Half my portfolio is biotech now from having been almost 100% tech. It’s been doing a LOT better than my tech. Check out VRTX, ALNY, MDGL, REGN, CRSP, SMMT, NTLA and BEAM. A lot of upside and good momentum in this space.
Go research MedTech stocks. I got tired of the same. And even if I followed though on many of my ideas, I dont have the steel nads to live through the huge drops that accompanied the huge spikes. Im not saying that the Meds are easy. But the catalysts are easy to identify...which are FDA study results, both good and poor. If you get it right, you can catch a rocket from $5 to $500. If you are wrong, you just linger. Youre not dropping $150 in 8 hours. Just check out MDGL. Its at $515. Strong buy from 15 analysts. $676 avg forecast with some as high as $900. I moved to medtech focus and haven't gone back
SGMT Billions in TAM for ACNE and MASH. Mid trial MASH data in couple of days MDGL LLY NVO AKRO ETNB
Anyone holding MDGL for a buy out??
SGMT and competitors. Not talking MDGL in the small picture here. AKRO was acquired by Novo Nordisk for $5.2 billion, while ETNB was acquired by Roche for $3.5 billion. In comparison, SGMT currently has a market capitalization of $193.14 million, representing a significant discount relative to the potential valuations of ACNE and MASH, which have total addressable markets (TAM) in the billions. Additionally, SGMT stands to receive a $122 million milestone payment on the successful completion of the Phase 3 ACNE trial.
SGMT Good Acne data, Same drug is in testing for MASH with clean safety profile. TAMS in billions. BP bought competitors for billions AKRO and ETNB. MDGL mc in billions. Worth more than 5 times the mc now and buyout can go lot higher.
There's a lot of evidence to suggest the weight loss drugs are extremely effective at treating MASH as well. I don't see long-term upside for MDGL or any MASH only focused drugs.
This isn’t analysis, it’s a narrative. You’re assigning a specific dilution range without knowing financing terms, timing, or whether they pursue a partnership — so that number is basically made up. Calling pemvidutide ‘not a weight loss drug’ is also objectively wrong based on published trial outcomes. And ‘MDGL is king’ is not an argument — MASH won’t be a winner-take-all market. If you’re bearish, that’s fine, but at least separate facts from assumptions and not make stuff up.
Please, I cannot stress this enough, people need to do adequate research before investing. Do not invest only because of a Reddit post. Technicals do not matter for biotech stocks so let's instead look at factual data. For the financials: ALT is in a very struggling position, very low cash on hand, not enough to fund their P3, they are instead waiting for a partner (as per CEO). This means there is much less leverage if partnership/buyout. It also means if they can't partner, they will have to massively dilute, up to 25-35% of their market cap to fund P3 until approval. Not an ideal situation. For weight loss: Pemvidutide does not appear to be competitive on weight loss. It's extremely low vs even semaglutide, and that's without even talking about the big boys tirzepatide, retatrutide, VK2735. Pemvidutide IS NOT a weight loss drug. It is a MASH drug. This was corroborated by management, they are only pursuing MASH and not weight loss. This means the potential market is much, much, much smaller than the weight loss market. For MASH: Pemvidutide as I said is a MASH drug. It will sell if approved, sure. How much? That's the question. I'd argue not much. MDGL is currently the king in this market. However, the thing that's still not talked about is the fact that tirzepatide and VK2735 both appear to have a more significant effect on MASH than pemvidutide, and those are WL drugs. So a two-in-one. What does pemvidutide have that the others do not? They appear to have slightly better muscle preservation according to early studies but it wasn't really expanded upon, so very hard to say if this impact is significant. I am not shorting ALT currently, but I don't believe in the company long term. My price target is $0 by 2030 if GIA is pursued and they can't partner. If they can partner, then the target is maybe $6-8. Not much more than that.
My best plays this year were APP MDGL and TER, not AI or GLP
$Alt data is sub par, management and cash flow is shit. They're not it sorry man. $VKTX and $MDGL more likely options with the former being the biggest likelihood for partnership.
Looking at $MDGL again after the recent dip. The fundamentals look good on paper — solid Q1 sales, gross margins near 97%, $1.1B in cash, patent until 2044, and good Phase 3 + CHMP. But the company’s still EBITDA-negative (\~–50%), and I’m not sure how big the GLP-1 overhang is for NASH long-term. Reimbursement risk feels like the elephant in the room too. At \~1x FY30 EV/Sales it looks cheap… but is it actually just appropriately discounted? Anyone here holding long-term? Or sitting out for now?
