You need a 10x? Got one for you when phase 3 is over in 6 months or so. $CDTX - Cidara therapeutics. Quick DD but it will probably be long. Biotech company that is using a conjugate, which is basically a drug on a molecule that piggybacks on stuff in the body to go into the body basically undetected. One of these conjugates that they are currently working on is CD388. Which is a non-vaccine flu shot that lasts 6 months or more, and has a 76% efficacy over our current 40% to 60% Efficacy flu shots that don't last long. These were the results of the phase 2b report on June 23rd. when the stock went from 20 points to 40 points in 1 day. I bought at $44 sold at $50 and then ended up buying a 100 shares at $45. And I've kept those to this day since June to where the stock hit a $120 in the last month but it's pulled back to the mid-nineties. I'm guessing that's because of the retail float that's available. They are selling off because 80% of this company is owned by institutions. But double counting of borrowed shares has it at a 103.03% institution owned. You can look up the forms that show who owns the company currently. Which is RA capital, BlackRock, JPMorgan and all the other heavy hitters are behind company. A company that has other promising drugs based off their cloud break platform. Although this is the one everyone is hyped up about. It will be a world changing non-vaccination flu shot for a serious public health issue that affects the whole world. Here's a quick thesis on what I did to start making money after buying the 100 shares. Starting June 23rd, when they submitted their request for FDA end of phase 2 meeting minutes. That started a deadline that can be measured, which is about a 100 to a 120 days from the time they request a meeting. Which was slated to be the end of October at the extreme most if they waited until every last deadline to submit and scheduled meetings. Knowing this information, I was able to buy 18 contracts right before the big news pop. I'm a small fry amateur with $9200 in his cash account on sept 10th and on September 24th, the FDA news dropped to allow phase 3 to go forward with newly added age groups to test. Of course the stock ripped that day. I finally made the biggest gains of my portfolio with the profits off of that company for the last 3 months. It went up even more up to $120 from around $85 a few weeks earlier. The stock is pulling back a little and that's not institution selling shares because this one is literally going somewhere as long as the phase 3 news is good. All of the billion dollar institutions believe so.

I hope you made bank. I can't believe Intel's performance the last 6 weeks but i think it might come to an end next week during earnings but we shall see. I sold these 3 calls today for about $5.80 each, which is about $3.30 profit. But these 3 Intel contracts were paid for from $7.50 covered call I wrote for CDTX at strike $100. So its house money making profits but I did have to pay $400 extra to uncap that $100CC as the stock ripped super fast to $100 from $83 in a week or so but it's still profit fortunately.

It just takes discipline, time and finding the right stock on your own instead of always chasing the big players which can help supplement the small players. Once you learn how a stock moves over time and how the investors and retail play It with its cycles and patterns. You can do a lot of winning if the opportunity Is there to make money on growth? As long as the company has real products with real potential growth. The opposite of meme stocks that you see a lot of young guys play. You get to understand the company. Like it's a person so you can work. It and play It and make money. I know i'm not one of the big wells that you're referring to, but, Last month i had $9600 in my cash account. In the last month. I made $17,000 trying to learn the market and play it more seriously. I had $27k yesterday and lost $7,000 today. Oh, yeah. I forgot one major thing to add that'll help you make money given my example. ChatGPT. Im serious. If it wasn't for her, I would have never made all of the money that I've made over the last month. This all started back on June 23rd with CDTX. A biotech company pushing a new flu shot just released their phase 2b results for CD388. A non-vaccine universal flu shot that has longer lasting effects 6mo+ and a higher efficacy rating (76%) than our current flu shots.

