Check the Kujira ecosystem if you have time. It's a Cosmos chain that is trying to be the complete DeFi playground. I've been farming the MNTA/USK and MNTA/axlUSDC pools for some months now. APR is around 80% with MNTA incentives, and MNTA has also exploded in value. But I believe the incentives only last until the end of November.
Because it's only 1% interest to mint USK and at the moment you get 27% to lend it out. So when I'm not buying I lend it out for that 26% difference. Once I see something interesting to buy, then I deploy.
Right now I'm borrowing against them. Waiting for significant pullbacks to deploy the borrowed stables, which at the moment are being lent out (22% to lend out USK now). Keeping exposure to the upside while utilizing part of the value. Like having your cake and eating (a bit of) it too.

Been using Kuji for a bit, even got a Shrimp on Mint. Had the Woocommerce USK plugin for my moms small business too since I build the website for her candles...but Hans is too busy to fix some bugs in it. The plugin would disable Square payments outsight and boomers aint about to use USK yet...
You missing some should take a look at USK and SILK . From smaller project usk is from kujira and sulk from shade protocol , silk is not peg to USD it peg via a basket of good and private as long it stay on the scrt network ....
I'd say USK will still have that decentralized stablecoin narrative going for it, even with the arrival of native USDC. That, plus the "real yield" narrative makes Kujira an interesting prospect. Hopefully they can sort out the closed source issue.

You can - stake in the wallet and gain real yield in multiple coins, - place LP in BOW, buy/sell on FIN, -has its own stablecoin USK that you can mint by collateralising Atom, stAtom, Dot, weth and many more, - lend and borrow on GHOST, - and my favourite which is bidding for liquidation on OCRA.
People usually mint these overcollaterized stablecoins to leverage their positions. So, for example, you provide $100 worth of ATOM to mint $20 worth of USK. Then use that USK to buy more ATOM. Now your position in ATOM is $120. This process amplifies your profits, but also your losses.
I've never heard of USK. I sure as hell wouldn't be messing with it then.
We have multiple decentralized stables ATM, that are over collateralized. IST, USK, Harbor, and more are being worked on. They aren’t as popular yet, because market liquidity in Cosmos is still fairly low, but once the economies of various chains start to go, these stables will become as important or more important than USDC.
