BWA HA HA HA ... you dont know me kid, your assumptions validate my statements. good luck to you, and your MAGAt leader. Your generation is the one that will suffer the most
If you really want to catch some of the potential fallout from tarrifs on auto sales you’ll look at the supply chain for vulnerabilities. 1. BorgWarner Inc. (BWA): An American automotive and e-mobility supplier headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. BorgWarner operates manufacturing facilities worldwide and is a major supplier to various automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). 2. Magna International Inc. (MGA): A Canadian company that designs, engineers, and manufactures components, assemblies, and systems for OEMs of vehicles and light trucks globally. Magna operates through segments like Body Exteriors & Structures, Power & Vision, Seating Systems, and Complete Vehicles. 3. Lear Corporation (LEA): An American company specializing in automotive seating and electrical distribution systems. Lear supplies products to automotive OEMs across North America and other regions, focusing on seat systems and electrical components for light vehicles. 4. LKQ Corporation (LKQ): A provider of alternative and specialty parts to repair and accessorize automobiles and other vehicles. LKQ has operations in North America and sells replacement systems, components, and parts to repair and accessorize light vehicles. 5. Dorman Products, Inc. (DORM): A manufacturer of aftermarket automotive products in the United States. Dorman focuses on developing repair and replacement parts for cars and light trucks, identifying frequently failing components and offering solutions to the market. Look for the one whose accounts receivable numbers are depreciating the most and have at it. ;)
I bought BWA puts anticipating a drop when ETFs have to rebalance. Am I regarded?
S&P500 rebalancing today. Stocks being added: DoorDash, $DASH TKO Group, $TKO Williams Sonoma, $WSM Expand Energy, $EXE Stocks being removed: Borgwarner, $BWA Teleflex, $TFX Celeanese, $CE
I randomly pick BWA all in. Just watch.

I took out an Israel war dip homerun swing on MBLY. Dont need analysis on that decision, just please give me honest feedback back in if letting me know if im diversified enough to take on this large chunk risk Stocks: MBLY 17k NVDA 3k BWA .7k CHPT .3k ETFS: IYY 48.6k QQQ 16.4k IVV 15.3k VOO 12k DIA 12k EFG 10k
$650 on BWA stock, $500 on VRTX stock still holding F $12c ITM
Auto-parts strike trade is back on bois. BWA, ON, APTV, MBLY
parts suppliers up across the board, too: BWA, ON, APTV, MBLY
Auto parts companies holding up. BWA, ON, APTV, MBLY
Auto parts companies MBLY, APTV, MGA, BWA not moving at all pre-market. That means 1 of 2 things: 1) Strike impact already priced in 2) Too much sell volume for pre-market, so they'll wait til open. I'm thinking #2.
For everyone expecting some volatility after midnight, due to the looming UAW strike, here are the autoparts players with the most exposure to the short term volatility (in order): LEA (most exposure, prolly drop like a rock) MGNA (second highest exposure, but on the list of possible strike locations) BWA (meh, already loaded up on beaten-down shares) MBLY (almost no exposure, but pretty good dip buy) APTV (almost no exposure, but the best to buy calls on the sympathy dip)
BWA finally making my bank today.
Same as always while we're in this range: F and HBAN, UNH, BWA and VRTX. LMT 425c still underwater tho
If you believe it's better to sell shovels instead of panning for gold in the gold rush, buy BWA for the EV transition.
Excellent. Here's the recommendation for today. If you do well, please post somewhere on reddit so other people know. I am new to reddit and don't have enough karma to post at r/wallstreetbets. Buy BorgWarner Inc. (BWA) at market open. Sell equal amount of Vir Biotechnology, Inc. (VIR) at market open. Sell both when your profit reaches 1.5%. Be patient; this is not necessarily a daytrading arbitrage. Tell us how you did tomorrow.
