Don't take my word for it. Google "reddit ad analytics" and it will show you subreddits of redditors who tried advertising on reddit... they all EXPECTED poor results and it's exactly what they got. Low performance, low CTR, low CRC. It's like fishing. With Facebook you can cast a massive net over a body of water where you can see a lot of fish. Reddit it like a thousand small ponds, some lakes, and trying to decide where the fish are. Maybe AI can solve this? But as of right now, the yields are too low for it to be worth the effort and investment for ad buys.

Long post, but I find this stuff fascinating lol I saw the title and thought this was about the NY reservation businesses. Those mfs are moving literal *tons* of sketchy California/Oklahoma black market bud, oil and edibles. The store that I go to has some legit, sealed, CA-licensed, top shelf eighths that I've verified with the west coast growers, but I don't really trust any of the extracted stuff (ex: CRC was for $5-10/g) I frequently shoot the shit with the owners of these shops when they're on site and some of their stories are hilarious. The competition is insane. The closest Rez shop (Dispo A) to my home town is 25 highway miles away and is right off the exit. They were the first one with billboards leading into the exit. They started advertising $50-60/ounce sales when NY legalized and you'd see other shops throwing up ads for $40...$30...$25... They've been racing to the bottom and now it's stuck at $10 for shitty last-years outdoor. Dispo A bought an adjacent property next to their closest competitor (Dispo B, 10 second walk between the two). Dispo A built a bigger retail store and put a massive white wall fence directly in front of the Dispo B to the point where you can't see the shop from the road. Dispo B responded by putting a huuuuge electronic sign on top of their building. So now you get off the exit, see 3-4 competing billboards and drive past Dispo A2, Dispo B and Dispo A1. They're all within a 20 second walk from each other. Highway---Exit----A2-B-A1----------------------------------C----D--E---------F---- etc etc. *Both* of Dispo A's stores are attached to tax-free gas stations and I'm pretty sure they own them outright by now. If you fill up for more than $20, you can bring the receipt inside for a free pre roll. They're totally washing money with the fuel sales, but I give em a ton of credit. It's a civilized version of the wild west and the marketing tactics are ballsy as hell. Most of the owners that I've talked to are normal, friendly people, but you can tell that they were probably involved in something before NY went legal. You don't just start one of these things up without being plugged in... I usually go to Dispo B because they have some real CA designer brands at $50/eighth. I also saw fancy psilocybin chocolate bars behind the counter this week. Budtender said he's tried em and they're legit 😂 Margins have to be through the roof on the mid grade commercial bud that I see most people buying. No sales tax, no testing, no tracking. All cash business. Just gotta have a decent supply chain of vacuum-sealed priority mail packs. It's so fucking funny to watch these people throw a cheap structure together within a week and start pumping $5-10m+ sales out of a single location. Probably should have thrown my weedstock money into a partnership with one of em lol The NY rollout has been terrible overall, but there are certain counties in NY full of boomer council members that are "still considering the risks of bringing a legal store into our sacred, god-loving towns". This is the only reason why the Rez shops are raking in cash. I know a lot of consumers that would rather drive 5 minutes down the street and pay a bit extra for tested, licensed product. I'm curious if anyone here has also been watching/experienced this side of the NY "industry". It's been really interesting to see it develop. /storytime

Read something at IR website. There is a lot of risk in this scenario and I share my thoughts: - BOT/BAL is an new immunotherapy combo (anti PD1/CTLA4). This combination is already used in some solid tumours (melanoma) with a very challenging safety profile - CRC market is mainly driven by biomarkers (RAS) in 1st and 2nd line, mainly combining an biologic (like cetuximab or bevacizumab) plus a chemo based on 5-FU. Immunotherapies in this setting have a very small market - ACTIVATE study design is for 3rd line comparing BOT/BAL against lonsfurf or regorafenib. Only if they prove superiority in this setting I think they may have success in ph3. The chemo break story in this 3rd line is a strong message for HCPs. In summary: I’ve started a small position and will watch closely ph2 results. After ACTIVATE results we may be able to think more clearly how BOT/BAL profile will be in CRC.

