Pause. You’re 18yrs old considering loading up on 200k in grad student loans? DO NOT DO IT unless the grad school in question is medical (e.g., MD, PharmD, DSS), a T15 law school, or a PhD in niche engineering fields like nuclear. Just don’t. If it isn’t one of those, you’re making an irrecoverable financial mistake.

We believe these initiatives, coupled with our robust balance sheet and demonstrated track record of accretive M&A, will enable us to close out 2025 on a strong note and deliver another year of record results.”
I am actually very un-clueless about the softwares. It's on Apple and Google to hold their developers to certain security standards for back-end handling of data. I suppose we should stop using any app that doesn't say it complies with a standard like HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, FISMA, Sarbanes Oxley, and ISO-IEC 27001.
Part 1: "Why would hyperscalers spend so much with $ORCL instead of just spending themselves?" You're missing the strategic point about AI and it explains why hyperscalers engage with ORCL. It's about the data. The value of AI isn't "Data in general." It's \*corporate data.\* Any LLM can build something that scours the internet and learns everything publicly available. That's table stakes for AI. What value add/competitive advantage any given LLM has is the ability to take a company's private data and refine the results of public data to give the user more specific context to the results of a query. For the most part, \*where\* is that corporate data? The data that runs businesses, keeps people out of jail, meets regulatory requirements for auditing, governance, etc put out by nation states GDPR, industries (PCI /DSS) and governments (Sarb-OX)? Most of it is in Oracle databases and Oracle applications (both on-premise and in SaaS). And where is it going? If not staying in Oracle Databases, it'll move to Oracle SaaS. AWS and GCP in particular don't have any play in that market -- they are infrastructure providers. In the near term, their customers can put the Oracle databases on their compute, but they mostly all want to move to SaaS because they don't want be in the application administration business. They just want to use the apps. GCP and AWS don't play in that space. ORCL does -- they have legacy and SaaS applications at the core of 100's of thousands of businesses between Oracle EBS, Fusion SaaS, Netsuite, and industry apps is Banking, Telecom, Retail Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Construction and Engineering, and a bunch more. They all use Oracle Database. Azure is a better position because they have some apps at the core of businesses like Dynamics 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Office, etc. But the BUSINESS data of the world is mostly in Oracle. This private data enhances the ability of an LLM to provide targeted, useful results. AWS, GCP and Azure all have infra that can run an Oracle DB, but relatively speaking, it runs like poorly. (anybody who argues that; well the proof is in the pudding: Why is Oracle on Exadata being offered in GCP and Azure, for one, and even more, why is AWS offering Oracle on Exadata when they have RDS Oracle?) All their customers are asking for better. They only solution is to go Oracle and get the Exadata -- so they are. They want that enterprise data too and if Oracle runs poorly in their cloud, they won't get it.

I don't know why I can't see your recent comment but I had to laugh hysterically if you are bragging about making $3,000 today and you have been trading for over 20 years? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. If you made $3,000 on a single stock that would be more understandable. I made more than that on about six different stocks today . DSS, TGL, and IXHL alone I made $7400 (which you hilariously talked crap about and then it shot up 16% today). You are the epitome of a Reddit penny stock tool 🤡. I wanted to send you a screenshot and embarrass you but I'm sure you noticed the jump. This is why you cannot go off of a short history of a company and state such a wet blanket comment like you did. It shows your ignorance. If you were nice about it and willing to learn I could have taught you a few things. I think it's great you have an opinion but it's even better to be informed
I never used the word training; LLM is gen1, DSS is gen2, and that's where Microsoft's data lake, their integration with global companies and their business processes, etc are going to continue to enable and drive strong financial performance
From the pr: The impressive performance was driven by double-digit organic growth from strengthened customer relationships, new vendor partnerships, and expanded market share in the U.S. and Europe. The acquisition of Douglas Stewart Software & Services (DSS) also contributed significantly, particularly in the education sector.