It's still at a good price to purchase some shares. Now that BARDA gave them upwards of 300M dollars to develop their product, and today, the FDA gave them a new "Breakthrough Designation", coupled with an expanded 100M subjects to test the medicine, coming from the 50M they had previously (just a few weeks ago)... Plus, the push from the FDA to approve this medicine ASAP, before the seasonal flu kicks in... Yeah... Everything points to an increase in price of each share even higher than the original price around the company's IPO, 10 years ago, of around 350$ a share... And regarding a potential buyout (which is very possible, bearing in mind what usually happens with these smaller companies, when they develop something as groundbreaking as this)... Well... If we consider the IPO's evaluation as a starting point, around 350$... And bearing in mind how lucrative this business is... We might see each share, after an FDA approval and mass production/distribution of this drug around the US - and if Cidara doesn't decide to dilute their shares until there - of around...well...this is just speculative, obviously, but around 600/700 dollars each share wouldn't be that farfetched... This would make Cidara worth, let's say... Between 10 and 15 Billion dollars... And considering that, for example, Gilead Sciences, has an evaluation of around 147 Billion dollars... A potential buyout from a company such as this one, would (in theory) happen for much more than Cidara's evaluation at the time... Let's say Cidara's value is at 15B flat. If a company like Gilead decided to buy Cidara, while keeping Cidara's infrastructure intact... Well...just like any business, Cidara could, theoretically, ask for 25/30/40 Billion dollars for said buyout - this is totally normal, since no company would want to sell themselves for the price they're evaluated at that time and, instead, would extrapolate their value based on their potential and future upside. If something like that were to happen, then you could see your investment double just because of said acquisition, and your CDTX would be converted into (in this hypothetical reality) GILD stocks - with the ×2 of the acquisition already in mind. So yeah.. I first came across this project around 3 months ago, and decided to purchase several of their shares at around $50, after doing some exhaustive investigation regarding their project. And since, at that time, I saw so many green flags regarding their project and their potential growth in the medium term, I've decided to purchase a good amount of shares at $50 each... And...yeah, best decision of my life, I'm sure of that... So...even at $110, based on every single narrative going around at the moment... Investing in their shares is a freaking no brainier!!!

It was actually very good luck. Thank you. Look at what happened on September 24th and up to current day since then, for $CDTX. But it wasn't luck, because this was a 3 month thesis that I started back in June 23rd with chatGPT that was planned for. This was when the stock jumped from $20 to $40 on their phase2B results.

Same with my golden biotech goose. $CDTX ($102) someone bought 5000 calls at $110 strike for Nov 21exp when no one is buying these right now. Over 80% of this company is owned by institutions like BlackRock and RA capital and other heavy hitters AI there's not much float for retail. That's over $7,000,000 on 5k Calls when no one is buying those call prices right now, not even the institutions. They are way too expensive with too much extrinsic value based off of the last month of the stock moving up 50% or so. But if you have seven million dollars to spend. Why didn't they buy in the money instead of out of the money? I'm confused as to why.

Wow, I feel like that was pretty uncalled for. You had a lot to say about me without knowing anything or asking a single question before making assumptions. Would you like to take a virtual bet on your statement? Because it sounds like you’re not interested enough to ask even a basic question before making judgments about me. I’ll give you some unsolicited context so I can defend myself against your rude comment. I’ve got a 2.5-month stock plan thesis on $CDTX, Cidara Therapeutics, where I bought 100 shares on June 23 at $45, and it’s currently at $102 today, not including the lucrative covered calls I’ve been selling along the way. Like this example, one of those CDTX covered calls was for $7.50. I used the $750 to buy 3 Intel calls at $2.50 each at a $32.50 strike that expires in 2 weeks. Those contracts are currently worth $5.15 and in the money. That’s what using premiums for profit looks like when you assumed instead of asking if I do long trades or CC. I successfully planned around the FDA catalyst event for CDTX within the timeline I calculated starting june 23rd, for phase 2b results submission, the FDA meeting schedule, and announcement. I bought 18 contracts and made $7,880 in profit, not revenue. You can look up what happened on September 24 with the 10/17 expiration calls at $80 and $95 strike. Go check their current prices and note they still have two weeks until expiration. That's the real heartbreaking story about time discipline that i didn't share but i will for you since you didn't care to ask. Those 18 contracts are deep in the money now. I left over $20,000 on the table by selling early, but that’s part of risk management and knowing when to wait a little longer, not failure. But you can keep making more assumptions about me if that’s easier for you. I’ve been trading since I was a teenager in high school, using Ameritrade before it became TD Ameritrade and then Schwab. Which is the account I use in the screenshots above. I’m in my 40s using a username i made when i was 17. Lol. My account isn’t going to zero unless I drain it on purpose to buy a house someday. Which is not the plan. But i'll go ahead and wrongly assume by telling you to keep assuming everyone who posts a win must be on the edge of financial ruin. Maybe next time try a little curiosity before the diagnosis or I can post my wins and losses if you want show and tell too? Now, did you read all of this wall of text? Lol if you want to ask me questions, I'll answer anything you want to know but I have a lot to type but learning requires effort.

