Exposure to btcoin/blochain via stocks and ETFs - Yay or nay?
TLT - Large institutional trades suggest a meaningful low is near.
I took a year off trading and decided to get in again and start small so I don’t blow my load all at once. All of this of this has been swing trading SPXS, SQQQ, TBT and UVXY. Now I’m long in LEAPs with my profits.

Best plays if you think the FED won't raise interest rates?
(Do not trade this) My Michael Burry trade on bond yields. If bond yields go up TLT will go down. TBT is the UVXY for TLT (volatility play). This is based off of fed tapering / rising rates / inflation / debt ceiling / default on debt by October 18th if the government isn’t funded.

Betting against 20+ year treasury bonds is a win-win
$TBT Currently Entering My Buy Zone - ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury - Buying 21% below Michael Burry's 13F entry. Nice technical entry at support. I expect inflation to affect bond prices. This is a leveraged ETF, so trade at your own risk. Just sharing my trade plan, not meant as advice.

Short treasuries seem to be the play $TBT
How do you see invest in TBT etf for several months? 10 and 20 T rates it seems clear are going up to 6%..
TBT and GLD. I got in one both a week ago. That $5,000 won’t happen, BUT inflation will skyrocket and they’ll print dollars like we can’t even imagine.
Pay attention to what TBT (short treasuries), EUFN (Euro finance) are doing AH 🤔
$78 silver and $5.80 copper will cause inflation problems. I bought TBT.
TQQQ shorts are for the longer term TQQQ decays relative to the NASDAQ so that's ideal for trading the correction that will eventually come. SQQQ doesn't decay all that much, but I short SQQQ instead of opening longs for NASDAQ because shorting is free of charge at my broker while going long directly incurs daily fees. SOXS and SOXL decay very fast, and I want to be short the semis in case the market would go up and that's automatically implemented by shorting both SOXS and SOXL. We'll likely get a rotation to the financial sector, shorting FAZ has the advantage that FAZ decays over time. I'm long TMF instead of short TBT because TBT incurs massive dividend fees and doesn't decay all that fast. It's worse than SQQQ in which case the slow decay is still similar to the quarterly dividend fee.
September 23rd is dividend ex-date for many of my leveraged ETFs. I've closed my shorts for SOXS and moved the money to a long position for SOXL a few days ago. Today I may open a long position for SQQQ and if the market goes down today, I may close a few shorts for TQQQ and perhaps open a long position for TQQQ. Shorts for TBT were closed a while ago and the money was moved to a long position for TMF. I'll leave my large short position for FAZ open. On the ex-date or later I'll reverse these moves at opportune moments, closing long positions for leveraged ETFs and reopen the shorts for leveraged ETFs.
TBT to the time Nate Anderson decided to short all of India because he was bored
Short Euro/Dollar Short TQQQ Short NVDA Short PLTR Short SOXL Short TBT Long LLY Long BRK.B Long UNH
FXE, FXF, FXY, GLD, TBT, and UVIX are my insurance plan in case things go tits up with the USD
Research TBT or other short bond etfs
Look no further than $TBT Also, check out the dividend 🤗
If you use Treasury Direct and invest in 1-6 moths and just keep on reinvesting. When rate sget to 7 you can buy then ALSO, TBT or TBX
How are you doing that exactly? Like with ETFs like TBT?