$SPERO Phase 3 terminated early as data too positive. Buyout target. Class leading oral therapy for complicated UTIs. Everything else requires in-patient IV therapy. $GSK partnership and milestone payments. Under $3 rn. I see it going to $7-8 this fall with IND filing and publication. My position is 1000 shares. I brought you punks $MDGL. Don’t sleep on this one.
I just sold 25% of my MDGL and 25% of my ROKU. Then I added some to my DECK position. I sold a lot more than I added, today. Recently, I sold all my SHAK and all my GOOS (I bought earlier in 2025). If VKTX, Z, and RDDT go up, I'll start to reduce my positions, and add some to my crushed positions (DECK and VFC). I add shares, when stocks drop. I shed shares, when they retrace upward.
That’s what I’m always hunting for. Just redeployed into TARS and MDGL
John Paulson has way many shares as do the Bakers I believe. John Paulson**Largest Holding:** As of Q1 2025, Madrigal Pharma (MDGL) is Paulson's largest holding, making up approximately 40% of his portfolio. * **Conviction and Ownership:** This reflects Paulson's continued belief in the company's potential, as he incrementally increased his stake, holding a 10.7% ownership in Madrigal. Baker may be over 10% by now. Eventually it goes higher I'd say. They'd have to stumble with unknown or terrible side effects to derail. Their science was thought to be invredible where others have failed. Seems like a great company. I hope they do well. A bit early for a high taleover bid though? Seagen grew quite a bit before being taken out. The Baker Brothers may be there to let them grow more? I see it valued at over 25 billion someday. I don't think anyone would pay that now.
You need to choose very wisely in this sector. Your choice are mostly very poor, so better dont invest in single companies without a clue. Good examples are: VRNA NBIX ARGX MDGL BBIO. Look for solid cashpile (>2 years runway), ideally profitable and also should be commercial stage. Clinical only is mostly risky is you have no clue
I’ve been in TGTX since the teens. I hold massive position in ARQT. And holding huge amount of SWTX which is currently negotiations a buyout with Merck kgaA Waiting to free up $$ to add VRNA MDGL
Don’t mean to spam but MDGL - multi million dollar option activity for multiple days now. April calls. I’m going in very strong as a buyout play. Hard to mask the option activity when it historically had little

Hey M: Ex P here. This is an outstanding investment for anyone who has a 2-4 year risk tolerance. MOA, optimal vs. some of the other MASH drugs. This endorsement of their MOA was brought out by Dr. Scott Friedman, the # KOL in MASH(disovered the hepatic stellate cell). Good enough for me, having worked in Hepatology, back in the day. Their phase 2b data recently published in the Lancet shows it to be more effective than Resmitrom(MDGL); CMO is a Hepatologist by training, with many yrs of pharma experience. C suite, and several board members well versed in M&A. Baker Bros, who own majority stake in MDGL also invested here, and its not a stretch to think that the 2 could partner, either as one company eventually or in clinical trials, since combination treatment is the future. Market cap very undervalued. Ph2 program closed, and 2 large Phase 3 trials, written, ready to go, but the CEO has been clear they need about 200-300 million to fully fund the late phase program. They are actively pursuing funding partnerships, and that is what is holding share price down for the moment. P.S. had to alter my ID because SLS moderator kept blocking my comments. Oppenheimer is right here.
MDGL has an approved drug waiting to be commercialised. Still trades cheaply compared to the market opportunity.
Why didn't anyone tell me to full port MDGL calls on Wednesday
This morning $MDGL for NASH rust reported huge earnings, and yet $VKTX who is not that far behind, has BETTER data. So yes, $VKTX is not just weight loss, which makes it even better for a M&A deal.
Feeling pretty good today, MDGL is mooning!
LCTX - almost done with stem cell therapy ph2 trial with Roche GALT - will release trial results by 1/1/25. See MDGL for comp. GFGSF - there’s gold in them hills!
MDGL and GERN (not investment advice)
Several mid-cap stocks have started to bounce back, including **Madrigal Pharmaceuticals (MDGL)**, **CymaBay Therapeutics (CBAY)**, **Iovance Biotherapeutics (IOVA)**, and **Beam Therapeutics (BEAM)**, which have shown solid rebounds thanks to positive clinical trial results, strategic acquisitions, and broader improvements in biotech sentiment. It’s an exciting time for the sector, looking forward to hearing your thoughts as well!
