So I'm up 460% for the last 6 months off buying some dips and pretty much getting lucky imo. I just bought into this one ($MATH) and I see that the bounce gets exponentially higher with every dip. I remember reading somewhere that this meant something but I forget what. Any help? Thanks y'all.
How to apply a simple MATH PARADOX to options trading to IMPROVE YOUR GAINS
Why is no one talking about MATH? I've been up 160% since January.
I don't care what you do, and I don't care what you know. All I'm saying is numbers don't lie and this one has yet to be squozen!

It's just the fucking set questions. WHY ARE THERE PARAGRAPHS IN MY MATH QUESTIONS 😭
> It said DOGE actions saved me $995, over the course of my lifetime Time for my favorite activity, NAPKIN MATH. Suppose you get your first job at 18 and you work until you're 65. That's 47 years. If you do the division 995/47 you get 21.17. Per year. PER FUCKING YEAR. That's not even a tank of gas on a standard 10 or 11 gallon gas tank. It's always these big numbers thrown around that look big in the moment but once you scale them out it looks like they just got out of the pool on a November evening.
I'm aware of the complex MATH behind it which is exactly why it's fucken idiotic thinking you can out performed the computing power of the elite's machines that are reading all the shares and options activity in the time it takes you to type in a ticker. What moves the needle is already in place, bought in and sold for tomorrow while you're trying to "analyze" your next move today. But hey go right ahead buddy, I'm sure you will keep getting it right in a Bull market lmfao just remember this exchange when it turns into a Bear market and you start blaming everything else instead of realizing your entire method was complete luck in a rising market
Being patient doesn’t negate that “few weeks” comment, whether a “promise” or not was not kept. We are now at day 32 days which is **not a few weeks** by any measure unless you’re doing **MAGA MATH.** I get that that the poor math interpretation could be a result of Tang’s attack by his Department of Education on schools and universities.
This reminds me of these MATH type people that can never play poker well. I'm serious, there is an type. Eventually you learn it's not all about probabilities or maybe it is all about probabilities but it's not about raw calculation because you can't know if your opponent is representing an better hand then you have or not. In probability terms. (There is no way to calculate it because of randomness) Knowing the probability that your hand will improve with the turn and river still to be dealt can only help you so much, and if you over rely on that information it makes you easy to beat.

Ok. Except it’s not. Not even close. I’m suuuuuper fucking retarded but this is just throwing shit at the wall. Please prove me wrong. Show me the ~~money~~ MATH why you think this makes sense. No hate, bro. I do stupid shit all the time too. But those puts are long dead for literally every reason why RKLB is killing it and has been for years. I have LITERALLY never seen a single retard ever profit off RKLB put. Ever.
How much did a candy bar cost when your grandparents were kids. 5 cents? What is it now? $3? A candy bar has inflated 60x in price over the years because the dollar has no limit to how much it can be debased, but a useful asset that can’t be debased, priced in that same infinite currency, can’t hit $[insert high price here] why? Because every government in the world will start becoming fiscally responsible and stop printing more money by the trillions? Don’t take my word for it. Just DO THE MATH.
Yes, the 5.75% sales charge goes to paying your advisor for the "advice" >$6113 is being invested? The other $886 goes to them? MATH: (7000 * 12.6%) No, you don't add percentages together. You put $3500 into 2 funds with 5.75% sales charges each, that's $402. There are thousands of no load mutual funds and even more ETFs available. There is no need to use an advisor unless you value their advice. In which case you need to pay them one way or another.
I suspect you’ll be entertaining in those conversations. You always are 😉 I’m on a different thesis - companies embracing crypto as their company treasury, something $NVVE seems to be embracing. After that $SBET unfurling and one of the most impressive runs I’ve seen in a long time, still a bit salty my limit order of 150 shares for $2.67 didn’t execute the morning the run started. Damn slow fill times and slippage. F$ck! 🤣 But anyways, convinced we are on the precipice of a financial shift and even though those changes are volatile, fraught with unknowns and so plenty of pundits and naysayers, but that’s not how progress occurs. $SBET is a curious play now they are the largest institutional holder of $ETH, and in the gaming/entertainment industry, $NVVE, $KULR, and others like $MATH or $DFDV. Oh, and an OTC ticker I have my eye on is $MTWO - look into its merger with $SOAR. https://preview.redd.it/ek7uck3iz97f1.jpeg?width=1098&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=628de1b307c0b072a6250b594916f028ef144968

