CRSPR, Intellia, Beam, Pacific Biosciences, Illumnia, Editas, Invitae... Will any of these companies be huge in the future?
What are your thoughts on ARKG ETF now as a long-term play?
$PACB: potential 5-bagger, long-ish writeup. re-posting from WSB bc y'all the real ones
$PACB: Cathie Wood is an idiot, but this is a 5-bagger. Long writeup.
$PACB: more than Cathie Wood's dumb ass will tell you

$PACB - I like the stock. Do you like the stock?
PACB - UPDATE: So far this one has moved almost exactly on the line I called for it!! It’s really feeling like this is going to move up a lot more in my opinion. But then again what do I know? See the second picture from my post last week compared to the current state of things!!

FTC sues Illumina (ILMN) to block vertical integration with Grail
I really feel like the Bio-tech sector is going to get even hotter than it already is and I am taking a hard look at PACB as it’s looking poised to make a move. Is anyone else watching this one?? I’m hoping it goes the way I indicated on this chart!!!

All of them follow the same trend - EDIT, CRBU, NTLA, PACB The "smaller" CRISPR stocks hit higher percentage gains but take bigger beatings, too. The ones I'd be interested in optioning would be EDIT and CRBU. But I'd rather buy the shares outright TBH
Forgot about PACB - Pacific Biosciences. It’s going to skyrocket
Crypto mining, genomic sequencing, ai in everything, and robotics….in short KULR, PACB, BBAI, and RR
It’s a great opportunity to buy PACB https://finance.yahoo.com/news/pacbio-expands-distribution-china-gaining-130500851.html
Chasing the most overvalued stock in the world can get you gains for sure, but its not a good investing strategy in the long run. For every PLTR investor making gains, theres a PACB investor who bought it at 40, saw it go to 50 in 2 days and thought they were a genius as well.
What’s your reasoning with calls on PACB?
Oh my god, a PACB believer? Share please. I have a small but annoying stake in this.
You can pay attention to PACB(Now it is $1.2)
Why did you not elaborate that this is an odd one hanging out where institutional has no interest in this firm but the lower prop trading houses do, and therefore it's fair to expect the unexpected dark pool impact on it. On top; given institutional has no interest in this; this is a jojo-bouncing ball stock, long vol instead of directional unless you cover the opposite will work. [http://marketchameleon.com/Overview/PACB/Stock-Price-Action/Volume-Breakdown-History](http://marketchameleon.com/Overview/PACB/Stock-Price-Action/Volume-Breakdown-History) I can't say further given I know which institutions are pulling out #NDA given I worked in banking since '99 as quant. But it's more than you mention. You're not wrong nor right, nor do I try to overpower your argument. I try to make a stronger point al together. I wouldn't touch stock where 'so called professionals' play > 'institutional volume' - given I worked in hedge funds and banks.
What do you think of PACB?
Saw that someone dropped a million dollars on Pacific Biotech calls (PACB)..don't have the nuts to do that but I bought 10000 shares for shits and gigs
Good luck to everyone tomorrow! My plays are SPGC, SOBR and PACB. I’m already in from Friday so should be an exciting day. I’ll be up at 4am PST to see how the pre market looks.
Cathie also bought the Pacbio (PACB) dip all the way down from 25 dollars to 1.60
Like I said in my other comment days ago, just because the musk is too much for us, there are investors who find it aromatic. Please stop talking about Tesla, It's annoying to go to this subreddit and just read TSLA TSLA TSLA instead of actual analysis on companies that are priced for opportunity. Examples: PACB and CRSP
Holding into the long weekend with: PACB, SPGC, and SOBR - we'll see how Tuesday goes!
$PACB missed its estimates on earnings & EPS yesterday and…skyrocketing today? Any explanation?
$PACB , squeeze is happening 🚀🚀
PACB is pumping before the earnings call which is 1 hour from now
PACB looks great and earnings are tonight
PACB is a play if you're into genomics. It trades all over the place so be careful
Interesting you don’t mention PACB. Their sequencing tech will be critical to a ton of the other companies
PACB only 70% down since this comment
You guys don't know how fucking rich I'll be when these CLOV and PACB calls hit. No DD I just like the tickers
Mark my words highly regarded friends $PACB and $CLOV will hit ATH before end of year. When I make a whole $20 off these calls you will all be crying.