Thanks for the uncalled insult about my education, but I’m still not sure what you’re trying to disprove from my post so can you clarify please? MDGL is being marketed it for NAFLD but it is for NASH and being marketed for that too. Here’s a [Nature](https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-023-02603-1) article explaining that and it kinda shows how they’re marketing it for NAFLD and it is a NASH drug. To add more details, NASH is a subtype of NAFLD and NAFLD can be used as the general term for the disease and NASH is the specific disease. It’s similar to how lung cancer is a general term and small cell carcinoma is a type of lung cancer. Here’s a [Yale](https://www.yalemedicine.org/news/rezdiffra-for-nash-nonalcoholic-steatohepatitis) touching on that topic. GLP-1 agonist from Viking then sure, it’s better. I’ll even go as far as saying once that drug is out it’ll put MDGL out of business if that makes you happy. However, that drug from Viking is years away from being at the stage Rezdiffra is at currently. So, not sure how that is relevant in the discussion now since as the FDA approval gets closer for that people can just sell their shares and hop on that boat. Similar to how you sold your own MDGL shares after learning new info. Maybe I’m not using the right source, so can you share the -30% response rate source please? Here’s what I’m using for my numbers [source 1](https://www.rezdiffrahcp.com/clinical-trial-results/) and [source 2](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1157601/000119312524195400/d813823dex991.htm#:~:text=New%20analyses%20from%20noninvasive%20test,on%20patient%20worry%2C%20health%20distress) says 91% showed improvements. I don’t know anything about management diluting shares and I’m not going to argue about that because I just don’t know enough. You’re probably right. Also, you made money holding the stock but lost money with options? Maybe the options part was the problem and not the stock? Non of my business obviously, but you’re generalizing a lot in your comment it seems.
Like you said, it’s for obesity and not the liver, so it doesn’t directly impact Rezdiffra. Also, they have different mechanisms of action in terms of their obesity and NASH drug so they’re not interchangeable. Additionally, phase 3 trials take 1-3 years to complete and report on then they still need to get FDA approval, so that’s still years away which means MDGL will have time to stay in the market in that time.
Biotech is so beaten down it's unreal. I mean, Buffet has enough cash on hand to literally buy every single biotech in the USA. You don't need to buy bios with upcoming PDUFA's to make money. There are gobs of bios with FDA APPROVED drugs, i.e. companies that are derisked, selling for cash and sometimes even less. BLUE: 3 FDA approved genetic treatments that cost them $4B to make, the stock is selling for $189m. Any buyer would get a huge loss carryforward AND the three treatments. IOVA: Just had the first TIL treatment approved for melanoma. Wayne Rothbaum, a legendary bio investor, is the largest shareholder. The stock just fell 60% from the PDUFA approval high. APLS: Approved treatement for geographic atrophy. Peak sales are estimated at $3.6B. The stock is down 50% YOY. MDGL: Only approved treatment for NASH/MASH. It's a double if they get bought. It's a double if they don't get bought. No competition for years to come. The point is, there are bargains to be had with DERISKED bios. In this environment, there's absolutely no reason to gamble on a bio for the PDUFA spike when you can snatch up companies with approved treatments for pennies on the dollar.
After the Hype Dies Down: Legit Short Squeeze at 27% of Float, Likely Buyout Candidate, About to earn Billions in Revenue from New and Only Drug for NASH: MDGL.
DAWN, XFOR, MDGL… list goes on and on
MDGL puts, who’s fucking with me?
PDUFA is approval. Also ATH means nothing in BIOs, especially since ATHs were during 2020 / 2021 bubble Also that price could be based on different numbers of shares whicg were outsranding at the time. Bios always dilute to get working capital, and especially after positive PDUFA to ramp up marketing and production. IBRX just issued a shelf which bumps potential offering to 500 million at 5.11 per share. End of the day, it's your money, but positive PDUFA doesnt correlate with stock mooning. I will give you some examples of recent PDUFAs, and you can check the charts. EYEN, IOVA, MDGL.
GERN failed to make 4s since approval multiple times. Being long bio right now is just pain. Hit by macro, interest rates etc etc. LABU down to low 80s from 170s 7 weeks ago, XBI also low 80s from 102-ish a few weeks ago Even FDA approved BIOs with strong operations and balance sheets getting wrecked (IOVA, MDGL, VNDA etc).
