In the mid 90's I picked up a dual processor pentium pro server with gobs of ram and a matrox millennium. It was so much ram for the time I didn't know what to do with it all so I made a ram drive and installed my games on it. It had some quirks too. Windows 95/98 didn't have the multiprocessor support needed to run on it. And XP didn't exist yet. So I had to use Win NT4.0. But despite the oddities of using a server it was great. I put SLI Voodoo2's in it and felt like a gaming god above everyone else stuck with one processor and megabytes of ram.
UEC/SLI/MP/USAR(if you’re a degen)/NB/UUUU/CRML. UEC/SLI/MP are my high conviction plays
Although it hasn’t started production SLI has done me well. It had an offering the other month and it’s now on its way back up.

I thought Disney was going to complete their purchase of FUBO and it was going to go to 8-10 a share as Disney would have a bigger... impact i it. I don't know, I bought 20,000 shares a while back. Couldn't tell you the DCA, but it was about a year ago, maybe 18 months ago. It was just speculative and going off some advice about their merger with Disney, when it was complete, it would... go up. I thought it was 1.60-1.80 when I bought it, but I can't be bothered to look. That's SUPPOSED to be finished by the end of this year, no? Or is it already done? It's in my speculative investment protfolio that had QBTS and RGTI... but I got stopped out on both. So fucking frustrated. 77 a share for QBTS and like 98 cents for RGTI and they started to sky rocket, Jensen came out and said "we're 20 years away and and I'd set my stop losses at... like 10 and 12(even thought RGTI was up around 20). Still got SLI, LAC and some other bullshit in there though. I look like once a year as it's... usually not going well...save for the two Quantum stocks.
those who miss buying SLI
Long on American lithium plays. Held through highs of the last month or so, and it’s pulled back quite a bit. I think it’s time to buy again. Still a conviction play the US will need domestic lithium production for clean energy storage, wireless electronics, evs, drones, etc. out of national security. LAC -33% in 1 week. ALB -10%. SLI -20%. SDST -30%… All is from profit taking from the +50-100%+ rips in the last month, and it falling out of the news headlines of the China trade back and forth. Fundamentally nothing has changed. It’s a good opp. (Stay clear of LIT etf for now it’s super heavy in Teslur).
I would keep an eye on SLI and WWR. I have done very well on those in the last year. They aren't even profitable yet but will be in the next few years.
I was a SLI bag holder for 4 years. Finally got out at a small profit yesterday. New generation of bag holders being minted today. RIP to them.
was there any news on SLI???
Riding the REEs... SLI, USAR, UAMY, WWR. China will keep this leverage.
SLI all the way up! Let’s go lithium!
whether or not you like heavy metal you should consider some pivoting and get heavy into metals (of the rare earth kind) ex: NB SLI and friends
Adding UAMY, SLI and LAR
SLI, they already have a grant I believe
If only this was SLI standard lithium
Lmaoo I got a call on SLI standard lithium can that jump up
yea i used to SLI their graphic cards back in the day to max crysis. theyve been hardcore going downhill and ripping everyone off since the 9000s GIT series.
SLI, if u like to bang
PPTA, HL, SLI r the play
Standard Lithium is the move. SLI already up 25% in 2 days because of Trump!

I purchased $6K of NVDA, some time around 2010. I sold around two years later for a modest profit. I thought that a company whose main customers were gamers didn't have much of a future. That was somewhat wrong. But NVDA became interesting to me when I read an article describing how the massive parallel computing engines in GPUs were starting to be used in machine learning applications. At that time SLI was popular. GPU server farms were far in the future. But I could see the potential. That article was way ahead of its time. Given the silence that followed, and the stock's mild performance, I figured that I had bought into hype, and I sold. As it turns out, I was just a decade too early.
DFLI, SLI, NUAI Current picks for the week. DFLI is showing good potential and SLI has had a bunch of good news come out recently. NUAI just keeps going up and setting new floors I picture we’ll be very happy here soon.
