Had to repost this without the subreddit links Not saying they can't drop 30% in a week... but RDZN is my favorite pick for 2026. They are in a nice accumulation zone after a pullback. Maybe goes lower. I am planning to compile a large DD this weekend and will post it on RDZNai sub. They are at a profitability inflection with breakeven/profit expected at next earnings (May/June). Currently at $1.15 and I'm aiming for $5 in 2027. AMPX is still a buy but its at ATH right now so buy the dips. MDAI has a highly probable FDA approval expected in 2-3 months for a burn scanning device. Right now is a great entry point. SLS has massive potential for 5x - 50x (depending who you ask) this year/next year on their cancer drug trial readout. Buying now at $5 is fine, hold and wait for trial completion. HGRAF - if you ask HGRAF believers they think HydroGraph will conquer the world with fractal graphene and the price target is immeasurable. It's possible. They plan to uplist from OTC to Nasdaq this year which will open it up to Robinhood retailers and more institutional buyers. Buy the dips. ASTS - Huge potential to 3-5x in 2 or 3 years if they get their satellites up on the planned timeline. I'm accumulating under $100. AMSC - Their superconducting magnetic tapes are necessary in fusion reactors and they are one of like 3 who can make them. Thats for the future, but they do tons of other stuff now and are profitable + growing. Unfairly beaten down. I own all these except HGRAF which I just sold after a 4x run. Obviously do your own DD and risk manage properly. These all have potential to fail. We are in a weird market with multiple wars going on so anything can happen.

$AMSC is better risk/reward for data center play imo. Big bottleneck in efficiency/cooling. Superconductors help. Microsoft announced they want to use superconductors going forward in all data centers. AMSC at p/e of only 11 and price is 50% of ATH. Maybe easier money to be made here than NAND storage plays I hold sndk, mu, and amsc btw

Anyone with context on this company? I'm not seeing a ton. FYI - https://www.trefis.com/data/companies/AMSC/no-login-required/pwvdX8hR/American-Superconductor-Stock-Pre-Market-23-Massive-Tax-Driven-EPS-Beat This is NOT a structural operating beat. The reported $2.75 EPS was driven almost entirely by a $113.1 million deferred tax asset revaluation. This is a non-cash, accounting-driven event. The true structural positive is strong revenue growth to $74.5M, up from $61.4M YoY. Guidance for Q4 is solid, forecasting revenue to exceed $80M. The real forward earnings power is closer to the Q4 non-GAAP guide of $0.17, not the Q3 print.

well solid quarter for AMSC. and Growth stocks can swing a lot, so I get why some investors mention Fundrise as a steadier play alongside equities.

The short story...there was a dream that superconductors would revolutionize the world and money flowed in. In order to hold out until that would happen they diversified into other energy areas. Got screwed by a Chinese company which almost murdered them. Spent the next decade refactoring, diversifying into other energy areas even more, while still holding true to making superconductors a commercial product. Now have a reasonably diverse revenue stream in the energy area showing quarterly profits (for decades they didn't) consistently with growth. The CEO survived a horrible time in the companies history and AMSC came out the other side a much better place.

SYM puts, MTSI calls are my favorites, but I am presently only about 48% accurate. SIRI and PTC puts also seem attractive, but their PE is already low... though that was the case with PYPL too. AMSC calls maybe, stock is beaten down, so a possitive surprise is not priced in. A miss it probably won't fall much more, but a beat and it could pop nice. Keeping in mind my intent is not accuracy as much as catching big moves. Using delta 25 strikes, risk is low relative to profits for a big move.

The #1 answer is Fusion Energy. Fusion has the ability to solve all energy problems, and if you think AI-singularity is the future, it's not going to happen without fusion. The massive data centers need massive power, and they are already connecting up directly to nuclear reactors. Once fusion becomes viable, and it is very close, everyone will want their own fusion reactor. And they will be money printers. Whoever controls fusion will control AI -- and the world. You cannot invest in fusion reactor companies directly at the moment because none are public. But they eventually will be public, and I will load up when they do. Of course, assuming it doesn't appear to be a dilution trap. Commonwealth and Helion are the top picks. Helion already has a deal with Microsoft to supply fusion power by 2028. Whether it actually happens is anyone's guess. However you can buy stocks in companies that make critical fusion reactor components. My favorite ones here are AMSC, BWXT, and MTRN. AMSC – Makes high-temperature superconducting (HTS) wires and magnet systems used in fusion reactors to generate and contain powerful magnetic fields. BWXT – Builds reactor pressure vessels, fuel systems, and heavy nuclear components that can be adapted for fusion vacuum chambers and structural assemblies. MTRN – Supplies beryllium and advanced alloys used in fusion blankets, first-wall shielding, and neutron-resistant structural materials. Obviously anything fusion is highly speculative but it is crucial to get in early. These 3 are also great companies in their own right, not counting anything fusion related.