Negative. It’s basic math. There are NO assumptions. The math tells me the best strike based on the current spot price, and the Delta, Gamma and Theta of all the strikes in the chain. It calculates and scores each strike and outputs the strike with the best score for calls and the best score for puts. The MATH tells me the best strikes. Nothing else.
lol wut They don't send an issue-specific notice unless um, the MATH says that there might be a discrepancy. So yes, that's how it works esp for stuff on a 1099-XYZ ...stuff is reported, matched, and eventually - when it doesn't add up - a notice is triggered. Or a correspondence audit. Or a full audit. Or you're picked up in the a random sampling - either the national research program - in which case it's not math about you. Just remember [the IRS has no time limit if they can decide to consider it fraud - either criminal or civil.](https://www.americanbar.org/groups/business_law/resources/business-law-today/2017-august/irs-can-audit-for-three-years/)

Love watching the capitalism fucking himself to death slowly. Its the destiny of capitalism. Death spiral. It's insane how stupid people are. People want an infinite amount of dolls at a less than zero dollars price. Well, ok. Among those monkeys, Trump, as a true capitalist, is among the only one figuring out that capitalism is actually not sustainable ... how funny is this. Guys, it's MATH !
This is the ideal mindset to have. Don't worry about trying to "make more money," just reliably make money and don't choose to lose money (have a long-term mindset and wait out dips). You are not Warren Buffett. You are probably no better than average at picking stocks... and average, even for professionals, sucks. You probably aren't going to be lucky. Just think and do math. Know the difference between actual and tax basis, so you don't sell away profits, and think. Plan ahead. Use limit orders to take profit on bumps, "when and if" it happens instead of trying to time the market. DO MATH. BY HAND. IN A LEDGER. Don't trust what your broker tells you, about net profit and loss. They track the tax basis, which treats reinvested profits as newly money. Think. Don't put money you aren't willing to wait "forever" to maybe get back in the stock market. That is what fixed income is for. DCA, because math, it's better. Don't give a shit about taxes, unless actually tax-loss harvesting. You will pay the taxes on the gain, now or later. Taxes are paid once, and don't compound. Realized profits compound, if reinvested. Think.
Oh the MATH.. my last enemy, my first friend
China! MATH!
what does "non-retaliating" mean, because most of the countries he claimed had tariffs he was responding to, didn't... so this means nothing he just makes shit up no one has any logic or reason to back their decisions in response to what he says or does, because it's always random the put tariffs, on a country, that is an island, which has no buildings, no people, and no economy, only penguins. and said it was because they had tariffs on him... WTF IS HE EVEN SAYING he's actually delusional so... that "BREAKING NEWS" means nothing Singapore had their prime minister (basically a president) do a speech about all these tariffs, he said it made no sense because they have no tariffs and have a trade surplus with the US. So accordingly to TRUMPS OWN PLAN AND "MATH FORMULA" which isn't even a formula, they shouldn't have tariffs so why did he put them? because it's RNG and he doesn't know wtf is going on

There is something called MATH If you do the MATH and value Tesla base on how much money they make vs say Toyota, the stock would be $15. why would you buy Tesla at 20x the value based on earnings multiples than another company? especially since growth is gone. you see, most people don't understand the value of a stock and how to value them. but the people with big money do. so they will short Tesla on every pop until it is valued appropriately
I bought 100 shares of $MSTR and 1000 shares of $MATH, not because I believe in Bitcoin, or the companies, but because I believe this is going to get fucking stupid before it all crashes in flames.
This post is incorrect on many levels. You don't need to be rich or have insider knowledge to make money in the stock market. During Trumps first term, the middle-class in America were making about $5K more a year while inflation averaged about 1.8% through 4 years, the middle-class got poorer and the rich got richer under Biden. The house also does not always have the edge when you are gambling at a casino, the edge the house may or may not have will depend on the game you play but there are games you can play against other players, instead of the house so choose not to pay against the house. Have you ever heard of Phil Ivey? He played this billionaire from Texas, Andy Beal, and beat him for $16,000,000 over 3 days. In this case, Beal's unlimited money was transferred to a guy with limited money so the amount of money Beal had was a negative, not a positive for him. What you should do instead of whatever this is, is to play the probabilities, you can't beat God no matter how much money you have and MATH IS GOD.

