Are you in KF? Wouldn’t it make more sense to invest directly into sk hynix and samsung?
The issue with these is that they have already run very significantly. That's not to say that they can't go further, but the easy money has been made. I've owned BE since last Summer and there have been real declines along the way. This is not "steady growth", this is something that could easily -30% in a month (which it did in March before skyrocketing off the lows.) Additionally, with BE behind-the-meter power has become a much bigger play because it takes less time than other conventional methods, pollutes less and actually generates less noise (an increasing positive in a world where less and less people want a data center nearby.) "Memory / scaling side" Memory has already run so much and given continued high capex spend it might run a good deal more but I have a hard time seeing a persistent memory shortage lasting for years, it will cause real impact to consumer electronics and a lot of other areas of the economy. I've owned NVDA for years because I viewed it as a company that could grow and evolve with technology and it has. I see memory as a shortage and eventually supply will meet demand and by the time that happens, you're not going to want to still own it (additionally, the market will continue to try to anticipate that.) KF is a closed end fund that has continually traded at a discount to NAV and a significant amount (about 33%) of it is Samsung and SK Hynix. It currently trades at about a 15% discount to NAV.
The 265 KF is pointless now that the new 270K Plus is out, unless you can get it at an unreasonably good discount.
I'm really curious about this narrative because if you Google 265 KF which is probably the best value chip in the Intel line when it comes to price versus performance. You can still get one for 240 bucks In fact any intel chip that you want is available. You look at what Intel actually made, you look at the hype, you look at the chart, I mean I'm just thinking out loud but if I still held this I would be selling
As others have said it's not easy to buy South Korea names in the US. Some of the ETFs are highly concentrated in Samsung/SK Hynix, but it's not easy to buy individually - there's no US ADR/foreign ordinary (that actually trades) for either. KF in the US is a Korea focused CEF that still surprisingly is at a pretty decent discount to NAV.
Given all the attention on South Korea and SK Hynix/Samsung, surprised KF trading at a 13.7% discount to NAV still. A bit less of those two names than EWY, but still about 33% of the fund.
I lost a lot of money for no reason today AT LEAST GIVE A REASON RDDT YOU CUCK KF A STOCK
This!!! Top 4 stock recommendations: Korea Aerospace Industries -> will soon begin export production of the new KF-21 air superiority fighter in which there are multiple countries expressing interest in purchasing. Currently a 4.5 gen fighter, but is expected to be further enhanced in future blocks to 5th and 6th generation multi-role fighters. Hanwha Ocean -> Korean shipbuilder, specializing in advanced submarine production Hyundai Heavy Industries -> Korean shipbuilder, specializing in surface fleet production (carriers, cruisers, destroyers) Hyundai Rotem -> K2 Black Panther manufacturer which has seen significant export interest and purchases from multiple countries.
Sweden: We have three diffrent types of accounts ISK (Investment savings account), KF (Capital insurance) and Aktie- och Fondkonto (Stock- and fundaccount). ISK/KF is taxed once a year and is based the amount of assest + cash on your account and on the government loan intrestrate so it shifts from year to year. Im too lazy to translate the whole calculation. The effective rate has historically been less then 1% of your assests + cash on your ISK-accounts. The current government has made ISK/KF even better as from 2025 your first 150 000kr (15k ish) are taxfree and from 2026 its increased to 300 000kr (30k ish). On ISK/KF you dont have to report any trades to the IRS either since it doesnt matter you are only taxed based on the assets + cash on your account. On Stock- and fundaccounts you are taxed at 30% on your profits and you can deduct losses. The majority find ISK accounts to be the smoothest user experience. KF is nice if you deal buy alot of stocks from other markets than the swedish market or if you want a account with a specific beneficiary for example your kid. Brokerage fee is the same regardless of the account type. Just find a broker with a good deal. The most popular bank for stock trading i think is avanza. Their prices differ based on how big your order is, the majority of people will probably pay between 10 cents - 2 dollar per trade.

"If you own Rolls-Royce (RR) through a U.S. ticker (e.g., an ADR – American Depositary Receipt), the taxation works differently than if you held the original UK-listed shares. Here’s how it works: 1. UK Withholding Tax on Dividends The UK does not impose a withholding tax on dividends for non-residents. This means that if Rolls-Royce pays a dividend, no UK tax is deducted before you receive it, regardless of whether you hold it via a U.S. ADR or a direct UK listing. 2. No U.S. Withholding Tax (If It's a Non-U.S. Company) Since Rolls-Royce is a UK company, no U.S. withholding tax is applied on its dividends, even if you hold it in an ADR form on a U.S. exchange. The ADR issuer (a bank handling the ADR program) simply passes on the dividends after taking any applicable fees. 3. Swedish Taxation In Sweden, dividends from foreign stocks (including ADRs) are taxed at 30% capital gains tax in a standard brokerage account. Since the UK does not withhold any tax on dividends, there is no foreign tax to deduct against your Swedish tax liability. This means the full 30% tax applies in Sweden without any reductions. 4. If Held in ISK or KF ISK: You still pay 30% Swedish tax on dividends, but you cannot claim any tax deductions. KF: Your insurance provider manages tax reclaims, but since the UK has no withholding tax, there is nothing to reclaim. Summary: No UK withholding tax on dividends. No U.S. withholding tax since Rolls-Royce is a UK company. 30% Swedish tax applies to the dividend in a regular brokerage account. ISK and KF work differently, but since no foreign tax is withheld, there’s nothing to reclaim." According to chatgpt the diffrence does not matter, only diffrens is that price is slightly diffrent sometimes.

