You’re the one calling the Democratic Party communist. You do know there are actual communist parties in the US? Didn’t know supporting a woman’s right to choose and wanting LGBTQ people to be able to marry and adopt is communism…

Well, according to his website, he has no policies outside of cryptocurrency so I guess you got me on that. He does seem to say “fight Washington corruption”, whatever that means. Since he’s officially running as a Republican, I can assume he follows the Republican platform. So I disagree with him on taxes, federal and state government size, regulation of corporations, labor unions, gun rights, pornography, drug legalization, abortion, separation of church and state, laissez-faire economics, government austerity, government welfare spending, education, privatize healthcare, climate change and environmental regulation, affirmative action, DEI, capital punishment, immigration, LGBTQ support, etc. Should I go on?

Which part of the political spectrum is removing books from libraries? Restricting teachers from teaching the truth about history? Keeping women from controlling their bodies? Trying to keep people from voting? Trying to stop people from legalizing marijuana? Trying to stop LGBTQ people from living their lives as they want and marry who they want? Passing laws allowing minors to work in dangerous conditions? Which side? You're full of shit if you think todays conservative is for freedom. They want businesses to be able to use up any resource they want and fuck whoever gets in the way of making money. Give me an example of the government telling you what investments you can make. The United Sates has plenty of "socialist" entities that anyone can use and it makes peoples lives better. Ever heard of public roads? The left is advocating for better working conditions and higher pay so that people can afford to live. Fuck them, right?

Because most people vote on social issues. I don’t like Liz Warren’s crypto crusade any more that you do but expanding the ACA, addressing wage inequality, protecting a woman’s choice, LGBTQ rights, the climate crisis, and maintaining a separation between church and state are all more important to me.

tldr; The Tezos Art Community is set to take over South Beach during Art Basel, featuring an exhibition, panels, and performances at the Nautilus Hotel. Over 50 works of contemporary digital art minted on Tezos will be showcased, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Trevor Project for suicide prevention among LGBTQ+ youth. The event will also include an AR scavenger hunt for NFTs hidden along South Beach, marking the first such global collaboration across the ecosystem organized with support from the Tezos Foundation. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. Fair points about the litter and the stray dogs. And I agree, the social fabric there does seem strong. That has its pluses and minuses. The country is an awful place as far as LGBTQ+ rights are concerned. But the communities did seem cohesive, all the kids heading to school and back in their uniforms, large family groups spending time together.

The one thing that's gives me confidence is you can never underestimate how greedy human beings are. When degenerates are investing in dogecoin and thinking they will be billionaires just shows you how many dumb greedy people there are and there's more entering the market all the time. The biggest threat to bitcoin is the woke LGBTQ movement and agenda. If population decreases in the western world then bitcoin is done for.

All regulations are one-sided. The agency in question takes on the responsibility that is ordinarily assigned to the three branches of the government and puts it all together so that they will create, interpret, and enforce the regulations as they see fit, and without congress explicitly authorizing legal action as a remedy, the agency will not be held liable for anything, even intentional bad acts that cause death and other harm. When the actions are so egregious that it deviates further from the already one-sided regulations, it's always blamed on one or two people as scapegoats instead of an institutional issue, which it almost always is. This is something that affects both ends of the political spectrum although in a way neither side has it quite right. Conspiracy theorists tend to entirely misunderstand how administrative law works (which is perfectly natural as it tends to be extremely esoteric, but it also means that it's also immediately clear who is talking out of their ass). The way they think agencies conspire actually typically would violate the very limited guardrails that actually exist - as they are all arbitrary and capricious and also, without at least notice if not notice + commentary for regulations that alter legal obligations substantively. The thing is, notice + commentary is fine and all, but the agency is free to ignore the commentary or give answers that are entirely BS or doesn't answer the comment. The DEA, when they still actively sought comments when they reschedule formulations of medications, have flat out said things akin to "patient access is none of our concern". The Trump Administration failed to deregulate not because of the merits but instead, because somehow they couldn't hire counsel that can follow the very specific but not at all difficult rules that must be followed to a tee but are extremely favorable to the government. The current administration is literate (thank god, although it does bring up the question why it kept so much of the last administration's stupid policies until stopped by the coutts). Unfortunately, it for some reason has this fantasy that crypto is some sort of engine that creates more inequality, when in reality it counters the captured nature of banking regulators and allows for the unbanked, the second class citizens (those with criminal records, entered without inspection, the massively indebted thanks to student loans who are essentially stuck in life, etc), and other have-nots another opportunity. I've used localbitcoins for half a decade before it got shut down and every person I dealt with in the US is a minority, either racial or LGBTQ+, and it's not as if they advertise that in their ads. I know this only because I develop relationships with the more reliable traders and with that, comes chit-chat, but that narrative is conspicuously absent in the crypto discourse which is very curious. Or very normal, considering that the agencies don't really answer to direct political or judicial pressure and hence, they can do what they want as long as they follow the rules. Coherency is a low bar. How about sensible, fair, and effective in achieving specific, narrowly tailored goals with as little collateral damage as possible? If only the system is set up to allow that to happen with greater ease, and if the banks and the SEC aren't in a more incestuous relationship than most porn of that genre.