VRTX better product than NVO wegovy and LLY Zepbound and they have a superior NASH drug compared to MDGL?? No brainer long VKTX since $17.92. VKTX $200 stonk soon
$MDGL FDA approval was already priced in? lol
MDGL is about to rip in T-Minus 6 minutes
MDGL looking good in the post market. 2/2 biopharm wins this year. My other one AQST is almost high enough for wsb market cap rules.
MDGL baby!! Viking should move on sympathy.
Alcoholics should be happy with this MDGL news.
Anyone following this story today? FDA decision is due today, March 14. MDGL and other companies addressing NASH are down significantly while we await the decision.
MDGL will have a PDUFA review tomorrow for their NASH drug. High probability this drug will get FDA approval. Last time they reported positive FDA news the stock blasted from mid 60's to $290. MDGL 350c 3/15. I don't really expect it to be in the money so I'm selling tomorrow after the expected pump (I hope).
$MDGL is gonna pop 20% by the end of this week fa so
I appreciate the information you collected. That's also what I have collected. In addition, MDGL "announced that the company granted equity awards to (i) Mardi C. Dier, the Company’s new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective March 11, 2024 and (ii) 39 other new employees, in each case with a grant date of March 1, 2024, as equity inducement awards under the terms of the company's 2023 Inducement Plan. The equity awards were approved in accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4). The equity awards were granted as inducement material to Ms. Dier’s and the other employees’ acceptance of employment with the company. Ms. Dier received options to purchase 13,353 shares of Madrigal’s common stock, 8,875 time-based restricted stock units and 8,875 market-based performance stock units (“MSUs”). The other new employees received, in the aggregate, options to purchase 853 shares of Madrigal’s common stock, and in the aggregate 11,796 time-based restricted stock units. All options granted have an exercise price of $251.63 per share..." It seems that they are highly confident that they will get the approval, otherwise this grant will be meaningless. However, this might also be a "trap." I'm struggling, too.
I bought when the market crash. Gotta have balls. Posted position if you look through my post. Glad I made out. You win some and lose some. Unless you have insider knowledge. I made out on Dell, Robin puts and AVGO. Lost on Amazon long puts and now mrvl. Honest answers. YOLO next week on MDGL. News coming. Get on it. You will thank me.
MDGL Madrigal Pharmaceuticals FDA approval of Resmetirom is set for March 14th and they just announced phase 3 publication in the NEJoM so I'm buying some shares
MDGL - big MASH and liver fibrosis drug, approval date coming up, first on the market for its indication.
I read through the entire thread. I professionally trade options for a living. These are my thoughts: >I'm trying to find a way to peek into the options order book for SPX. Why?!?! Unless you want to market make SPX options, it's meaningless. It's going to be a lot of market makers constantly updating their quotes. The big market moving trades still happen on their open outcry pit, not in the eletronic market. You'd be much better served getting to go down to the pit for a few days to see JPM buy 2k lots off the floor, watching floor brokers give different bid/asks mumbling very quietly and rush in to join the allocation saying something different lol. >Do these financial titans leave their unfilled positions out in the open for us mere mortals to see, or do they have a way of cloaking their moves, pulling unfilled orders at the end of the day only to resubmit them when the market reopens? Hedgefunds are known as **buy** side liquidity. When they take a position, they freaking buy it. They take liquidty as they know the payoff is going to be huge. They're not cloaking their moves/etc like they do with icebergs for options. If they want options its because something is moving quick, going down quick, and they want the immediate sheer leverage. People watch volume and OI and know if things are getting accumulated quickly. If they want to be cloak and dagger that's going to be more long delta equities side with icebergs, etc. You're much better getting good options trade data that reports all the OPRA condition codes and watch what 1,000 lots do, and filter out stuff like SPX/RUT/etfs. I've made excellent money off this previously - biggest win was seeing some floor trader buy a shit ton of MDGL calls right before it exploded December 2022, sending the stock from $60 to $290.
MDGL is a pure NASH play with no obesity pipeline. VKTX is about to outclass MDGL in NASH anyway once it drops the phase 2b data in the 1H of this year.
I own MDGL for less than 100 a share, having said that I have already trimmed 1/3 of my position at 250. I anticipate that the pdufa on 14/3 will be sell the news event, but until then I expect the stock to rise to the 275 level. Long term I think the Baker bros will try to sell the company but if that doesn't happen it all depends on the earnings after the FDA approval. Anyway, I plan to sell the second 3rd of my position before march 14th and leave the rest for the long term.
