Honest take: why do you think it maxed out at 3.20 and then took a 💩 to 2.43 in such a short span? At these prices, it’s like it’s a free stock. I personally think it’s going to rebound the same way it dipped, but at the same time, I have been thinking that for 8 days in a row! 😂

He's literally just rebranding a mechanism that already exists. There is already an investor visa (EB-5, which coincidentally enough is already nicknames a "golden visa") where if you have $1 million invested in a company, you can get a green card. If im not mistaken, he's removing that process and replacing it with this. So, instead of that money going into the economy, it's now going to the government to be used on God knows what.

Thats not the purpose of the Hb1 visa.....if they are really genius there are specific visa for people with exceptional skills. **O-1** Visa is for individuals with extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. **EB-1** for individuals of extraordinary ability who can demonstrate sustained national or international acclaim in their field. **EB-2** National Interest Waiver (NIW) visa also allows individuals with exceptional abilities to work and reside in the U.S. permanently if their work is considered to be in the national interest.

Funny thing is there is a category known as EB5 that requires an investment of $1m to get PR in this country. People already do that. This new investment golden visa will drop into someone else pocket.

How is it not supposed to be the first step towards permanent residency? Employment based permanent residency (EB-2 and EB-3) application requires the worker to pass the labor test (meaning they need to demonstrate there are no qualified U.S. workers for the job) From a company’s perspective, it is sure a hell lot easier to hire someone on H1B, work with them for several years and then demonstrate that they need that worker, which by that time they could be an essential worker for the business. Plus, EB visa petition takes way longer than H1B process, which wouldn’t be something that a company would go through directly. It’s a lot smoother to transfer their status while they are working H1-B is also a dual-intent visa (unlike student visa), which means it carries intention for permanent residency. Idk why you think it’s not meant for a first step towards permanent residency… do you think that people who come here legally and are qualified to do skilled labor for 6 years should just go back to their home countries? No one is going to uproot their lives and move to US knowing they will have to go back after their visa is done. This will just hurt the critical U.S. sectors like research, healthcare, engineering etc. The brain drain has already started, many academics are leaving US. If this continues, it will have devastating effects in no more than a decade

EB is supposed to start being profitable next year (2026). Knowing this information and connecting the dots with new branding and AI implementation with Microsoft, I see it as an obvious reversal to a bullish state. Summer is around the corner, people are going to be doing events on Eventbrite. I wouldn’t doubt the CEO will appear in CNBC around June or July, to discuss the event or experience economy and consumer trends. But just with sticking to the charts, it shows an inverse head and shoulders… with the 5/22 price crossing the moving average of both 21-day and 50-day, the bullish trend is forming but still not completed since it’s below the neckline of $2.60. In a week or two, if it breaks above $2.60, you will see it confirmed for yourself.

So yeah, the US is decoupling from the global system. Global trade with countries that have tariffs against you but aren't producing children (thus creating consumption) is not a fair deal. Now they've got a war in Europe and many countries still haven't reached 2% when they should be funding 5% to deal with Russia. NATO is like a group project where only the US studies and shows up to do the work and everyone else is off doing other things but still collecting credit. So yeah, we are re-industrializing. Blue collar work will be the new middle class. White collar work will be replaced by AI--watch it happen. And with Trump deporting illegals then businesses will have to improve wages and benefits to attract scarce workers. Expect that in the future most immigration will be the EB-1A visa types. People with high skills and education coming to the US. Why? Because they can't find work in Germany or Japan, or they are fleeing the government in China or Russia. And yes, it's painful, but if/when China invades Taiwan we and everyone else is going to decouple from China anyway. Better to do it now than while at war. That's what these tariffs are for. We want EVERYONE to decouple from China and the tariffs are to bring them to the table to talk about it. Those that deal will get no tariffs. Those that don't will get tariffs. Why? Because China breaks the rules of the WTO by sending their products to third countries and pretending they came from there to avoid import restrictions. Now we will tariff the fuck out of any country that does that and also we'll impose a 1 million dollar port fee on EVERY ship that docks at a US port which was made in China. Fuck your ship production industry, China. If we manage this era well it's very possible that Gen Z will have the standard of living of the Boomers if they learn a trade that is useful. College is no longer lucrative and only a small percentage can make that work for them. ie. top 10%. Everyone else should learn to weld, or plumb, or some other hands on trade.

The old investor visa (EB-5) was $800k-1mm and also gave permanent residency with a path to citizenship. We have it in other countries too some are €50k others up to €2mm. Some only require that you buy residential property over €300k.