CLMB is insane lol. Net sales increased significantly by 73% to $159.3 million Net income grew 74% to $6.0 million ($1.30 per share) Adjusted EBITDA rose 64% to $11.4 million Effective margin improved by 600 basis points to 43.3% Strong balance sheet with only $0.5M debt and unused $50M credit facility SG&A as percentage of gross billings decreased to 3.3% from 3.6% Working capital increased by $12.2 million “We continued to execute on our core initiatives in Q2, resulting in another period of exceptional performance with material increases across all key financial metrics,” said CEO Dale Foster. “During the quarter, we generated double-digit organic growth by strengthening relationships with key customers, bolstering our line card with new, innovative vendors, and growing our market share in both the U.S. and Europe. We also benefited from the incremental contribution and seasonal strength of Douglas Stewart Software & Services, LLC (“DSS”), which typically sees higher demand from education customers as they ramp ahead of the next school year. “Looking ahead, we will continue to build on the momentum established in the first half of the year, with a clear focus on driving sustainable growth and operational execution. With our ERP system now fully implemented, we expect to capture operational efficiencies that will enhance scalability and drive operating leverage across our global platform. We also remain focused on identifying strategic acquisition opportunities that can enhance our capabilities and complement our existing footprint. These initiatives, coupled with our robust balance sheet and demonstrated track record of success, will enable us to deliver on both our organic and inorganic growth objectives in 2025 and beyond.”
IL6 is not a "security clearance". It's a standard like PCI-DSS and such, but with a different intent.
$CLMB * Net sales surged 49% to $138.0M in Q1 2025 * Net income increased 35% to $3.7M ($0.81 per share) * Adjusted EBITDA grew 38% to $7.6M * Gross billings up 34% to $474.6M * Distribution segment billings rose 36% to $453.6M * Strong cash position of $32.5M with minimal debt ($0.6M) * Working capital increased by $4.4M * Maintained effective margin at 32.7% * Quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share declared * SG&A expenses increased to $16.8M from $12.5M * Solutions segment showed minimal growth of only 2% to $21.0M "The momentum from our record 2024 has carried into the first quarter, leading to exceptional growth across all key financial metrics,” said CEO Dale Foster. “Our performance was driven by the execution of our core initiatives and the integration of Douglas Stewart Software & Services, LLC (“DSS”) into our operating platform. We drove organic growth in both the U.S. and Europe, demonstrating our ability to deepen relationships with existing partners while signing new, cutting-edge technologies to our line card across geographies.” “Looking ahead, we believe that we are well-positioned to continue driving organic growth and further improving operating leverage. While still early, we expect the implementation of our new ERP system to drive meaningful efficiencies across our global operations. We also plan to remain active with M&A as we evaluate accretive targets that can enhance our comprehensive offerings and expand our presence in both North America and overseas. These initiatives, coupled with our robust balance sheet, will enable us to continue executing on our goals and objectives.” Pretty good quarter.
Have they even made a software sale? From what I’ve seen their DSS isn’t materially different or better than competition. Combined with CMS uncertainty, this is still a very risky stock.
$CLMB **Net sales** increased 52% to $119.3 million **Adjusted gross billings** rose 65% to $465.2 million **Net income** more than doubled to $5.5 million ($1.19 per share) **Adjusted net income** reached $7.1 million ($1.55 per share). The company's performance was driven by organic growth in both U.S. and Europe, successful integration of DSS and DataSolutions acquisitions, and deeper relationships with existing customers. The Board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share, payable on November 15, 2024. “Q3 was another period of exceptional growth for Climb as we generated record levels across all key financial metrics, while delivering on our acquisition objectives,” said CEO Dale Foster. “Our strong performance was driven by the execution of our core initiatives and the integration of DSS and DataSolutions into our operating platform. We also generated double-digit organic growth in both the U.S. and Europe as we deepened relationships with existing customers while signing new, innovative vendors to our line card. “Looking ahead, we will continue to leverage our global infrastructure to foster organic growth while actively evaluating M&A targets that complement our geographic footprint, expand our service and solution offerings and, most importantly, align with our high-performance culture. We expect to unlock additional synergies from our acquisitions and further improve operating leverage as we execute across our global platform. We believe that these initiatives, coupled with our proven track record of accretive M&A, will enable us to close out 2024 on a strong note and achieve another year of record results.”
Nike calls it the "Deep Space" color. So we could call him DSS. Deep Space Sundar.
