I’ve been playing around on RH for like 6 years but I took like a 3 year break in the middle cuz I bought a bunch of garbage shares back during the meme crazy, lost like 2400 trying to average down on NNDM shares. In August I was bored at work one day so I opened it back up and started playing with options. I don’t put money into it, it’s all money from like 6 years in there and I make like triple what I did back then so I just use it like a game on my phone. I’ve gone from 3600 to 5100 since August with a shit ton of bad plays thrown in the middle because I often overtrade All time is down 3400 which doesn’t seem as far away now that I’ve hit like 4 1000+ days in the last few months, I just need to not follow up those days by losing big too
Up on all timelines except for 1 day and all time. All time is down like 3500, surprisingly due to shares I bought during the meme craze, namely NNDM which I kept trying to average down on and lost like $2500 on before selling it just to get rid of the reminder

There are three categories of penny stocks. Just had a big run, everyone is piling on to get some of the action. It pulls back, then you have bag holders. On a long march continuously downward to delisting/bankruptcy. If these hit a super-micro cap level, maybe think about putting a tiny amount here in case of a magical rebound. But in all likelihood you will lose that investment. Stable company, but prone to big swings, so good for swing trades, but this could take months between transactions. I think that 3rd category is where I’m going to try to stick to, and the tickers I like the looks of are DNN, ATOS, COYA, MCRB, NNDM. And Benny personally traded DNN of those, but I’m watching all of them for opportunities for swings.
It depends, I try to find ones that are held down now because they won’t be ready for 2 years but they have proven products. Like HYSR, Sofi a bit ago, or NNDM now. At some point, the market they address will be ready and I want to take a large share now.

No offense but this feels like deja vu. They ALWAYS say that. This sounds so insanely familiar. Like NNDM, or that robotics company that changed tickers, or that pet food store, etc. Do you have an established savings plan yet with "secure" retirement funds? If not I would highly suggest picking sound companies with repeated profit prior to gambling on unknowns.

NNDM, CENX. Took from 4-6 a share went to 16-30 a share only closed half the positions.. Don't marry a meme. If you hit the play stay away. Lessons learned.
I started investing in 2019. I had positions in $ENPH and $TSLA bc I wanted to be part of the electric transition. Months of not moving had me lowering my positions. 2020 hits and I start selling most of my positions for pharmaceutical stocks like Moderna and Inovio. April 2020, stocks start rebounding but I keep holding the pharmaceutical stocks for another month. Then I slowly sell them off and get back into $TSLA, but not $ENPH. $NNDM was the next revolution of architecture, so I FOMO'd into that. Now that I have money on reserve and more knowledge on balance sheets, I'm less impulsive. But I still regret missing that 10× on Enphase.

for sure, seems it has great potential to run if everything works as intended though I'm naturally a bit skeptical (different but reminds me a bit of trading small caps in 2020 like LAC, NNDM, etc), the recent rounds of positive news over the past 2 months or so is what made get interested in buying shares originally. I've traded this back and forth a few times since then, need to learn more to justify as a long term hold.

Let me tell you a little story about a so called tender offer on SSYS shares that happened some months back... NNDM offered SSYS something like $20 per share in a buyout offer. Shares were 17. I got in.. Stock went up and down but eventually got to 20 and then to 24. This is on the news that NNDM upped their offer to 25 per share. But majority of shareholders would have to agree before this would happen... Then shares started taking, for two weeks straight or so... On the day of supposed buyout, my shares were locked up with my broker.. I could not even sell the shit.. At this point the deal did not go through and my shares were worth less than I paid. I sold for a loss. A few weeks later SSYS bottomed at $10.

It certainly helps for you to give historic examples of risk spreads. Perhaps my expectations needed better reference points. However, if DM is down on the premise that DDD would increase its offer, why would SSYS also be down? ...especially all this on an up day? I guess with these specialized small cap stocks, I need to reel in my assumptions about an efficient market. SSYS has seen a big run, and profit taking isn't crazy (even though VLD and NNDM are seemingly not stopping to breathe today)
NNDM just had a great earnings call today. Revenue up 43% Gross profit up 68% Net income $22m for Q1 2023 where 1 year ago was a $33m net loss. Still discounted compared to where it was at last year. MASSIVE upward potential!

Depends. If they’re bag holding and don’t believe in the next few years being better then yes, they could. But I believe the reality is that SSYS is at the turning point regarding profitability *(and they’re the only profitable AM company at present),* and while NNDM has a lot of cash they’re in big trouble in their own business - so they want to acquire competitors to divert revenue and bail out management.
