I don’t think anyone was saying you were actually trying to dupe anyone - I think we’re all just accustom to seeing “HEY, NOT A SCAM!” in DMs and such….. and it 100% being a scam lolol. So it’s funny and relevant

Can't say exactly but I can say my Average cost on RH alone is 49,433 right now. I can remember buying it for the first time around 19k but then I did some savvy tradin and also a bit of FOMOin. But HEY I am actually just glad this post made me look cause its below 50k now for the first time in like a year and I have seen my average there as high as 60ish. I have an EW but I don't think I can see an average cost there. But any that got to there stay there and on RH I don't go below 1 and trade .20 on dips. Which, (while taking forever) is helping. Good luck all! Go BTC!!!

> However, They currently have provided No framework whatsoever for Anyone to determine if it is or isnt a security. Isn't that what the Howey test is? > So far Every company which has gone in to talk to them about following the rules, and coming under regulatory clarity has ended up getting Punished for trying to discuss with them how to follow the law. So these companies applied the Howey test in their own analysis, didn't like the results, then went whining to the SEC, "we're gonna go ahead with this stuff anyway, please tell us it's OK pretty please because if you don't tell us to stop we're going to go ahead anyway." > If Bittrex ask's them, Hey can we Sell these? are these securities? and the SEC says nothing for 5 years.... and then after 5 years says HEY that thing you were selling is illegal and you should of known it was illegal the whole time. Hopefully you can see how absurd that is. I don't think that's absurd at all. The text message evidence in this case seems to show very clearly that Bittrex *did* know all along that many of these products should be classified as securities. There was no need for them to ask the SEC when their own analysis resulted in them privately coaching whitepaper authors to retroactively remove securities-like language from whitepapers. Bittrex knew exactly what they were doing wrong here. I work in a field which involves analysis and enforcement of legal compliance as well as compliance with business terms of service. Bittrex's behavior here is very familiar to me. It's a common tactic used by bad actors. They intend to do something they know is wrong, so beforehand they will reach out to an authority figure and seek either approval, or an unreasonably detailed list of prohibited actions which they are hoping will be narrower than the plain language of regulations, statutes, or terms of service. They do this with the intent of looking for possible loopholes, and also so that they can take any lack of response as tacit approval. This behavior is practically evidence of wrongdoing in and of itself. It is ethically bankrupt. It shows that the actor is aware of their wrongdoing, but intends to proceed anyway and so they are probing for weaknesses in enforcement. Coinbase engages in the same tactics FWIW. This is the subtext to the narrative of their Earn product vs SEC.

> I don't think there is, or should be, a burden on the SEC to proactively identify every cryptocurrency project which runs afoul of securities laws, and to advise exchanges of these findings. New projects were popping up daily in 2017. I'm not saying they should go through all 10,000 projects 1 at a time and green light or red light them. However, They currently have provided No framework whatsoever for Anyone to determine if it is or isnt a security. So far Every company which has gone in to talk to them about following the rules, and coming under regulatory clarity has ended up getting Punished for trying to discuss with them how to follow the law. >Bittrex is trying to blame the SEC as if they somehow forced Bittrex to sell unregistered securities If Bittrex ask's them, Hey can we Sell these? are these securities? and the SEC says nothing for 5 years.... and then after 5 years says HEY that thing you were selling is illegal and you should of known it was illegal the whole time. Hopefully you can see how absurd that is.

Just another cult of personality, with a spokesperson who can manipulate suggestible investors. Not trying to be patronising here for holders of ADA. But think Charles Hoskinson for ADA. Or HEY HEY HEY! Except HEX has gotta be useless af compared to the likes of ADA which besides the egotism of Charles has potential for plenty of good.

for perspective i was sending aol instant messages (back in 1996) to people explaining that i was in fact a super supervisor and i needed their password to verify it was really them. it didn't matter than my user name was BUDWISER69, they still fell for it like 3% of the time. it's just a numbers game. if that big bold red message that says "HEY WE ARE NOT EVER GOING TO ASK YOU FOR YOUR PASSWORD" doesn't stop people from giving it out... nothing will.

In the moment, and once it's gone you're hollow and itchy like a shriveled legume curled up on a lawn chair with no towel or water to drink, just the crisp breeze permeating the clammy pores of your sweaty, gray body right before you get kidnapped by El Chapo in his helicopter and they ask you "WHERE THE FU- IS MA MONAY" and you're like HEY hey I don't know. The maid slipped me some ambien I don't even kn- and El Chapo interrupts you and hes like "I BROKE OUT OF MAXI TO SERVE YOU MOTHRFAWKEEE- but then he explodes because the government's been tracking him this whole time and they reward you a million dollars. And the cycle continues. Forever.