I’m probably a few months late to the party, but SLI is such an obvious buy it’s laughable. Only way it doesn’t end up at $25-30 in the next 12-18 months if if XOM buys them out, which is likely and will be at least 2-3x current ask
LAC and SLI have done good for me. Both are lithium mines in the US. One is set to go active in 2027 and one wont be active till 2030. But with how necessary lithium is to our current technology I cant see how it wont be profitable. Also is we get another president who pushes electric vehicles down our throats its gonna be even more lucrative. Both are sub $3 currently
bought SLI for today, that’s about it
$SLI already doubled. Lithium sleeper.
They are just coming up from a dip. An analyst set a price target in May of almost 2x what it is now. Finviz shows a price target of $4.50. Their EPS is forecast to decrease over the next year, but I can see loading up now while it's cheap. SLI's financials look better than LAC's, but SLI's price target is only $2.75. Why is their target lower?
I was building SLI gaming rigs for pennies back in 2000. If id put 10% of my earnings into Nvidia stock... Hindsight etc
SLI was even a thing during Voodoo’s era? I feel like I didn’t hear about SLI mid late 2000s. Didn’t even hear about nvidia till 2000s as well.
too much power use (external PSU for the gfx card), no hardware T&L, only 16bit colors... also not a single chip architecture and SLI had its own issues.
It's amazing how fast 3DFX fell. In just a few years, the gold standard of gaming went from dual voodoo2s in SLI mode to the Geforce series of cards. As a lifetime gamer, I hope that some of the innovations from the competition triggered by this mad race to scale AI computing will someday transfer back into consumer graphics cards.
My lac bags are quite heavy, still sitting at 4.60 cost basis. Finally reached green on SLI though! No idea what I'm doing
Any opinions on SLI? I am a big believer after researching the technology (and xom is buying land next door too)
May be a driver but my other lithium stocks(SLI, PLL) are not up nearly as much so it seems like Something else is happening that I don’t know about…..
What been happening with $SLI (standard lithium), do i just sell it? Is there hope for it to go up?
My buy at 2.31 on SLI early last week has been great. Broke $3 AH Friday. I haven't seen a red day yet. Been going up steady everyday by nice chunks.
SLI is going to break $3 soon.
Same SLI appears that 2.34 is historical price rejection on the weekly.
Ran the same prompt, it suggested me Nokia (NOK), standard lithium (SLI), and Mereo BioPharma (MREO) 🤷🏻
Not stock advise but just some info. SLI and Equinor are in joint venture to build plant in SW Arkansas to process lithium. XOM is also involved and leasing mineral rights. Land has been cleared but no construction at this time. Google Lafayette county lithium or southwest Arkansas lithium.
Does anyone know anything about SLI?
Anyone else holding SLI? I'm up 65% not sure if I want to sell yet.
SLI. Have been holding for a long time. Big news on the Arkansas project coming on May 28th I believe. Basically the finalization of the contract deciding the royalty payment. This is a lithium mining company by the way.