FYI, you would be doing yourself a massive favor by getting in tomorrow morning with MGOL. still holding at .50 . When their other stock comes out later next month, it'll blow up. I think it will hit $1 before then though. BBAI will only go up from here. I have 7500 BBAI and bought in at $4 . I won't sell anytime soon. EFOI & STAI & MATH & ADTX & PRPH I will be buying more Tuesday morning. I suggest people look into these and do your own DD. But as for me .... 🥳

Great news for MATH Hong Kong crypto fintech company, relative volume already 7x pre-market: Metalpha Technology Holding (MATH) has reported strong financial results for the six months ended September 30, 2024, with total revenue reaching $19.7 million, representing a 388% increase compared to the same period in FY2024. The company achieved a significant turnaround with net income of $6.0 million, compared to a net loss of $3.9 million in the prior-year period. Additionally, the Board of Directors has approved a $5 million share repurchase program to be executed over the next 36 months through open market purchases or privately negotiated transactions.

Based on recent advancements and evaluations, the best reasoning-focused Large Language Models (LLMs) as of 2025 are determined by their performance in benchmarks, cost efficiency, and accessibility. Below is an analysis of the leading contenders: — ### **1. OpenAI’s o1 Series** - **Strengths**: - Pioneered **inference-scaling architectures**, allowing models to improve performance by allocating more computational resources during inference. This enables deeper exploration of solution spaces for complex tasks like mathematics and coding. - Achieves top-tier scores on reasoning benchmarks, including MATH-500 and coding challenges like Codeforces (96.3rd percentile human-level performance). - Supported by OpenAI’s extensive infrastructure and iterative advancements. - **Limitations**: - High operational costs compared to competitors (e.g., $26.25 per 1M tokens for o1 vs. $2.00 for DeepSeek-R1) . - Proprietary access limits customization and transparency. — ### **2. DeepSeek-R1 (China)** - **Strengths**: - **Open-source and affordable**: MIT-licensed, with a cost 90–95% lower than OpenAI’s o1. The full 671B-parameter model matches o1’s performance in math (79.8% on AIME 2024) and coding benchmarks . - **Accessibility**: Distilled versions (1.5B–70B parameters) can run on consumer hardware, democratizing advanced reasoning capabilities. - **Architecture**: Uses a mixture-of-experts design and reinforcement learning for enhanced problem-solving. - **Limitations**: - Subject to Chinese regulatory policies, filtering sensitive topics like Taiwan or Tiananmen Square. - Requires high-end hardware for the full model. — ### **3. Google Gemini 1.5 Pro/Flash** - **Strengths**: - **Multimodal capabilities**: Processes text, images, and video, with a **1M-token context window** for long-context reasoning. - Competitive pricing (e.g., $0.35 per 1M tokens for Gemini 1.5 Flash) . - **Limitations**: - Lags behind o1 and DeepSeek-R1 in specialized math and coding benchmarks . — ### **4. Anthropic Claude 3.5 Sonnet** - **Strengths**: - Balances performance and cost ($3 per 1M tokens) with strong general reasoning and ethical alignment. - Excels in conversational and safety-focused tasks. - **Limitations**: - Lower scores in technical benchmarks compared to o1 and DeepSeek-R1 . — ### **5. Eurus (Open-Source)** - **Strengths**: - State-of-the-art **open-source model** (based on Mistral-7B and CodeLlama-70B), achieving 33.3% pass@1 accuracy on LeetCode. - Trained with **UltraInteract**, a dataset optimized for complex reasoning. - **Limitations**: - Outperforms GPT-3.5 Turbo but trails behind newer models like o1 and DeepSeek-R1. — ### **Key Considerations** - **Cost vs. Performance**: DeepSeek-R1 offers the best value, while o1 leads in raw capability but at a premium price . - **Accessibility**: Open-source models (DeepSeek-R1, Eurus) enable customization and local deployment, whereas proprietary models (o1, Gemini) prioritize ease of use . - **Geopolitical Dynamics**: DeepSeek’s rise highlights China’s growing influence in AI, challenging U.S.-led models like o1 . — ### **Conclusion** For **cutting-edge performance**, **OpenAI’s o1** remains the leader, but **DeepSeek-R1** is the best overall choice due to its open-source nature, affordability, and comparable benchmarks. For general-purpose use, **Gemini 1.5 Flash** and **Claude 3.5 Sonnet** provide balanced options, while **Eurus** excels in open-source scenarios.