I have a question. I work at a corporate Dominos Pizza, stock ticker DPZ. They have a policy called DSS where they make and cook food when people start adding items to their cart and a lot of times those orders don't place and it's basically free food for us and they put the order through as if it was an actual order and then just cancel it as a write off. See they want to be first even at the expense of wasted food so they can cheat their service. I'm not an investor in them but have mixed feelings because it does generate more sales and earn me more money as a driver but I also potentially view it as a liability. Am I missguided in these thoughts? It's not ethically good to waste food on purpose at the expense of your shareholders because you want to cheat numbers.
DSS, GLATF, Goviex Uranium, Quantumscape
A WI (when issued) ticker is usually just a placeholder. And it doesn't really seem like there's much progress on the company IPO. The ownership interest according to the S1 is a related party called DSS, Inc. - so the ticker kinda makes sense.
I googled their investor relations page. Their related press release: https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2023/07/31/2714863/0/en/DSS-Inc-Announces-Distribution-Date-of-August-8-2023-for-Spinoff-of-Impact-BioMedical-Inc.html > DSS, Inc. (“DSS” or the “Company”) (NYSE American: DSS), a multinational company operating nine business divisions through strategic acquisitions and development to build shareholder value through periodic spinoffs to shareholders, announced today the distribution date for the previously announced stock dividend of Impact BioMedical Inc. DSS Inc. shareholders of record on July 10, 2023 will be entitled to four (4) shares of Impact Biomedical Inc. for every one (1) share of DSS to be distributed on August 8, 2023. > > Shares will be registered under CUSIP Number 45259L 106. Each share of Impact BioMedical distributed as part of the distribution will not be eligible for resale until 180 days from the date Impact BioMedical’s initial public offering becomes effective under the Securities Act, subject to the discretion of the Company to lift the restriction sooner. I also googled 'August 8, 2023 plus 180 days' which took me to https://www.convertunits.com/dates/180/daysfrom/Aug+8,+2023 which tells me February 4th, 2024.
Handling disputes is not difficult, it’s just an operation team exercise. Meeting PCI-DSS also isn’t difficult, but branded credit cards like the Apple Card are often relationships designed to give the brand a credit card without having to meet the same regulatory standards as the underwriter/issuer does. We are a small retail bank, but have been deposit warehousing and providing branded CC for a while now. Always it’s just some flashy “fintech” “startup” that wants to offer a credit card but doesn’t want to meet regulatory standards in the process. Financial industry audits are a bitch and 80% of the reason many small institutions can’t keep up with technology companies.
Looks like $DSS and $OLB are going to be the talk of the town, better start reading up on your options and checking out [Recommended reading list](https://thetatitans.com/summary-of-theory/#recommended-reading)!

DSS subsidiary in the news. From what I read, Premier Packaging is DSS's cash cow. $AULT, $DSS, $EFSH, $POL. More like I just wanna see those CEOs in prison, and some justice for shareholders. I haven't gotten *too* badly burned by any of them, but it's sad seeing how retail probably got scammed out of 100s of millions on just those penny stocks alone
Just got into $DSS after if pulled back 50% of the price spike. I never trust a huge one day rise in a price--but the high volume and price increase alerts me to a possible good idea. If that Impact BioMedical stock dividend starts appearing in shareholders' accounts, it will most likely generate more attention to their business plan of doing spinoffs. FWIW
Looks like that DSS has retreated from that price spike to $0.40. It was a nice trade from .$0.23 to $0.40. May be good for another swing once that spinoff stock dividend gets distributed. Also, they should have Second Quarter earnings out in mid-August. OLB has seen increased volume in price. Like the trend there. Price to Sales ratio is VERY low--like 0.3X sales. Should be at least 1.5 x sales or so. That would mean a 5X increase in price. WINT Like any biotech out there, it is tough to find a stock BEFORE it gets good news that makes the price run 100%-200%. So you have to do the due diligence to try to find those biotechs with promising technology and multiple drug candidates entering clinical trials. Each one has the potential of having a PR out on the progress.Multiple Lotto tickets. JMO

The Bitcoin miners are stating to report their operational updates and...if the numbers are good...the prices are responding well. Congrats to those in $SDIG and $WULF. $MIGI has not released their operational update for June yet (probably next week). News out today--[https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mawson-infrastructure-group-inc-secures-122000660.html](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mawson-infrastructure-group-inc-secures-122000660.html) $DSS looks to be consolidating at higher levels after a nice move. The spinoff of the Impact BioMedical subsidiary to shareholders of record of July 10. The shorts have to buy in to avoid paying out the spinoff stock dividend to DSS shareholders. DSS shareholders get 4 shares of Impact BioMedical for every share of DSS shares owned.
lol impact shares were promised years ago, DSS is trash just look at the dilution.