Intel still makes very competitive products, but saying their contact issue is completely fixed by a bios update is just cope. I just had to return my 14700KF because of the voltage issue, that was momentarily remedied by the bios update, only for it to start having overheating problems immediately after. AMD is much more reliable in the short term, and has always been more bang for your buck. Intel just has the lions share of the office worker laptops/ desktops. I imagine that will slowly slip away from them as younger IT professionals become system admins who decide on baseline equipment for their environments. I see intel slowly bleeding out to nothing more than a dividend trap in the next 10 years. Hell, iirc intel stock is worth less now than it was 10 years ago lol

I think you're missunderstanding me. TPU is some new term you're right. Tensor Processing Unit. Or NPU Neural Processing Unit have been around for some time. But that's not the point. You can create an inferior chip all you want. You can buy millions of those. At some point the compute density of what Nvidia is offering is extremely efficient. You can't say oh this TPU that I made 10 years ago is viable today. And then what you can possibly make today isn't viable today either lol. Do you think that Nvidia, AMD, and Intel are all just idiots? Everybody could make their own OS but yet we only have MacOs and Windows and Linux. Just because somebody can do it doesn't mean that they should do it. The compute density that Nvidia creates is unmatched. People are like, OMG it's power hungry. Let me explain it in the perspective to you like this. I Blackwell B200 GPU devlivers 20 petaflops or 20,000 teraflops of FP4 performance. The highest end Core i9-14900KF is approximately 1 teraflop of FP32 performance. I don't know what there is to say after that. The space savings/density of accelerated compute versus general compute is unfathomable. Nvidia is King - the end.

Is 1972 long enough ago? that's 52 years. [https://www.portfoliovisualizer.com/backtest-asset-class-allocation?s=y&sl=5DuQzxklVLlZc4j8KF3dFD](https://www.portfoliovisualizer.com/backtest-asset-class-allocation?s=y&sl=5DuQzxklVLlZc4j8KF3dFD) Cash has roughly zero real return. This is a surprise to exactly nobody who has cared to find out. And yes, inflation is neutral over the long run. Macroeconomics 101 or look at the previous few hundred years of economic history. Inflation expectations are built into prices when the central bank is doing it's job (which they are exceedingly good at). Yes CPI is broadly correct. It is not perfect, no model is, but it agrees with other measures of inflation produced by both governmental entities and independent entities. The basket of CPI goods changes because consumer habits change. Do you think we should still account for black&white TV costs or ignore prices of things like cellular service or internet or streaming services? Retirees have little to worry about: social security is inflation adjusted, pension plans are typically inflation adjusted, investments into public equities significantly outperform inflation over the long run, and even if they are all cash then their purchasing power would remain roughly the same as long as it's in a bank and not sitting under a mattress. Coffee is still in the CPI - i have no idea where you got the idea that it isn't. It certainly wasn't by reading information published by the BLS. Honestly I think you're just deliberately ignorant, or have been sold a false narrative that everything is terrible when it is not and this somehow makes you feel better. Stop indulging in stupid conspiracies. Grow up.
The issues were happening with the recommended default Intel settings too. There's likely something wrong with those too and its not entirely clear if lowering the voltage will fix this completely. The end result, from the user perspective, is that you can't trust the CPU anymore to compute all instructions correctly. https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/1ekiwku/signs_to_be_aware_if_your_13th14th_gen_cpu_is/ Also, among all CPUs the 14900KF has the highest returns: https://i.redd.it/k3v0zo3qe0hd1.png
Just curious does the affect ALL chips? I have an i9 13900KF. I never overclocked it or adjusted its settings. I have used it for gaming should I expect it to crash?
From your link: "After updating his BIOS to the latest he hasn’t crashed in nvgpucomp64.dll since and we’re optimistic that the weird crashes that only he was getting won’t be back either." Another one says that some developers think they know what the problem is, and think that intel does too, but neither are saying it. Intel says that the bios update from a couple weeks ago is much better but not the real cause, but doesn't say what the real cause is. [https://community.intel.com/t5/Processors/June-2024-Guidance-regarding-Intel-Core-13th-and-14th-Gen-K-KF/m-p/1607807](https://community.intel.com/t5/Processors/June-2024-Guidance-regarding-Intel-Core-13th-and-14th-Gen-K-KF/m-p/1607807) It is a strange situation.
What I don’t understand is why use consumer chips for cloud servers, Xeons are made for that or Epyc, I know it’s a cheaper solution but still you need the right equipment for the right job. Personal I’m using a 13900KF and never experienced any issues or breakdowns.
Not me. I have a i9-13900KF and it’s a royal pile of shit. Over the last 4 months I have had crash after crash and through forums and troubleshooting it was determined the CPU was prematurely degraded. Apparently the KF series are more susceptible to the regular K series to that issue.
IIRC Steve said it affects all K and KF series in his video.