Your boomer math isn’t going to work here. Common core math all the way. Positions: Long $MSTR. Short boomer $MATH.
YEAH I HAVE AND THE MATH CHECKS OUT 🍻CHAIRs my FIRIEND
MATH! That's how! So check this out: - 4,190 shares - Cost Basis $47,185.75 (apparently the grand total, instead of per-share like most apps do) - 47185 / 4190 = about $11; OP paid on average $11 per share - When was $APPL ever in that price range? Must be somewhere around 2008-2011?
EVERY INVESTMENT COMES WITH RISK. ITS NOT A zero sum game. The odds are in your favor. You can even model the probability of your option trade and have a vast amount of resources at your disposal to verify before making the trade. Markets can then change and if your trade isn’t going as expected you can pivot and move to another. It’s call EXIT STRATEGY. THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT EVERY OPTION TRADE HAS THIS OUTCOME. You are thinking in terms of public misconceptions and cliches which will make you unsuccessful in anything let alone options or dimply investing in stock. There’s no exit strategy after buying a lottery ticket or placing a bet. You win or lose. That is a zero sum game. Like blackjack ( unless you are a skilled card counter ) you will eventually lose everytime because of the MATH. In the stock market the math is in your favor. You need to learn it you’re right.
"But money isn’t a currency?" You don't know the difference between money and currency and yet think you are so smart. No, money is not currency. "We move on to something better and more sustainable" Money was originally backed by gold, 20USD would get you an ounce of gold. In 1971 Richard Nixon decoupled the gold peg and allowed the government to print money ad infinitum. Do you think that made the world a better place? See [wtfhappenedin1971.com](http://wtfhappenedin1971.com) and look how everything crashed after that. We don't have a better system than before. "Deflation just encourages people to hold onto their capital" You have no knowledge of economics, deflation causes people to weigh on the value of what they need. Why did you buy your iphone if you could have waited 2 years and bought it cheaper (same exact model too!). You can literally wait 2 years and your iphone will be half price, so why not wait? People buy what they NEED and what they value in their time horizons. This shows you just spew whatever they feed you but have no understanding on real economics. Many things get cheaper over time and people STILL buy them. If you need to force people to spend money by stealing it from them slowly that is NOT a good economy. "No money does not start as a collectible" Try using ChatGPT, he will tell you, you just don't want to learn. "didn’t speak about exchange rates, local currencies, interest rates, monetary policy" What do you want to know about it, why do you need local currencies and exchange rates when you can have a GLOBAL HONEST currency for everybody, backed by MATH? "you don’t seem to have any specific use for Bitcoin." Here are five. 1) People were able to flee Ukraine after the government seized their bank accounts by storing their WHOLE networth in their BRAINS. 2) Couples in high inflation countries like Argentina are able to SAVE money through the years in order to buy a home or move out of the country at some point 3) A woman in Iran can now be financially sovereign as they don't let women open bank account in that country 4) A kid in Nigeria can work in exchange for money that he can actually save for when he turns 18 years old. 5) People don't have to trust intermediaries or custodians to store their capital (brokers, banks, governments)
The amount of explaining I have to do to a MATH major about how no dear, 2019 prices are not coming back and you don't WANT them to come back, is sad.
No nana, no peace. No 🥭, no nana! DO THE MATH!!!!!!!!!
You die-hard passive investors are so damn hard headed!!! The math here doesn’t lie. Y’all are like election deniers …The more evidence to the contrary, you just ignore the evidence, double-down, and deny the truth. READ THE FRIKKIN DATA. The numbers are real. They are not manufactured. They are audited and clearly show Capital Group’s unique process, deep research and low expenses have provided investors with consistently superior long-term results. They don’t win every lap, but they win the long term race, and with a smoother ride. Just because the average fund doesn’t beat their respective index, doesn’t mean there aren’t funds that can and do outpace. It’s like saying “well the average human can’t dunk a basketball, therefore no human can possibly dunk a basketball” It’s just plain dumbass. (BTW,,,I don’t get The guy that argues that “benchmark” it’s somehow misleading!?!?, each fund has to have a benchmark to compare itself too) In the back