honestly my PANW, CRWD, and FTNT are like mehh compared to NVDA
FTNT - solid for backspread (moderate upside, covered downside). solid stock to own as well. targeting $87.5 for max profit dec 19. sold 200 19 dec 25 $87.5 C, bought 250 16 jan 26 $92.5 C. btc so of my 19 dec calls on a recent red day
I'll probably spend the morning trying to see why FTNT dumped so hard after a good earnings report. Class action suits aside, that seemed odd.
Wtf is FTNT saying on their call they blowing it.
FTNT looks like market wanted more, didnt look like a bad Q to me though
This thing sucks, no fortinet (FTNT) even though they report today and no (AMPX) amprius technologies even though they report Tommorow. What a joke. Hiding the best company’s
Why don't you first explain why you bought companies like FTNT, TMO, DHR etc. The way this forum works is you first make your case and than people can respond to that.
Cybersecurity keeps growing but who is to say whether it will be them or PANW or FTNT or Microsoft etc.? Not to mention all of this might go away once quantum computing takes over. I’m slightly invested in CRWD, and I think they will likely continue to grow, but my biggest concern is that they won’t grow as much per year as my other stocks.
Any of you geniuses have any DD on FTNT? GF told me to buy it and she's still salty I didn't buy AMD when she told me to. Come to think of it, so am I.
FTNT graph looks really bullish right now just saying. It’s wants to fill the gap from 86 back to 96
$FTNT class action lawsuit? 👀
Well, the competition is very very hot for that. They have loads of direct competition and some indirect, but still focused enough to keep market share away from NTSK. Some examples (yes, it is an AI list, but I did read over it and they all apply and then some). I could find many more: * Fortinet (FTNT): While known for their firewall and network security products, Fortinet has been expanding their offerings to include a SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) platform that competes directly with Netskope. They leverage their existing customer base and broad portfolio. * Cloudflare (NET): Known for its content delivery network (CDN), Cloudflare has aggressively moved into the cybersecurity and SASE market with its "Cloudflare One" platform. Their global network gives them a unique advantage in terms of speed and performance. * Check Point Software (CHKP): This is another long-established cybersecurity company that offers a comprehensive suite of security solutions, including SASE products. They are a major player with a focus on a unified security approach. * Microsoft (MSFT): With its massive Azure cloud platform, Microsoft is a formidable competitor. Their integrated security solutions like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft 365 security offerings can be a strong alternative for companies already heavily invested in the Microsoft ecosystem. * Broadcom (AVGO): Following its acquisition of Symantec's enterprise security business, Broadcom is now a significant player in the market, particularly in data loss prevention (DLP) and cloud access security broker (CASB) solutions, which are core to Netskope's platform. * Zscaler (ZS): Zscaler is a major player in the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Security Service Edge (SSE) markets, which are key areas for Netskope. They are often cited as a direct and significant competitor. * Palo Alto Networks (PANW): A leading cybersecurity company, Palo Alto Networks offers a broad suite of products, including their Prisma Access SASE platform, which directly competes with Netskope's offerings. * Cisco Systems (CSCO): With their extensive portfolio of security products, including Cisco Umbrella, Cisco is a formidable competitor. They have a massive installed base and brand recognition. * Forcepoint: A global cybersecurity company specializing in data-first SASE and other security solutions. Their focus on data protection and user behavior analysis makes them a direct competitor in the cloud security space. * Cato Networks: This company is a key competitor in the SASE market, offering a converged networking and security platform from the cloud. They are known for their integrated approach to security and networking.
They've had a big drop since 8/11/25. I'm looking at PANW and FTNT for long term entry into cybersecurity.
FTNT is literally free money
Yall believe in the FTNT comeback?
Fucking FTNT cannot break 80
I don't know anything about the company. I have a tool we use at work to look for accounting fraud in the financials and FTNT is rated B+ (which is good). This doesn't mean that their financials are strong, but they haven't played fast and loose with their books. So if you can read their financials, I'm saying, you can trust the numbers.
I cant believe FTNT is actually looking decent today
FTNT has got two million in volume the last two trading days. They had a 20% correction after a positive earnings call.