So if I were to buy, say, 100 shares before 4PM tomorrow then I would receive 400 spin-off shares two weeks later. Does this mean I would be free to sell any number of DSS shares after 4PM tomorrow and still receive the freebies?
I'm sorry to say but I think Impact Biomedical Inc. will most likely be flooded with too many shares and it'll probably be worth less than 4 times the price of DSS

Your an EOF-Equal Opportunity Fucker! I am as well. I'll let a cripple lick my nipple, I'll let a disable hit it from any angle, I'll let a handicapp make my booty clap!!! Just saying. (My only known disability is that I suffer from DSS- Dr. Seuess Syndrome-everything must rhyme!)
“DSS, Inc. operates in the product packaging, biotechnology, direct, commercial lending, securities and investment management, alternative trading, digital transformation, secure living, and alternative energy businesses.” What in the actual fuck is this for a business model.
Pretty good target projection for DSS--over $2.00 [https://fintel.io/sfo/us/dss](https://fintel.io/sfo/us/dss) No one could be disappointed if DSS got to $1.00. lol
Not bad picks. RGS and AGFY did pretty good. DSS is pretty much unchanged
there was someone in DSS yesterday balling cuz they have no where to go and they would do nothing to help him. i live in western new york and he will die if the weather takes a sudden turn and he is not sheltered. the people that work at our dss are incompetent and ignorant. and they act like people can just wait for things and they actually in my opinion purposely look over people if they get pissed and voice there frustration. its pathetic tbh. also, when you call to try and get anyone on the phone, or even a case worker? it states to dial 0 for emergency and "explain your emergency". well, if you press 0 all it does it bring you to another pre-recorded message. no CSR, NOTHING. and that message is almost 5-6 minutes long and drags out forever to get you to hang up basically. its obvious
The golden age of the SWE is coming to an end. You've got multiple Series A/B startups running dirt cheap ML algos that can piece together code that is 99% better than you cut and pasting from Stackoverflow. It takes one Sr SWE and a PM to organize the output of a dozen mid tier SWEs with some of this software. Give it 10 years and it'll be full on gig economy for SWE's typing prompts to tell the ML to generate a 3-tier AWS website with high availability, multi-AZ databases and sub 10ms latency caching globally that passes SOX and PCI-DSS standards out of hte box 15 minutes after they hit enter.
You don't understand PCI DSS. Bank account information has nothing to do with PCI DSS, only credit card information does. I literally work in IT in a sector that readily interacts with PCI DSS all the time, it's not even the most stringent of security policies I need to comply with. Even bank account/routing numbers aren't covered, let alone user account names and passwords for banks.
Yes, i know what they hold. There is is also process-level topics and there’s actually quite a lot on fraud detection. Well PCI/DSS is pretty much for fraud detection.. but more on external fraud than internal. It requires a lot of discipline and auditing to keep the certificates valid and to obtain them in the first place. But anyways the point is not that you could not have any kind of fraud if you have ISO and other certificates. It’s just something that indicates it not a total wild west. Good Security Controls also makes fraud harder and easier to investigate. I think the audits happening now will not be a walk in the park for the exchanges after the recent events. They will also have to be able explain their revenue streams and prove that they have 1:1 backed their customer assets. I think with good security controls and blockchain it’s actually a lot more safe than traditional banks where Security is even a bigger joke and getting a full picture what really happens between systems of today and mainframe. Here anyone can use quite sophisticated tools and enrich the information with data from for example chainalysis. Yes you can’t know about the majo bottles, but if cold wallets of an exchange are known you can see what goes in and out.. and if you enrich the data with 3rd party sources you can get a really accurate picture of the situation.. and understand where the assets originally came from and if that party has done any malicious activities before.. or does the money go thru tornado cash or such.
