SSRM is one I've been holding for a couple of years now. Bought right after the accident and rode the recovery up. Just opened a small position in DNN as well for uranium.
In my opinion the market has not yet fully valued $HOOD after they have entered the prediction market. Earnings is Nov 5th, while it has jumped up today, it still has not hit its ATH it was at a few weeks ago. If earnings go exceptionally well I think this stock could see growth through the end of the year. You just need to identify a good entry point that you are comfortable with. Another one a lot of analysts are talking about especially after the gold has taken a small hit the last couple of days is $SSRM. They are one of the leaders in gold mining and if you are bullish on gold, this would be a good one to own. There also crypto if that is your thing. $BMNR or $ETHA for ethereum $IBIT or $CIFR for bitcoin. NFA -- DYOR
GME because the options print money. CODI because the trouble they are in isn't going to be bad enough to keep them under $10. SSRM because we're going to have massive instability till 2028 at least. Even if we're topped out now, current gold/silver prices should be enough to almost double their earnings plus they should have two more major projects producing within the next year and a half.
SSRM pissing me off today
Hope you kept that SSRM.
Dammit SSRM you’re going the wrong way
There are ton's of stocks that do well that nobody talks about. Look at CLS. I got in SSRM at 4 but sold to early at 12.
LEAPS!! long expiration contracts on out of the money! Believe me or don’t I don’t care 😂 it changed my life! Cgnx, APA, SSRM, also! SPY expiring after the fed (cut) meeting this month!
I like SSRM to climb to 12.50 by EOD, at a minimum.
I did the same with my retirement accounts. Before I reached the same conclusion as OP regarding the dollar I never thought I'd invest in anything related to gold. Now I've got a position in a miner I think is undervalued. (SSRM). I think that as central banks start buying fewer treasuries gold will be one of the things they diversify into.
SSRM needs to get its shit together today
I think SSRM climbs back to 13 before close. Looking to get a nice 2% gain here.
I like SSRM to bounce back to 12.5 from here. Mining company. ⛏️
SSRM a gold mining company that just acquired a couple new mines and has another mine in Turkey about ready to reopen, has been a winner for me. I bought in at $5-6 per share 6mos ago, and it’s been rising steadily at $11.84 today, and should get back up to $25/share like it was before the accident at the Copler mine in Turkey. Plus with gold copper and silver prices increasing rapidly their stock will rise with it. They have a lot of available cash, revenue is up, and hopefully they will reinstate their dividends soon. This stock has been very good to me and I think it’s overlooked by most.
Costco gold is usually 24-48 hour price delay. You can go I'm now and get it for 40-80 below current price. Use credit card for cash back, saving another 60. Using executive membership saving another 60. So all in all if you buy today and hold for 4 years you're good. In the meantime I recommend miners like AG, SSRM, and GDXJ
GDXJ is up 13% so far this year and SSRM is up 45% YTD? AG is finally waking up. This is a nice dip to support before the rip. Supply chain bottlenecking is returning which will drive all these prices back up.
Yeah im buying it for my stock portfolio. I was pretty sure it would be a good bet with silver and gold for options but nope. It's just doing nothing. Even when everyone is calling for recession and rate cuts. Still nothing. 2 $5.5, 30Aug might get me a cheese burger or two. I was hoping for more for my SSRM $6 and $5 calls today. Nope. They probably will expire worthless this Friday.
SSRM go brr more please.
SSRM - even if all goes to shit on there copler mine they still have a stock value of $20/share
SSRM is a good one too, but not really a penny. Had a recent tragedy but that is the only reason the stock went down and it had been recovering. CISS also.
I personally like SSRM for a longer term bet on their recovering from their mining accident in Turkey. I thought they were undervalued before the accident already at $10 (around $2B market cap, less than their their NAV), I estimated their fair value around $2.5B. Then their price dropped by 50% and I bought in, but it's definitely not a short term thing, it will take 2-3y minimum for the operations and licensing in Turkey to recover (if they do).
Waiting for reload on SSRM. Resistance @ 4.85
Sold 1/2 of positions as most over 40-60% putting in gold dividend stocks and will continue to sell while market stays prompt up for elections then hold long term few but mostly gold stocks that have been beaten with patience gold will shine being said biggest layoffs 2022 2023 banks collapsing worse then 2008 inflation not coming down I see rotating to metals and energy stocks B2gold GOLD SSRM DNA so many more opportunities gives dividends and on the lows accumulate collect and wait 👍
I am going to fuck your mom and hold SSRM
SSRM Thank me later nfa
The biggest loser was SSRM that just shit itself when some miners got caught in a landslide and they closed the mine. The other loss is a bio tech meme I tried.