Primary issue is going to be peptides. Viking has a NASH treatment everyone forgets about because of thier weight loss line. It is well tolerated as the body already produces it. It will likely has a wider approval for NAFLD and NASH although a bit behind MDGL. Every drug so far submitted from phase 3 has been declined by the FDA because of the side effect profile and not enough benefit. This may be a sell the rimor type situation. Good luck. Holding VKTG.
I think MDGL and MIRUM are both THE gambles upcoming, but that is exactly what it is, a huge ass gamble, I’m in because my last big hit was Alvotech this Friday and Tgtx last year with their fda approvals. Crossing my fingers we’re on the correct side of the gamble
MDGL? Anyone with thoughts. Been in my portfolio for a while. Following recent success in biopharm stocks my parents now have given me additional funds (asking me to invest their money) allowing myself to leverage myself to 4x with margin. I'm a bit mentally unstable at the minute, so looking for some other opinions on the stock.
MDGL
MDGL and NVDA
I made some good profit on MDGL calls this week but took profit before the weekend. Anyone like this one going into earnings 2/22?
Buying calls on MDGL. It's going to hit $200 in the next few days. YOLO!
MDGL April 19 $350 Calls...
MDGL - FDA DEADLINE 3/14/24. 210$ Calls 1/17/25 expiration -$14MM Premium Purchased This will receive FDA approval and rally significantly
Madrigal MDGL Viking Therapeutics VKTX Both have drugs in late stage development for NASH and could be huge takeover targets. I am up around 20% with MDGL in three months or so.
What happened to MDGL
They don't have any meteoric impact because I stick to my sl and use expiration as downside protection. Lost a few thousand together on $MDT, $AMLX, $MDGL, $KRTX, $VKTX, $XENE $DIS and $SE. I have I also don't sell at the right time lol, $NVDA cons I took last month went for over 9,000% but I'll never be ashamed of taking profits. As for all the the biotech companies listed, their gains are almost all from a major data readout, except $RETA, so it's kind of hard to miss out when you know what will be driving the stock
a lot of the time FDA approvals are. All I do is trade biotechs and work in the industry. If there’s little to no uncertainty for an approval the stock won’t move. RETA earlier this year is a highly specialized exception. Clinical data readouts however are the true high volatility catalysts… IMGN P3 confirmatory trial +170%, I made a bag on calls. MDGL P3 NASH 250%, AKRO P2 NASH 150%, MLTX P2 +85% Protip: if you wanna trade options on biotechs do it over important clinical trial catalysts where there’s uncertainty over the outcome.
HEPA, compare its mc to competitors MDGL and VKTX. This is because its not as far a long in trials. There is an interim results readout Monday before open. This will move the stock big one way or another imo. Just the announcement of the readout on Friday after close moved it up over 50%. Another interesting thing. They recently did a reverse split and the stock tanked about 50% but there was no longer an open options market following this. Then shortly after the data readout announcement. What do you think this means?
NASH is something that I was following to but MDGL already had such a huge run from there trial results that I didn't know if there was much left to squeeze.
No that’s the right approach too. I got into TGTX since their RMS drug had better efficacy than Novartis’s. Overall the ones I want to gamble on need to have something close to best in class or in a hot segment like NASH for example (MDGL ETNB VKTX)
MDGL at trend
Small cap biotechs addressing obesity and metabolic disorders with good results in clinical trials so far could be a goo bet. Examples: VKTX MDGL. Both have popped recently but I think they have a lot more upside. I know a brilliant scientist and MD who has both and has become independently wealthy on them. Disclosure: I own a small amount of VKTX because I don't have deep pockets. I list some paywalled articles, but you will get the idea: [https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2023/04/ozempic-wegovy-mounjaro-weight-loss-drug-development-access/673627/](https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2023/04/ozempic-wegovy-mounjaro-weight-loss-drug-development-access/673627/)

not sure if you kiddos are still in this, this stock is a goldmine and i've rode this wave once for 6 figures, and am riding this again for more. i have 4,600 shares...been holding for 4 years after cashing in at $18 in 2018. this stock is an absolutely derisked winner (MDGL is based on the same MOA and has already had positive results). there's very little risk if you understand the science. there's a weight loss drug and the primary NASH drug (2809). the weight loss drug only dropped early phase 1 results today, but the data is promising, hence the jump. the main catalyst for phase 2b will be dropping in the next few months and like i said, MDGL already showed this MOA works. expect $25-30 when that data drops, at which point it's best to cash in after that catalyst. there's a chance VKTX gets bought by big pharma, but if it doesn't, i'll ride phase 3 once again for another 6 figure gain.
