Lmao you’re confusing Keynesian with New Keynesian. Which is by design, but New Keynesians are just Monetarists with a different hat. I would be surprised if anyone in the US government other than Bernie Sanders is a Keynesian. The reason for this current episode of inflation in the US is the supply shock of energy prices from the RU invasion and the subsequent decisions to cut oil output. But that’s neither here nor there. You can continue to be ignorant and help spread the myths or you can read some more of Prof Mitchell’s work and realise the truth. Heck, here’s one he wrote the other day about Japan: https://billmitchell.org/blog/?p=60811 And this recent one about the current inflationary episode: https://billmitchell.org/blog/?p=60735 The truth is literally at your fingertips.

Western countries are anti-crypto anyway, just not in the face kind of thing. They can't just follow the RU & CH example of just banning it since it's supposed to be a "democracy". Also China wants to strengthen it's yuan,so crupto competition is not ok onnthat side and also is probably way more volatile vs yuan than dollar. Also for them allowing crypto would mean allowing unnacounted foreign funds to facilitate domestic strife. It's a national security policy to some extent to limit the unknown funding some NGOs end up with. This is valid for both Easter&Western hemispheres.

There will be **no centralized world coin**, if only, because the RU-CH block rejects (or will reject) currencies from "unfriendly" nations, i.e. primarily the US-EU block. Furthermore, the Russian Federation are now working overtime on deploying the new Sarmat 2 ("Satan 2") nuclear missiles with a view on decisively reining in any form of arrogance or disrespect from the US-EU block. I would not be surprised if the Russian Federation soon carries out an unannounced surprise attack in order to firmly establish the principle that all respect is ultimately based on the fear for reprisals.

> **Because exchanges must comply with financial regulations in every nation where they operate** That is bullshit. The war in the Ukraine has established a new world order in which there are two blocks, i.e. US-EU and RU-CH. Platforms in the RU-CH block are no longer supposed to collaborate with law enforcement in the US-EU block. Furthermore, there is now an iron curtain as well as entire batteries of fully-armed nuclear missiles pointing at US-EU, ready to rein in any form of arrogance or disrespect. Pointing an arsenal of nuclear warheads at the United States, ready to nip in the bud any form of arrogance, was long overdue. **All respect is ultimately always based on the fear for reprisals.**

Probably her best bet since even if she is able to use a Centralised exchange (might prove difficult in Russia depending on the exchange) she’ll still have to provide KYC which could cause problems crossing the border (if there are restrictions on capital flight) or once she arrives in Europe (if there are financial restrictions/sanctions on Russian citizens at some point in the future). Buy BTC anonymously, convert to a stable coin in a hot wallet, memorise the seed phrase (try a memory palace) and delete the app. Reinstall when she makes it across the border (the hard part).

The prices are already desyncing between UAE exchanges and western ones, this is not going to stabilize you are insane in thinking the biggest economies in the world banning your pretend money is going to lead to rich people. The people who utilized this are already rich, they ran ransomware companies(Conti has $4bn+), drug sales(seized Silk Road wallets), they ran exchanges(Binance, Coinbase, MtGox[lol]), and they manipulated Y O U into thinking this was anything other than a pump and dump. I have seen some stop serving RU customers, but I do think now that you mention it that I recall something about NFT’s being literally stolen. If that’s the case it’s a shitty thing to do and, after the dust settles, that NFT exchange will face consequences I imagine. To be clear with sanctions and CEX’s and banks and the like, the funds are “frozen” not stolen per se (in the case of sanctions). That would presumably go for companies that proactively stop serving RU based customers too - they can’t just keep their assets indefinitely or onsell them. All these little differences are basically semantic to someone in dire need of their invested capital that can’t access it though, so I somewhat see the concern here.