I've been using ChatGPT for the stock market for over 3 months now. And have used it to learn a lot and pull in some good profits along with some "learning" losses lol. The paid version allows you to have projects and more research tools and less limits. Which allow you to custom tailor everything for that project. You you can keep chats going as a database to reference all of your historical information. Here's an old and outdated link to a public CGPT thesis is started in July for the biotech stock Cidara therapeutics. $CDTX. It was for a buddy that wanted to look it over. https://chatgpt.com/canvas/shared/687557d45b3081918721d4cb0d8e4e48 I started the project around June 23rd when $CDTX doubled their share price to $40 after announcing great results for their phase2b non-vaccine flu shot CD388 that lasts longer, 6mo+, and has a better efficacy rating at 76% than the current flu shots. Phase 3 just started taken in new patients and look at the performance of CDTX over the last month. At the end of the September, that was when the FDA catalyst in my document that talks about it, happened. Stock hit over $100 today. Opening in June 23rd it was $20. This is a biotech stock with no selling product yet. Valued at $100 a share. This was a test to see if ChatGPT was a viable option in helping me learn and make money while learning from my mistakes off the stock market. (You know, something I should have been doing all this time but I was being a dumb stubborn idiot about it because I knew if I committed time to learning this. It would consume my life like it already has...lol) And it's paid off very well so far, but you also need to be prepared to use a tool like this. (You need to be able to have varying changes of intelligence and learn from the data given or the tool will fail you)

I just used ChatGPT and pay the $20 a month subscription. Then customize a projects instructions tailored to learn about the stock market and options. The worst part is a chat will run out of space depending on how many screenshots and SEC filing reports or evaluation PDFs that you upload to the chat. Then, you have to start a new chat to continue the research but it doesn't bring over or cross-reference your old chat unless you work some magic that never sticks. But It definitely paid off within 3 months of doing my first contract. Just recently, last week I did well with 18 contracts and CDTX that I've been planning and holding since June 23rd. Started contracts on July 11th and got paid on September 25th.

Are you referring to Cidara, or anything bird flu? I'm not much for the hype... I am just looking at numbers. Everything so far suggests that CD388 is the real deal, and if it can cover H5 strains, BARDA funding and stockpiling are serious opportunities. It needs to actually be effective and safe for that to happen. My two cents: This is worth watching as $CDTX doesn't come close to capturing this value yet. But then again, I have been humbled by the market gods often enough to accept that I could be wrong!

