It’s actually been a pretty good market since May/June, really. Those who went against the grain and bought around then are already up by quite a lot. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but I’m up around 3x from that point. I had a shortlist of coins I wanted to get into, but only managed to pull the trigger on a few of them. I ended up missing some decent gains on the others because I hesitated. My MSTR position is now up around 100%, which is pretty decent considering I’m in the UK and the gains are tax-free in my ISA. I’m sitting in mostly cash now after getting out of Collector Cards, as that had grown to around 42% of my portfolio. This time around I’ve also been checking DeFiLlama and looking at who’s actually generating revenue, then going with some of those projects. That’s how I came across Syrup and DRV, and both ended up making some pretty big gains too. I’ve sold all of those positions for now, though. I’m happy to sit on the sidelines and look to buy back in if another good entry appears.
Performance this year vs benchmarks (BTC and MSTR); performance since we started bull on August 24 (close above weekly ema50), whales' positioning, ETFs flows, and narrative simple enough that even average redditor can understand it (ZEC is privacy, although honeypot lol, but number goes up, but just use Monero, HYPE is basically better CBOE/RH, although for options there's DRV, LIT is the same so it's diversification, NEAR has been he best out of AI plays). Then again, alts shouldn't be more than 5% of your overall stock portfolio. Disclaimer: I've had those since 2025, so my cost basis is infinitely small. Still, every cycle worked like that - early winners just kept running and winning even more.
AERO, LIT, DRV are bets with high potential upside. DYOR and be aware you might lose it all.

I buy into DeFi projects that I like. OVN is like $1.40 per unit with a 1 million token max supply and a stable coin rebase protocol that has more than 60x the TVL vs its market cap. I like what they do and they’re looking to build value for their token now that it’s way down after a leverage liquidity cascade tanked the price. More than 30% the total supply is in liquidity pools! BERA just launched and is already $8 but with a massive network and defi apps about to pop up left and right. It’s only been live for 3 weeks and already pulled in more TVL than Base chain has since inception. DRV is about to get a big airdrop for its stakers and I use their options platform often. It’s great for trading options on chain and has a potential to become Ethena’s on chain options layer and they have billions to spread out over their covered options positions. Could be huge for DRV

If i needed anything to start buying $DRV ETF shares (leveraged inversed housing fund) , this is it. The housing market might not collapse, but it’s almost 100% sure to have a severe correction/slowdown at this point like we haven’t seen for the last decade. The time is ripe for a cleansing and to test the steel of this market.
A better strategy is just to short real estate on the market. I've moved my overall real estate delta negative by investing in DRV. Then you can reap the gains if your prediction is correct without uprooting your life.