Shortage was more so like a case of items got ruined in transit arrive broken. Most people would just throw it out but you were supposed to scan it out and follow steps to dispose of it properly. The main issue I saw was they had a salvage house and something they called CRC. CRC was their returns center that sent the item back to the manufacturer and it wouldn’t count as shortage. If the label for CRC wasn’t right next to the items actual label and everything securely closed it counted as shortage. Everything could be perfect except the sticker location and it was shortage. If certain items weren’t bagged on return shortage. Their system for tracking stuff is kinda garbage and it gives the oppurtunity for “lost items” basically moved from the front of store to back stock but never scanned into location at back stock. That item gets sold but it was never put in back stock so it’s shortage. The salvage house was also a bit picky as well with what they sent. A lot of clearance items aren’t handled properly become lost items that get sold but you don’t know. Another big thing causing shortage was at the register with target you can price challenege or stuff missing barcodes gave the clerk an oppurtunity to create shortage if they didn’t do some extra work to find the item being sold or the actual correct way to price challenge

In 2022, all stocks were being re-evaluated due to bond yields spiking up. The TNX was rising fast which lowered the forward P/E for all stocks. Long-term bond yields affect banks’ revenue. Short-term bond yields affect their expenses. Because the yield curve was inverted for more than 3 months, that signaled some sort of instability in the financial system (not an economic recession, per se). In 2023, BAC and bank stocks went down due to a sentiment scare where retail and small funds are selling their bank shares for short-term treasury securities. That’s about to end soon. That said, Bank of America took a risk from 2020-2022 with increasing their commercial real estate loans. In Q1 2023, the Federal Reserve stated their concerns over CRC. In BAC’s Q1 earnings, their provisions for credit losses increased by over $1 billion… not the smartest move that BAC has done. Their net income is fine though. So it’s not exactly in danger here, except for someone’s banking career.

Under normal rules if an insider bought before the news was spread, then sold right after, they'd have to return the profits to the company under this rule.

CRC made a hasty political decision barring any reason last week. Curaleaf's cultivation facility supplies whole sale cannabis to multiple social equity license holders in NJ. CRC basically put the jobs of 500 people in jeopardy by not renewing the licenses, even though it was recommended for renewal. The Curaleaf Russian FUD and BS allegations from self-proclaimed journalists and social justice keyboard warriors on Twitter has been spearheading the Curaleaf hate we've seen lately.

Thinking this through. Reports suggest the CRC took issue with closure of the Bellmawr cultivation site (under suspicion of union busting per reports from 3 weeks ago), which needed to be approved by the CRC under the Regs (see Section 17:30-9.2). And yesterday the CRC mentioned that the application had inaccuracies. I bet the application didn’t cover closure of the Bellmawr facility because Curaleaf hadn’t committed to close it when the application was submitted several months ago. Curaleaf should’ve sought the CRC’s approval to close Bellmawr as soon as the decision was made and — critically — also amended the renewal application.

ChatGPT: If a company's recreational sales license is not renewed by the Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC), the company can challenge the decision through an administrative appeal process. The first step would be to review the reasons for the non-renewal provided by the CRC and identify any areas of disagreement. The company can then file a written appeal with the CRC within the specified time frame, typically within 15 to 30 days of receiving notice of the non-renewal. The appeal would generally be heard by an administrative law judge, who would review the evidence and arguments presented by both the company and the CRC. The judge would then make a recommendation to the CRC on whether the non-renewal should be upheld or overturned.

