships FTW:** Just teamed up with Global Fishing Watch to track ocean stuff. Fish markets about to get smart. 3. **Momentum Gang:** Stock’s been climbing, up 8.6% in one day last week and still rising. 🚀 **Comps and Multiples (For the Nerds):** * **Maxar Technologies (MAXR):** Market Cap: $4.1B. EV/EBITDA: 10.5x. * **BlackSky Technology (BKSY):** Market Cap: $1.2B. EV/EBITDA: -15x (yeah, they’re losing money too). * **Spire Global (SPIR):** Market Cap: $0.8B. EV/EBITDA: -12x. PL’s EV/EBITDA is negative, but that’s standard for growth companies. Their Price-to-Sales (P/S) ratio is around 4.28x, which is in line with the industry **Risks (aka The Buzzkill Section):** * **Still Burning Cash:** Losses are narrowing, but profitability isn’t here yet. * **Competition Breathing Down Their Neck:** Everyone and their uncle is trying to get into satellites. **Why YOLO Now?** It’s a speculative growth stock. If this baby moons, your portfolio could look like a Reddit meme overnight. If it tanks, you can tell everyone you were “in it for the mission.” Either way, it’s a YOLO-worthy play for anyone looking to bet on the future of global intelligence. **Verdict:** BUY CALLS, HODL STOCKS, SEND IT 🚀. *Not financial advice. I’m just a space ape staring at the stars.*
Or why couldn’t RKLB steal share from SpaceX and Blue Origin? The thing is the market is massive and big enough to support quite a few players. What I especially like about RKLB is that they are one of the most practical and economically driven players. As opposed to ego or just plain expensive exploratory. Interesting you only name SpaceX and Blue Origin. They are both still private and RKLB even being in the same reference is a win. Tons out there like LUNR, ASTS, SPIR and many more. Of all the investible public space oriented companies, my personal opinion is that RKLB has the best chance of success commercially. It’s not too far fetched that RKLB being valued at 1/10th space X or 25 Billion which puts the share price right about $50. Now, if SpaceX were to go public, it’s easy to imagine their share price jumping and their valuation increasing quite a bit. I believe this rising tide would also benefit RKLB.
I've been avidly watching the Canadian Securities Exchange (https://thecse.com/) where this is traded ever since I hit it big on the same exchange for DRUG last month. People underestimate smaller exchanges and these explosive gains. As for why the sudden volume for BTC:CSE in past couple weeks - let's see -- their website looks like absolute dog sh!t. They have 11-50 employees and only 253 connections on LinkedIn (which they have never posted nor are there any jobs currently and CEO has been quiet on social for over a year) - are those deal breakers - not necessarily. They could be riding on the heals of SPIR:CSE (Spirit Blockchain) that gained the week prior. Blockchain/fintech is running now - even PKK:CSE (Tenet) is running.
SPIR up 30% today why didn’t any of you cucks mention it
SPIR has a class action pending for defrauding their investors… so naturally it’s up 30% this month
SPIR Not exactly “outer space” but adjacent. Somebody will have to manage that data and make it useful. It’s definitely a long bet.
ASTS competition is with Starlink division from SpaceX, very big market but up against SpaceX which is very tough to beat on price as a business model in which they build/launch/operate the sats all in house. RKLB could also be a future competitor with a significant advantage as they build all there stuff In house/launch GSAT has multiple competitors and a very established market with lots of big names competing RKLB only other competitor is SpaceX huge market (launching/maintaining/manufacturing/operating spacecrafts) LUNR has no competition but a very questionable market size/business model PL has lots competitors (BLACKSKY, SPIR) but the market isn’t really that big
Wait until this sub finds out about $SPIR
laugh me out the sub you dumbass. RDW & SPIR are quarters away from fcf positive.
Anyone following SPIR? Getting sued for defrauding investors?
**Top pre-market gainers:** $CING +106% $SPRC +93% $VSME +58% $AISP +26% $CYTO +25% **Top pre-market losers:** $TSBX -38% $SIGA -34% $LLAP -33% $SPIR -28% $TITN -22%
Remember what happened to: SPCE LUNR TSAT SPIR PL LLAP even Boeing now. Be careful.
