BTC could retouch 40-60k in June 2024 to October 2024 (earliest BTP, 6 months post-halving) Possibility of high volatility leading up to elections in November 2024 Note market sentiment post-election and post-presidential inauguration February 2025 marks important dates (latest BTP), > higher than average chance BTC could peak if it hasn't by then. A series of presidential decrees and announcements, peace in Ukraine, rate hike reversals starting in 2025 could lead to positive market sentiment. Anyone here still into Icon? I’m curious to know how things are going with their BTP (Blockchain Transmission Protocol) developments. Any chains aside from ICE been integrated?

Partly true, ICON's BTP is complete generalizable due to its use of BTP blocks (cryptographic hashing algorithms that are supported by the smart contract environments of their respective destination chains). For example, BTP blocks with Ethereum as the target network will use the Keccak hashing algorithm since that is what is supported by EVM. Without BTP blocks, ICON would need destination chains to support the SHA3-256 hashing algorithm in their smart contract environments to verify ICON blocks with reasonable gas costs. This often requires a hard fork of the destination chain. I recommend reading the [BTP litepaper](https://icon.community/assets/btp-litepaper.pdf), it is one of the most impressive engineering feats I've come across in blockchain. It's being slept on hard.
This is why fully on-chain bridging is the only acceptable solution going forward. Anyone who hasn't checked [ICON's BTP](https://icon.community/learn/btp/) (connecting Polkadot, Ethereum, Binance Smartchain, Harmony) and [COSMOS IBC](https://blog.cosmos.network/ibc-update-the-internet-of-blockchains-is-growing-fast-dae883228ebf) should ASAP. If Harmony had been using on-chain light clients this absolutely would not have happened.
ICX is a significant beter project than SOL. 10/10 would recommend evryonenhere to check out the BTP interoprability they are currently achieving.
ICX - icon bridge is launched and BTP is around the corner. This interoperability beast will shine! ONE - already partnering with ICX in the Alice in Wonderland inspired NFT game: Wonder Game! JUNO - a lot of building is happening, also projects from Terra coming over ETH - you need a ‘safe’ coin, right?! GM - Ghostmarket! A wonderful interoperable NFT marketplace, this is truly a gem. Blockchains available are: ETH, NEO, Polygon, Avalanche, Phantasma and BSC! How about that!
I like ICON $ICX and their defi. The best UI and extremely low fees make for a very user friendly experience. Hoping that BTP brings big interoperability to their chain and along with some big volume.