Thoughts on BWA? It's one of the higher gainers today and it seems like analyst opinions have strengthened recently. P/E of around 10 and price/book of around 1.5 both seem on the low side for a stock with bullish qualities.
Figured a 4% drop day was as good a time as any of I wanted to do it. I don’t expect any big price moves from either BWA or GPK any time soon, but I like both companies and see them both as 5+ year holds. Not buying JBL when it was in 80s/90s is a big regret. I saw you mention it quite a few times, but thought I could time the market better lol. Told myself I’d wait and buy the earnings dip that never came… I also own STRL and CLH, got super lucky with my buy-in prices on both of those. Two of my best total returners! Super grateful for the daily discussion thread which gave me the ideas.
Rad you ended up pulling the trigger on GPK. BWA has been on my watchlists for a minute, just never ended up opening a position. I'm also green today, but thanks to STRL, CLH, TKR, JBL and WCC
Happy buying opportunity day everyone. Today I’m opening a position in GPK and doubling my position in BWA because it dipped down 4% to my average. My portfolio is up .11% because my portfolio is pretty much exactly half and half in red and green. Shoutout to my big greens: AMR and RYCEY. Thumbs down to the red who I’m still long on but continues to disappoint short-term: DAR. I’d buy more of you if I didn’t already have such a big position homey.
[ADEN.TO](https://ADEN.TO), [ATZ.TO](https://ATZ.TO) (ATZAF), MTCH, HHC, BWA, [CIGI.TO](https://CIGI.TO) (CIGI)
Looks like we're recovering from the morning bloodbath. As painful as they are, I do like red days to shore up some stocks. Averaged up on STRL and AGCO. Averaged down on BWA. Now I just bite my nails and wait on the CLFD ER AH. I'll either end the the day super sad or super happy on that one. May the fourth be with you all.
Long on BWA. Picked up some more shares because I thinks it’s oversold on not-too-terrible earnings.
BWA 1.09 misses 1.11 expected eps 4.18 Billion beats 4.16 expected revenue
BWA, GTX - They make turbos I wouldn’t mind putting on my future lambo
I know morningstar covers them. You might want to check out their analysis, I know they're bullish on BWA.
Anyone here follow BWA? Starting look into them, seeing if anyone has any thoughts or opinions. Thanks.
Spent yesterday updating analysts 12-month price target scenarios for my entire watch list (\~400 companies), after latest earnings baked in...and the top 10 farthest from analysts' targets as of noon today (i.e., largest upside)... CRSP, APA, BWA, MRNA, GPK, F, AMAT, UNH, NXPI, GOOGL, all >30% below target prices
Posted about BWA earnings this morning. Market seems pretty about it. I don’t own any shares but it’s an interesting way to play autos and evs.
$BWA reported this morning. I don’t own them, but have been following. Q4 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.26 beats by $0.18. Revenue of $4.11B (+12.6% Y/Y) beats by $220M. 2O23 Outlook: Net sales are expected to be in the range of $16.7-$17.5B, compared with 2022 sales of $15.8B. This implies a YOY organic increase in sales of 7% to 12%. Adj, operating margin is expected to be in the range of 10.0%-10.4%. Net EPS $3.81 to $4.13/diluted share Electric Vehicle Sales $1.5B-$1.8B
No position, but BWA looks petty cheap compared to their growth right now.
Need BWA to hire me so that I can think about markets and math all day everyday for the rest of this pathetic life
I’d kill for an internship at BWA 😭😭😭
Sounds like a double beat and good guidance from BWA > The auto supplier also issued solid guidance despite the inflation headwinds it is facing. BWA expects full-year oragnic sales to be up 11% to 14% and EPS to land in a range of $4.00 to $4.40 vs. $3.90 to $4.25 prior and $4.02 consensus. Operating margin of 8.4% to 8.8% is anticipated for the year and operating cash flow of $1.50B to $1.55B vs. $1.57B.