Sorry for the long response... Your comment covers a lot of ground in few words! This should probably go out as a post, but maybe for another day. CD388 is the first clinical proof-point for drug-Fc conjugates (DFC) on the Cloudbreak scaffold. The value isn’t just the influenza asset; it’s the repeatable toolkit—Fc-engineering, targeting domains, linker chemistry, and manufacturability—that can be retargeted to new pathogens/indications. Once the chassis is validated in humans (which Phase 2b just did), it is reasonable to expect follow-ons to be faster and cheaper to advance than the first one. I certainly agree that Cidara isn’t getting credit for this at this time. I am looking forward to seeing what they do with their oncology asset now that this proof point has passed with flying colors. Do they not have more of a moat than you suggest? Saying “any big pharma could copy it” assigns no value to: • IP stack depth: composition-of-matter, method-of-use, and manufacturing claims across Fc variants, linkers, and targets. • Know-how + CMC: reproducible large-scale Fc conjugation with preserved effector function is non-trivial, I expect; tech-transfer takes time even for a major pharmaceutical. • Data moat: real-world human efficacy/safety on the same scaffold is proprietary and compounds over time. Even if a big company can build a similar architecture, the economically rational path is usually partnering or acquiring the validated platform. For a single asset, sure: (1) does it work, (2) who pays, (3) runway makes sense. For a platform, I would also look for: • Repeatability: how quickly can the engine generate the next asset? • Option value: what’s the TAM across multiple pathogens/indications? • Partner pull: are strategic partners engaging now that human proof-point exists? Those are the drivers behind platform multiples (and why markets should re-rate after platform PoC, IMO). In my valuation analysis, I’ve focused on CD388 only because the valuation disconnect is already big enough to question without looking at the broader platform. For influenza prophylaxis in high-risk cohorts (transplant, elderly, immunocompromised), payers already reimburse high-value prevention (e.g., mAbs, high-dose vaccines). A long-acting, pre-exposure DFC with strong efficacy fills a real gap and is economically attractive compared to hospitalizations and lost capacity in peak season. That’s a market design question—not a binary “will anyone will pay” question, and I would have thought should deserve a more measured risk discount. Investors seem still to be pricing for binary risk. Runway extends via grants, BARDA/NIH programs, and partner capital—the standard playbook for platform biotechs post-PoC. The next catalyst (EOP2 → Phase 3 design) is exactly what unlocks those pools. Again, not binary but risk discounted, sure. I agree with your comment about ATYR: when the drug doesn’t work, sentiment breaks. With CDTX, the drug apparently works and a platform POC was successfully demonstrated. Sentiment? Meh… INSM got its re-rating when it proved it could execute repeatedly and expand its addressable market. That’s the path I'd expect a platform play to follow post-PoC. I agree that CDTX is just getting started down that path and that the re-rating to a platform play will happen over time as proof points emerge. Right now, I am just questioning why the market is discounting the value of just their flu asset by what seems to be an excessive amount. Bottom line: On the question of moat, I have a different take; Calling Cloudbreak “copyable” and Cidara “a single-drug bet” I believe under values the technical/IP/CMC/data that are the moat and the fact that CD388 validates the chassis. The investment case now, IMO, is whether management converts that PoC into (a) Phase 3 execution, (b) partner pull, and (c) pipeline repeatability. That’s a platform thesis—not a one-asset story.

That is a very difficult question to answer. Technically, the Federal Reserve cut on September 17th at 2:00-2:30pm EST. "Might" have a cascading effect to affect the 10 year Treasury notes. That "might" reduce the mortgage spread, which then "might" help $OPEN. And that news, even though not directly related to the company $OPEN actually doing anything, it might help a rally behind them. So I'm hoping to play the retail meme investors based I'd that news thinking it will help. Maybe months down-the-line, it'll help $OPEN but not right away. But yeah, it's a sign of good things to come possibly. But the FDA meeting news for Cidara can happen any day until the end of october. But coincidentally, there is a medical conference on September 17th. The same day as The Fed cut day. Where Cidara will be going over their end to phase 2B results, separately from the FDA meeting. They will also meet with investors and answer people's questions, which will also have potential exposure to new investors via word of mouth, that will maybe rally behind them that week or next and make the company pop off at the same time as the Fed cut is happening. So basically I'll sell $OPEN when it's up enough and I don't need the cash for CDTX ASAP. So probably in the next week or so right after the fed cut.

CDTX-Cidara Therapeutics is a biotech company that is developing a new flu shot (CD388), they have other stuffs too, but i'm i concentrated on the flu shot that lasts longer(6mo+) and has 76% efficacy over the current flu shots are 40-60%. This is based off of their data from June 23rd end of phase2B results. Basically It's an "end of phase 2B results" biotech company that is currently sitting in the mid-$60's (think about that for a second), and its backed up by all of the heavy hitter institutions who are all getting ready for an FDA news pop. That FDA news pop can be calculated from June 23rd and out to a 130 days to the end of October. Based off standard deadlines that they have to report on the end of phase 2B meeting minutes results? The stock went from $20 to $45 in 1 day (june 23rd). And then over the last 2 months, it's gone up another $25 points to $70 and then fluctuates between the low to mid-sixties. They offered 8 million shares right after their data release at an anchor point of $44 and didn't dilute the stock in a negative way to make the price go down. 72% of the stock was owned by institutions. And then it jumped up to 80%+ and also the institutions that have the highest percentage of shares was released in August detailing, that Blackrock, RA Capital and many other heavy hitters hold this stock. Everyone is waiting on the FDA meeting minutes (should be released from now to before Oct/31st) to see if phase 3 is ready or more info is needed. October options are the ones that should encapsulate the FDA meeting news. This is not financial advice, but just information that I researched over the lasts 2 months, and I do hold 5 contracts and over a 100 shares of CDTX since a $45.01 buy in. After $OPEN pops off. It's profits are going to CDTX.