>Considering they are really the only realistic ev play and non evs are getting banned in the next 10 years it's a retirement play. This would be true.... if it was 2006. However, since 2010, you are far behind the ball. GM, Ford, and Chrysler have all been investing massively into EVs since 2010. By 2011, they were all on a massive hiring plan and that included sponsoring battery technician degrees so that people could go to school for free and get paid by them while doing so. They have been taking the long term route. However, turning the wheels of progress for massive companies takes time. They don't want to rush it. GM and Ford have been doing autonomous testing since 2014 (?) in anticipation. They have been designing these vehicles for over a decade now. Most of that is the internal electrics and the best way to swap the plants for full production. They were starting major swaps for 2019 with a 2020 release date. They pushed it back when it was found that to meet the demand schedule, they would need a few more factories. This pushed it back to 2023 due to the pandemic and people buying so many cars. Ford built their first new factory in 40 years completed this year specifically for EVs. 2023 is the year for the majority of EV releases if not by 2024. Tesla isn't the only game in town and is no where close to the cheapest or best quality. >Cyber truck, a new car that puts it within the tax credit range, those could easily keep the growth rate up there The Ford lightning already delivered 13k in October of 2022. 2023 production rates are expected at 150k. Chevy already has 150k reservations for the Silverado EV slated for spring of 2023. Production looks like it will keep up. It starts at 40k well within the tax credit and price range of many weekend warriors. >not to mention other sources of income if they get the Tesla Bots going No offense, if Sony can't get the Aibo going, Tesla is screwed on this. The designer of the Aibo literally developed the code checking method for data transfer called CRC specifically for the Aibo system. They crammed a full vision system on 10 mb. Tesla is decades away at best. >If there's more growth in their Tesla Solar and/or battery packs Not likely. The Chinese are beating them on technology. They failed to bid on solar efficiency upgrades that were offered from a Washington based research team. This research gave Chinese companies a major win over US manufacturers. They don't do enough R&D work let alone research to make the major breakthroughs needed. This isn't "program it better", it is fundamentally making the major changes necessary. Think Theranos not Paypal. >higher margins if prices of parts fall faster than the prices of the cars do. They have constant production issues that are systemic. This isn't going to go well for them. >1 year perspective, terrible buy, use stop loss, swing trade, manage risk. 15-30 year outlook, buy the way The last 3 years were the buy period. The next 4 years were potentially a buy period if gas prices dropped and the economy went down massively. Now, it is the time to short Tesla until the stock hits near 0. After said point, you buy it hoping for a buy out or Tesla to magically fix its own issues.

My nightmare scenario is this: I keep investing and dollar cost averaging in the ultimate faith that, like every other time, the stock market will eventually come roaring back. However... I can actually imagine a scenario wherein our political system enters a crisis so deep that something calamitous comes out of it. Imagine that the Supreme Court next year rules that only State Legislatures can appoint electors. Republican states then disregard their vote totals and send electors to DC who support Trump or another Republican candidate. Republicans, who now control the House of Representatives by a narrow margin, accept those fake electors and appoint a Republican president despite Biden or another democrat winning both the popular vote and the electoral college. The nation is plunged into chaos as the Biden White House refuses to accept the fake electors and riots erupt all over the country. Our hyper-polarized country is now on the verge of, dare I say, civil war. The Supreme Court, who has recently overturned long-standing precedent after long-standing precedent, is no longer respected as a neutral, impartial institution, but simply another partisan actor, can't arbitrate the dispute. The destruction of our institutions in pursuit of selfish interests, so brazenly attempted under Trump, has finally become complete. Our country is no longer a functioning democracy. Armed vigilante groups start "policing" what they think is right. Looking for "BLM," "Antifa," "Drag Queens," anyone teaching "CRC," or whatever boogymen they are told are ruining the country, white nationalist groups start appearing more and more often to intimidate minority communities. More and more people arm themselves. You can see where this is going.

There Arizona cultivation started in Dec 2021 and announced it's first sales today so 6 month lag from approval. It sounds like they are expecting to be able to sell rec before the first harvest from the cultivation expansion. "Ayr does have local approval for three adult-use dispensary locations and a 70,000-square-foot cultivation facility that is complete and awaiting regulatory approval. While the company would have liked to win early approval, its financial expectations for the state are modeled on May 24 approval, according to Sandelman. The team is working closely with the state’s regulators, and Sandelman remains confident that Ayr will receive approvals at the May CRC meeting." NJ CRC email update: Last Thursday, the first day of adult-use sales in New Jersey, the state’s 12 participating dispensaries sold cannabis and cannabis products to 12,438 recreational cannabis customers for a total gross sale of nearly $1.9 million. Sales of medicinal cannabis products have also been strong over the last 30 days with approximately 64,000 ounces of products dispensed to patients and their caregivers. On April 20 – the day before adult-use sales began – ATCs dispensed 5,400 ounces of medicinal cannabis and cannabis products across New Jersey. In the five days following the beginning of adult-use sales an additional 7,500 ounces were dispensed to patients. “We expected sales to be substantial and the data shows that the market is effectively serving both adult-use consumers and patients,” said Jeff Brown, executive director of the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission. “We continue to monitor inventory and access for patients and are prepared to take enforcement action against any ATC that does not meet the requirements for patient access and supply.” While lines have been steady at all the dispensaries, there has not been any substantiated reports of supply problems for medicinal cannabis patients. The NJ-CRC continues to monitor and respond to complaints to ensure patients have adequate supply and access. The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission establishes and enforces the rules and regulations governing the licensing, cultivation, testing, selling, and purchasing of cannabis in the state.

