Starting now? Maybe not except a few rare ones. I'm lucky enough to have picked up KUJI at 0.25 in mid 2022 and it's sitting around 5.00 now. There are good small coins out there buried in a sea of shit.
Not thinking in terms of USD can give you different insights into the relative strengths of different assets. ETH/BTC is a common one but I also like swapping coins within an ecosystem I believe in, like Cosmos. More ATOM or more KUJI, it's all good.

Heard they had a super disappointing update recently. I follow a huge KUJI supporter on Twitter, and he said he expected a lot more, that it was missing basic functionality, and that he’s now looking to exit. Price action following the release suggests he wasn’t alone in that opinion. Might want to be a bit careful on that one.

Funny that I barely have any conviction on my largest bag (INJ). Looking to rotate a portion to KUJI and AKT at some point.
Cardano and Bitcoin are probably safe plays. I don't know that I would keep such a tight basket, though. Especially considering Maya Protocol is integrating Cardano for native ADA <-> BTC swaps. This will allow you to swap BTC & ADA to and from other assets like ETH, KUJI, & even DASH. Might be a good idea to diversify a tiny bit more than just 2 assets, and there is an easy way to do it through Maya.
Pls ser sell some of that TAO and pump our KUJI bags.
No buyers, there's someone selling 600 KUJI per hour for days now. KUJI liquidity is not that good.

Staking TIA seems to be the hottest method right now. I also stake other Cosmos projects like ATOM, INJ, and KUJI. Claimed Dymension and Namada in the past few weeks, hopefully a few more coming up soon (AltLayer, Saga, Milky). The JUP drop on Solana later this month should be big too. I missed that one unfortunately. But there's definitely still some action to be had on Solana. I use Drift Protocol which has hinted at future airdrops, for example.
My larger cap plays are SOL, INJ, IMX. Below that I like AKT, KUJI, STX, BEAM, and my micro-cap long shots are Astroport, Shido, and Flux. I could shill you them all, because I only invest in projects I like, but you should look into them yourself if interested.
Might just add to my KUJI bags if it dips further.

Akash has done well for me. I like the whole DePIN narrative. SOL and INJ in the L1 space. STX, as I think Bitcoin L2s could be hot this cycle. And I like Cosmos, so I'm holding coins like KUJI and TIA too, albeit smaller bags.
I've been buying INJ, KUJI, AKT, and TIA, but can't bring myself to give up my ATOM. It's actually in profit, but I haven't added to it for a few months. Still hopeful that it'll have its day, considering how strong the overall ecosystem is looking.

A lot of the time you just need to be natively staking ATOM (not via a CEX). Quite a few dropping for INJ, OSMO, KUJI, TIA stakers recently too. Some DApp token drops might take into account on-chain activity.
Might pick up some TAO and RUNE now. Will also add to TIA and KUJI bags if they dip further.

If you can, keep the faith. I dumped the last few dollars from the LUNA collapse into KUJI and it's now up 16X and I've gained some air drops too. Your first time around the cycle is brutal but it's where you learn important lessons.
I've heard ATOM tokenomics are bad though especially for long term ROI. But got a bunch (+ OSMO + KUJI + TIA + INJ) for staking airdrops and am pleasantly surprised by how easy the ecosystem is to navigate having spent a few weeks messing around with depps and Kepler staking.
Sell $SOL and invest in something with more upside like $ATOM and $KUJI. Sol ran, it may go higher, but probably not much.
Half on $KUJI and Kujira projects, the other half on r/Maya_Protocol: $MAYA, $CACAO, and LP's. Instead of gambling on shitcoins with no fundamentals or high-cap creepers like BTC I'd be looking to go 10x - 30x.

I'm keeping my eye on the Cosmos network, since it's still fairly small compared to others, but is gaining hugely in popularity recently. There's not many memecoins on Cosmos at the moment so I think there's a decent chance of making significant gains on the few that are there. There's a new token called DOKI that I'm keeping an eye on, take a look on their twitter/telegram. You can get it free in their first airdrop happening shortly. You have to stake either INJ, KUJI, ODIN, or some others to be eligible. You get the most DOKI for staking ODIN, which coincidentally I think has 100x potentially easily. It's to support a network where users can monetise their data, market cap current under 5mil. So yeah for me DOKI and ODIN (although not a memocoin) are my best bets for 2024.
TIA, KUJI, ETH, and i have big faith in the L3 on arbitrum galler Xai. I also run nodes for XAI, so big bet on this!

Maybe you are unintentionally doing some fancy contract interaction with a bunch of different wallets (this cropped up for me when I went to stake some KUJI and the default 'optimized' selection was to stake it in equally small parts among the top 50 most reliable stakers or something.)