If it helps make it easier, imagine that one item from Costco is one share. One box of that item is 100 shares. A pallet of those boxes is 1,000 shares. A truckload of those pallets is 10,000 shares. The brontosaurus buys in truckloads. She can buy truckloads of one index. Say, 10,000 shares of SPY. Or she can ask for the truckload to be filled with boxes/pallets from different tickers. So three pallets of AAPL stock, two pallets of GOOG; one pallet of AMD; one pallet of BRK.B; and so on. And some pallets are made up of boxes of different stocks--BWA, BXP, and those stocks that are part of the S&P 500 but don't have much weight. The brontosaurus approves what will be in the truckload, and then just buys those truckloads throughout the day. The exchange working with the brontosaurus already knows how many shares from each ticker need to be in each truckload. So when the brontosaurus buys 5 truckloads, all those shares are bought.
> Fed today has lot more credibility than Volcker Fed. HAHAHAHA! BWA-HAHAHAHA! Ah... good one. Stop. My sides hurt. STAHP!
Just started buying BWA, MU, INTC, GOOG, DIS, GLW, U Will add Ford if it drops under 10 and SoFi if it drops under 5 (very speculative) Also interested in DE and CAT. and maybe RIVN if I can get it under 7 a share. I DCA in small amounts on BWA, MU, INTC, GOOG, DIS, GLW, and U cause I'm not sure we've even come close to a bottom but I also can forecast the future!!

Autozone, BWA, DHI, DRI, GPC, HRB, …….etc have all done well through historically weak “risk off” periods. You may be right in saying many discretionary stocks are to be shorted here, but you need to understand how institutional fund managers manage money, many of them only manage one sector, so for every sector there are managers that will look for stocks within their sector that are more recession resistant or growth oriented than others and will buy them and sell or short the others. If you can identify the stocks within each sector that qualify as those these managers will chose in a bad stock environment, you’ll do well. I’ve managed money for over two decades at large institutions, understanding money flow is probably the most important factor of investing, and this concept is the largest.
I’m just a Ber With Attitude (BWA)
BWA is gonna pop off on earnings
Someone on here said to expect something big from BWA a few weeks ago and it has not yet materialized. It will probably happen the day after my calls expire
Cash :$ and some hard to find value plays like $BWA :)
Article says BWA is 47% undervalued. Bought some OTM calls and see if it rips in the next month. I should probably grab some Puts as well because that's just how shit goes when these articles are being published.
Not saying I know anything... But **BWA** is going to run soon :)
Why buy EV when you can buy the EV supplier BWA
Just buy BWA and WDC and thank me next year !!
Risk to reward too high. It's already close to ATH. More downside chance than upside. Cost is too high to enter call positions for a retracement situation and little upward move. Delta doesn't favor this move. Have to load up hard to pick up delta and cost is too high. Just by looking at the chart and not diving in to financial analysis, very risky play for minimal return Potential. Tons of other plays out there that are cheaper and further out to allow room for growth with less theta burn. The only play here if you really want to get in on this, is with actual shares. Set a stop loss anywhere in the high $80's and just wait it out. I'd recommend PEP, BWA, SNDR or CSX over this.
Nice. Wanted to go in FB but didn't like the chart setup...went into PEP, BWA, MNST, MSFT, SNAP, BP, VLO & EPAY OTM calls.
We did whole car assembly, batteries, motors, chargers; next must be trannies Long BWA, Elliot Page
For every NEW EV .. I see 10 New F250s.. 10 New 4Runners... Silverados... Yep the New vehicle Market is on 🔥.... I like BWA and MOG.A As they will build parts for 100% of vehicles...

I saw on cnbc that some analyst group reduced forecasts for auto production today. not a great sign for auto sellers or their suppliers, like ticker BWA / MGA.
