I generally go pretty in depth. Stellar for instance reminded me of space, and the moon is in space so I bought some. Terra Luna, terra is earth, Luna is moon, I mean come on, that had buy written all over it. You simply cannot go to the moon without terra and luna! One, well there can be only one... buy. Etherium sounded spacey so gobbled up some of that. Mana means strong or powerful in Maori, so that was an easy buy. Bitcoin, that was harder, I didn't like the name much, bit I figured you can't do crypto without at least some of the bitcoin stash, so that's in there. Dent, sort of like Kent but with a D. Superman name is Kent, so that one was snaffled up. I didn't want Doge, but I saw there was a vet and figured all the doge people would need a vet, so I got me some vet. OM Sounded peaceful and it has a market cap of 888888888 ... can't lose, bought some. NBS has the same initials as our national broadcast service ... what a great cause, bought a bag. ADA has a really nice ring to it ... got me some. Loom sounded like something to do with knitting, and knitting sounds peaceful for people who do that, so yeah buy buy buy. Lastly ripple ... a ripple in the water, sounds like a cool lakeside experience, got that one too. So tell me if you think I'm joking !

Love the info, thanks for the depth of response. I was hoping there'd be the single asset on the platform so I'll make a judgment call for staking vs NBS once the platform opens to the public. If they can even deliver on half their claims it'll be a great success. My only worry is the client side software that needs to run and how many people are going to attempt to tamper with that and degrade trust in the broker system - even with the risk of being stripped of collateral assets.

They have an update announced this month and they recently just signed a contract with a major Chinese insurance company, which will enable big holders in China to get a year worth of health insurance for a modest 1 NBS. It might also be worth mentioning that Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, is one of the NBS team members. With the biggest economy in the world(China) getting gradually involved in crypto, I see NBS only going up mid to long term. Streamr DATA: Another great project I believe in and might be a good hold for any term in case market won't consolidate largely. It is essentially trying to establish data marketing in an ethical way, assuring web companies, which collect and trade user data, not to stumble in any legal troubles in the future. They have some big updates coming up this year and are also planing to implement staking system. With low supply and low price, my conservative prediction is 600% gains at the end of this bull cycle. But as I said, it is also good for short term with the current upwards momentum. I am right now 20% up since yesterday and it won't stop soon. Hi! First of all you should diversify your money in several coins to minimize the risk of losing it. I suggest you that you do a research on which coins haven't pumped a lot yet this year and have strong projects backing them up. My personal picks are HBAR, NBS, (Streamr) DATA and BAL. Do your own research and invest wisely. Below I am pasting my comment on another thread, where I explain my first three picks in detail. It might help you decide. HBAR: I predict it will go to 1 dollar in the next month if there will be no huge bitcoin correction. It's a great project and will continue to rise due to many updates coming out this month. Some predict it will go to 4 dollars in this bull run, but in my opinion 1 dollar is very achievable short to mid-term. I don't think anyone can predict which coin will "moon" next week, but when I tried to day trade crypto I learned a lesson that it is much more profitable to just hold it and sell when you are ok with the profits. For example, I am already almost 200% up with HBAR in just a month. My personal choice: HBAR(Hedera Hashgraph): I would actually put 200 usd in this one, since the project is great and I believe it can really get much higher than the current price(despite being at the ATH) NBS(New BitShares): Recently started rising, the price is still fairly low and the supply is small(almost 15-times smaller than ADA) and there are some announcements from the team about huge update in the end of march/beginning of april. I see it as the next CHZ, so if you missed the CHZ train, make sure to invest something in NBS. The trading volume also increased in the past 3 days by 1600%. At the time of writing its price is at 0.031 and I don't really see it going lower than that anytime soon. It also recently started collaborating with Chinese insurance company and it enables its Chinese holders to get a year worth of healthcare insurance for a modest price of 1 NBS. BAL(Balancer): Google Balancer v2. It's coming in the end of the month and price hasn't really changed much yet. Due to low supply it's expected to boom. CTK(CertiK): It's providing security protocols to many DeFi and NFTs including BNB. I see it going to 5-6.5 usd in near future(maybe a month). I would also consider buying OG(OG fan token) but at a lower price. Its supply is extremy low and has real life application but I don't see it going more than 200% up in this year. I would buy in 4-6 usd area. Note that I didn't mention ADA, because I believe this train already left. The above mentioned coins are all going to make you 200%+ profits before summer in my opinion, which ADA will not.
According to alanmasters, one of the most reputable traders on TradeView, NBS is set to go 300% up. He had some really nice calls recently for COTI, ZRX, ADA, ENJ, CHZ, HBAR... back in january, so it might be a good idea to check out his predictions. I personally chose to invest 10% of my portfolio in NBS, since he called it last week and again two days ago and it hasn't really been pumped yet. Also, the project seems legit, supply is not too high(almost 15 times lower than ADA's supply) and market cap is pretty low(60m usd). What concerns me is lack of volume and updates regarding this project. But at the same time, low volume provides me with assurance that price will remain stable if nothing changes and will only go up if volume increases.
