Could you please further elucidate? I, too, have lost my funds, however this I made 6 figures on there, and they refuse to give it back for the very same reason. Obviously, I didn't do anything nefarious - in fact, I'm so controlling that I actually literally OBS recorded every single trading session (and using the PC in between), yet they still refuse. Could you explain if you only reported them -- or did you actually let them know you reported them, too? And no, I'm not at all rich - by sheer luck a coin I was profiting on suddenly exploded 50x in value, which I'm sure is why they refuse to pay it out as a B-booking trading company that likely purchases the funds only when the customer withdraws. Frankly, it's such a big sum of money that I never really felt like I had any hope of convincing them when they could just steal it instead - but reading that you did actually have a good outcome, gives me a glimmer of hope suddenly. Cheers, thanks in advance and I'm glad you've got made whole :)

I had the same reaction, I thought I was very proficient with OBS before this but when I found out you can feed Python scripts through it to control EVERY SINGLE THING in OBS automatically it blew my mind. Especially when I first ran the script.

Wow I am not aware OBS can do that! This is mindblowing!

Safe bets? BTC & ETH. But if you want real gains, you gotta take risks. I’ve been looking at Obsidian (OBS)—saw it on Crypto Dapp, and it’s still flying under the radar. Could be a 10x or more if things go right. Obviously, high risk, but hey, no risk, no reward. Anyone else looking at new DeFi projects?

Citrix used to be on the i7, but has never been on the 7950x. The 7950x is a very clean box for back end crunching, and the only odd thing on it is OBS because I also used it for a studio workstation. Let me see if OBS is on both machines, and if so, kill it off the i7.

no i don't made an assumption that there was a filed called "extra nonce" i made an assumption that the "real nonce" is something objective it has an answer just as if it was in a field (even if it isn't) but i don't know how it is called in precise terms or how it is extracted but it has to be somewhere it can be a substring inside a coinbase transaction or that can change the merkle root, but it has an exact answer my only assumption is that it is objective. you said to me "The answer is that some substring of these 82 bytes contains the extranonce random bits" - so even you know that what i said is objective but you seem to don't know the exact answer "Perhaps you're clueless about these things, and you're afraid to admit it ..." - im not afraid to admit that i am clueless, im here exactly because i have doubts and i don't understand what is going on. I am just not passive about that, i prefer the risk of saying something dumb or dense than say "ok" even if i didn't grasp all the concepts. i believe that your need to try to belittle me is because you are frustrated that you can't get your point across, at least you are engaged to answer me so i am thankful because your answer is helping me maybe if you can extract that information somehow or clarify what is wrong with what i think you can help yourself to understand better (and i hope you share it with me) OBS: i am not lazy, i am using the new information provided in this topic to learn more until i get the answer that i am searching i'm sayin that because "please give me the answer" all the time can sound like i am not looking into stuff, but i really am hahaha **TL;DR:** i'm not afraid i asked exactly because i am clueless but in the end your answer helped me a little so i guess it's ok ill ignore your offense

As someone that provides one-on-one help for people with less than stellar computer skills, it's crazy to think one of the most curious people I've worked with, who exceeds my expectations on the regular, is pushing 93 years old. With the younger gen, I try to grab them where their interests might be. So if they are into Twitch and YouTube, I'll encourage them to delve into things like OBS (open Broadcast software), video editing tools, or other things that will basically force them to get in the habit of self teaching and troubleshooting. I still get shit for constantly sending friends LMGTFY links a decade ago when they start asking basic questions there is no real reason not to pursue their own immediate research and answers from.

It's risks either way, but I saw a Twitter thread of a guy who tried downloading a program used for streamers called OBS. Clicked the first option that came up on Google but it was a malicious ad and that was it. Millions lost. If I were OP I would transfer to Kraken which are based in the US (*fully regulated*) with proof of reserves. Then order a hardware wallet rn with Amazon prime (from official ledger seller) Or just buy a hardware wallet from best buy like I saw on this subreddit a few days ago and transfer it straight away.

tldr; Crypto investor NFT God, owner of the Bored Ape NFT, has had all their cryptocurrency and other digital assets stolen after clicking a sponsored download link on Google for popular streaming app OBS. "I lost a life changing amount of my net worth," he wrote in a thread on his Twitter account. "There's only one way to guarantee growth: Discomfort," he added. *This summary is auto generated by a bot and not meant to replace reading the original article. As always, DYOR.*

For the lazy; > It all started when the popular NFT influencer went to download OBS onto their personal desktop computer. They ended up clicking on a sponsored advertisement instead of its official website. It was only after attackers posted phishing tweets on both of their Twitter accounts that NFT God realized malware was at play. In a series of tweets, the user said that both personal and professional accounts – Twitter, Substack, Gmail, Discord, and wallets – were hacked, which resulted in losing a “life-changing amount” of their net worth. The attackers even sent phishing emails to thousands of his subscribers on Substack account. > According to blockchain data, at least 19 ETH, along with several other NFTs, including one Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), were stolen by the attackers from this wallet. Most Ether funds were transferred to multiple wallets before moving to a decentralized exchange called FixedFloat and getting swapped for various digital assets.

> Earlier in the day, NFT God, whose real name is Alex, downloaded the video streaming service OBS. However, he used a sponsored link on Google that contained malware-infected software. This amazes me every time. These links are clearly labeled as ads and the URLs are always something super stupid and fake looking. People are getting worse and worse at using computers as time goes on. You'd think that someone whose a live streamer and crypto head would be tech competent but I guess not. Not to mention that if they stole his crypto using this then it means he had his crypto wallet on his normal, everyday computer... which is another horrible horrible idea. It's money. You gotta take it seriously.

Supposedly, he did setup a ledger but in his words he setup a hot wallet instead of cold wallet, which was how his funds/nft were drained when he installed the malware infected OBS download from a Google ad.

He downloaded an unofficial copy of OBS software. Evidently they modified it to contain remote access code.

So the lesson I take from this is to isolate your keys and credentials on a separate device. OBS is an open-source screen capture software used by Youtube and Twitch streamers. Presumably the bad actor(s) altered the source code with remote access capabilities, and then hosted the compiled binaries on their bogus website.

The answer; YES. Warren Buffet just held the 67483th Berkshire Shareholder's annual meeting and said something very interesting: He and Charlie haver never made a big decision based on what the market is doing. They have sold into hot markets but have long even stopped doing that. They acquire companies on fundamentals and just hold on to them because they are great companies. This translates into crypto in a similar way. Market forecasting is a fool's errand. If you DCA into coins you believe have true utility and hodl, don’t change your strategy. OBS: It does look like someone was just trying to kill Terra and humble Do Kwon, though.

probably a way to back through the blockchain explorer perhaps and see, or I did record some of it happening live with OBS Studio but it doesn't just happen all in one big sell order it's usually like a gigantic flood of like 50-100 sell orders of various amounts all at once... it's kinda crazy to watch

I got OBS studio recording the action on one monitor, was going to set it off hours ago but this literally happened as I was considering going to sleep holy yep bought the dip at £35300 gbp, whatever it converts to USD. I did my weekly DCA back at £42730 around 15 hours earlier ouch but I just bought the dip for much more coins. Not gone all in though in case it keeps going down, if not it's fine I moved the fiat across ready

Depending on the money printer etc. I think it will reach over $50,000,000 per BTC. This is if on average every person have around $1000 worth of BTC each and there will be under 13,000,000 BTC in circulation. Having just around 0,01BTC will be considered a big achievement! OBS: By then USD will be devauled a whole lot!