Key there being year 1 to 5 most of ICE cost of ownership is from oil changes which EVs don’t have but however that doesn’t fully include post warranty repair costs which Tesla are notorious for see this: https://youtu.be/lu4-tXJZxi0?si=KF5HoK9M_7QL_P9v I am looking for US data but it is hard to find but some of extended warranty costs for Tesla have shot up and are now the highest for any models in US.

Yes an no so a normal wallet address looks like this : 0x05D85KF859F86bEerP895 etc However ENS domains are becoming popular much like how a website used to be an IP address and domains shortened them. For example: Willsmith.eth can be registered and used instead of the long string or okbrillant.eth, with this becoming the norm looking up someones wallet is extremely straight forward. Also yes I can be 100% anonymous though, however I have to figure out a way to circumvent using an exchange. All exchanges use KYC so cashing out without using your real identity is tough and I won't mention how to do it here.

I don’t know much about the KF-21, Im sure it will take time to prove its self and not sure what the prices will be. im guessing it will compete with the f-22 not the f-35 (really nothing can compete) but I wouldn’t consider it a threat to LMT sales rn.

KF gets taxed directly from that account instead of in the declaration as in the ISK. And the KF owns the stocks and funds meaning they will make the works so we get our dividends. Other than that I don't think there's much difference

Hey, KRAZAM did this first! https://youtu.be/_o7qjN3KF8U
When does the big titty inflation expose its KF to us then?
Yes, Storebrand USA is the index fund I'm invested in. Also, how does a KF account differ from a ISK?
What index fund is it if I may ask? Also living in Sweden. Storebrand USA is the cheapest USA index fund I know of. Remember, if you choose to buy foreign stocks, buy in a KF account instead of ISK since the dividends you may receive will otherwise get double taxes. I have been changing my portfolio since most have been overvalued according to myself as opposed to cheap. The index will probably be fine over time but I'm very afraid when I see bad ratios. You could buy some stocks and just hold them forever or sell them if they get really expensive. They are stable and boring companies. If you for example look at [Treasure ASA](https://www.chooseinvesting.com/stocks/treasure-asa-analysis/), it's an investment company with only one holding that's publicly traded. And the revenue has been increasing every year for the past 10 years with pretty boring results as you can see. There are many companies like this and when they instead get overbought and hence more expensive we tend to make less money. So buying some boring and not talking much about companies can be good to just buy and hold till everyone talks about them. You can never know if you will beat the market tho and diversification is a must since we can be wrong.

I agree that SEC has been quick to file EFFECTs till January, but something changed since the second week of February that slowed them down significantly. There have been articles out saying SEC have been scrutinizing SPAC deals and their financial projections more closely so I'm guessing that's causing the slowdown. I've linked an image of a spreadsheet showing recent companies that filed F1/S1s and the time till their EFFECTs, you can clearly see what I'm talking about on it (might wanna view it on desktop for a better quality image). [S1/F1 to EFFECT](https://i.imgur.com/M1Ot8KF.jpg) Now it's completely possible that the SEC files SST's EFFECT before OpEx next week, but I'd completely attribute that to the SEC being in bed with the hedgies and market makers rather than any expedited process SST might have requested unless you can prove it somehow with sources. Even if it was an expedited process, the SEC has till at least Apr25 to get the EFFECT out for SST before the cashless exercise clause comes into play (considering the number of business days including federal holidays since the business combination).

an abnormally walking man entering the country caught the eye of Chinese border officers, who consequently apprehended him and found that he carried a total of 160 Intel processors which had been taped to his body in order to avoid paying import duties. The exact CPU models have not been identified, but a corresponding picture in the video shows that the confiscated chips included the aforementioned Alder Lake chip Intel Core i5-12600KF. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Video-shows-hapless-smuggler-getting-caught-with-160-Intel-Alder-Lake-CPUs-taped-to-his-body.608149.0.html