I don't think it's a part of the conversation at all, at least not for the vast majority of the population. I think if you were to head to the streets and ask a thousand people what was on their mind as important topics, you'd find answers like education, abortion, LGBTQ, foreign policy, immigration, crime, inflation/jobs/wages. You'd be hard-pressed to find anybody who cares about bitcoin or AI when it comes to the conversation around the election.

Finally, they’re acting on their fear of government control and embracing crypto as an alternative currency. They like guns for the same reason. So they can chant freedom and feel prepared in the face of potential tyranny. Now if they can only stop being hypocrites and trying to take away freedom from women who want to get abortions and LGBTQ people that just want to be treated like normal people. That’s a tall order though, bc I can’t see Republicans ever realizing they are the tyrannical government they’re afraid of.

There is a heavy libertarian ethos in crypto, particularly Bitcoin. I just want to state here that I for one (who would have picked Elizabeth Warren/Andrew Yang as my dream 2020 ticket) am: Anti-Trump Pro-vax Anti-YouTube fueled conspiracy theories Pro LGBTQ And most importantly PRO-CRYPTO!

I like Trump more than the Biden-administration, but I don't particularly like Trump. I'm no "AnTiVaXxEr!!!!", but I'm an anti-mRNAvaxxer (with good reason based on the reports that keeps coming through the censorship-wall). I remember when the lab leak theory was just a conspiracy theory among those who didn't want to see and didn't want to think for themselves. I don't know what's worse, compliance/submission or ignorance. LGBTQ+, fine. But if you tell me that you identify as a pizza, don't expect me to be a part of your "batshit" crazy reality. Oh, and keep your woke-ideology far away from me, and we'll be fine.

It's much more than that. Here are 20 examples of ideas or concepts that were initially not accepted by society: 1. Heliocentric model of the solar system proposed by Copernicus. 2. Evolution theory presented by Charles Darwin. 3. Germ theory of disease put forth by Louis Pasteur. 4. Galileo's support for heliocentrism and telescope discoveries. 5. Einstein's theory of general relativity. 6. Freud's psychoanalytic theories. 7. Wright brothers' invention of the airplane. 8. Marie Curie's research on radioactivity. 9. Alan Turing's concept of a universal computing machine (computer). 10. Women's suffrage movement for women's right to vote. 11. Martin Luther King Jr.'s fight against racial segregation and for civil rights. 12. Copernican Revolution challenging the geocentric view of the universe. 13. Plate tectonics theory explaining the movement of Earth's continents. 14. Quantum theory revolutionizing physics. 15. Genetic engineering and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). 16. Human rights movements advocating for equal rights and freedoms. 17. LGBTQ+ rights movements fighting for equal recognition and acceptance. 18. Environmentalism and the awareness of climate change. 19. Artificial intelligence and machine learning advancements. 20. Internet and the digital revolution transforming communication and information access. These examples illustrate how groundbreaking ideas or movements often face resistance and skepticism before being accepted by society. The list may go on with Top100 without making a dent in our infantile arrogance we already know better. History repeats. And that's another item in a neverending list.

Well I'll be damned, you are right. I understand the desire for less bureaucracy and taxes. But as for the other aspects of the conservative agenda, e.g... - Force child rape victims to carry their pregnancy to full term - Convince rednecks not to tax billionaires to fund health care because SoSHuLiSM - Persecute the LGBTQ+ communiity ...I can't understand why any thinking person would sign up to that.

I totally disagree. Look at the LGBTQ movement, when the movement was just starting there were not that many people out in the open so it would seem that the community was really small. But then as the movement became more vocal, people aligned themselves with it and made real progress. Not saying that crypto = LGBTQ but in many ways, it's considered to be "in poor taste" to actively proclaim to be in crypto. When you do people just label you as a crypto bro. Yet stats show that a significant portion of the US population holds crypto.