I’ll give you the list Intellectual property and cyber theft: Massive cyber intrusions for commercial gain: DOJ indictments against PLA Unit 61398 actors (2014), APT10/“Cloudhopper” (2018), APT41 (2020), and additional China-based contractors for stealing IP and confidential business data from scores of U.S. firms and MSPs. Equifax breach: DOJ charged four PLA members in 2020 for the 2017 hack stealing data on ~147 million Americans. Trade secret theft prosecutions: Conviction of Sinovel Wind Group for stealing AMSC turbine software (2018). Systemic concerns summarized by USTR: 2018 Section 301 report and 2024 four-year review detail cyber-theft, state-backed IP acquisition, and market-access pressures. China is well known to completely disregard IP laws as well. Forced technology transfer and market access pressure: USTR found longstanding practices of conditioning market access/approvals on tech transfer and other JV/administrative pressures; the 2024 review says PRC issued some legal changes but core concerns persist. Dumping, subsidies, and trade remedy cases: Solar products: AD/CVD orders since 2012 on Chinese crystalline silicon solar cells/modules; later findings of circumvention via Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam (2022 prelim; 2023/2024 developments). Tires: AD/CVD on passenger vehicle & light-truck tires from China (2015). Aluminum extrusions: Commerce’s 2024 affirmative determinations on multiple countries (including China) for dumping/subsidies (some later negated by ITC injury vote). Other steel/fasteners/staples, etc.: Recurring AD/CVD findings against a range of China-origin industrial goods (example: collated steel staples final in 2020). WTO adjudicated restrictions and export measures: Rare earths, tungsten, molybdenum export restraints: WTO panel/Appellate Body rulings against China’s export duties/quotas (2014–2015). Sanctions/export-control evasion: ZTE: 2017 guilty plea and record penalties (~$1.19 billion) for illegal shipments to Iran/North Korea and obstructing U.S. investigations. Huawei: 2019–2020 U.S. indictments alleging sanctions evasion (Iran), bank/wire fraud, and trade-secret theft (T-Mobile “Tappy”). Case continues. Counterfeits and piracy tied to China based markets/platforms: USTR’s Notorious Markets lists (2023, 2024) continue to highlight China-linked online/physical markets facilitating large-scale counterfeits/piracy. DHS and CBP outline enforcement campaigns against counterfeit flows that heavily involve PRC/HK shipments. Currency practices: Aug 2019 Treasury designated China a “currency manipulator”; the designation was removed Jan 2020 as part of the Phase-One context. (U.S. reports continue to criticize transparency.) Transshipment & tariff circumvention: Solar: Commerce found circumvention where China-origin components finished in Southeast Asia re-enter the U.S. market; temporary tariff waiver ended in 2024 with new AD/CVD findings on those countries. And that’s just a few easily cited examples

AMSC definitely looks cleaner than a lot of the hypey energy names, but the real tell for me would be margin consistency and contract conversion rates. Defense backlog is sticky, but if gross margins can hold north of 30% while cash burn stays minimal, that’s when I’d size in heavier. Until then, it’s more of a “watchlist with alerts” play than an all-in.

I'm with you on that! Investing has really incentivized me to keep up current events, new technologies, geopolitics, etc. which I already liked doing. It's really satisfying reading about something going on and, looking for relevant companies, and seeing if your thesis plays out. I guess Hanwha is a good example of a play like that where I almost got it right (didn't buy it a couple months ago and then stayed out after it popped). And AMSC or RCAT are examples of where it worked out. I've definitely got examples where it didn't work out too lol. Now I realized I should start looking at jobs at some of these companies I'm investing in. So we'll see how that goes 🤞 I'm not at your level of finding new, interesting, companies. But I'm working on it! Thanks for all the sharing you do!