Some good ones on here: AKT, Pyth, KUJI, INJ, and of course BTC and ETH. I also have Kaspa and BlocX as PoW coins have been pumping though I see less growth moving forward for >1B MC coins.
$KUJI from KUJIRA Started life on old Terra. Got Wiped out like everyone else in the crash. Then started their own blockchain L1, honoured all token holders 1-1 from Terra to KUJI. Built non stop since then. Now have multiple DeFi dApps earning stakers fees etc. My no1 hodl for the bull run 📈💪🏼
The LUNA, yes, that will take a long time to recover from. The projects on LUNA had some great devs and creatives though so when it all crashed I picked one that had a good platform and just chose the wrong chain. KUJI is really well placed for DeFi to replace the centralised exchanges. Also got my bag of BTC with DCA, playing the long game too.

KUJI is a special purpose L1 focused on DEFI so its on track to offer a lot of what you can do on Binance but the difference is the revenue goes to stakers Real yield with current 90 day revenue puts the apr at over 10%
Thanks man. I didn't know about defillama , great tool. Thanks to u and defillama I found out that this KUJI/USDC pool actually uses bridged USDC. If it wasn't for you I would have got reg USDC and would have created a new pool instead of joining an existing one lol. I read about IL and that's one of the reasons i'm starting with basic stablecoins pairs just so it's easier to understand the mechanics and intuit if i'm losing $. Quick question: I guess anyone can create a scam token and create a pool in uniswap with amazing APY. Would that be the kind of situation in which they can do a pull rug and steal my tokens that i deposited in that pool? Thanks again for your answer.
Thanks a lot. I was able to find the pool (KUJI/USDC) in Geckoterminal and i think i was able to find the pool contract number (ending in afd7)? Do you know how I can use the pool contract number to find the pool in the uniswap site as well (info.uniswap.org/#/arbitrumpools/pools)? I pasted the contract # in the search box of uniswap website and still no results. If u are not sure it's OK. I guess once I add liquidity to this pool (uniswap v3 arbitrum)I will always be able to see my personal position in uniswap site and will always be able to collect my coins (pressing "remove liquidity" button)and extra earnings even if I don't see the pool itself along the other pools(in the uniswap site itself not in others like coingecko). I wonder why uniswap v3 on arbitrum itself is unable to show more than 50 pools but defillama shows there are 236 pools and coingecko shows 304 pools all for the same uniswap v3 on arbitrum. Maybe I'm missing something in my queries but maybe defi is so new that many of the sites struggle to have updated information lol. Thanks again for your reply
Thanks for your reply. I was able to find KUJI token contract # in coingecko and searching more I was able to find the KUJI/USDC.E pool in coingecko as well. I didn't know that i will need bridged USDC to add to this pool so far I thought I would only need regular USDC. I guess I can swap some ETH for USDC.E using metamask and once i'm done with the pool i can always switch back USDC.E back to ETH or regular USDC without issues right? I'm so new to DEFI that i need to ask this basic questions cuz i don't think common sense will be enough. Thanks again for your reply.

I was late to the party with KUJI, but still up 20%, can't complain. Long term ATOM holder, and consolidated my entire portfolio into BTC and ATOM during the bear, but gradually started branching out again recently. Also holding BLD and AKT which are doing alright.

Yo, that's crazy that you remember the coins I hold lol. Unfortunately I sold my TAO bag at a loss. But yeah, been really happy with how INJ and KUJI have performed recently. Hope you get success with your bags as well.
I'm looking at $ONI first and foremost. A layer 0 dag hybrid for onchain digital identity, data privacy and security servicing Enteprise with a market cap of only 4m. Regulatory compliance in Germany which is one of the hardest to get in Europe, government state backed funding, partnerships with businesses wanting to move into the blockchain space and testnet launching December 21st 2023 with mainnet to follow early 2024. It's closest competitor is probably Azero with a MC of 200m, if Azero gets to 1bn MC that's a 5x which is still pretty decent but a 5X for ONI is still just 20m, to reach Azero current market cap is a 50x and to reach a billion is a 250x so the potential for a blockchain with real world usecase has significant upside compared to its competitors. Some other coins to look at would be $KAS which is a POW with 10-100 Blocks per second capabilities, solved the blockchain trillema as a layer 1 which everyone said wasn't possible. The best part is the founder was referenced in Ethereum whitepaper as they used a simplified version of his technology to build ethereum and its been mentioned in a few other whitepaper too. It's marketcap is already pretty high at 1bn but I believe this takes #2 spot in the coming years. $SPACE is a layer 2 Bitcoin scaling solution which is working in the BVM (bitcoin virtual machine) its fast and cheap in comparison to BTC and also works as it's own layer 1. People say this next one is the Bitcoin of AI, $TAO or bittensor is an open source AI project that has been building neural networks for many applications and its completely decentralised. The governement are currently trying to stifle innovation with regulations regarding AI and yes we probably do need it to some extent but we all know they are going to over step and ruin it like they do with everything else which is why open source AI is essential. Then we have $TRIAS, $KUJI, $OLAS, $NXRA, & $VRA