The instinct to downgrade you when you’re making reasoned arguments (that people are welcome to disagree with) is mind blowing 🤯. But here are the non-Tariff barriers per AI: 1. Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Measures 2. Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) 3. Import Licensing and Administrative Requirements 4. Value-Added Tax (VAT) as a Perceived Barrier 5. Digital and Regulatory Barriers 6. Intellectual Property (IP) and Market Access Restrictions 7. Subsidies and State Aid 8. Environmental and Labor Standards The first one is definitely the biggest commercial barriers. Many counties do not want to buy our medicated and GMO meat which lack the certification/regulations (bullet #2) to get past the bottom level regulation in the USA. Of note, the trump admin seems to think #4 is very unfair. And in a way it is unfair because it relies on the IS having a lower domestic tax rate, which makes our products less competitive abroad. But here’s where I’ll probably lose the Europeans that are still reading but you need to hear it…the true cause of the imbalance of our relationship…the reason Europe has higher taxes to fund their social safety nets so well is (in part) because America has been footing the bill for European security for decades. I know this isn’t revolutionary ideas - but your ability to not need to fund defense well has enabled the 4-8 week vacations for 1st year employees and the year long paternity leaves, etc. yes, America will likely always have less social safety nets than Europe, but thumbing your nose at the American system overlooks the easy ride your countries have enjoyed under American stewardship. While I despise Trump in many many ways, there is a lot of truth in the core message and goals.
usd/eur- jan 2025 .97 today .88 usd/jpy... jan 2025 158 today 142 Goldman today said possibly another 15% coming off. To all those index players, take notes. The other play is short 10year or long end. TBT, TTT, PST, TBX.
Me too, I'm short SPY, got calls on TBT, and I'm long GLD...
I'm in long-dated, ATM UUP puts, GLD calls, GLDM shares, a few foreign ETFs (EWP, the Spain ETF has not only recovered from the tariff-shock drop, but surpassed it!), 10k in euros, a few SPY September 505 puts, and some TBT calls and TLT puts in case we get another liquidity freakout and firms have to ditch bonds again from margin calls.
I would imagine puts on TLT or calls on TBT. Or parking money in a foreign currency, or using a foreign currency pair with the dollar...
TBT, short long term treasuries as the bond sell off picks up steam
Deepseek seems to think it will make stocks go lower and prices go lower short term. Gold will rise and some indexes will do well depending on what they're based on. I bought TBT because treasury will continue to sell off spiking the 10year and TBT goes up as long as treasury goes up. I'll sell around 5%
I'm eyeing TBF, TBT, TMV.
There's inverse bond ETFs like TBT
The carry trade on this isnt $SPXS, but rather figuring out how best to position for default on some treasuries. Maybe $TBT calls?
If you really think that bonds are going to drop in value the play is to short bonds. Ticker: TBT. I’m not endorsing this but if you wanna make money on bonds dropping this is how you would do it.
I have been beaten up so many times doing long options on TLT or TMF. It goes up, and you think it will stay there, but then it violently goes down. Tomorrow may be different, not sure. Selling puts on TLT around $95 and calls on TBT above $40 is a good play, though.
Value for a company like this is dependent on potential future growth. In the case of reddit, the expectation is to increase user count and time spent on the app/user. While doing so there is also the expectation of pushing advertisements specifically aimed at users based on their browsing habits and what not. Considering how effective social media is at getting used to froth at the mouth for commercial products, it's not very far fetched to think that reddit can take advantage of this. At the approximately 25 billion valuation some people might think that is valued quite well considering THAT potential of growth. TBT, I'm honestly a little shocked at that valuation. I think it could be higher. Damnit I'm in.
I thought you were talking about $TBT and was confused asf
TBT
He also sold his NVDA back in April and went long small IWM calls, neither of which played out. Not to say he will be wrong here, dude is a legend and whenever he does anything people will likely trade along. TBT if you wanna bet like Stan 🔥
Owned TBT when I thought interest rates were going up 4 years ago. I was right, but TBT did nothing. Think the 20-year horizon is the issue. Anything closer in if you're guessing lower rates?
This is why I'm long TLT calls with about 25% in TBT calls as well
All in NAIL. Will maybe buy some TBT on Wednesday ..too many people expect TLT to moon, I think it will drop hard for a short time before rocketing, but only after everyone's calls expired worthless
Why not buy TBT to balance out your TLT holdings?
That's why you short TBT too. If bonds go up, it will go up, if markets go down, short tlt will go up, with a nice correlation. In 5 years, only lost 14%, or 2.8% APY interest of the lost.... How do you see it now?
Uh. No. That is wholly inaccurate and ridiculous. Why do people always parrot this stuff? There are lots of swing and day trades (and traders) for a reason. And lots of short/ mid-term trades and traders. They are profitable. Not all of them - but not all clueless investors are profitable either. Short-term price movements are absolutely predictable. And you can trade based on irrational (I just did that with TLT/TBT on the Japan carry mess). You have to be very clear on your thesis, research it, test it, know where to enter/exit, etc. There's a lot to learn. You also have to know that nothing is 100% going to work out the way you want. That's why you use stop losses. They stop you from losing too much. "You can't time the market." is utter nonsense. Beyond the stuff I just mentioned, any act of buying or selling is defacto an attempt to time the market. When you decide how much to invest and not invest, you're timing the market. People assume they aren't timing the market buying index funds until they go sideways off a cliff for 10 years. Warren Buffet is the king of "buy and hold". He just dumped 50% of his apple shares and now owns more Treasuries than the US government. I guess he doesn't know you can't time the market.
Yeah, so many things that could spark the long term yields to go up higher like Japan selling Us bonds or reverse repo draining etc. I’m balancing my TLT position with TBT to offset any losses whilst still building up a healthy amount of long term bond ETF’s
This person gets it. TBT is 2x leveraged inverse TLT. OP go read the TLT yolo posts..
TBT - benefits when rates increase
TBT to VSCO’s last earnings when all of the regarded men in here bought calls 😭😭😭 looks like it hasn’t chosen a direction yet even tho they beat… I still feel good abt my puts