Bet, this must be a sign cuz I was gonna buy 7DTE OTM calls on their competitor FTNT last week but decided against it. It's mad undervalued rn, I've been hodling since Kramer mentioned it in like 2017. Will compare options chains on both tbh.

The four big climbs on this chart are PLTR shares, TTD calls, TMO calls and FTNT puts. I didn’t add up the gains on those four trades but I’m sure those have accounted for more than my total 571k profits and everything else was net negative. But PLTR was def an all-in (safer with shares than calls, but wish I’d figured out how to buy options by then, or known that PTIR and PTLL existed). It feels good to be able to swing for the fences with just a fraction of the portfolio.
Not specifically politicians, but I make some trades based on activity suggested by Unusual Option Activity and CheddarFlow on YouTube. I hit for big gains on TTD and TMO calls and FTNT puts. Not everything hits, but they seem to have a good record, as there are always going to be people in the know who betray their knowledge with their big bets on calls or puts. Each of those trades was worth six figures to me. TTD: [https://youtu.be/itoUlgDyYF4?si=SKjDtrir56x3BXKd](https://youtu.be/itoUlgDyYF4?si=SKjDtrir56x3BXKd) FTNT: [https://youtu.be/Byu2tSBmK2o?si=t1xR50076F5dyvtn](https://youtu.be/Byu2tSBmK2o?si=t1xR50076F5dyvtn)
$FTNT $LULU $UNH $DASH are all very profitable companies with plenty of years left in them and they are all down from their highs. I’m personally invested in all. To a lesser extent other people are going for $NVO and $LLY, which I don’t like due to them being in drugs which are being knocked off more and more
I can't say what the future holds, but this company over manages earnings and is exceptionally fragile. It's already priced perfectly. There are three main assumptions which can cause it to drop, probably a lot like FTNT did.
Nearly as oversold as it was at the tariff low in an uptrend🤌🏼 And FTNT’s loss is CRWD’s gain (same with PANW)
AMAT and FTNT might be good on a bounceback
Probably dump on earnings like FTNT
Is PANW going to pull a FTNT?
PANW is already down from buying CyberArk. It’ll come down to the guidance that will have to make people believe that their quest to be a one stop shop cyber security firm is worth it. The CEO is very convincing if you watch any of his videos. To me, this isn’t like investors being tired of META blowing money on the Metaverse. This is PANW trying to become a behemoth that can’t be ignored. Your organization can have 30 cyber security firms, or it can have PANW do the heavy lifting for most of it. I’d think with the slow trickle back in from $165 to the current $177 says most of the people who didn’t believe in the vision have gotten out and stayed out. Maybe they went to FTNT after they dropped. But they’ll be back.
Trimming REITs (office space is already empty and a recession (caused by Ai and national and geopolitical turmoil) will drive more traditional companies with office space into bankruptcy and cause them to default on their lease -- I hope I'm wrong). Long term holdings (not adding) MNMD, ATAI, CMPS and a small one CMND. New-to-me long term holdings that I intend to add more off LLY, NVO, TSLA, CRCL, APP, PANW, FTNT).
Trying to see if I should dump a ton of money into some longer dated FTNT calls. Feels like this could rebound to pre earnings price rather soon and I don't want to miss it.
itll be back to 80 by end of next week, look at crox and FTNT its already recovering hard
FTNT was a nice buy. Not a fan of company but they have good financials and dumped 30%.
FTNT and CROX knife catches going surprisingly well so far, that almost never happens for me
I keep seeing people claim "AI can build a similar thing for cheaper" when mentioning SAAS stocks. 1) Not even proven yet in most cases, just early signs that it could happen. 2) AI built software doesn't have the years of fine-tuning and product refinement that legacy SAAS has. 3) AI built software doesn't have hundreds of thousands of developers already trained on the programs. 4) AI built software likely won't offer the security features or integration with already existing platforms, at least not immediately. 5) AI built software will be competing against some of the most well-capitalized businesses in the world with decades of sales and marketing relationships. AI will disrupt certain incumbents over time, but these massive sell offs are probably a pretty solid entry point for a lot of the big names. I'm quite bullish on FTNT and wrote a fairly in-depth post about it a few days ago after earnings if anyone is interested.
you regards should get in on FTNT tomorrow if you haven't already..
