I was literally born in Yugoslavia. The issues that country had, had nothing with the monetary system, or currencies in use, or inflation itself (and especially nothing that crypto would solve on its own). The economy wasn't working well for about 10 years, it went through breakup and war, and sanctions against the now smaller FR Yugoslavia. The entire crisis had nothing to do with currency, rather than shit governments and shit economic system. The rest of the countries you list are all examples from like a 100 years ago, or third world countries. And that wasn't the question I asked. I asked to show me an example of a stable economy going through hyperinflation in recent history. If your hypothesis is correct - that fiat currency inherently has to result in hyperinflation (assuming even in stable economies with democratic governments) - can you show me one example when THAT happened?

I honestly don’t know how the stock market keeps rebounding so quickly. The US Government and the FR are literally saying the dollar is F’ed and yet people just act like they’re bluffing or something lol. Crypto is struggling right now because many people didn’t expect a 50% correction to occur within a couple months of its ATH. People saw how easily the market reacted to pointless FUD and outsiders have now put this thought in their heads that crypto investors are emotional dimwits that are looking for a get-rich-quick scheme. I honestly don’t know how crypto repairs it’s image going forward, but it’s going to take something pretty spectacular to get the bulls running again.
