(Not investment advice) It is too risky because it's completely reliant on US tech companies. Sure, that has been a major growth driver over the last 10 years, and this portfolio would have done fantastically over that period, but if you're looking for a nine year horizon it's way, way too risky to put all your eggs in one basket. I just checked QQQ and SPY for up to date numbers and a grand total of **87.5% of your portfolio is US tech (incl ETFs)**. Presumably that is also in USD. I guess you are American so that's not too big of an issue but it would be worth diversifying with a bit of foreign currency as well. I don't want to tell you what to do, but I would - when the moment is right for you - downsize some of those individual tech stocks and purchase a couple of ETFs to give you exposure to other markets. I think if you got the tech portion of your portfolio down to 50% then it would be a lot better. Some possible diversification could include: * **LYBK (EURO STOXX Banks EUR - ACC):** this is basically exposure to the European banking system, which is probably going to benefit you since fiscal policy is much more secure in the medium term in Europe vs other places. This is also a growth area with a lot of dividend paying stocks. It is up 45.5% in the last year and 383.99% in the last five years. * **VMID (FTSE 250 GBP - DIST):** this gives you exposure to British mid-caps, which have underperformed in recent years due to political instability, but the UK has 3.5-4 years of stable government ahead and is starting to grow well (2025 Q1: 0.7%+). The pound will benefit from Labour's "Securonomics" fiscal policy that will reduce debt risk. It is up 3.07% in the last year and 35.79% the last five years. * **LCUJ (MSCI Core Japan JPY - ACC)**: with this one you're getting 500 Japanese companies across a diverse range of industries. It is in Japanese Yen which is very weak, and is probably due to cycle stronger in the medium term. That means that it could grow quite a lot even if the companies aren't performing great if you're a USD investor. It is up 6.13% in the last year and 51.74% in the last five years. * **DXS0 (SLI CHF - DIST)**: on this one you get a really nice stable, defensive position. Swiss Franc generally gets stronger in times of unrest. Typically for me this one is low growth but rarely gives me scary swings and is a nice backup to have a small chunk of my portfolio in. It is full of big name Swiss companies that pay decent dividends. It is up 10.59% in the last year and 65.44% in the last five years. But please do your own research, I just think the message is that you need to have even a nice bit of your portfolio that isn't at the whims of some random AI startup in China going global or - god forbid - China moving on Taiwan.

Got into NITO @ .45 out @ .50 thats my last day trade for the week, Holding Bags for DGLY @ .06 LGMK @ .03 and SLI @ 1.85 Hoping to see some good news with these next week. Gonna dig in and hope for a catalyst. Over all this week I'm up 8% so I can't complain. Gonna aim for up 10% next week. Had some awesome people from here and other places show me some tools that have really been helping me get a better grasp on things.

I'm holding some small bags for BON, LGMK, SLI, and BBAI. I'm also keeping an eye on DGLY. I made 30% of that little spike they had and am thinking on buying back in Monday if it looks ok. Really hoping BBAI can hit $4, that's where I want to get out. Seems like it wasn't as good a play as WOLF would have been but que sera.

SLI, but the change in government could mess that up. It's better for a 5 to 8 year play. BCE is a blue chip, relatively safe. They are expanding to the US, so they have room to grow. The focus on fibre internet is mostly recession proof. I think they can double in 2-4 years if you use DRIP (dividend reinvestment); their current dividend is over 10% ! Make lots of money my friend.

LAC is a yes, their sister company LAAC in Argentina is a bigger yes, SLI is a no. Biggest risk for LAC is a corrupt Trump administration. GM has a big stake in Thacker Pass development which is going to put it squarely in Elon’s crosshairs. I don’t know if they can legally stop the DoE loan but when has legality stopped them before? LAAC has started production on new low cost assets will be ready to ramp up when conditions improve. Also has potential tailwinds from a Trump friendly Argentinian government that is looking to expand trade partnerships with the US. SLI is developing unproven technology with a leadership team that has a history of pump and dumps on vaporware. I would stay away. It’s hard to know where a Trump admin will land on lithium. In theory he should want to take on China head on for their dumping and price manipulation, but who can fucking tell with him.

Mentions:#SLI

I’d imagine it was showing the option was trading for less than intrinsic value due to to the bid-ask spread being large, SLI is a low priced security and options are fairly illiquid with the ticker meaning you will see some crazy prices generate on options due to it showing the mid price, but getting filled below the intrinsic value is essentially impossible because the other person would just exercise as well

I made a fear-greed index of common lithium stocks --> [https://ibb.co/3p4Hk0Z](https://ibb.co/3p4Hk0Z) They started to flourish post covid. The past few months June, July, August no one hardly ever considered investing in them. So much fear, so many articles why lithium is a bad buy. All of the sudden because of some lithium deals people want to get into the sector, lithium stocks are rising, people discuss them, making posts. Although they are down if you zoom out, the entire sector in its current form is greedy and saturated If you'd ask me, now is a bad time to buy into lithium. 3-5 months ago i would have commented "go for it" the probability to gain percentages vs the the risk to loose money is on the gain side. I put $400 in NVDA in 2006 when the GeForce graphics cards came out in SLI…… The state of New Jersey sold it five years later because I forgot about it and never logged into my E*TRADE account, they gave me a check for 8K which I blew up my nose. I didn’t even know what it was from. My shares would be worth over a quarter million dollars now, talk about FOMO

Mentions:#NVDA#SLI

We're probably a similar age. Buffet said invest in what you know. I did so, long ago. I held $16,000 worth of NVDA \~14 years ago. It was flat for a year, I was young and decided to do other things with the money. When it crossed 250 I told a buddy I held it at a point. When it crossed 800 I did some quick napkin math and made a Facebook post about it. Now its over 1000. There was a race between Voodoo and nVidia at a point. Once nVidia released GeForce it was game over. Voodoo countered with a albeit powerful card at the time, but it had to be plugged into the wall which seemed insane to PC enthusiasts at the time (was it Voodoo 5 5000?). nVidia set a schedule on when the new series would come out, and they did. There was virtually zero driver issues compared to the competition because they kept it under the same architecture. The competition just could not compete. Crypto wasn't even imagined in the early 2000s. It was by chance nVidia cards were exceptional at mining for bitcoin. Maybe we should have known then (I had dual 8800s running in SLI, double damn it), but nobody really knew what AI could or can do. Now there are literally dozens, just kidding, 1000s-millions of GenXers who are kicking themselves every time this topic comes up. It's luck kid. Looking back I guess it should have been obvious. Invest in what you know and hold.