If you ever think your own stock picks are disheartening, just look at whatever biotech has collapsed recently (rip NVTA). Heck, I owned shares of SSRM and was lucky to be able to sell around the open at $7 on Tuesday. Sometimes things just don't work out as planned. Disasters/misses/failures happen, and your success depends on how you react to those unexpected outcomes.
SSRM is an intriguing play, pretty brutal situation though imagine getting buried in a landslide
Anyone following SSR mining Following the mine collapse yesterday? SSRM
Loading up on $SSRM gold mining company tanked 50% plus on a landslide incident
SSRM
\#SSRM get in while it is on this dip
SSRM what happened
Anybody hopping into #SSRM today? They hit a 52 week low following their closure in turkey
yes I can handle that :) I think it will pay off nicely for you eventually. I went for GOLD and SSRM.
I had similar thoughts a couple years ago, however there really aren't too many "direct" investments in African countries - aside from international ETFs like IXUS/VXUS. Ultimately the closest Ive seen is investments are precious materials ETFs or individual mining stocks that mine in Africa like $NEM for example. In my taxable portfolio I'm about 20% IXUS and about 5% in misc stocks that include $NEM, $SSRM, $PAAS, and $WPM- most of which have mining operations in Africa. Of course do your homework prior to investing in cyclical plays such as precious metals. I bought these during the recent downturns and pullbacks and I really don't plan on buying much more (aside from dividend reinvestments- these actually have good dividend yields).

I'd rather be in a miner that is keeping the cash flow, TBH. There is massive consolidation still to take place in this space... *particularly* the gold miners. AUY and GFI are merging, Kinross would be another possible acquisition, but also, maybe Hecla. A *lot* of these mining execs are seriously overpaid, and you don't need this many miners with this many execs in this space. It just don't make any sense. I'm also trying to actively avoid any with geopolitical risk, which limits you to a smaller universe of European and North American miners. SSRM is attractive, but until this mine in Turkey is fully operational, I'm avoiding.
Wheaton Precious Metals ($WPM), Newmont ($NEM) and SSR Mining ($SSRM) have done okay over the past 5 years, but not so much over 10. The iShares MSCI Global Metals & Mining Producers ETF ($PICK) has had similar results.
Positions: WEAT 13C 3/18 SSRM 22C 4/14 CVX 190C 5/20 MARA 20P 5/20 I will sleep soundly and wake up to the biggest green boner. Assuming the nukes don't drop and I get to wake up.
Hang Seng down 5%, don't think this is a 'green by open' kind of night, gents. My WEAT/CVX/SSRM calls and MARA puts about to ppppprint
SILV, Discovery Silver, Fortuna Silver, Kinros Gold, EQX, EGO, SSRM, Chesapeake Gold. DNN, UEX, UEC, LAM, URG, Fission, Goviex
Look at Paulson & Co and see what he owns/buys. Paulson is a long-time gold bug and has way more information that we do. Of the gold stocks he owns, I am in SSRM, PPTA (look at their deal with the battery manufacturer for antimony supply), and IAG.
I play with GOLD and SSRM. When they go down I buy
> All i did was make an objective statement about the underlying not being red for 2 weeks and the fanbois came at me. No you said this: > Imagine betting against a guy who also developed reusable orbital rockets. So we corrected your misinformation. > He made a car company and reusable SSRM's. big whoop Lmfao if it's so easy, why didn't YOU do it? Why aren't you the world most innovative CEO with the most net worth? See, it's easy to talk but it's entirely different to walk the walk.
> To earn WSB's respect you need to actually have merits. ??????????????????? > who are not easily impressed more projecting of your fantasy land bullshit >Don't really get your position to hate on someone who have accomplished so much more than you tbh. All i did was make an objective statement about the underlying not being red for 2 weeks and the fanbois came at me. He made a car company and reusable SSRM's. big whoop
leave it to the TSLA fan boy to incorrectly add buzzwords to a reusable SSRM lmao
PPTA, GOLD, SA, SSRM, IAG, NG, IAG. The small caps will likely be acquired due to industry consolidation.
But personally I am long GOLD, PPTA, THM, SSRM, IAG, and XOM, among other energy majors. But I am short CEI
Silver (like SSRM) and gold stocks died too. Surprised; thought they hedged against the high inflation
GOLD and SSRM (silver) plummeting. did not exxpect that.. why...
