EB is supposed to start being profitable next year (2026). Knowing this information and connecting the dots with new branding and AI implementation with Microsoft, I see it as an obvious reversal to a bullish state. Summer is around the corner, people are going to be doing events on Eventbrite. I wouldn’t doubt the CEO will appear in CNBC around June or July, to discuss the event or experience economy and consumer trends. But just with sticking to the charts, it shows an inverse head and shoulders… with the 5/22 price crossing the moving average of both 21-day and 50-day, the bullish trend is forming but still not completed since it’s below the neckline of $2.60. In a week or two, if it breaks above $2.60, you will see it confirmed for yourself.

So yeah, the US is decoupling from the global system. Global trade with countries that have tariffs against you but aren't producing children (thus creating consumption) is not a fair deal. And when you consider that the US has been patrolling the oceans and keeping the flow of oil open, as per the Bretton Woods Agreement and being called warmongers and oil greedy for fulfilling our promise there simply is no need to keep doing it. The new logistics chain for the US will be primarily Canada and Mexico. Mexico will become the new China. Let's hope they manage it better. Now they've got a war in Europe and many countries still haven't reached 2% when they should be funding 5% to deal with Russia. Bright Green has some language in their SEC filings that was of interest to me though, just in terms of future markets for cannabinoids. The place was huge like a living room with loung couches, tv, sleepnunber king size bed, fully stocked fridge, the most insane bathroom I’ve ever seen in my life. The shower has two idk. 10? Amazon's a great company, with a strong moat around the cloud business in particular. Its core ecommerce moat is still extensive, though might come under pressure within 5 years - the competition in this space will likely heat up significantly. Is it cheaper than Google? Depends on what you look at. By EB/EBITDA, Google is only 17.4X when Amazon is 22.2X, and Amazon's more capital intensive.

Yeah seems like 3.5 EB is the best all rounder choice for your needs. If it were me, I would def check out the current recommendations for best maintenance practice on those currently, I get the feeling they are not as bullet proof as the 5.0. Maybe could benefit from shorter maintenance intervals and other additional maintenance practices (I saw some discussions on oil catch cans to trap the water before it recircs but not sure if that's still a recommended practice on the newer iterations). I would def be using Amsoil (or next best synth oil) and shorter intervals, which could be overkill, but I like to err on the side of caution with my engines personally.

I've noted that AB InBev has partnered with [cannabis and CBD data/marketing firm Fyllo](https://www.hellofyllo.com/) sometime recently, with my suggestion being that beer companies are interested in CBD just as much or more than they are THC. I've mentioned it before, but the [National Beer Wholesalers Association](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Beer_Wholesalers_Association) has included CBD-specific lobbying topics in their disclosures for a few years now. Per wikipedia the NBWA had the 2nd largest PAC in 2020 by amount of money raised. They are a big lobbying force. But before I list their lobbying disclosures, a couple things from to remember: 1. Mitch McConnell of Kentucky personally sponsored and pushed through the hemp/CBD amendments in the 2018 Farm Bill. [Skip to 2:45](https://www.c-span.org/video/?443953-2/senators-mcconnell-wyden-industrial-hemp-farming) in his speech introducing the bill to hear him calling out hemp-infused beer. 2. Representative [Andy Barr](https://barr.house.gov/2019/9/congressman-barr-s-amendments-to-help-hemp-and-cbd-industries-to-access-banking-and-financial-services-passes-house) (also Kentucky) was responsible for making sure hemp/CBD were specifically mentioned in SAFE Banking in 2019. 3. The US Hemp Roundtable had a meeting with [McConnell in 2022](https://www.forbes.com/sites/ajherrington/2022/04/11/hemp-advocacy-group-meets-with-mcconnell-to-push-legislative-agenda/?sh=4f889d8012f9) to discuss two items. Fixing CBD regulations, and SAFE Banking. The US Hemp Roundtable top three positions are Altria (Cronos Group), Turning Point Brands, and Nestle (Garden of Life CBD). Their founder and lobbyist Jonathan Miller (also from Kentucky) was Mitch McConnell's primary partner in pushing hemp policy since 2014. 4. The US Hemp Roundtable also met with Andy Barr during that meeting in 2022, in particular to discuss SAFE Banking. Barr is currently on the House Financial Services committee, and chairs the subcommittee on [Financial Institutions](https://barr.house.gov/press-releases?ID=64C34D56-0091-43D9-BD29-67F2E1232488) and Monetary Policy Note that these are all pretty much Kentucky (politicians, Turning Point) and Virginia (Nestle, Altria, NBWA) connections. Reminder that Virginia's Republican governor is pretty much single-handedly preventing their cannabis industry from progressing. In my opinion it's fairly obvious he's just helping stall until Altria and others are in a position to capitalize, and he knew SAFE was never coming until the Farm Bill came back around. So back to the National Beer Wholesalers lobbying. They have their own lobbying team, with their main disclosure having the following relevant topics (see [disclosure](https://lda.senate.gov/filings/public/filing/ea22ba1c-1298-4dfc-9f9a-c26e5d7e35d6/print/)): 1. SAFE Banking 2. Regulation of cannabis including industrial hemp derivatives 3. FDA regulatory oversight of CBD 4. HR 1628 - CBD regulation bill (my note: introduced by Virginia representative) Fairly heavy on the hemp/CBD aspect. But let's look at one of the NBWA's other two smaller disclosures. This is with a tiny firm called EB Consulting who only has 1 other client. Their [disclosure](https://lda.senate.gov/filings/public/filing/1e439109-769d-4174-b772-79919d87c650/print/) with the NBWA includes: 1. Monitor policy impacting CBD regulation 2. Monitor proposals to legalize marijuana 3. Farm Bill Ok so the NBWA via EB Consulting is still specifically mentioning CBD, and also mentioning the Farm Bill in the same disclosure section as CBD/marijuana. This makes sense, because EB Consulting is just Eric Bunning. He had been the NBWA's director of federal affairs for years, since he joined them right out of [Andy Barr's office](https://www.brewbound.com/news/nbwa-names-eric-bunning-director-federal-affairs/). The Farm Bill is definitely going to be addressing some issues regarding industrial hemp. It will hopefully include CBD regulation changes like HR 1628. And I think given Andy Barr and Mitch McConnell's history on SAFE and CBD, and current connections to the Hemp Roundtable and National Beer Wholesalers, that we are going to see SAFE eventually included in the Farm Bill. McConnell can push it through the Senate, and Barr can use his committee position to get it added to the larger "must pass" Farm Bill, thereby avoiding the issue with the Speaker never taking up SAFE as a standalone bill.