>private actors audit the blockchain At an exchange the blockchain audits are not really shit. All of the ISO, NIST and PCI/DSS controls you listed deal with security of the platform, networks, hardware, software development practices and physical security and will not stop fraud. None of these exchanges are running QuickBooks or anything off the shelf. Cooking the internal books is trivial (as we are now finding out with FTX) when your controlling the code base. You can make up wallets and users and move money in and off of the blockchain all day long without raising an eyebrow at a blockchain audit. You have to prove without any doubt that your internal holdings are real and accounted for, not floating around bouncing between exchanges and in and out of cold storage. Its like saying you have 1,000,000 bottles of mayo in a warehouse because that is what users gave you as deposits, but turns out 900,000 of those bottles have been sucked dry but you still say they are full on the books, even though you know those are just empty bottles... this is nothing new, same shit different scammers (or sometimes the same ones that have already been caught multiple times, over and over and over in the same scam but somehow are not in jail or even worried so they are starting up new scams because its just free money at this point and the idiots keep buying into it).
Except that people and other private actors audit the blockchain. CDC is the actor with most certifications on compliance and security.. and also operates in countries where for example Binance has not got permission due to compliance issues. Crypto.com is built on a foundation of security, privacy and compliance and is the first cryptocurrency company in the world to have: ISO/IEC 27701:2019 ISO22301:2019 ISO27001:2013 PCI:DSS 3.2.1, Level 1 compliance and independently assessed at NIST Cybersecurity and Privacy Frameworks Tier4 as well as Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 compliance.
Despite being PCI DSS and SOC 2 compliant, crapto dot com still managed to “accidentally” send hundreds of millions of dollars worth of corn to the wrong address. Just goes to show how utterly useless those standards are (I say this as someone who has been both the auditor and auditee).
this was a sympathy to DSS running before it, and DTSS running before that. don't get bagged
Their “software-ish” divisions such as Hulu and DSS aren’t shipping anything they promised and are experiencing insane turnover. Industry rumors point to cronyism management. I’m betting this damages the companies for years. I sold when it went over 110 a few weeks back. No way am I buying this mess again.
So can you get PCI DSS contacts as part of your BD or is it out or scope?
I am a bot. You submitted a picture of a banned ticker, DSS. The market cap of DSS is **84487870** This check will fire if you included unnecessary pictures that have bad phrases or a bad crop with news about cryptocoins, for example. Repost with the useless pictures omitted if you did that. Yell at /u/zjz if it's above 1 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC.

DSS and AEI are scams imo, both are on my ban list. Look at the dilution.

I followed that one for a few months and it’s… idk, be careful. That Chan guy is a total scammer. You can make money day trading it for sure but I’d keep a lot in reserves for when it drops like 30% in a day If you like it may follow DSS as well, they tend to be best stonk buds
I think you are alright if you get in at .50 and get out once it starts to kiss .70. I wouldn’t trust it for more than a short play. Check out DSS there are some funky insider trades going on with them and AEI.
You got to swing between AEI and DSS to make any money.
Keep an eye on his other company DSS. He likes to move money between the two. You can buy in to one after the buy then sell when it goes up 20 cents and then buy into the other one. The buy in lines for these two stocks are easy to spot.
I’m excited about DSS mainly due to its insider trading. There is a connection to AEI that’s fairly interesting. Also, due to all the positive posts I’m excited about ITNK. This one is more of a cautious optimism.
The buy DSS. Market cap 100mil. Remindme! 30 days
DSS is similar to NILE in that it’s a holding company that has been beaten down to below book value. It is running today on Biden’s statements on cyber security which is one of the areas DSS is invested in. As a fundamental play it’s trading at around half of its book value, but it also hasn’t presented much of a business model for growth and has lost the trust of investors with dilution similar to NILE. It also doesn’t have much short interest so it would just be a pump if it goes and would be retail trading hands. I personally like NILE better at the moment. NILE has a similar book value to DSS, but was previously trading about about 1/4th of its book value (share price is similar, but DSS has more outstanding shares). NILE also has a solid growth strategy in place with its crypto mining model and I think crypto will pop in the next few months.