is EVERY Capital fund’s win rate over all MONTHLY ROLLING 1,3,5,10,15,20 yrs. LOOK AT THE WIN RATE. Look at the alpha. It’s over 100’s of periods. MATH DONT LIE. Also-they have NEVER closed a fund or merged with another to sweep the results under the carpet. Never ever never. AND…just because it was produced by Capital Group does not make it misleading. Quit denying that a handful of active managers, with a focus on low expenses, a great process, deep research, and talented people can “beat the index”. Ps they created all indexes labeled MSCI MSCI Stands for Morgan Stanley CAPITAL INTERNATIONAL. They sold to MS in the late 80’s. So even the indexes that international and global investments are compared to had their origin at Capital. Pss. Vanguard Board Member and die hard Indexer Charlie Ellis wrote a book about Capital clearly admitting that, while few managers have outpaced indexing over meaningful time periods, Capital has done it, and done it CONSISTENTLY. I’ll attach the link to the book, but know that NONE of you will read, because it would totally blow your belief that “NO manager can beat a benchmark” https://www.amazon.com/Capital-Story-Long-Term-Investment-Excellence/dp/0471567043 “There’s math, and everything else is up for debate” -Chris Rock Go buy your lower cost index fund, save a few bps, and end up with a more volatile ride, less money, and guarantee yourself you will NEVER out pace the benchmark. Go trip over a $100 bill and pick up that nickel! Look at PAGE 6. How’d that work out for someone retired since 2000?? I’ll tell you how, they had to go get fitted for a vest at Wal Mart. But they sure got the cheapest fund!!! WhooHoo
**ILL NEVER USE MATH IN real world!!!!** SPY: forming a sine wave on behalf of thetacucks
this is what bers say about anyone who makes more than a dollar in the market. "REEEEEE THESE GAINS ARE A LIE. I LOST MONEY AND IM SO SMART. IF I CANT MAKE MONEY NOBODY CAN REEEEE STANDARD DEVIATION VIX REEEEE MATH WORDS I DONT UNDERSTAND I SAW ON TWITTER REEEEE"
not by a lot this seems to benchmark nearly on par with Llama 3.1 across GSM8, MATH, and HumanEval, and that’s against its 405 billion parameter model versus Llama’s previous 70b model, Nvidia’s 72b parameter model benches slightly better. what numbers are you seeing that are “far more advanced” ?? it’s not that far off from Llama 405B…. ain’t quite near Claude yet but benching better than Gemini too
for the elite few who follow, am not posting any hard numbers or plays because I can’t call a clear local bottom yet - vol expansion toward the election is beyond obvious and everyone has been calling that for the past month. flow here is negative unless we retake ~5740. haven’t had exposure today because I don’t see an advantaged play yet. if you have thoughts (based on fucking MATH and KNOWLEDGE, not “red dog lmao”) feel free to chime in
So at first I said Options aren’t for you … but then I read the comments and your replies… I get it and many times gut and experience plays into my trades. You might be too mathematical if that makes sense. If it were a 100% math calculation then everyone would be millionaires. You have to have an understanding of the overall market sentiment and things that can affect the market or a specific stock on any specific day… like earnings, being hacked CRWD, the Japan “Carry Trade”, economic measure releases like PPI, CPI and ANY Fed member saying anything at all right now with the expected rate cut this week. MATH CAN’T GIVE YOU THAT! At any given moment there are algorithms that can be set off to BUY or SELL on certain words of news stories, so it’s not easy and the odds are always stacked against you. Then there are algorithm sells/buys for no reason that tend to happen in the afternoon. I call it the bewitching hour… usually around 2p I’ve been in many services through the years and people will likely give me shit for this but this is where I would start to learn more of if I were you. No, I don’t know either one of these people personally. You could check out Scott Redler on X . @reddogt3 .. he does a free session every morning at 6:30a EST. And posts it so you can replay. He’s been trading since the 90’s. Very down to earth and is good at explaining things. @realJGBanks on X is dedicated to teaching people with small accounts and I think his lifetime membership is ~$1k … he does lots of master classes, very straightforward and an excellent teacher. He is live on voice every morning usually for a few hours and then comes back in the afternoon if the market warrants it. He’s a 1 or 2 trade guy a day and done. ✔️ One more … Manz @APlusOptionsPro … he is an excellent trader, methodical and transparent. He also does live market analysis and trade plans. He tells you exactly what he’s looking at and why. $150/mo. I think. Good luck 🍀