Hi, I inherited a stock portfolio but want to get rid of 90% of it because I think the portfolio is outdated and would like to gradually re-invest most of it into ETF’s. I would like to keep a smaller part of my portfolio in individual stocks to keep me busy. Any advice on good sell opportunities and stocks I should continue to hold is more than welcome! I personally think I should definitely get rid of the palm oil and rubber stocks (AEP, SFNS and SOCF) as they almost make up one third of my portfolio… ACCB:BB (Accentis NV): 0.6% AEP:LN (Anglo-Eastern Plantations): 6.1% AKER:NO (Aker ASA): 20.7% GBLB:BB (Groupe Bruxelles Lambert): 21.2% IEP:BB (IEP Invest): 0.6% JM:SP (Jardine Matheson Holdings): 9.6% SFNS:LN (Socfinasia SA): 4.7% SOCF:LN (Socfinaf): 20.3% SOLB:BB (Solvay SA): 4.6% SSRM:US (SSR Mining Inc): 8.9% YRI:CN (Yamana Gold Inc): 2.5%
" 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' says epic crash is coming and to buy bitcoin gold and silver" omgosh I'm already ahead of that I got puts and GOLD and SSRM
been buying it up for a week now, same with SSRM. some calls 6-12 months off, but mostly shares. shares can't lose I don't think, can't go wrong
Buy KL and SSRM. You should also own some physical. Buy at least 1 OZ of physical gold. Have that on hand.
nice to see I'm the only one who noticed the gold dip this week I bought up SSRM and GLD
FNV, SSRM and AG are some of the best precious metal miners. Also worth a look.
cashed in some tech calls, and added some boomer drops, like C SSRM and LUV. More safety in diversification, feels g00d
SSRM fits your criteria perfectly I believe
In on CDE, SSRM, Ag,and of course PSLV.
In general. Tech all red and bloody, while boomer is green, e.g. M +4%, SSRM +5%, or at least +1% which is better than red
Punching air for not buying miners. Every single one on my watchlist is up bigly. SSRM, JNUG, SBSW, KGC. GUH
Would it make sense to buy silver now (e.g. SSRM) or is it priced in already
SSRM is good if you want to buy a gold and platinum miner
also have a few miners in my portfolio too, SSRM way undervalued. and a couple of explorers because i like to live a little risky.
Wait so you guys weren’t serious when you said SSRM $25c 4/16..? Shit.
Full disclosure, I've read dozens of articles and watched many a youtube video, including this one which was very, very helpful[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PM4rNDr4oI&t=2493s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PM4rNDr4oI&t=2493s) But I'm still an infant learning to crawl. I recently bought 3 apple calls, an SSRM call and an AMC put. I consider these low cost/lower risk starter options so I can learn the hard way without losing my ass. This is money I'm prepared to lose, but would prefer to make money on. I guess my question is when do I close? I'm learning the greeks, but still new to them. Do you guys typically set a % target and then sell regardless of how much time is left? For example SSRM is at 20% but expires on 6/18. One of the apples is at 13% but closes on 3/19. I do sort of understand and expect it depends on how bullish you are. I'm not trying to be a WSB retard, I'm probably too conservative to do that. I'm fully expecting mixed answers here but I appreciate any logic/reason behind them. I also wouldn't mind being redirected to a resource to learn more on my own.
HAHAHAHA> all this talk of SSR yesterday and this morning $SSRM popped off for no reason. Those WSB analyzing bots hard at work!!!
I’m going to be honest I assumed you were one of those people trying to pump SSRM who kept using SSR as the ticker name, apologizes m8.
There’s no such thing as SSR, you mean $SSRM?
should we expect $SSRM SSR Mining to see a random jump?
I bought a cheap SSRM option just to see if the the mentions somehow bump up the price 🤣
Just checked, you're right, on the Australian stock exchange... And it's the same company as SSRM... Why would they suddenlly want to pump this stock, at the same time people keep talking about SSR (short sale restriction)? It's just a coincidence both happened at the same time and people are telling others to sell GME for that? And they're using the Australian ticker on a stock exchange most people can't buy from? Yeah...
Thing is, SSR isn't the right ticker, it's SSRM, they would use the right ticker to promote it if it was the case.
Does $SSRM have something good going for it or did it just get pumped because people thought it was that nonexistent $SSR ticker that was being spammed?
Basically. In this case it actually worked still because a ticker with SSRM actually went up a bit lol.
I thought it was long $SSRM but I guess I $CUM to the wrong megathread, lost my shorts.
I love the $SSRM ... Helps me lose my shorts, so people can see my $ASS. $PLZ dont $CUM.
Real talk, isn't SSRM a gold mining ticker with pretty good fundamentals?
I bought SSRM yesterday, up 1.3%
Watch SSR mining. It will go up. LOL [https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/SSRM?p=SSRM&.tsrc=fin-srch](https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/SSRM?p=SSRM&.tsrc=fin-srch) CUM is traded in Europe and it was up yesterday
Got 100 shares of $SSRM, where the fuck is $SSR?
Bought some SSRM eod. Thanks fam
