US gov announced today that copper, silver and rhenium (among others) are all critical metals. NAK has those in abundance. Gov's legal response in court to NAK's motion is due on Jan 2. I would think that the Gov and NAK work out a deal - Gov green lights Pebble and Gov gets a percentage of NAK (similar to UAMY and TMQ and MP). Downside is there, but limited compared to big upside if deal is worked out in the next few weeks.
I also have a large portion with other mining companies like MP, TMQ, LAC. It’s all red and my portfolio is bleeding dry. So, I would probably hold it out till I break even again and stay away from it for a while

Just seeing this now, with 221 comments already posted so I'm sure there's lots said. But my 2 cents is that I bought shares of TMQ,.....JUST as it was at its height somewhere in the 10.50-ish range. Now a week later the damn thing is like 50% declined. Un-f-ing real. I didn't think to put stops, figured this would likely be a keeper. It still will be once the overall metals market recovers, but it is abosultey a sh\*t show for metals right now. No clue what USAR was doing the other day but it went pretty high for a bit, yesterday. Also, the AI bubble has popped too it feels like. I have like . Maybe a minor thing but I have about 15 positions in various stocks that are not NVDA and the usual suspects. I'm into NBIS, IREN, MP, APLD, BITF, among others. Every single one of them is 5-20% down since I bought. There's nothing about the AI market right now that's any bit good IMHO. I imagine this will reverse, but fuzz. Also I'm into quantum a bit - every single one of those positions is way down. IONQ for example. Very peculiar the Seeking Alpha, Benzinga, IBD etc. are not saying much about this.

So you definitely made some money on your 10/17 5p & 6p, from your cost basis of $24,000 i would assume you probably closed your positions somewhere around the $35,000 - $40,000 range. The problem here are your 11/21 positions. Those had a cost basis of $45,000. Given you held over the weekend, you're facing a current value of $32,000 (based on mid value at close today for each contract). At this point, you are likely just above break-even point from the money you made last week. The real problem is that volume for the stock is likely to dry up, taking volatility with it (see volume today on similar tickers such as LAC, TMQ, CRML, etc.). ABAT had unusually high volume today likely from the understanding that the sell off last week was an overreaction after digesting the news, but I would definitely not expect those levels of volume to remain into the remainder of the week. The value of your puts is currently held up by the implied volatility, which will get absolutely crushed in the coming days, unless we get some dire news, which is rather unlikely. Think about it: we've had **SIX sessions IN A ROW** so far with swings in the DOUBLE DIGIT percentage. As volume and daily swings narrow this week, you will see the value of your contractrs evaporate - your puts will easily halve in value by close tomorrow if ABAT has a +/- 5% day without the huge intra-day swings. All I'm saying is - prepare to see the value of your puts get crushed to $15,000 by tomorrow close. This will happen unless volume stays up at its current levels AND ABAT keeps experiencing 20-40% swings per day. I wish you luck, but also not so much, since I hold shares.

I guess my question would be did you take the advice from people on Reddit to buy such and such stock and invested boatloads of money on those suggestions? I have gotten some stock tips from Reddit but normally everything I eventually invest in is from yahoo finance, simply Wall Street, motley fool, Zack’s.com to name a few. Dug deep today on TMQ stock before I bought. Didn’t seem like a good gamble so I didn’t buy. Some I have bought from tips on here that looked good but have still not made any money. I also would never invest my life savings in something that is literally a gamble on what the market will do. Glad you made money back. And hopefully you learn to not invest everything . Start with small batch, see how things are moving, then invest more. A penny stock that I found thru digging is WWR. Bought at .99 cents a few weeks ago. It’s now $3.68 today. And should go higher since it is a graphite plant that just received a patent for building the graphite plant in the US.

The current administration is ACTIVELY investing money into precious metal stocks (MP, TMQ). JP morgan announced a 10B investment in the sector. You don't have to start with a lot of money.. It helps, because the more you have, the more contracts and higher items stocks you can buy. Still, you can find great options for cheap for stocks such as ACHR, TMQ, BBAI, LAC, PLUG, and LUNR, etc.

JOBY is great. I have some. I also bought more ACHR, RCAT, PLTR, RGTI, POET and BBAI on Friday. Already sold a few today for a $3,000 profit and I still have 8 contracts paid off in full with those profits. LAC, PLUG and TMQ I also loaded up on!

STOP FUCKING WITH SPY!!! You want to make money on options in this game, then stay away from SPY. You buy them once in a while. There are so many great stocks you could have bought for LONG for less. I bought 10 ACHR contracts for 10-17 for only $400. and I just sold 5 for $500 and still have 5. Also PLTR, RGTI, or TMQ, BBAI - 0DTE will be the end of your account if that is all you keep doing.

Wrote some CSPs on CRML, TMQ, and TMC this past week, but I didnt get assigned. Will keep trying for those and pocketing the premiums, but may grab some shares just in case since they're cheap. For next week I've added UUUU, ASAR, LYSCF to my watchlist. Need to do more research on those.