Everyone talking about ASTS, meanwhile SPIR is pumping
$SPIR did 8:1 RS though, so not quite the same. I averaged down a year ago on both so I'm up overall now on both.
Just need to find a good company that is undervalued and heavily shorted. AMC is a shit show and there are like billions of shares outstanding. How about a young, up and coming business that could actually survive and thrive. Just need the push. I like SPIR. Let’s go
I’m holding RKLB, LUNR, and LLAP, and swing trading SPIR and ASTS. I kept thinking I was too late to buy RDW and it keeps going up. I guess I’ll wait for a red day and buy in.
I think the stock market his gonna pump tomorrow so I am loading up on good companies that are cheap right now; SIRI, PERI, and SPIR
Was SPIR that over valued it tanked on 2 mill miss on revenue expectations? Sheesh, the market has been brutal on earnings lately...only the most spectacular over blown earnings and guidance drives any upward movement... (or huge buybacks - Apple)
Buy $SPIR if it’s a yolo, it’s spirit blockchain technology
sold SPIR a couple days ago because i figured a 90% gain in no time is awfully good and space companies are risky, then they announce some kind of partnership with NVIDIA and double again. lmao.
If you don't want to play with DWAC, why not try a winner? SPIR just hit profitability, likely going to be included in the Russel. It's up 200% in the last 6 months, but only trading at 3.5X ARR but growing 30% YOY.
For the past 2 years I got kicked in the dick buying a company called SPIR. In the last 6 months it and I am up over 200% now. 30% just today. Feels good to be right and make a shitload of money doing it.
SPIR for the win....
I told you fuckers to buy SPIR
Then you should love $SPIR: [https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20240318851409/en/Spire-Global-to-Enhance-AI-Driven-Weather-Prediction-in-Collaboration-with-NVIDIA](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20240318851409/en/Spire-Global-to-Enhance-AI-Driven-Weather-Prediction-in-Collaboration-with-NVIDIA)
Buy SPIR tomorrow. Thank me Later
BUY SPIR, NVIDIA’s new partner
SPIR just reported tonight. They hit free cash flow positive finally. I have been eating shit on this one for 2 years. Now in the past 2 months I've gone from red to green on it. 80% gain so far. I am pretty concentrated. This thing is half my portfolio now.
SPIR earnings call just said they are profitable 🔥
SPIR reverse split was followed by a 2x on the share price, not all reverse split are bad.
Is that MDALF ticket for US? And what do you think of SPIR?
I like this but SPIR is better.
SPIR has route to further growth and has track record of high double digit historic growth. They are also expected to be cash flow positive this year. Biggest challenge for them has been their balance sheet, but are expected to recover from these issues once they turn cash flow positive. Disclaimer: My largest holding but up +165%
A number have tanked spectacularly recently: SPIR: Spire Global, US/UK/Lux based. A lot of promise for weather monitoring, logistics monitoring from space, but had a large SPAC and tanked since. Not clear if they have route to growth/profitability. It's cheap compared to SPAC, but unsure if good investment tbh. ARQQ: More of a quantum stock, they had plans to build an encrypted quantum comms satellite constellation, but now selling that off. They may still be valuable as a SW company but again, bit sketchy on their future. [https://www.satellitetoday.com/finance/2022/12/14/arqit-quantum-ditches-plan-for-quantum-satellites/](https://www.satellitetoday.com/finance/2022/12/14/arqit-quantum-ditches-plan-for-quantum-satellites/) SATX: Satixfy communications. Performance is currently crap, mired in regulation problems. I invested a small amount and am under water. Basically those are 3 companies you may not have heard about, none of which I can recommend!
Friday my biggest position SPIR went up 30%. Totally broke out of the lousy pattern. Hopefully it continues.
SPIR up 23% today. I have no clue why. It's 40% of my portfolio.
Buy $SPIR. it’s going to moon today
>I have options with X0S and MULN and SPIR Fucking why?
The last 2 years I have been buying the dip on a former spac (SPIR) that has been consistently shitting the bed. It was down 95% at one point. It was selling for like 70% of this years revenue last month despite growing over 30% YOY and it's all reoccurring revenue. Anyways, it's up 43% in the last month and still only selling for slightly above this years revenue. I bought the dip though so today I am broke even. Thank god. 2 years of getting my face ripped off sucked. Here is to many years of growth ahead!