(Not investment advice) It is too risky because it's completely reliant on US tech companies. Sure, that has been a major growth driver over the last 10 years, and this portfolio would have done fantastically over that period, but if you're looking for a nine year horizon it's way, way too risky to put all your eggs in one basket. I just checked QQQ and SPY for up to date numbers and a grand total of **87.5% of your portfolio is US tech (incl ETFs)**. Presumably that is also in USD. I guess you are American so that's not too big of an issue but it would be worth diversifying with a bit of foreign currency as well. I don't want to tell you what to do, but I would - when the moment is right for you - downsize some of those individual tech stocks and purchase a couple of ETFs to give you exposure to other markets. I think if you got the tech portion of your portfolio down to 50% then it would be a lot better. Some possible diversification could include: * **LYBK (EURO STOXX Banks EUR - ACC):** this is basically exposure to the European banking system, which is probably going to benefit you since fiscal policy is much more secure in the medium term in Europe vs other places. This is also a growth area with a lot of dividend paying stocks. It is up 45.5% in the last year and 383.99% in the last five years. * **VMID (FTSE 250 GBP - DIST):** this gives you exposure to British mid-caps, which have underperformed in recent years due to political instability, but the UK has 3.5-4 years of stable government ahead and is starting to grow well (2025 Q1: 0.7%+). The pound will benefit from Labour's "Securonomics" fiscal policy that will reduce debt risk. It is up 3.07% in the last year and 35.79% the last five years. * **LCUJ (MSCI Core Japan JPY - ACC)**: with this one you're getting 500 Japanese companies across a diverse range of industries. It is in Japanese Yen which is very weak, and is probably due to cycle stronger in the medium term. That means that it could grow quite a lot even if the companies aren't performing great if you're a USD investor. It is up 6.13% in the last year and 51.74% in the last five years. * **DXS0 (SLI CHF - DIST)**: on this one you get a really nice stable, defensive position. Swiss Franc generally gets stronger in times of unrest. Typically for me this one is low growth but rarely gives me scary swings and is a nice backup to have a small chunk of my portfolio in. It is full of big name Swiss companies that pay decent dividends. It is up 10.59% in the last year and 65.44% in the last five years. But please do your own research, I just think the message is that you need to have even a nice bit of your portfolio that isn't at the whims of some random AI startup in China going global or - god forbid - China moving on Taiwan.
Got into NITO @ .45 out @ .50 thats my last day trade for the week, Holding Bags for DGLY @ .06 LGMK @ .03 and SLI @ 1.85 Hoping to see some good news with these next week. Gonna dig in and hope for a catalyst. Over all this week I'm up 8% so I can't complain. Gonna aim for up 10% next week. Had some awesome people from here and other places show me some tools that have really been helping me get a better grasp on things.
I'm holding some small bags for BON, LGMK, SLI, and BBAI. I'm also keeping an eye on DGLY. I made 30% of that little spike they had and am thinking on buying back in Monday if it looks ok. Really hoping BBAI can hit $4, that's where I want to get out. Seems like it wasn't as good a play as WOLF would have been but que sera.
Anyone in SLI? Hearing good things and it's been steadily rising recently
As far as Lithium refining goes check out American Battery Technology (ABAT) they are a great example of American ingenuity improving lithium refining. There are others too like Standard Lithium (SLI) for example. It’s the rare earths where we are behind but money could accelerates the process. Oh, and down with trump.
Too lazy to make a thread for this but $SLI, a lithium brining company is a great buy at this price. One of their projects has been prioritized by the Trump admin, and they just got another project approved.
Anyone looking at $SLI after announcement by Trump Administration with special designation due to rare earth minerals?
I held SLI for a smidge a while back. Ultimately I sold because lithium process are very low and likely to stay that way for a few years
Damn, I was awake when the AH started, at that moment SLI looks pretty normal, also after about 30 minutes into AH, I went to sleep. LOL
Wow SLI is finally moving. I held that stock for a bit last year, but consolidated to fewer plays for my funny money when the market got rough. Good for them. I knew they had it in them, despite low lithium prices
any1 know anything about SLI
Just a little heads up for SLI, one of their projects has been designated as a priority transparency critical mineral project under an Executive Order: [https://www.stocktitan.net/news/SLI/smackover-lithium-s-south-west-arkansas-project-receives-special-dd3ybh5xy3s7.html](https://www.stocktitan.net/news/SLI/smackover-lithium-s-south-west-arkansas-project-receives-special-dd3ybh5xy3s7.html) Really high float but I've been in since 1.56 and it's been steadily going up as the volume's been increasing, NFA.
Not a speech pathologist, but it could be a symptom of SLI (Specific Language Impairment). But it seems he used to be more well-spoken in older interviews. So just plain old dementia, probably, if you'll allow some armchair diagnostic. Tl dr: he's regarded
SLI, but the change in government could mess that up. It's better for a 5 to 8 year play. BCE is a blue chip, relatively safe. They are expanding to the US, so they have room to grow. The focus on fibre internet is mostly recession proof. I think they can double in 2-4 years if you use DRIP (dividend reinvestment); their current dividend is over 10% ! Make lots of money my friend.