My logic is based on physics. What goes up comes down and vise versa. I have let a small position bleed in DSS for about two years now. Technicals just confirmed a reversal. I’m loaded up with DSS 🦍🦍🦍🚀

Took profits to DSS, lfg apes 🦍 🦧🍾🎉🚀🦧🍾🎉🦍
Humanigen HGEN is looking great and I regret not buying stock in it, so on Monday I may just jump on that train and hope it's momentum continues. XELA,XCUR, and TCRT I'm banking on and bought a good amount of stock on. XELA hasn't done much yet. MLFB and NBLD are my wild cards. DSS and TELL are my long-term stocks DAVE and BBIO are finally starting to go up. BBIO has long term potential depending on how their trials go. DAVE may go to fifteen again and then I'll sell. I sold 400 Stocks of MULN, but way too early at $2.01 ... Have another 100 stocks of MULN that I may sell soon.
Why haven’t we seen anything like RIG and DSS in our lifetime? ^pulls ^up ^PLTR ^PTON ^ZM ^clowdsector
DSS is not a penny stock, I bought it at $2.80 on the drop in April 2021, went all the way down to 0.30 and popped today 0.67. I gave up on it and sold 0.60 at tremendous loss no way it would ever get back to $2.80 IMHO.
Two DSS spikes in the same week?
Except in the case when DSS dipped to $2.80 which was cheap new 12 month low, had a "buy" rating on Marketwatch, so I bought, now it's trading 30¢ - 40¢ with no signs of ever rising above $1
Sounds good, unfortunately I'm one of those exceptions to the rule since I bought DSS when I thought it was cheap and watched it drop 90% more. I think your theory only works on intelligent investors.
CTRM TNXP and DSS are nothing but share dilution. You will keep losing money every year you hold stocks like this.
Wanna lose money fast? $DSS is a sure bet. Bag holding for a year this week, and down 88%
DSS looks like a good stock, to the moon 🚀🚀🚀

The DSS looked at your reddit post history and is deliberately withholding your clearance because you weren't sufficiently loyal to Heir Trump's coup attempt.
DSS if youre looking for an upcoming reverse stock split. Too bad there's no put option for this goofy company
I’m hoping so for DSS, OCGN I mostly sold after 14+
i actually gained on OCGN, but i dipped out before a loss. I am still in for BNGO and DSS
NTAR (bought very low, sold at peak, then bought at mid due to FOMO and lost all previous Gains too lol) OCGN (same thing as NTAR) DSS (forgot to sell at near high, was on vacation) MSN (idek) All in all, looking at 40-50k
Be careful with AEI and DSS. The same CEO and he dilutes very frequently, multiple back-to-back offerings, just look at the charts.
The chairman of DSS is the CEO of Alset, and the CEO of DSS is the chairman of Alset. They are shifting money back and forth between the two companies, framing it as investments. They are doing offerings over and over to line their own pockets at the expense of investors. It is robbery in plain sight
They did they same thing with $DSS. Avoid these companies unless you want to be robbed
Page 43 of the S-1 outlines all the acquisitions (including and DSS, the first two you mentioned), so looks like in total there was around $147m in acquisitions for a $625m valuation
Bought DSS around the 1.65 mark after it halved over overnight. Sold around the 1.75 range for a quick profit less than a week later. It's been bleeding ever since.
How is a company with 190 million in assets worth less than a dollar? DSS has an average cost almost double than its current stock price; this is ridiculous
Looks like DSS will either double or delist depending on upcoming earnings, heck of a gamble
DSS - Document Security Systems (aka Destroying Shareholders Solvency) is ready for a turnaround. They diluted all the way down to pennyland to generate enough cash to save the business, the insiders bought heavy and now they're ready for another upwards cycle. It's a parent company with about a dozen companies under it, and some of them are real companies!
The 2021 Annual Meeting of Stockholders of DSS, Inc. (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) will be held at 1400 Broadfield Blvd., Suite 100, Houston, TX 77084 on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 9:00 am local time I am very excited to see what comes out of it!
This is why I scroll this sub. Look at GME, look at GEO look at DSS. Thanks for finding this! All in
Some investors buy a distressed company and have a plan to revive the company from within , I think blackrock was doing that with amc. Really not sure what’s going on with DSS but that is a possibility.