I would never long hold this stock based off it's history. One option that I will give you financial advice on is CDTX, cidara therapeutics, I would go for the 10/17 or the November expirations. Buy as many as you can and wait for the FDA meeting minutes on their CD388 flu shot ends of Phase 2b results. Should be any day until the end of october according to deadlines that must be followed. There's a ton more data here, but I'm not gonna clutter up the chat with it unless asked upon request.

A phase 2B biotech stock is worth mid-sixties. Think about that and the fact it's backed up by 80%+ ownership of billionaire institutions. October options are the ones that should encapsulate the FDA meeting news. This is not financial advice, but just information that I researched over the lasts 2 months, and I do hold contracts and over a 100 shares of CDTX since a $45 buy in.

CDTX for the October expiration. That's when the FDA meeting minutes news days should drop. From now to the end of october going off the deadlines the company and FDA have to follow since their January 23rd release of their phase 2B results for their CD388 flu shot that lasts longer than current flu shots and has a 76% efficacy over the 40 to 60% efficacy of current flu shots.

I'm not the OP, but here's an example I did. Bought 100 shares of CDTX at $45 back in June when it popped off after phase 2b results in their CD388 flu shot data. And just recently I wrote my first covered call contract for $7.00 at $75 strike price that will expire in the middle of October. That's 30 points on that 100 shares plus $700 premium. +$3700 if it expires in the money which it will since it's jumped 46 points in the last 2 months since June 23rd. Everyone is waiting on the FDA meeting minutes for a big catalyst that should happen anytime now.Till the end of october. This stock is also owned by over 80% of institutions. Big names like 1. RA Capital Management - 13.3 percent - 3,365,523 shares - Schedule 13D/A filed Aug 11, 2025. 2. BCLS Fund III Investments LP - 9.99 percent - 2,500,680 shares - Schedule 13G/A filed Aug 14, 2025. Filing notes a 9.99 percent conversion blocker on preferred that caps reported ownership. 3. Biotechnology Value Fund - 9.99 percent - 1,252,441 shares - Schedule 13G/A filed May 15, 2025. 4. Most successful because of reddit: CDTX (bought at 38 cents) and RKLB (Bought at $3 ).  Most successful because someone told me to buy: NVDA and Tesla.

Not sure if CDTX discovered cancer cure or what but up steadily over 30% in the past 2 weeks and keeps going. Not a meme but an investment. I think most of it is due to universal flu vax that is about to become reality. CEO has excellent track record of growth as well as M&A - just something to consider if you're memed-out

