If you're serious, your real earning potential is far more likely to come from your skillset. Mechanical Engineers in the automotive and space industry are making solid 6-figure salaries and up. Too many ME students have no experience with production (welding, CNC, CMM) which gives you a leg up. Do your engineering undergrad at a community college (no bigger scam than student loans), and then transfer to one of the big ME schools, and you'll have a relatively easy ticket to a fat salary that is growing with automation.

The purpose of the loan is for traders to use it to help maintain the UST peg, no? If you think about it $1.5B Isn’t a lot compared to how much TVL they’ve lost in Anchor recently. It was down 45% in 24 hours last time I checked. If that loss was enough to bring the protocol to Its knees, then wouldn’t they need to loan enough to cover the 45% they lost? It’s about $7 billion. Also I would’ve thought VC money is more like a grant. Something that they don’t have to pay back. I’d expect it would take a lot more than a $1.5 billion cash injection to secure the future of Terra if they were in big trouble.

While I flat out agree with you, I think there’s actually a friendly / mass appeal to doge that no other crypto has, it’s like crypto for casuls- I can’t really see too much of a downside holding or even trading with a small bit at a time if you look at it as investment in practice or amusement- This is an open invitation, please CMM (change my mind)!

Isn't it just gimmicky? I mean I tried defi but everytime I do it is slow, expensive and it's very user unfriendly. I mean I think it's cool and all (very fascinated by it) but the end products are simply worse than their centralised versions. CMM. It's like "yay we're cutting out the middelman" and then it's more expensive and slower lol.
