They explain in last dev update you'll need to stack DGTX token in order to have 0 fees taker/maker. If not, you will pay fees like other exchange. They also have multiple features that are build with their governance token, like liquidity mining etc ...

Their whitepaper says they get the revenue by minting new DGTX coins. So essentialy, you get zero fees by holding their DGTX token. The exchange then mints new tokens to cover operations (revenue?). If the exchange takes off, that inflation may not even disturb the coin's price. So that's neat. I'll try them too and update if anything changes.
You are right! Personally, I've used low-fee exchanges like Kraken and Binance. I didn't like their service though, so I started researching exchanges that have similar low fees. Turns out, there aren't many of them. Exchanges like [crypto.com](https://crypto.com) only offer you zero fees for some time. Gladly, a quick Google search shows [digitex.io](https://digitex.io). I've read their whitepaper, and from what I understand, their revenue model is based on emitting DGTX coin. So as long as you hold some DGTX, you can trade with 0 fees. I haven't found any alternatives though.

I came across [this article](https://digitexcity.medium.com/digitex-insider-trading-again-5d3479341c2a) from 2 months ago accusing the owner and team members of insider trading. Selling off 400k coins at 3 cents shortly before adding 300M coins to the circulation which diluted the price due to inflation. Certainly doesn't given confidence to investors. But I also think with the rise of BTC, they have a good use case for trading BTC/ETH Futures on a zero commission platform. Once new traders delve into futures, I think the value of the coin is likely to rise. I'll be keeping an eye on DGTX and may take a small position here.