Lots of things in the ARK funds are interesting but far too expensive for me to buy at the moment... If they fall in a loss of confidence, things like SNOW etc. could be interesting high growth plays for the next 10Y. Right now, though, I'm pretty bullish 10 years out on BJ, BWA, INTC, and HEAR.
warrants were originally a buck so atleast that makes me feel better lol Simultaneously with the closing of the Initial Public Offering, the Company consummated the sale of 4,800,000 warrants (the “Private Warrants”) at a price of $1.00 per Private Warrant in a private placement to BWA Holdings LLC (the “Sponsor”) and EarlyBirdCapital, Inc. (“EarlyBirdCapital”), generating gross proceeds of $4,800,000, which is described in Note 4.
BWA finally gaining today. I guess auto parts are back on the menu.
This has been an interesting season. BWA is down -5% today in spite of earnings beat because revenue in Q3/Q4 won't match Q1 (lower vehicle prod & supply constraints). I bought Jan 21st '21 $50c anyway.
BWA and MGA aren't a direct chip play but they are essential to car manufacturers and appear to be on sale due to the slow down.
Bullish on the manufacturers behind EV - so not necessarily the car companies but those who make the equipment needed (which also tends to be useful for other industries too). I’ve had decent returns already on $BWA after a short time, and when I have time I’m going to do my DD and branch out to some other companies.
BWA sells auto parts to both
Anyone have any thoughts on BWA?
BWA weekly candle chart. Each candle is represents 1 week. 50 period simple moving average, 200 period simple moving average. Your either looking at a different candle chart or using “smoothed” moving average, which stick crosse over but a little earlier
Romeo Power 25% short unbelievable for a company with such a large backlog, lots of cash, no burn and incredible growth & upside Busses, Garbage trucks, big rigs partners with Paccar, BWA,LION electric, Republic services, Heritage Env, RIDE, XL, to many to mention what the Heck shorties are playing them

My dividend stocks T and O are doing well. I also recommend OSK for a stock that doesn’t swing hard. I’m starting to really like BWA as well. Hang in there!
I am going boring: BWA (they make parts including those for electric vehicles) and Paya.
Fuck it .. I feel bad 4 ya. get in stat BWA.
BWA is treating me nice. No wild price swings, generally goes up. Shoulda bought more before earnings this AM, which they beat.
50c BWA 7/16 and I'm wondering if 54 days to go is long enough to hold through earnings on May 5. I'm up 150% and IV is still pretty low in 30-35 range
Anyone do any DD on Borgwarner (BWA)? Seems like it could be a good play. Calls slightly OTM maybe?
PLTR, NNDM, SKLZ, RADA, BFLY, BWA, JAGX. Pick your poison.
No man not selling CC off ABR. Use ABR for dividends. I use NNDM, PLTR, BFLY, SKLZ, RADA,JAGX & BWA for CC'S. Thatsy cash cow.
Way late...would have been a good idea prior to September and still a solid idea through the fall. I was actually rotating some of my portfolio back to growth the last couple weeks. Your young just focus on growth and realize your going to have a 40% haircut along the way. The goal of a growth investor isnt to avoid a bear market it is to run the score up as high as possible before the bear market hits. I think there are some opportunities out there for some industrials with a tech bent. BWA, HEI, LMT, GM
$BWA bullish for month look for them to break $52 by EOW
BWA and MGA have been nice and steady.
$BWA high option volume 4/16
My winners today are BWA and IBM. Boomer stocks is the way now huh. Gonna pick at stuff on the way down and just trade less in general until we see some light on the other side.
God bless BWA, MGA. The only stocks keeping my lil portfolio together this year.
Bought more RKT March 26 35 calls...buying BWA equity
LONG RKT.....buying more today. Getting back in BWA.
I've picked up some more CRSR. Enphase Energy seems to be cheap at the moment and looks like a candidate to enter SP500. BWA (Borgwarner). Assets/shares ratio puts it at +65$. And if I can I will grab Redrow Plc. Assets/shares puts it above £7 (currently at 5.4) and once covid restrictions residential developers stand to gain as other cyclic stocks.