just realized that PACB dude is probably pretty happy now. wonder if it keep running.
lol cathie bought $PACB, time to short that shit
Well PACB and APPS almost doubled in a week, lets see that return on big cap tech
Small cap tech/bio are the play, PACB, APPS, MGNI, BASE, BAND, PERI, etc
Yeah, I fell for it hook, line and sinker. Put $10K each in PACB (which was a hot one in one of the ARKs-I forget which one now), then $10K each in ARKK, Q and W. $40K down to $10K. NVDA saved me, $10K up 450% - whew! Sold out of ARKQ about 6 months ago. Going to consider the tax ramifications and probably sell the rest this year and next. Painful.
Yup. I held for about 3 years and then realized losses across about 5 crisper gene therapy companies to reduce taxes on some profits I skimmed. And now I keep wondering whether I should buy back in. I def, 100% believe in growth and social transformation from gene therapy and related areas such as dna sequencing. But do I believe in the power of one (or a small number) of companies to realize profits from it? There I’m not so sure. Why did you choose CRSP? Why not BEAM? Why not EDIT? Why not NTLA? Why not companies with industry-focused applications (instead of medical) like DNA? Why not sequencing machines like PACB? I personally have never been in a biology lab to use crispr but people tell me it is a pretty straight forward, easy to use mechanism. Not much of a barrier there… Could be that the genomic revolution ends up being like the airline revolution - changed the world, for sure, but didn’t necessarily deliver value to investors.
ILMN looking attractive at these prices. PACB, their main competitor is running out of cash fast. TMO isn't putting that much effort into next gen sequencing. It seems like ILMN will be a monopoly for the foreseeable future. We are getting to the point where LLM context length is getting so large that we can fit an entire human genome in the prompt. I'm betting genomic data will be very valuable in the near future. ILMN is the picks and shovels play for this soon to be (hopefully) trend.
PACB is a beaten down stock and the MM are trying to squeeze its shorts!
Message from roaring kitty: PACB is gonna pop today. Shhhhh
PACB is also a prime candidate for a short squeeze as the MMs keep shorting it over and over
Pacific Biosciences right? PACB Name it! Shit the anticipation if killing me!
Bought PACB shares today, might buy calls tomorrow. This stock can become meme?
$PACB watching this blood on the street or a big bump up. Is this a stock that is memeable?
Glad I loaded up on PACB when it crashed
PACB to the moooooon
Anybody know if Cathie Wood is still holding PACB? Pacific Biosciences of California. If she was still holding, she probably dumped it after earnings. Hit an intraday low today of $1.25 Either this company is going tits up, or it's an easy double up for the extremely patient and risk tolerant.
Anybody think Pacific Biosciences of California (PACB) is going to go tits up? I was amazed they were down to $3 like a week ago, and they got chopped in half after earnings. Hit a low today of $1.25
Just bought a ton of PACB
Vaguely remember someone mentioning how PACB is one of their biotech turnaround plays. Hope that person wasn’t near a tall building today.
PACB took a massive shit today on poor guidance. might be oversold now though
Does anybody know why PACB is down +40% on the day? A quick look at the guidance doesn't seem to merit that. [https://www.pacb.com/press\_releases/pacbio-announces-preliminary-first-quarter-2024-revenue-and-updates-2024-revenue-guidance/](https://www.pacb.com/press_releases/pacbio-announces-preliminary-first-quarter-2024-revenue-and-updates-2024-revenue-guidance/)
Anybody knows why PACB is down +40% on the day? Quick glance at the guidance doesn't seem to merit that!?
Anyone thing PACB gonna jump after their announcement
Anybody have any thoughts on PACB? Used to be a Cathie Wood favorite. Although, that's probably more damning than anything
What happened to the short squeeze crowd here? PACB is ripe to run to the sky right now and stick it to the shorts - don’t see that activity here anymore.
Someone told me to buy PACB calls on here and I did.
Forgot I was in a different time zone and missed placing my PACB calls, wow...
No worries man. Thanks for the tips! I closed the PACB position, frog printed.
Wth happening with PACB
PACB About to announce a killer earnings report. Back to $7-$7.25 after the call.

