From my understanding from the past few Earnings Call is that since they started the on demand service (non subscription) in q4 2023 it increased the number of poorer quality loans and therefore increased provisional credit losses for overall loans. They have been growing total users during that time period so it’s not that growth dropped. They also noted that the on demand services cannibalized the MOD subscription which kind of makes sense, if you look at total subs and users it is increasing by quarter but over the past few quarters since implementing “on demand” the growth rate of subscription MODS has decreased. They are fixing that by pivoting back to subscription, which should, according to CEO, increase the life time value of customers, aiming for more subscriptions growth rather than indiscriminate growth of both poor and quality loans. By pivoting back to subscriptions in mid of q3 they project lower q4 PCL and tried to telegraph it by tightening 2025 PCL range, which is expected to be below 3% if my memory is correct. I guess the question is: will the pivot work and get them back into more growth? Overall I am confused about the price action, it is trading a lower than market multiples yet has more growth and profitable for a BNPL, of which I think only Affirm became profitable this quarter. . One of the other posters mentioned short selling manipulation? I wonder if that is affecting price. The PE seems to be guiding for 25% earrings growth which management confirms but also hints could be conservative.

Not calling a top by any means, but they do point out the accounting on the current investments has a turning point in about 2-3 years. I've seen this illustrated by others as well. Of note, one of the biggest risks, should AI build outs slow, are the construction names (FIX, IESC, MOD, etc). These companies are trading at high multiples now, and if growth slows, or they even see a decline in earnings, the stocks could crater. Also of note would be the lack of durable infrastructure resulting from this boom, since GPUs are not noted for their longevity. Still thinking residential solar is an interesting play to counter high electricity bills resulting from this too.

If you don't know what you're doing then I wouldn't suggest penny stocks. That being said, if your dead set on it and your risk tolerance is high as you said, then I would say ALRT. The UKs only investable home grown pure play software led defence company. The company was formed specifically to address areas deemed as urgent by the MOD. They have an impressive team, strategic partnerships and board, including a former field Marshal. Their first software package will be deployed by the end of the year, which they are working on directly with the MOD.

HAPPY TENDIES!** == **in my 10 years of trading markets, I have never come across a stock more misunderstood than SEI (SOLARIS ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE).. this is the easiest double in the market right now and I'll explain why** market thinks this is a boomer oil & gas stock which is why this trades 4x EBITDA and has 20% short interest.. but this company is indispensable for Elon's xAI datacenters as back-up power gen. Elon actually took a 50% stake through a JV structure as he knows he will need this for a very long time. I can go into the background in more detail in a separate post, but basically Elon almost fried his $2 billion worth of NVDA GPUs because the power grid went dark for a few hours and these chips need to be constantly cooled.. that's when he realized he needs on-site natural gas power generation which is what SEI does. he then proceeded to sign a multi-billion dollar deal with SEI.. even if we assumed zero new deals and SEI just powers xAI datacenters in perpetuity, this stock is absurdly undervalued and an easy double. they have a $2 billion enterprise value on nearly $500 million of EBITDA (once the Elon power deal fully ramps in 2027) which is a 4x multiple. look at any of the other AI power stocks like VST CEG TLN that trade 15x+ EBITDA. once the market realizes SEI is an AI stock, this can easily go to 10x EBITDA on top of that, I suspect there are a lot more deals coming for SEI.. OpenAI and META have been studying how fast Elon was able to scale up xAI datacenters and get Grok to the leading edge, and experimenting with natural gas power gen. imagine if you get an announcement with OpenAI as a customer with the stock at 20% short interest **I smell real tendies here and want to make money with the group**

I do feel like you are 100% right, even I have been burned by a cannabis stock before… told myself I wouldn’t touch those again but I do feel like the product and company has good potential! I really felt like the MOD is a bit of a game changer, like you said the generation coming is a lot more axed on cannabis and greens than alcohol. Yupp, the product they have or they can make has almost infinite possibilities in bio, natural, experimental, beverage, food, oils etc. The MOD they have made is growing fast in Ontario and rose up to 3rd best product in less then a year, and they say depending on demand they can play with production without hindering financials So we have a many products, only in Ontario for now and only in 400 out of 3000 shops out there. They still have a whole Canadian market and more to get into. I feel like this can turn out really well if they stick to the plan they are following right now. I just feel like there should be a little more volume or action going on with the start of the year they have no?