Been in SLI and pulled out with $100 profit. Found out the CEO has been involved in pump and dumps before. After checking that went with LAC.
Rxrx and SLI have betrayed me, penny stocks never works for me.
The penny stocks I’m in KULR, ELTP, SLI, and AKBA. That’s just in my play around account. My 401K and Roth are VTI, FXAIX, and a few other funds with smaller % total of my portfolios.
LAC is a yes, their sister company LAAC in Argentina is a bigger yes, SLI is a no. Biggest risk for LAC is a corrupt Trump administration. GM has a big stake in Thacker Pass development which is going to put it squarely in Elon’s crosshairs. I don’t know if they can legally stop the DoE loan but when has legality stopped them before? LAAC has started production on new low cost assets will be ready to ramp up when conditions improve. Also has potential tailwinds from a Trump friendly Argentinian government that is looking to expand trade partnerships with the US. SLI is developing unproven technology with a leadership team that has a history of pump and dumps on vaporware. I would stay away. It’s hard to know where a Trump admin will land on lithium. In theory he should want to take on China head on for their dumping and price manipulation, but who can fucking tell with him.
$SLI amazing lithium news this morning.
SLI looks like a good buy
$SLI ohh we so back lithium
Anyone that loves to play commodity stocks, specifically Lithium should really check out the macro prices per ton and the supply shift happening around the globe. Huge bull cycle coming like back in 2020... top picks are $SLI & $LAC
$SLI - Lithium is hot hot
$SLI has a DOE grant for 225m from Arkansas Government. Massive reports all over google about lithium reserves in Arkansas yesterday and today.
I started trading options recently too and thought about this and i couldn’t find anything under intrinsic value. My thought process was that the whales who write these options sometimes cant always rolling up or exercise and we can cash them. I guess you got really lucky finding them. You SLI but its jo where trading around 10$ maybe u meant SoFi?
I’d imagine it was showing the option was trading for less than intrinsic value due to to the bid-ask spread being large, SLI is a low priced security and options are fairly illiquid with the ticker meaning you will see some crazy prices generate on options due to it showing the mid price, but getting filled below the intrinsic value is essentially impossible because the other person would just exercise as well
I made a fear-greed index of common lithium stocks --> [https://ibb.co/3p4Hk0Z](https://ibb.co/3p4Hk0Z) They started to flourish post covid. The past few months June, July, August no one hardly ever considered investing in them. So much fear, so many articles why lithium is a bad buy. All of the sudden because of some lithium deals people want to get into the sector, lithium stocks are rising, people discuss them, making posts. Although they are down if you zoom out, the entire sector in its current form is greedy and saturated If you'd ask me, now is a bad time to buy into lithium. 3-5 months ago i would have commented "go for it" the probability to gain percentages vs the the risk to loose money is on the gain side. ['SLI', 'SGML', 'LAC', 'PLL', 'FREY', 'LAAC', 'AMLI', 'ATLX']
Same, IR on my watchlist. Infinite Reality recently became a major stakeholder in Super League Enterprise ($SLI on Nasdaq) , could be a reverse merger/takeover , who knows, perhaps the easiest and cheapest way to list on Nasdaq?, I bought some $SLI just in case!😀
SLI is looking bearish and has momentum
I'm riding another lithium stock SLI with promising signs
ELBM. The USA Dept of Defense just invested $20million into them. So they are going places. SLI. They take lithium out of tracking sludge after the oil companies take the oil out of it. Based in Vancouver and growing. Debt free. Price dropped as price of lithium dropped. Recently they were able to make the lithium battery grade for EVs. ETL. Does some thing as SLI but received investment of $3.5 mill from gov of Canada and $5 mill from Gov of Alberta along with investment from Imperial Oil (the founders are ex Imperial employees).
