How Crypto changed my life

Transactions tracker. For DeFi mostly.

Even Whales sometimes make mistakes - like the guy who 'lost' $400,000 because he paperhanded a popular Cronos DeFi coin this morning... 🤣

Here's my story, which the thread got deleted because self story are not allowed How Crypto changed my life My wife is starting back her job today so I wanted to share how crypto changed our life in the past months. I posted it once in a comment so few people might be aware but here's the story. About 2 years ago my wife was diagnosed with a cancer right after the birth of the twin. To be able to received the treatment fast enough we had to pay quite a good amount of money instead of waiting on the public list. Thanks covid for slowing down treatment delay.... Few months before the diagnostif, when MMF came out on the market and created the Mshare / SVN I invested around 2k into it. Price of mshare went from 4-5k to 21k. Then it stayed around this number for a few weeks. They had a farm that was giving 9-10% DAILY. I made about 10-12x in two months. I was harvesting about 1k/week. Cashed out a good part of it for pay for wife cancer treatment. Took the rest of it and put in into ETH/Matic/ and few other coins. ** Few months after it was rugpulled 2x so DYOR I had many bad experience about crypto but lets say this one was a life changer and in a good way. I was lucky enough to invest and cash out at the good time. Lets all be patient and one day we may all have a life changing gain. Today is the first day of work of my wife since her cancer. We're going to celebrate it tonight with the kids amd a good bottle.of.champain. I wish you all an awesome day and eventually some nice crypto gain!

Now wife is cancer free since 5 weeks now!

As long as 90%+ of holders don’t look to redeem, it should be fine. It has less than 10% of reserves caught up in SVN

You haven't actually shown where anything I've written is wrong, you've just declared that to be the case. You've made a mistake and are doubling down instead of accepting that git is designed from the very start to be a distributed CVS. ( Distributed being another word for decentralised. ) Of course most companies centralise because they need somewhere that actually is considered the master version. But there's nothing stopping different people maintaining their own chains (known as branches). In git, every commit is technically a branch from the previous commit even if you think you're committing to master what is actually happening behind the scenes is that you're branching (making a new leaf node on the tree) and moving what you consider to be the "master" to point to that new node. This means that different people can maintain different masters then later merge easily, compared to the SVN model. Yes of course most places will have a central place to coordinate all of this and have a "origin/master" but nothing about the git protocol requires working in that way.

The whole raison d'etre of git instead of SVN was to be decentralised: https://git-scm.com/about/distributed Instead of insulting me saying we're doomed you might want to reflect on your own assumptions. Just because most people run in a centralised nature doesn't mean that the technology dictates it. People use centralised services like GitHub because of the benefits of centralisation.

> The crypto of choice must be robust and resistant to tampering or changes, **with a known and active founder and an active CEO or pressure point** >**SVN stuck with Bitcoin because it met these criteria** and offered simplicity Lmao it is literally the opposite of having a known & active founder and an active "CEO"

I don't think storage is the issue, that was fixed by NFTs, especially if the repos are open source. Also contrary to SVN git doesn't have a complicated relationship with previous commits or negociated database comunication, it's pretty much a zip/filesystem of patches being pushed together. The work is being done locally by the git client, the storage can probably be in ifs, the problem seems to be some kind of remote code execution "in the cloud" to present the website, handle pull requests and act as a sort of cloud client for the ease of use and intermediate with the database/filesystem. And that's not trivial, I know we have web3 websites, but I don't think they're that decentralized and the background code execution is slow and expensive on the Blockchain.

SVN, MSHARE and many more unnecessary launches in the MMF ecosystem.

