Polycat.Finance has been my goto alt project because it has existed since the dawn of Polygon Mainnet. It has passed several audits and has quietly been chugging along. The project's liquidity is shared through 1inch and has lower trading fees than most larger exchanges; granted, the token selection is limited. The governance/utility token is called FISH, which can be deposited in the vault to earn a dividend that is based on the performance of the dividend vaults. Rewards are paid in PAW, which is the project's reward token. FISH has a max supply of 3,000,000, which has already been mined, while PAW has no max supply. It was a risky play that has kept surprising me with how uneventful and smooth it functions. My favorite part, by far, though? No rug pulls!

It's a ledger that verifies it's own transactions without any oversight. That's the revolutionary part: decentralization. And for all intents and purposes to IBM, it does record actual ownership of the fish, not ownership of the ACTUAL FISH, if that makes sense. The data could be entered falsely, but wouldn't be verified by the network.

Because they pay you that return in FISH, and the APY assumes no one else joins the pool, and the price of FISH never drops a penny. Providing liquidity for an exchange token can be a *massive* money loser, becuase you're essentially providing exit funds (WETH) for anyone else providing liquidity and getting rewarded in 'free' FISH that lets them withdraw WETH from the pool you're filling.

ETH is my biggest gamble. lol I threw a few dollars at the $FISH ASA on Algo, but only because they’re getting oceans and rivers cleaned and that’s actually something useful.

FISH Went deep into it at ~20$, went to over 60$ in a few days, few hundred dollars was realistic at that time so I stayed in Wild staking rewards, got hundreds of FISH over weeks Now it is at ~1$ for months🙄😭 I don't sell tho bcs Lambo or Food Stamps Maybe it goes back to 20 in 5 years or so🤣