Which one of the two has the highest chances to print? Looking at the call/put ratio, it's pretty similar. PACB IV at 300%, which kinda high

PACB bioscience earnings today
Check out TMO, ILMN, and PACB. They are the equivalent of ASML in the NGS industry. TMO is the safest pick because they are diversified. ILMN is facing short term issues but they are the leader in NGS tech. PACB is the long shot trying to surpass ILMN.
On 2/16 earnings, OP put Palo Alto Networks ticker as PACB, but it should be: PANW.
JUNE 26, 2023 PacBio Announces a Private Convertible Exchange Transaction of $441 Million Principal Amount of 1.375% Convertible Senior Notes due 2030 MENLO PARK, Calif., June 26, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. ("PacBio") (NASDAQ: PACB) today announced that it has entered into a privately negotiated exchange agreement with a holder of PacBio’s outstanding 1.50% Convertible Senior Notes due 2028 (the "2028 Notes"), pursuant to which PacBio will issue $441 million principal amount of its 1.375% Convertible Senior Notes due 2030 (the "New Notes") in exchange for $441 million principal amount of the 2028 Notes (the "Exchange Transaction"), in a transaction exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and the rules and regulations thereunder. The Exchange Transaction is expected to close on or about June 30, 2023, subject to customary closing conditions. "In 2021, we issued $900 million in convertible notes due in 2028, enabling us to scale the company for growth. By exchanging a portion of these notes, we have extended the duration of our debt, and with our plans to achieve positive cash flows during 2026, this further strengthens our financial position and gives us greater flexibility," said Christian Henry, President and Chief Executive Officer of PacBio. "This exchange agreement comes at an opportune time as we bring some of the most innovative sequencing solutions to the market." The New Notes will have an initial conversion rate of 46.5116 shares of PacBio’s common stock ("common stock") per $1,000 principal amount of the New Notes (which is equal to an initial conversion price of approximately $21.50 per share of common stock), subject to customary anti-dilution and other adjustments. The Notes will mature on December 15, 2030, unless earlier repurchased, redeemed or converted. The Notes will pay interest semi-annually on each June 15 and December 15, commencing on December 15, 2023, at a rate of 1.375% per annum. Upon conversion, the Company will have the right to elect settlement in cash, shares of common stock or any combination thereof in its sole discretion. In exchange for issuing the New Notes pursuant to the Exchange Transaction, PacBio will receive and cancel the exchanged 2028 Notes. Following the closing of the Exchange Transaction, $459 million in aggregate principal amount of 2028 Notes will remain outstanding with terms unchanged.
Palo Alto is not PACB. The ticker is correct for earnings date but icon is mismatched. Pacific Biosciences (PACB) is reporting on the 15th. Palo Alto (PANW) is reporting on the 20th. FYI.
PACB is not the stock ticker for Palo Alto Networks
So far all roads lead to $PACB and $ILMN make dna sequence machines. Drug companies buy these to do drug research but they need compute to process all the data. One day a drug company will get very good at this but the clear winners are unknown.
-40k in PACB. We brother from different mother.
Definitely going to enjoy the volatility on PACB.
I'm already knee deep with PACB on avg of 7,5 $ and planning to bury myself even deeper today or this week depending on how the stock moves. I think the prelim 4thQ/23 was not bad and does not justify over 20% fall on the stock. My target price is 14$ based on absolutely nothing. Any expert reflections?