They were instructed to open rec by 2/22. BUT they just started applications for new rec stores. New rec stores probably won’t open until the fall. That leaves the established dispensaries, who have been begging to sell to recreational buyers. CRC said they need to meet the existing medical demand. Curaleaf said they have too much inventory, they are running out of storage space and it is going to expire so they need to press it into oils. So there is zero reason that rec sales aren’t open TODAY other than the CRC being completely disorganized

Washington's marijuana industry is crashing because of low prices from competition between producer/processors and rising mark ups from the retailer. From the beginning of "i502" up until about a year ago, a 3x to 3.5x mark up was industry standard. If you wanted a $20 gram of of oil on the shelf, you sell it for $6.33 to $6.66/g to the store. (6.66 x 3 = ~$20) . Now since everyone and their momma need to do "30% off the store!" every other day, mark ups are closer to 4x to 5x. So the same $6.67 gram of oil is now closer to $5. ($5 x 4 = $20). This is happening for ALL products across the board. Also, "CRC" and "auto flowers" have also had a hand in crashing prices. 2 years ago you could sell oil blacker than the Knights Watch from GoT for $3.33/g all day everyday. Now with CRC, the $10 (shelf price) oil looks like the $60 oil. The quality of oil has gone up and the prices go down. Autoflower allows outdoor growers to get an entire extra harvest (sometimes 2) compared to full term plants. Extra supply with no extra demand added. Flower prices are rock bottom, trim/biomass is rock bottom, and concentrates are rock bottom. There's simply too much material and not enough consumption. Most people don't understand the difference between markets like Florida and Washington/Oregon. One is a state approved Monopoly with inflated prices and margins and the other is a competitive market. I remember doing a Kush Marketplace tradeshow in Oregon in like 2018ish and there were quite a few cannabis farmers switching from THC to CBD because of low prices.

It's 10% annual. I believe it's for CRC bonds not USD, inflation appears to be low in Costa Rica over the past few years so the USD yield might be only a few percentage points lower. Yield is not about what you can afford. It's about what financiers are willing to lend at. A yield of 10% (or, say, 7% for the USD bonds) implies that bond buyers anticipate a relatively high risk of default and/or high inflation.

No dude, this is backwards. In 2020 every SMID-cap E&P was shitting themselves due to what happened in April. Many of their debt covenants also require a certain % of production be hedged (mostly tickers from companies emerging from bankruptcy: CRC, BRY, CHK, BCEI, etc). So they hedged at those bottom-of-the-barrel 2020A swap prices of $40 - $50/bbl Oil has consistently traded on the spot market for $70 - $80 / bbl Point being, if you hedged 2021 production in 2020, you lost money (but gained peace of mind). That's the point OP is making. It's actually super evident if you look at a company's 2021E FV/EBITDA multiple and it's materially larger than their 2022E FV/EBITDA multiple (because of fewer hedges in 2022E and significantly better strip pricing than what their hedged barrels are priced at)

CRC debt is China’s government debt so it’s not an issue. I do wish my country can be in this type of debt, yet have super high speed trains like China which is affordable to travel and a Big benefit for its society.

Some people were concerned about some building developer being $300 billion in debt, when the real debt was the national Chinese rail way company CRC. It seems to be the same as selling naked calls at $100 as SPY reached $470+, infinite losses. The fact that there are other misc elements that could put the real number higher than 1.8 Trillion is bad enough, but the richest city in China is only worth $600 billion in comparison, the amount of debt is almost incalculable. The whole country is running on fumes and debt, it's a big communist red mirage tricking people into thinking there's actually money being generated somewhere. Banks and bondholders will be finding out they should have ran years ago. Of course I expect the local WSB stockholders to be stubborn and hold.