Idk not investment advice but this could easily do what MDGL did
RETA. Biopharma company, yesterday got an approval. Most shorts are still trapped and I expect similar move to MDGL
The June expiration calls have are indeed the riskiest. I consider those to be my lottery tickets. Here is the full chain of all of my options with dates and strike prices. The first column is when I plan to start selling each chunk to de-risk, while trying to ride the majority of the Jan 2024 and 2025 until approvals, possible buy-outs, etc. You will certain find people with better understanding of the science, but as for myself I had other people help validate for me that TIL therapy can be the "next thing" similar to how CAR-T therapies came into the markets, etc. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions. Once last note, there is a great book on Amazon that will give you the overview of the players in the space (Maria Fardis, Edelman, Rothbaum, etc) called For [Blood and Money](https://www.amazon.com/Blood-Money-Billionaires-Biotech-Blockbuster/dp/0393540952/ref=pd_ci_mcx_mh_mcx_views_0?pd_rd_w=LVzNO&content-id=amzn1.sym.1bcf206d-941a-4dd9-9560-bdaa3c824953&pf_rd_p=1bcf206d-941a-4dd9-9560-bdaa3c824953&pf_rd_r=H9K0Q6VBVE77N8AMZZ4J&pd_rd_wg=juHsj&pd_rd_r=78586b16-0777-4944-83e2-e0209fc7abed&pd_rd_i=0393540952). I got lucky on a previous hit with MDGL as you can see on my [earlier post](https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/zvnz9j/its_been_a_good_year/). https://preview.redd.it/7qnd59lfxmja1.jpeg?width=2256&format=pjpg&auto=webp&v=enabled&s=f25ba8444b5af54c340deba3f077a7e64240d196
Is $MDGL gonna drop even more ?
This is folllwing MDGL that had positive results from a liver drug trial imo
>I believe that Intercept Pharmaceuticals (ICPT) is a good investment at this time. They are currently working on a drug for NASH, which has the potential to be a blockbuster. However, they are up against Madrigal ($MDGL), who has a better product. I think that Intercept's long-term data and their experience in trials gives them an advantage over Madrigal.
Had something crazy happen. Gained on a bear credit spread after the stock shot way up. On 12/13, I entered into a bear call spread on Madrigal Pharmaceuticals (MDGL) with a Jan expiration at the 70/75 short/long strike prices when the stock was trading at around 60. I had a credit of 21.90 on the 70 call and a debit of 20.40 on the 75 call (so a net credit of 1.50). I set up an auto-close order to close the position when the position got to 50% of its max profit value (i.e. when the position could be closed for a net debit of 0.75). On 12/19, the stock shot up to a 202 opening price, and my position was closed because the 70 call was valued *less* than the 75 call (133.10 for the 70 call vs 140.90 for the 75 call, so a "debit" of -7.80). By all accounts, I should have reached my max loss at such a price. I should mention this all happened in ToS PaperMoney, so it could be a software bug in the simulator for all I know, but has something like this happened to anyone else before?
How do I spot the next stocks that jump 300/400% like MDGL - Madrigal Pharmaceuticals in 2023? In Dec 2022, Madrigal went from $60 a share to $280+ as their medical review was positive. I'd like to know how do I spot stocks like these or find tips to buy share in them? I'm not talking about penny stocks, I mean companies with shares of $20, $30, $40, $50 and $60 each.
How is no one talking about VKTX? It jumped huge on MDGL news, hadn't even posted news of their own, and their NASH drug is multifaceted. It can even help weight loss. By the end of the 2nd quarter, price should be huge. That's if a short squeeze doesn't happen first.
Shorts on MDGL hitting $301
I actually agree with this. It has elements of MDGL which ran from $210 to $300 in multiple days after news.
Do you think MDGL is going to continue going up from where it’s already at?

MDGL Phase 3 Liver disease trial
How the hell did you find MDGL, such a boring ass stock and know it would just tripple like that?
Not sure TA is going to alert you to the kind of jump MDGL had. That jumped on significant news.
