There are people full ported puts right now feeling good about the fact that there is no good catalyst on the horizon. This week: FOMC SEP OPEX The FOMC and SEP will coincide, we have not had a new SEP since the election. Powell is almost surely going to say dovish things as he is still required to defend his previous cuts and still intends to cut more. You can't do a historic .50 basis point cut then freak out after. The market has priced in 3 cuts this year, totaling .75 BP and if he is hawkish that will throw unnecessary fear into the market. Another reason jpow will be as dovish as possible is that the SEPA will be released, and there just isn't any data available to support a negative projection. There's plenty of fear and "what if", but there's no hard yet to speak of or to cite for a negative SEP. We are going to see in the SEP that the fed is indeed projecting 3 cuts this year which will affirm the market pricing and generate support if not upward movement in price. OPEX will occur this week and trillions of dollars in puts will expire, this alone has the capacity to cause a massive gamma dump to the positive as MM work to deleverage and dehedge. Every dollar the market recovers saves billions in premium for MM and the reality is nobody wants to see a real crash if your job is in that space. That is just this week. There is also trade deals, peace deals, IPOs, M and A, and massive geopolitical breakthroughs on the horizon in the near term as the market sits at the bottom of histories 5th fastest ever 10% correction. This is NOT a safe place to buy puts. This isn't even a safe place to hold puts. One single event could trigger a bull sequence thay economists will write about in textbooks. If you want safety as a bear, exit the market asap, or maintain what you have knowing that you are currently holding the most risk. TSLA bears, your annoying anti elon rhetoric had nothing to do with the TSLA crash, and you should not expect headline pressure to continue supporting your thesis. DO NOT BE THE LAST BLUE HAIR screaming alone in a tsla dealership parking lot. i ALSO had same problem. I think that MAYBE the ACTUAL tickers should permayhaps be a bit more contrasty. and Maybe BLUE rather than graaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy. (Not red or green for my colorblind brethern, or colourblind cousins.)

However, they were attacked when at anchor between Eritrea and Yemen in the Red Sea, which is obviously not on the way to Singapore (they dropped anchor after a previous attack). The Sounion is Greek Flagged, and is owned by [\~Delta Tankers\~](https://www.deltatankers.gr/). The crew was rescued before the tanker was blown up, they were 23 Filipino, 2 Russians, and 4 security personnel (nationality not stated). The M/V Sounion did not request an escort when sailing past Yemen, despite the fact that two other tankers also owned by Delta Tankers were attacked by the Houthis on Aug 7-8; the [\~Delta Atlantica\~](https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:214176/mmsi:636018765/imo:9419101/vessel:DELTA_ATLANTICA) (161,762 t dwt) and the [\~Delta Blue\~](https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/details/ships/shipid:713774/mmsi:636021700/imo:9601235/vessel:DELTA_BLUE)(158322 t dwt), both Liberia flagged. *So why did these ships not request an escort?* Delta Tankers allegedly operates part of the [\~Russian "Dark Fleet"\~](https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/in-depth-research-reports/issue-brief/russias-growing-dark-fleet-risks-for-the-global-maritime-order/), a [\~fleet of \~1,300 tankers\~](https://windward.ai/knowledge-base/illuminating-russias-shadow-fleet/) owned by dozens of unscrupulous oil shipping companies carrying illicit sanctions busting Russian crude oil around the World.
