INTC, RKT, TEM are buys. INTC has yet to clear the 26+ bagholder level but if you trust that Trump's administration has yet to finalize and will eventually release their deal with INTC and Softbank knew or saw some opportunity related to the deal, 25 is cheap. When Trump helps a company, he really does a lot for them. Just like the administration backing up USAR to meet rare earth demands, having better chip control is crucial when you are facing China's ever growing influence of Huawei chips which has a backdoor system command allowing Chinese hackers to bypass admin password requirements with just a command. The chips war front will get its proper government support. RBK up on a down day and high short interest. TEM, Congress buying..., its AI related so the AI selloff is hurting it. However this buy smells like insider trading.

I'm interested in US rare metal companies like Steve Zissou pointed out, considering the recent Dept of Energy funding announcement. Looks like a late August or September play. Stuff like MP, UUUU, ABAT, USAR, UURAF, WWR, etc and the like.
Only thing is government decided to fund MP materials over USAR, MP is their competitor why would USAR get funded as well?

It was a strong buy at $25, still at $40, then popped to $60, then still it rises. I'd dollar cost average in case it heads back near $60. The actual bottleneck is in rare earth refining. Rare earths are not actually rare. The other refining stocks that are US are USAR and AREC. USAR and AREC both could get offtake agreements like MP did. In fact they both refine HREEs, which MP is further behind on that tech.

Time to trade the easy stuff. Buy stocks while you take time to understand time decay and implied volatility. Buy some USAR, BBAI, NVDA, PLTR and don't touch it for a year or so while you watch youtube videos about options implied volatlity/ Time decay and buy an option book like 'not an option' by the najarians. Option trading is relatively safe compared to many other derivative securities that aim to wipe out 100-200k of your account and trap you by giving you the chance to save it by pumping in more money. You only lose what you invest. Ignore spreads, they're not suitable for new option traders. Until you have done all the above, stick to owning the stocks mentioned.

I sold mine at 40 too and I panic bought back in when they got mentioned during the press conference. I’m not doing that again, and I’m gonna buy dips if they come. Even a dem administration would probably encourage less reliance on importing rare minerals. It’s definitely overvalued though I just don’t see how it comes down for a long time. I think USAR has way more upside though and a few good deals will send them skyrocketing.
I hate that I thought MP was topped out at 40 and took my profit, could have made more money, but at this point I think it is ridiculously overvalued. USAR has room to grow for sure.

There's no option for the US. They finally realized if they want to play hardball and all signs point to yes, then they need to secure their rare earth manufacturing and mining from China. MP got a $400 million injection that pumped their stock, niocorp just got $10 million this week USAR is the only one of the three that has the possibility to mine 15 of 17 rare earths. It's a no brainer that it will pump to high heaven once institutional investors realize these three are going to be the next too big to fail oil companies of the future subsidized by the government.

This doesn’t mean much, but I don’t know how much more MP can run up. It was $30 a month ago, and now at -107 P/E is a little off-putting. I see USAR as having more upside, at least in the very short term.
$USAR is about to have another 20% jump. It popped last time on $MP contract news, this sector moves together pretty consistently. USAR had a big correction the last two weeks, but now you see steady consolidation at $11, $12, $13, and now today $14 on above average almost double volume. MP earnings on Thursday, USAR on 8/11. If the big boys like what they see and these domestic mining stonks can edge closer to break even, I could see it making several leaps up in the next week.

Moved 50% into USAR, 25% UUUU, and 25% UEC Thu afternoon. All were oversold after two weeks of losses, and tariffs going into effect on the stans we import this shit from figured they’d bounce back. Basically the only green on my watch lists aside from home builders. Trying to decide if I’m going to let it ride another couple days, or pull out everything premarket tomorrow