They sure are, but a very excellent tool overall. If you're not already, get into using them against your commons port. Very big returns even just being semi-active, and you can keep exposure to general market and equities you like (or want to get into). It's a much slower (and boring, for us here) burn but also a lot smarter. Toss your megamillions lotto ER's out once in awhile and have a little fun. This round I had decent lotto payouts on BOX and AMSC, set money on fire with ASAN. ASAN unironically kept me out of GTLB because it's otherwise one I would have structured some kind of bullish-leaning lotto on.

I happen to be a high temperature superconductor test engineer. My understanding from talking to people in the industry is that American Superconductor's technology is mostly based on BSCCO wire which is not exactly cutting edge anymore. REBCO is a much more versatile HTS and there are a lot of companies out there with a head start on AMSC in this regard (Faraday, Theva, Fujikura, Sumitomo, Shanghai to name just a few). Why AMSC spiking up? Insiders were selling just recently

Mentions:#AMSC
r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

The recent [insider sale of $1.4M worth of shares](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/american-superconductor-insider-sold-shares-215057877.html) absolutely matters when it's happening right after their earnings beat. This isn't some small scheduled sale - it's a major dump while they're pumping up their backlog numbers to retail. The Grid segment growth of 21% is pathetically low for a company claiming to be at an inflection point. Their flagship business should be growing way faster than this if their story is legit. Sure wind numbers look good but that's not their core focus anymore. TSLA comparison makes zero sense - they actually generate profits. AMSC is still burning cash with [$11.1M in losses last year](https://beyondspx.com/article/american-superconductor-nasdaq-amsc-delivers-impressive-fiscal-2023-results-poised-for-continued-growth) while insiders bail. That's the definition of a red flag. The fundamentals here are garbage. When execs are selling into strength instead of buying more shares to back up their growth story, that tells you everything you need to know. Smart money is heading for the exits.

Mentions:#TSLA#AMSC
r/wallstreetbetsSee Comment

Bruh. [AMSC just posted $2.1M operating cash flow and $1.2M free cash flow](https://beyondspx.com/article/american-superconductor-nasdaq-amsc-delivers-impressive-fiscal-2023-results-poised-for-continued-growth) but insiders are [dumping $1.4M worth of shares](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/american-superconductor-insider-sold-shares-215057877.html). The tech sounds cool af but those numbers don't add up. Insiders selling into strength = red flag. Grid segment revenue growth only 21% YoY. For a company supposedly at the forefront of AI infrastructure that's weak sauce. Their cash position looking good tho. $92.3M in the bank gives them runway. But until they show better execution on the top line this is more gamble than investment. Not touching this until insider selling cools off and they prove they can scale revenue faster in the grid segment. Wind business ain't gonna save them.

I only have a few grand in these and don't actually own AMSC. The vast majority of my portfolio is in VOO, AMZN, MSFT, NVDA, COST, HD, etc. I'm just saying OPs suggestions aren't differentiated, they'd likely go up regardless of who's president. The military and prison one's are also extremely speculative given Trump wants to pull out of wars. If you're betting on more military spending you'll probably see better returns on HII and PLTR and not BA because they're a dumpster fire. HII will service and build new ships which we'll need to do in order to deter China in the south china sea.

r/StockMarketSee Comment

My 3rd grader could have come up with these suggestions. The fact that you’re not even talking about superconductors or energy infrastructure is a huge miss. EME, AGX, PLTR, AMSC all good plays

Closed out two swing trades I had for the small cap rally, TRNS and AMSC. Held on a day too long, but happy with both. Started a position in CAAP and holding the rest for an opportunity. EVVTY earnings tomorrow morning will be interesting, hoping they announce more buybacks since they already did a 2% buyback that lasted for a few months before it ran out of authorization. DHI hit perfectly for the thesis. There isn't going to be a cyclical tank for the big builders. Slowdown, but not a crash. I still think they are dramatically undervalued at 10-11x earnings. At he very least, it should be a 15x like NVR, though I could argue they deserve at least a market multiple. Also, the large buyback was pretty obvious when Don Horton died. He had been resisting pressure to implement this. I continue to think this company could return 6-8% to shareholders via dividends and buybacks annually and possibly more. Add to that 4-6% average revenue growth through the cycle... pretty solid returns. Definitely an ebb and flow business, but not a boom and bust anymore.