TBT the old Canada legalization days. Good news and it rips down only to hit double the last recent high SP. just throwing whatever you have at major red days and take some profits on green days
Ah those were the days, TBT when all the working dads had hip holsters for their BBs
Always money in TBT, TTT and TMV when timed well. Just need to wait for the next CPI and PPI data
My watchlist is TBT/TLT duo for when the man says "rate higher longer", then perhaps MSFT, IBM, GOOG, and AAPL. If COST does not drop below 750 I might ignore my watchlist and double down COST 735/-765c diagonal position...
On my watch list post Papa Powell Wed: TBT/TLT for when he says higher longer. More sensitive to rate comments than others SPX SMH MSFT (lagging since earnings IMO) IBM thanks to you.
TBT calls before the default and shutdown in March
Im in 1x ITM TBT feb 2. 3.15 30.5c… selling target 3.60-3.70. Just for the lol.
Thinking TBT could be lit
Bought calls on the TBT before the new year. That was a good call.
TBT SPY phucks everybody
A short term hedge is not a bad idea. You can buy some of the TBT or TMV if you need some leverage. Personally, I got some calls for the TMV expiring 12/15
TBT: DELL misses earnings on weakening PC demand on Nov. 29, 2007
Which time? Because his batting avg ain't the greatest TBT. Or at least on big things.
Sell long dated treasuries. TBT
Or buy TBT calls since it inverse TLT and goes up when rates go up... JFC
Because people are buying the bonds instead, or a different etf. TBT and TLT have liquidity. I don't know why you picked the etf that you did.
I've read no less than 5 different article about "Bond Vigilantes" in the last month. Many retail regards buying TBT hand over fist while their lexicon has been reduced to only two words: seven percent. Yoloing into TLT was the only logical thing to do.
TBT looks like easy money here
Thoughts about TBT and DRV calls?
TBT to $ENZC in 2021 ride of a lifetime.
It’s getting crazy - TLT/VGLT down like 50% - a MASSIVE crash. I never thought it would go down this low - started buying way too early, when it was down 30%. I’m tempted to buy more, because as soon as the Fed drops rates, TLT to the 🌙! But FML - what if the 10-year gets to 6% 7%? Anyway, I only have about 10% of my portfolio in it (used to be 13-14%), but it’s been painful watching this get murdered while stonks are taking a beating too. I know if I sell it will instantly shoot back up, so I partially hedged by picking up some TBT yesterday - up2.5% since. Anyone remember good old TBT, aka “the widow maker”? I’m expecting to get reamed worse than Sasha Grey at a crack party.
TLT is 10 yr short TBT is bull
$TBT just going to rip with the 10yr gg
Any stock posted here usually goes down so if I tell you all to buy $TBT will it make the 10yr go down plz

Lots of TLT calls while rates are falling, lots of TBT calls while rates are rising. Easy money when you know what is going to happen.
Michael Burry wasn’t wrong. He was just early. $TTT $TMV $TBT
This guy doesnt know what hes talking about, TBT (20 yr treasury short) absolutely ripped in 2022 the whole time JPOW was hiking rates, now the opposite will happen and TLT (20 yr treasury bull) will moon when he lowers them.
https://portfolioslab.com/tools/stock-comparison/TLT/TBT
TBT to two weeks ago when it looked like we were going to get a real red month
You can think of it like the Long Term Treasuries index, 20y+. You don't have to personally buy and sell US Treasuries to get involved in betting on rate changes. Rate hikes = you want to short bonds (TBT) Rate lowering = you want to long bonds (TLT)
TBT is the inverse, I think it’s 2x or 1.5x I can’t remember
Thank you young man. What about TBT?
You could 1. buy puts on bond-tracking etfs like 10 or 20yrs. 2. Short-sell TLT (20) 3. Long TBT/Call TBT (already a TLT-short). 4. Short sell the actual bonds, then buy SPX contracts with the credit received.
Treasuries TBT TLT SHY IEF have seen $127B in inflows year to date and are tracking for a record $206B for 2023, strategist Michael Hartnett wrote in his weekly "Flow Show" note Friday.