i spilled a glass of wine on my macbook once and I fixed it myself i had the pentagon screwdriver handy place it upside down somewhere at room temperature in a dry place, order the pentalobe screwdriver (or buy a screwdriver kit from ifixit) and get this: [https://www.amazon.com/CRC-05103-Electronic-Cleaner-11/dp/B000BXOGNI](https://www.amazon.com/CRC-05103-Electronic-Cleaner-11/dp/B000BXOGNI) take apart laptop, sit there with q-tips and clean out the dried beer before turning it back on to prevent a short circuit it probably still works... if you can't get it to work someone else can and will pay a lot more if the thing isn't still covered in sticky beer check out louis rossman on youtube

That's really great to hear! I'm clean from illicit drugs but I still take Phenibut, Kava Kava and Kratom cause they don't show up on tests but I'm going to college now! so that's good, I'm eligible for early release from my deferred probation in May so I'm just chilling rn. Hey, man the market is GREAT for dabs, I get 30 Grams of distillate for 220 in syringes, I put it in a pen and heat up the pen (normally you'd cut it with terps to make it viscous enough to soak into the pen coil) and hit it on a rig with a janky ass adapter I made. Plus as long as you don't talk to the police anyone could have sent you that package ;) people don't get in trouble they just get love letters and some people keep going after that lol which is almost exclusive to international shipping, Domestic dabs shipping is safe af. If you spend a bit more there's lots of good terpy real ounces of dabs for 300-500 some of it is CRC but still tastes great, I used to smoke 1-2 grams of dabs every day, fuck I miss it :( I've got 4 grams of dabs rn that I won't touch but LSD and nitrous is good too :P Cheers, friend! 🙏 I wish you the best

Even with CRC and error detection and all that logic is not perfect due to being an axiomatic system. Any axiomatic system will have statements that cannot be proved or disproved using it... which is why I stated that I simply don't like relying too much on it.

Things are constantly changing and, yeah, there is dark matter and stuff, so probably something will change in the future, like relativity improved Newtonian physics without totally invalidating it, but that's the point, too. The price will converge long term to something within bounds of the perceived intrinsic value at any moment, i.e. if a company got some astonishing overperformance for the last 10 years, price won't be locked at 20 years old projections, won't be zero, and probably will effect projected future earnings. So there are errors, if projections are wrong and expectations are broken, the consensus failed and something that was priced in does not happens, it will converge to another value, not the one market expect to. It does not invalidate the rule and it's not something you can easily classify. You know, formal logic don't work in that way. If you state that everything has a exception, everytime you state a predicate to all things belonging to a group, that statement is also invalid, and formal logic stops happening. You cannot have AND gates that do not work properly, unless it's an error, and that's why CRC, redundancy and error detecting exists.

Oh man, if you're banking on lower prices because, idk, POTUS thinks it'll help his reelection odds (.....in three years....in light of all the de-carbonization hype he campaigned on and staffed his cabinet with....) you're in for a rude awakening. US producers aren't going to step in - they got completely dickslapped by the market in 2013 when they levered up to expand production only to see prices get cut in half in late 2014 through 2016, with many of those tickers just now emerging from bankruptcy with clean balance sheets (CHK, CRC, etc). The market isn't going to reward US E&Ps for doing the same shit again in 2021. TL;DR Regulatory forces aren't holding back domestic production to meet the demand shortfall. Market forces are.

N.J. Stat. § 24:6I-34(d)(1)(a). This means the CRC has until *August 21, 2021* to establish such rules. Whether that deadline will be met remains to be seen.

That's the best scenario possible but the CRC is going to take their sweet time setting up the rules. They need to undo some heinous rules in the med program still like the 350ml cap for cartridges and the ability to have edibles in food form instead of just lozenges.

Went heavily on oil. It was heavily underpriced during the pandemic, and a great entry point and with a cartel to keep the market from crashing. Though it was a risky play, a few oil companies went bankrupt. In 2 I had minimal shares (CRC and DNR) , but was lucky to close because it looked too risky to hold as the pandemic draged on. In hindsight should've went with tech stocks, but never saw and i still don't see their current overpriced state (some ofc are exceptions) as something rational, but that doesn't mean I'm right. Expected it to slowly go up, glad it went faster. Plan to sell 70% as the oil price stabilise and invest in SPY and tourism, as I think this summer if all goes well people will be hungry for traveling