To make 10k or invest 10k? FTNT march calls. Look at drop. Itll recover. I bought the dip and already made 40%
Nice. Y’all are higher than mine. 15% YTD. Guess I’m being held back by AAPL, ADBE, ADSK and FTNT
FTNT knife catch is now +9% not too shabby
Got out of FTNT, too much of a low margin product business.
Winner here w/ CRWV long swing, FTNT dip grab long hold, ETHD until eth 3.5k.
50% dump!? FTNT $65 CALLS
Thanks for the screenshot. I thought briefly about doing 1 contract but then reconsidered after seeing what FTNT did lol. Now I'm really glad I didn't. Market's been tough on less than perfect performances.
Surprisingly managing to make up for the big loss on FTNT yesterday lol.
just bought FTNT wish me luck boys.
Ouch, continued selling on FTNT. Guess the cybersecurity sector is going to be on pause for a while.
How screwed are my EOD expiry FTNT $70 puts
FTNT - Cyber security market leader with increasing revenue and innovation. The clear winner especially giving the cyber risk that all businesses face.
Damn thought FTNT would recover more this morning..
people need to stop paying attention to just the index, selloffs are already happening. look at TEAM, ADBE, MDB, FTNT, CRWD yesterday, slow selloff from green to -10%. just go defensives in the month of aug/sep
FTNT bought the dump today. Will add
ATNF, CRWV, FTNT big playu
FTNT looks like a solid buy
Feels like FTNT could rebound real quick, too scared to put too much in but feels like their driop makes no sense
FTNT $75 call was money mid day🙏🏽
up 100% on FTNT calls -- holding atleast until tomorrow probably into next week
We think similarly, I got into EXLS and FTNT. Debating CROX now lol. Happy to trim down some high fliers to put money to work at lows
Some companies that reported good earnings that have sold off. Names I’m looking at: EXLS, TGLS, UFPT, FTNT
Already own ZS & CRWD but Cyber is going to be huge and forever so shouldn't FTNT get a serious look. I'm seriously thinking of grabbing a bunch of shares at $72 here on Thursday aftnoon..Yes No..somebody help me!
Look at FTNT's chart today and why they're down on forward guidance. SentinelOne is a distant second to CRWD in endpoint.
Why avoid FTNT and SentinelOne if you don’t mind elucidating? Re healthcareproviders, isn’t the damage priced in?
Good job FTNT you kill d the cyber security sector...
> I suspect companies are going to divert spend away from cyber and into AI buildout. That would make no sense. If anything, growth in AI should result in companies spending even more on cybersecurity. AI creates many new risks for companies. According to FTNT investor presentation, 80% of Fortune 100 companies use FTNT. Switching cost is high, so I don't see how top companies could reasonably cut cybersecurity expenses right now. If anything, FTNT probably has room to raise pricing due to AI advancement.
Is FTNT or PANW the better recovery play? PANW seems like it has more room to drop. Also been eyeing RBRK for a while but it hasn’t had a big drop in a while
FTNT or PANW the better recovery play?
FTNT call $75 tomorrow really cheap guy. Lotto quick
Just bought EOW expiry FTNT $70 puts, so its probably ending over $75 today
FTNT management comments on refresh cycle prolly not gonna help anyone in the space now lol
Selling RELY +18% to buy FTNT -27% feels good, happy to take a position again in Fortinet... management comments about refresh cycle caused this drop but it seems overblown to me here
The V on FTNT will be legendary, they will talk about it generations to come
Now FTNT causing selloff in the entire cybersecurity sector. After that PANW reaction to acquiring CyberArk, maybe it's time to exit cybersecurity lol.
Wheres the FTNT bottom? Asking for a friend
Thank you FTNT for being trash https://preview.redd.it/nv8nhmezqlhf1.jpeg?width=1320&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e9231f602c2ff15bffa26e894ea09bc06cff0155
FTNT go down today -25% 📉 what do you think ?
Did FTNT beat a dog? Don’t care for the company or stock. Just wondering what’s happening.
This FTNT earnings reaction is just ridiculous.
FTNT calls? Seems like an overreaction
Just bought some MSFT and FTNT premarket