Here is an update to this Post. Confirming some of the milestones that have happened. This is my own research that I've been doing for the last few weeks with chatgpt. Please do not make any financial decisions off of my research without doing your own as I am an amateur traitor and new to options. * this is the information I am using to plan for the next two months. 1. Summary: Why CDTX Is On Every Trader’s Radar CDTX is developing a first-in-class long-acting flu preventative (CD388), which recently posted best-in-class efficacy (76% flu prevention in Phase 2b). The stock doubled on news, triggering a $400M equity raise and addition to the Russell 2000 index. They sold 8 million shares at an anchor of $44.00 and no dilution of the stock. Major catalysts in play: Pending FDA End-of-Phase 2 (EOP2) meeting (deadline: Aug 31, 2025). Q2 earnings (around Aug 12, 2025). Possible news on Phase 3 trial start and further partnerships. Options activity and technicals are buzzing: recent breakout above 50-day MA, bullish MACD, and analyst upgrades have driven new momentum. 2. Key Timelines & Catalyst Breakdown FDA Meeting Window CDTX requested EOP2 with FDA on June 23. FDA must hold the meeting by Aug 31 (max 70 days by rule). After the meeting: FDA issues official guidance (meeting minutes) within 30 days—usually, CDTX will announce news as soon as minutes are received and reviewed. Most likely “needle-moving” news window: Aug 5–Aug 25, but could stretch to late September in a worst-case, slow scenario. Earnings Q2 earnings expected ~Aug 12. As a pre-revenue biotech, earnings per share doesn’t matter. Investors focus on cash runway, trial updates, and FDA/partnership commentary. Phase 3 Start If CD388 is greenlit by FDA, Phase 3 could begin late 2025 or early 2026—another catalyst for the stock. Announcement of Phase 3 start usually creates a moderate bump, especially if it’s fast-tracked. --- 3. Option Strategy and Trading Logic August options (expiring Aug 15) cover both earnings and the likely FDA window—but might expire before late-breaking FDA news. September options (expected to list soon) are safest for catching all possible FDA news, but will cost more (more “time value”). Best risk management: Split exposure between August and September, scale in on dips, and never bet what you can’t lose. How options prices move: If CDTX spikes on FDA news, contracts could triple or more in value. If the stock stalls, premiums will decay rapidly, especially in the last 2–3 weeks. 4.Key Risks, Patterns, and Guidance Phase 2 spike is real—but gains can fade if excitement dies down before Phase 3. Earnings for pre-revenue biotechs rarely move the needle. The real drivers are FDA news and clinical milestones. Liquidity risk: Option contracts lose value fast near expiration if no catalyst arrives—don’t hold too long! Similar biotech patterns: Most “big win” Phase 2 biotechs see an initial pop, a period of drift or pullback, then another move on Phase 3/FDA news. 5. Big Picture Timeline for CDTX Catalysts (as of July 8, 2025) Phase 2b win announced: June 23, 2025 EOP2 meeting requested: June 23, 2025 FDA must hold meeting by: August 31, 2025 Q2 earnings expected: August 12, 2025 Likely news window: August 5–August 25 (earlier if FDA moves fast, later if slow) Phase 3 trial possible: Late 2025 or early 2026 Watch for partnership or buyout rumors if data/stock stays strong --- 6. Pro Tips & Trader Rules Don’t chase the top—scale in, buy dips. Sell options into strength—don’t get greedy and wait for perfection. Track option open interest and volume—trade liquid strikes only. Remember: it’s not just about the meeting date, but about when the company announces results of the FDA meeting (could be a few days to a couple weeks after the meeting).

Ya that’s been my experience as well. Phase 2 and 3 are more meaningful than phase 1. And the runup to PDFUA is often times more profitable than getting an approval. CDTX tanked on approval but the runup was really nice. Some you can long after approval for a huge move like TGTX 8 to 30s

Here's how I identified these two this month. VEON (https://spotalpha.com/us/VEON) and PBTS (https://spotalpha.com/us/PBTS) 1) screen lots of penny stocks to identify the trending ones. I have a list of about 30 stocks which includes the above 3 and stocks like VGZ, ZSAN, CDTX, TNXP, GTE, BIOL and DS. 2) wait for the trend to turn bullish. I use this (https://spotalpha.com/us/builder/portfolio-trend) you can use any tool, even a simple SMA paired with MACD to identify trend and momentum. 3) have a fixed allocation per penny stock entry. Never go all in. Example, your account size is 10,000 and you are willing to allocate 10% to penny stocks, that's $1000. At any given point you want to hold not more than 5 penny stocks, so that's $200 per stock. 4) penny stocks are momentum plays, not trend following. If you want trend, go for a diversified index. So if a new penny stock turns bullish, sell the one you have been holding the longest and enter into the new one. This automatically takes care of profit booking or stop loss. Risk is managed by position sizing in step 3. Hope this helps.