Spire ($SPIR) and Planet Labs ($PL) are pretty interesting geoint companies. I think that part of the space economy will be pretty big.
Bought more SPIR. Looks like they won't run out of cash.
SPIR and ATIP. Lost my ass.
Fucking SPACs. ATIP, SPIR, MTTR
I ate a rash of shit for 2 years accumulating this turd, but it's finally paying off. SPIR +16% yesterday and again today. Selling for 1x ARR while growing at 37% was absurdly low.
[Spire Global Effects 1-For-8 Reverse Stock Split effective on August 31, 2023](https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20230830450005/en/Spire-Global-Effects-1-For-8-Reverse-Stock-Split) \- SPIR SPIR.WS
I would describe it slightly differently, but that is the gist of it. AMD is making progress here though, and other more general programming approaches might supplant the CUDA level stuff (e.g. SYCL compilers). From the Wikipedia article, emphasis mine: >While the SYCL standard started as the higher-level programming model sub-group of the [OpenCL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) working group and was originally developed for use with [OpenCL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) and [SPIR](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_Portable_Intermediate_Representation), SYCL is a [Khronos Group](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khronos_Group) workgroup independent from the [OpenCL](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenCL) working group since September 20, 2019 and starting with SYCL 2020, SYCL has been generalized as a more general heterogeneous framework able to target other systems. This is now possible with the concept of a generic [backend](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backend_(computing)) to target any acceleration [API](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_interface) while enabling full interoperability with the target [API](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application_programming_interface), like using existing native libraries to reach the maximum performance along with simplifying the programming effort. ***For example, the Open SYCL implementation targets ROCm and*** [***CUDA***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUDA) ***via*** [***AMD***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Micro_Devices)***'s cross-vendor*** [***HIP***](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterogeneous-compute_Interface_for_Portability)***.*** I think we eventually need to reach a good general implementation of heterogeneous compute. I'm not certain SYCL will achieve that, but if not, something else will sooner or later, but it isn't an easy problem.
Anyone looking at SPIR? It’s a penny stock these days, been beat up to shit as they haven’t been profitable yet since going public a couple years ago. But they just had their earnings report this afternoon and it’s looking like they have a clear path to cash flow positive by the end of the year, and potentially free cash flow positive by mid-next year. Just heavily improved their guidance. This could be a sleeper stock that’s due for a nice squeeze at some point. Curious to hear if anyone else has looked at it 👀
They’re on my watchlist but honestly they were kind of humming along while RKLB, SPIR and BKSY (and PYPL) had some drops so I scooped more of those up instead of adding something new. Definitely watching with this big drop in the last month.
I'm a big space nerd so I have RKLB, SPIR, BKSY and SIDU in my portfolio. Today was a very good day indeed. Of course, I've been in them long enough to know that tomorrow they will probably all be down a lot, but over time I've averaged down to add to my positions and am up on all except SPIR (down 44% but still adding and believing) and SIDU (very small position just to track it).
Since we are talking SPACs, what's your opinion on $SPIR? The stock is really down, and they are not profitable yet. However they still have runway and are posting results tomorrow. I hold a small position and am still confident they could go places.
All of the LEO satellite imaging stocks like BKSY, SPIR, PL (aren't they all set up to run right now anyway?). Maybe RKLB, LUNR, LMT.
Been holding SPIR for a week.. still have a feelin..
If your looking for a giggle take a look at SPIR. I thought it was a deep value play at 3..... I still haven't sold and have been averaging down. Right now it's my only red position but holy shit is it red.
[The Future Of Space Is Now: Why All Companies Need A Space Strategy](https://www.accesswire.com/viewarticle.aspx?id=764551&lang=en) \- SPIR SPIR.WS Spire Global put together an interesting press release to showcase some of their capabilities.
Anyone with a legitimate TLDR for $SPIR?
Lots of DeSpac news. QTEK files Chapter 11. APGN getting bought for .64. BKSY and SPIR team up.
LLAP and SPIR… maybe space shit isn’t my thing?
