I sell paypal butterfly spreads. I take my entry when the RMA cross streams AVWAP under the bullish fibonacci third reich retracement while Elliot waves me down from afar for the fourth time; Even better if you can watch until the chart prints an 8TU candle but really the best is if you can time it during the CEO's interview on CNBC. In the future I think the stock is definitely bullish but once I realized that actually the P/E ratio was experiencing quite the drop in recent history down to .92... You need to rewatch the options Greeks videos then. The Greeks have a massive effect on the value of your options. I also second what another Redditor said that you should avoid single stock options. You should also look up and study all the different types of risk in the market. If you are trading single stock options, you have concentration risk. There isn't the same concentration risk if you are trading index options. Another added benefit of index options is that they are more liquid, leading to better fills. Also, some index options like SPX or XSP are considered section 1256 contracts that have better tax implications where they are taxed at 40% short term and 60% long-term capital gains rates, much like futures contracts. What I meant by the profit target comment is that usually, you are targeting a percentage gain, not a kind of arbitrary number. I'm not sure how you got your target number, so I won't assume it wasn't a percentage. Another critical thing to know when selling options is to monitor your risk reward. As time passes and you collect theta (time premium), your risk to reward ratio changes. For example, when I trade futures options, I always place GTC orders to buy back my naked put short option legs for 85% profit target. There is no reason to hold onto the outsized risk of the short option when you have already gained the majority of the profit you were looking for. Another suggestion, something that blew my mind when I first discovered it, is to look up pictures of the difference in decay curves between at-the-money and out-of-the-money options. You will see that out of the money options decay very slowly nearing expiration. Alright well in all honesty getting rid of the random small holdings under a few hundred dollars (and maybe some of the crypto unless you're certain you want to keep it) and putting it into some dividend ETF with low management fees would be boring but better. Also, I don't think the yield is as weak as you think it is, if you remove the cypto from the total value since its not really the same type of asset, that raises the div percentage, and stocks like TU or AT&T that pay super high yields are usually value traps in the long term you'd almost always be better in a broad ETF with a lower yield anyways (ive made that mistake before). I'm around 50% big tech and 50% div stocks personally btw.
So it's not that the contract isn't liquid (march contract is now the nearest and it's v liquid) but it's just that there isn't demand for a Sep delivery TU future (basically everyone trades front future). The swap curve is the overnight interest rate to lend USD for different maturities. This allows you to see the ytm of a bond at each point in the maturity cycle so you can calculate carry and rolldown of the bond index future.
Being long TU and TY both will have very costly roll down. You need to look at the swap curve to get a true sense of the roll down. TU and TY futures only have 1 liquid contract at each point. You've also got negative carry to overcome as your borrowing at SOFR ON and only receiving 2Y (obviously since curve is inverted but you pay that difference by holding long TU and TY).

these are TU690Ts, samsung makes millions of this TV a year and sent my store at least 100 last black friday. even if they don’t sell now they will sell throughout the next few weeks/months at the same price or an increased price. it happens every year. do not buy this tv, it is a frankenstein tv and samsung takes tv parts from multiple of their different TV lines and makes this terrible TV. I have a 401k through my work but want to start saving an additional $6500/yr into a Roth I've just opened up. I'm currently 28 years old and have 50% of my 401k in a target index fund, and 50% into SP500. Should I keep pumping the ETF's and focus on a 80/20 (80% ETF's and 20% stocks) split? You mean the B58 engines the M240i used? Same engine, but the B58 has had two technical updates (TU’s/revisions) since it was first offered on the 2 series. The second technical revision just came out. TU’s are typically a combination of value engineering, reliability/emissions updates, and generally a small power bump.