I was the same, I had invested heavily into the Cronos chain with CRO, VVS, MMF, MMO, SVN and MSHARE (stupidly I thought this was me diversifying) and I was yield farming with very high APY's. Anyway I learnt two valuable lessons with that... one, if CRO crashes then they all crash... and two, high APY's are always too good to be true.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I got into crypto at the very beginning of November at ATH's. My first coin was Shiba Inu, I got that because my mate told me it was pumping, by the time I got in on the action the pump was finished. Price went down. Second coin was Dogelon, bought into that as I saw that [Crypto.com](https://Crypto.com) has started to list it. This is the app equivalent of my mate telling me, price had risen to ATH because of the CDC listing. Price went down. Third coin was CRO, I was starting to learn that meme coins were not good plays when it came to investing, so I thought I'd invest in CDC itself through CRO, afterall investing in the actual 'bank' itself must be a surefire way to make money. Went in balls deep and managed to stake for a Jade card and DCA'd from £0.65 to £0.30. I think you all know what happened to that price, but if you don't I will revisit CRO in my timeline still to come. Then I started tinkering with defi, so the Fourth coin I got into was VVS. I don't think that shit ever went up, only down... way down. When I got tired hemorrhaging on VVS I pulled everything and moved over to MMF. And for a while everything was sweet, with high APRs and I went in for MMF, MMO, SVN and MSHARE, brother and sisters I was making bank and I was feeling like life was good. Then MMF lost some of it's momentum with the Serval Finance failed launchpad... the price dipped; then their site was hacked and millions was stolen... the price dipped; and then going back to my CDC comments... Kris from CDC dropped his bombshell about the slash in Earn rates and all of my Cronos coins took a beating... CRO, MMF, MMO, SVN and MSHARE... annihilated. I am only glad I managed to stay away from the whole LUNA debacle. Basically I feel like I have spent the last 6 months in crypto for feck all, every single thing I invested in I have lost money on and at this point I am now 50% down. For a while I felt shell-shocked but after about a week I decided to work on a new strategy for myself. I believe in crypto being the future and I am in it for the long-haul.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I positively think this is a new type of rug. They act like they care about community. But they are minting MMF out of thin air to save SVN. Do they lose their own money for doing this? Not a single cent. They keep doing this instead of getting rid of SVN-Mshare when the farming reward doesn't even give investors any profit

don't understand why the team is still trying to save the SVN-Mshare when it literally makes no sense to keep the farming when reward isn't even worth it and it drags the whole eco down. They are not dump. I smell a stunt

Just a couple of months and there’s not much we can do at this point. I held but it was getting too much for me so I got out. I hope you didn’t get rekt to badly with the price action. Watching MSHARE crash from 21k to 1.5k and hoping for SVN to get above PEG has been too painful to experience. I wish you the best of luck brother!

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

All fair points sir. I’m diversified, and MMF/SVN is definitely my riskiest major investment. That said, I only do MMF for MMF pool (luckily, considering I did have some in the MMF/LION pool but I closed that out before Scrub went south) on MMF. I also stake MSHARE for SVN on Savanna - which is even riskier but I’m making like 2% daily on it. I’ll soon be playing with house money there. So…yeah, risky. But I’m aware, and if it all crashes I’ll be ok. 😁

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

yes, it's just too much going on. I can never stake anything in peace. I am trying with new strategy, I am gonna just hold MMF and do single staking. When there is launchpad rumour, I will buy some SVN and sell at top during launch. I'll let you know if I succeed this launch

The actual 5 are "MMF, MSHARE, SVN, MMO, MAD" 🔥 🔥

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

No need to risk bsc shitcoins when looking for fast profits... just take a look at anything in the MMF.Finance ecosystem on Cronos. Only a matter of months until it passes Pancakeswap at the current rate of growth. Past 24 hours: MAD +110% MSHARE + 45% SVN + 43% etc, etc. It's like the good old days of Pancake when bsc was making serious waves.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

It might well be, but it doesn't matter. Those of us who bought in early and bought in hard have already extracted the initial buy in and the rest is house money ... printing at just under $1,000/day while SVN sits at $1.

Screw it in am gonna say it. I had a weird day today...a complete stranger was kind to me today and I was *surprised* coz very few people have ever been kind to me in my life! u/Wilder54321 *you know what you did. u/Moonsorbust...with your *donation/gifts* I just might be able to pay for my HS (I only have one subject left to give) but I need $500 minimum for that...which mmf and SVN will pay for *probably*. u/Aerocryptic gave me 500 moons! Almost made a grown man cry today *almost*. May God bless you all 💟💖

>There will almost certainly be a drop just like Pegasus for the new launchpad True, but this time SVN is required by all pairings in the Scrub launch. So SVN price will rise because of reduced supply, even after the launch. Which in turn means Mshare will print like crazy... etc. But will likely be choppy for a few days as people go directly for SVN.

r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

I suspect Mshare might boom with the launchpad, or a bit after, if the value of SVN stabilizes at a relatively high level. So, I'd say... two weeks. If the launch is botched, a bit longer. :P

they designed a very nice loop to keep the price pumping between MSHARE, SVN and MMF