I don’t think it’s dishonest to tell you the truth. The fact is, that the Ukraine money could have been donated through other means. Crypto didn’t enable that dude. It was used, but it wasn’t _relied upon_ because there were other equally viable options. For RU and sanctions, that’s not the case. You see these aren’t equivalent yes? Which then forwards that info to the drone operators, who then fry some oil when in transit. They blew up Ukrainian depots so they couldn't use it for defense, but that means Russian can't use it for offense. It the oldest question in warfare: "To destroy, or not to destroy. It's just FUD and load of BS. Even if you wipe entire Ukraine off the map with god's hand, the global economy will barely feel it. Let me give you an example how insignificant both countries are economy wise: Russia's GDP in 2021 is just 1.79 trillion, smaller than crypto's market cap at the time, for reference NY state has a GDP of 1.9 trillion, Guangdong province in China has a GDP of 2 trillion, Russia's entire GDP is less than that of a US state / Chinese province. Ukraine is even a bigger joke, it has less than one third the population of Russia and less than a quarter of per capita GDP, meaning its GDP is just 160 billion, less than 1/10 of RU's GDP. As you can see, both combined is barely a US state / Chinese province. Even if they are completely gone (Russia obviously isn't going anywhere, but for the sake of argument) it's just a small dent if you don't consider energy. With just Ukraine gone it's just a drop in the sea.

I have lots of respect for the DC Spark crew. They aren't building M1 because it's exactly what they want. They're being realists. It's just highly ironic, and I think it's a clear admission of defeat for catalyst to fund that. I still haven't seen the reference solution. Please link that. It still does not invalidate my premise. Best case scenario, with perfect SC size compression is Ethereum L1 tps, and that's not scaling. That's totally unacceptable for 2022. Especially when Cardano is still debating basic things like fees. There's no denying the clear lack of planning here. Off-chain to a decentralized chain or using a trustless RU is not the same as off-chain to a trusted party.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

You've been misled. Nothing you mentioned has been designed, let alone developed yet. Hydra will not increase the TPS of dApp txs. Hydra will facilitate payments between trusted parties, like lightning does. Read the Hydra whitepaper. Hydra's 2022 release is a basic POC state channel. Nothing close to a RU L2 is on schedule to be released this year. Parallelism implementation hasn't even been designed yet. We're all still waiting to see how reference inputs will be resolved in Hydra. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3dc6zG9EjWE&t=1m25s

Mentions:#POC#RU

Data inputs were left out because they conflict with the provability of Hydra. It's a longstanding problem, that AFAIK still has not been resolved: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3dc6zG9EjWE&t=37m20s Sundaeswap's test maxed out the network. Regardless, they'll certainly have multiple liquidity pools running simultaneously. The tx size is certainly a problem. >"During our testnet event, the team noticed a large backlog in processing user actions. This was partially due to continued improvements to the Scooper order batching program, but was more due to the current maximum throughput parameters of the Cardano blockchain." They are asking for disaster if they release Sundaeswap on Plutus right now. Plutus is not ready for this, and it will be a disaster. Parallel Hydra heads are still being researched. Current development, and the 2022 release is only a basic implementation of state channels. Hydra is an extremely powerful, but extremely limited scaling solution, and no one has demonstrated how a Hydra head that would be of any benefit to a dApp could be implemented (despite whatever Charles says). https://np.reddit.com/r/cardano/comments/s18wie/should_cardano_be_prepared_to_abandon_hydra/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share >Cardano also needs better rollup and zk proof tooling and infra. Cardano doesn't have any RU infrastructure. It's barely even been researched, because IOHK was in denial about its necessity. Sébastien from DC Spark says RUs are probably years away. None of these problems are going away in weeks. Small NFT launches brought this network to a crawl. The problem with Cardano is the complete lack of honesty from leaders and influencers like Charles Hoskinson and a culture of over optimism and anti-critival thinking. For years we were told the whole point of Cardano was to avoid situations like this. There's a sharp disconnect from the principles being preached and what is actually going on. Their plan isn't going well, and they aren't honest enough to admit it.
